Chapter 1
1:1 [hgb]  奉 神 旨 意 ， 照 着 在 基 督 耶 稣 里 生 命 的 应 许 ， 作 基 督 耶 稣 使 徒 的 保 罗 ，      [kjv]  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,     [bbe]  Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ by the purpose of God, in the hope of the life which is in Christ Jesus, 1:2 [hgb]  写 信 给 我 亲 爱 的 儿 子 提 摩 太 。 愿 恩 惠 怜 悯 平 安 ， 从 父 神 和 我 们 主 基 督 耶 稣 ， 归 与 你 。      [kjv]  To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.     [bbe]  To Timothy, my well-loved child: Grace, mercy, peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. 1:3 [hgb]  我 感 谢 神 ， 就 是 我 接 续 祖 先 ， 用 清 洁 的 良 心 所 事 奉 的 神 ， 祈 祷 的 时 候 ， 不 住 地 想 念 你 ，      [kjv]  I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;     [bbe]  I give praise to God, whose servant I have been, with a heart free from sin, from the time of my fathers, because in my prayers at all times the thought of you is with me, night and day 1:4 [hgb]  记 念 你 的 眼 泪 ， 昼 夜 切 切 地 想 要 见 你 ， 好 叫 我 满 心 快 乐 。      [kjv]  Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;     [bbe]  Desiring to see you, keeping in my memory your weeping, so that I may be full of joy; 1:5 [hgb]  想 到 你 心 里 无 伪 之 信 。 这 信 是 先 在 你 外 祖 母 罗 以 ， 和 你 母 亲 友 尼 基 心 里 的 。 我 深 信 也 在 你 的 心 里 。      [kjv]  When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.     [bbe]  Having in mind your true faith, which first was in your mother's mother Lois, and in your mother Eunice, and, I am certain, is now in you. 1:6 [hgb]  为 此 我 提 醒 你 ， 使 你 将 神 借 我 按 手 所 给 你 的 恩 赐 ， 再 如 火 挑 旺 起 来 。      [kjv]  Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.     [bbe]  For this reason I say to you, Let that grace of God which is in you, given to you by my hands, have living power. 1:7 [hgb]  因 为 神 赐 给 我 们 ， 不 是 胆 怯 的 心 ， 乃 是 刚 强 ， 仁 爱 ， 谨 守 的 心 。      [kjv]  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.     [bbe]  For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of self-control. 1:8 [hgb]  你 不 要 以 给 我 们 的 主 作 见 证 为 耻 ， 也 不 要 以 我 这 为 主 被 囚 的 为 耻 。 总 要 按 神 的 能 力 ， 与 我 为 福 音 同 受 苦 难 。      [kjv]  Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;     [bbe]  Have no feeling of shame, then, for the witness of our Lord or for me, his prisoner: but undergo all things for the good news in the measure of the power of God; 1:9 [hgb]  神 救 了 我 们 ， 以 圣 召 召 我 们 ， 不 是 按 我 们 的 行 为 ， 乃 是 按 他 的 旨 意 ， 和 恩 典 。 这 恩 典 是 万 古 之 先 ， 在 基 督 耶 稣 里 赐 给 我 们 的 。      [kjv]  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,     [bbe]  Who gave us salvation, marking us out for his purpose, not on account of our works, but in the measure of his purpose and his grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal, 1:10 [hgb]  但 如 今 借 着 我 们 救 主 基 督 耶 稣 的 显 现 ， 才 表 明 出 来 了 。 他 已 经 把 死 废 去 ， 借 着 福 音 ， 将 不 能 坏 的 生 命 彰 显 出 来 。      [kjv]  But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:     [bbe]  But has now been made clear by the revelation of our Saviour Christ Jesus, who put an end to death and made life unending come to light through the good news, 1:11 [hgb]  我 为 这 福 音 奉 派 作 传 道 的 ， 作 使 徒 ， 作 师 傅 。      [kjv]  Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.     [bbe]  Of which I was made a preacher and an Apostle and a teacher; 1:12 [hgb]  为 这 缘 故 ， 我 也 受 这 些 苦 难 。 然 而 我 不 以 为 耻 。 因 为 知 道 我 所 信 的 是 谁 ， 也 深 信 他 能 保 全 我 所 交 付 他 的 ， （ 或 作 他 所 交 托 我 的 ） 直 到 那 日 。      [kjv]  For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.     [bbe]  And for which I undergo these things: but I have no feeling of shame. For I have knowledge of him in whom I have faith, and I am certain that he is able to keep that which I have given into his care till that day. 1:13 [hgb]  你 从 我 听 的 那 纯 正 话 语 的 规 模 ， 要 用 在 基 督 耶 稣 里 的 信 心 和 爱 心 ， 常 常 守 着 。      [kjv]  Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.     [bbe]  Keep the form of those true words which you had from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 1:14 [hgb]  从 前 所 交 托 你 的 善 道 ， 你 要 靠 着 那 住 在 我 们 里 面 的 圣 灵 ， 牢 牢 的 守 着 。      [kjv]  That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.     [bbe]  That good thing which was given to you keep safe, through the Holy Spirit which is in us. 1:15 [hgb]  凡 在 亚 西 亚 的 人 都 离 弃 我 ， 这 是 你 知 道 的 。 其 中 有 腓 吉 路 和 黑 摩 其 尼 。      [kjv]  This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.     [bbe]  You have had news that all those in Asia went away from me; among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes: 1:16 [hgb]  愿 主 怜 悯 阿 尼 色 弗 一 家 的 人 。 因 他 屡 次 使 我 畅 快 ， 不 以 我 的 锁 链 为 耻 。      [kjv]  The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:     [bbe]  May the Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus because he frequently gave me help, and had no feeling of shame because I was in chains; 1:17 [hgb]  反 倒 在 罗 马 的 时 候 ， 殷 勤 的 找 我 ， 并 且 找 着 了 。      [kjv]  But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.     [bbe]  But when he was in Rome, he went in search of me everywhere, and came to me 1:18 [hgb]  愿 主 使 他 在 那 日 得 主 的 怜 悯 。 他 在 以 弗 所 怎 样 多 多 地 服 事 我 ， 是 你 明 明 知 道 的 。      [kjv]  The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.     [bbe]  (May he have the Lord's mercy in that day); and of all he did for me at Ephesus you have full knowledge. 
Chapter 2
2:1 [hgb]  我 儿 阿 ， 你 要 在 基 督 耶 稣 的 恩 典 上 刚 强 起 来 。      [kjv]  Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.     [bbe]  So then, my child, be strong in the grace which is in Christ Jesus. 2:2 [hgb]  你 在 许 多 见 证 人 面 前 听 见 我 所 教 训 的 ， 也 要 交 托 那 忠 心 能 教 导 别 人 的 人 。      [kjv]  And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.     [bbe]  And the things which I have said to you before a number of witnesses, give to those of the faith, so that they may be teachers of others. 2:3 [hgb]  你 要 和 我 同 受 苦 难 ， 好 像 基 督 耶 稣 的 精 兵 。      [kjv]  Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.     [bbe]  Be ready to do without the comforts of life, as one of the army of Christ Jesus. 2:4 [hgb]  凡 在 军 中 当 兵 的 ， 不 将 世 务 缠 身 ， 好 叫 那 招 他 当 兵 的 人 喜 悦 。      [kjv]  No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.     [bbe]  A fighting man, when he is with the army, keeps himself free from the business of this life so that he may be pleasing to him who has taken him into his army. 2:5 [hgb]  人 若 在 场 上 比 武 ， 非 按 规 矩 ， 就 不 能 得 冠 冕 。      [kjv]  And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.     [bbe]  And if a man takes part in a competition he does not get the crown if he has not kept the rules. 2:6 [hgb]  劳 力 的 农 夫 ， 理 当 先 得 粮 食 。      [kjv]  The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.     [bbe]  It is right for the worker in the fields to be the first to take of the fruit. 2:7 [hgb]  我 所 说 的 话 你 要 思 想 。 因 为 凡 事 主 必 给 你 聪 明 。      [kjv]  Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.     [bbe]  Give thought to what I say; for the Lord will give you wisdom in all things. 2:8 [hgb]  你 要 记 念 耶 稣 基 督 乃 是 大 卫 的 后 裔 。 他 从 死 里 复 活 ， 正 合 乎 我 所 传 的 福 音 。      [kjv]  Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:     [bbe]  Keep in mind Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, who came back from the dead, as my good news gives witness: 2:9 [hgb]  我 为 这 福 音 受 苦 难 ， 甚 至 被 捆 绑 ， 像 犯 人 一 样 。 然 而 神 的 道 ， 却 不 被 捆 绑 。      [kjv]  Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.     [bbe]  In which I put up with the hardest conditions, even prison chains, like one who has done a crime; but the word of God is not in chains. 2:10 [hgb]  所 以 我 为 选 民 凡 事 忍 耐 ， 叫 他 们 也 可 以 得 着 那 在 基 督 耶 稣 里 的 救 恩 ， 和 永 远 的 荣 耀 。      [kjv]  Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.     [bbe]  But I undergo all things for the saints, so that they may have salvation in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 2:11 [hgb]  有 可 信 的 话 说 ， 我 们 若 与 基 督 同 死 ， 也 必 与 他 同 活 。      [kjv]  It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:     [bbe]  This is a true saying: If we undergo death with him, then will we be living with him: 2:12 [hgb]  我 们 若 能 忍 耐 ， 也 必 和 他 一 同 作 王 。 我 们 若 不 认 他 ， 他 也 必 不 认 我 们 。      [kjv]  If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:     [bbe]  If we go on to the end, then we will be ruling with him: if we say we have no knowledge of him, then he will say he has no knowledge of us: 2:13 [hgb]  我 们 纵 然 失 信 ， 他 仍 是 可 信 的 。 因 为 他 不 能 背 乎 自 己 。      [kjv]  If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.     [bbe]  If we are without faith, still he keeps faith, for he will never be untrue to himself. 2:14 [hgb]  你 要 使 众 人 回 想 这 些 事 ， 在 主 面 前 嘱 咐 他 们 ， 不 可 为 言 语 争 辩 。 这 是 没 有 益 处 的 ， 只 能 败 坏 听 见 的 人 。      [kjv]  Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.     [bbe]  Put these things before them, giving them orders in the name of the Lord to keep themselves from fighting about words, which is of no profit, only causing error in their hearers. 2:15 [hgb]  你 当 竭 力 ， 在 神 面 前 得 蒙 喜 悦 ， 作 无 愧 的 工 人 ， 按 着 正 意 分 解 真 理 的 道 。      [kjv]  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.     [bbe]  Let it be your care to get the approval of God, as a workman who has no cause for shame, giving the true word in the right way. 2:16 [hgb]  但 要 远 避 世 俗 的 虚 谈 。 因 为 这 等 人 必 进 到 更 不 敬 虔 的 地 步 。      [kjv]  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.     [bbe]  But take no part in wrong and foolish talk, for those who do so will go farther into evil, 2:17 [hgb]  他 们 的 话 如 同 毒 疮 ， 越 烂 越 大 。 其 中 有 许 米 乃 和 腓 理 徒 。      [kjv]  And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;     [bbe]  And their words will be like poisoned wounds in the flesh: such are Hymenaeus and Philetus; 2:18 [hgb]  他 们 偏 离 了 真 道 ， 说 复 活 的 事 已 过 ， 就 败 坏 好 些 人 的 信 心 。      [kjv]  Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.     [bbe]  Men whose ideas are all false, who say that the coming back from the dead has even now taken place, overturning the faith of some. 2:19 [hgb]  然 而 神 坚 固 的 根 基 立 住 了 。 上 面 有 这 印 记 说 ， 主 认 识 谁 是 他 的 人 。 又 说 ， 凡 称 呼 主 名 的 人 ， 总 要 离 开 不 义 。      [kjv]  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.     [bbe]  But God's strong base is unchanging, having this sign, The Lord has knowledge of those who are his: and, Let everyone by whom the name of the Lord is named be turned away from evil. 2:20 [hgb]  在 大 户 人 家 ， 不 但 有 金 器 银 器 ， 也 有 木 器 瓦 器 。 有 作 为 贵 重 的 ， 有 作 为 卑 贱 的 。      [kjv]  But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.     [bbe]  Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but others of wood and earth, and some which are honoured and some without honour. 2:21 [hgb]  人 若 自 洁 ， 脱 离 卑 贱 的 事 ， 就 必 作 贵 重 的 器 皿 ， 成 为 圣 洁 ， 合 乎 主 用 ， 预 备 行 各 样 的 善 事 。      [kjv]  If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.     [bbe]  If a man makes himself clean from these, he will be a vessel for honour, made holy, ready for the master's use, ready for every good work. 2:22 [hgb]  你 要 逃 避 少 年 的 私 欲 ， 同 那 清 心 祷 告 主 的 人 追 求 公 义 ， 信 德 ， 仁 爱 ， 和 平 。      [kjv]  Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.     [bbe]  But keep yourself from those desires of the flesh which are strong when the body is young, and go after righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those whose prayers go up to the Lord from a clean heart. 2:23 [hgb]  惟 有 那 愚 拙 无 学 问 的 辩 论 ， 总 要 弃 绝 。 因 为 知 道 这 等 事 是 起 争 竞 的 。      [kjv]  But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.     [bbe]  And put away foolish and uncontrolled questionings, seeing that they are a cause of trouble. 2:24 [hgb]  然 而 主 的 仆 人 不 可 争 竞 ， 只 要 温 温 和 和 的 待 众 人 ， 善 于 教 导 ， 存 心 忍 耐 ，      [kjv]  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,     [bbe]  For it is not right for the Lord's servant to make trouble, but he is to be gentle to all, ready in teaching, putting up with wrong, 2:25 [hgb]  用 温 柔 劝 戒 那 抵 挡 的 人 。 或 者 神 给 他 们 悔 改 的 心 ， 可 以 明 白 真 道 。      [kjv]  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;     [bbe]  Gently guiding those who go against the teaching; if by chance God may give them a change of heart and true knowledge, 2:26 [hgb]  叫 他 们 这 已 经 被 魔 鬼 任 意 掳 去 的 ， 可 以 醒 悟 ， 脱 离 他 的 网 罗 。      [kjv]  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.     [bbe]  And so they may get themselves free from the net of the Evil One, being made the prisoners of the Lord's servant, for the purpose of God. 
Chapter 3
3:1 [hgb]  你 该 知 道 ， 末 世 必 有 危 险 的 日 子 来 到 。      [kjv]  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.     [bbe]  But be certain of this, that in the last days times of trouble will come. 3:2 [hgb]  因 为 那 时 人 要 专 顾 自 己 ， 贪 爱 钱 财 ， 自 夸 ， 狂 傲 ， 谤 ？ ？ ， 违 背 父 母 ， 忘 恩 负 义 ， 心 不 圣 洁 ，      [kjv]  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,     [bbe]  For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, uplifted in pride, given to bitter words, going against the authority of their fathers, never giving praise, having no religion, 3:3 [hgb]  无 亲 情 ， 不 解 怨 ， 好 说 谗 言 ， 不 能 自 约 ， 性 情 凶 暴 ， 不 爱 良 善 ，      [kjv]  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,     [bbe]  Without natural love, bitter haters, saying evil of others, violent and uncontrolled, hating all good, 3:4 [hgb]  卖 主 卖 友 ， 任 意 妄 为 ， 自 高 自 大 ， 爱 宴 乐 不 爱 神 。      [kjv]  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;     [bbe]  False to their friends, acting without thought, lifted up in mind, loving pleasure more than God; 3:5 [hgb]  有 敬 虔 的 外 貌 ， 却 背 了 敬 虔 的 实 意 。 这 等 人 你 要 躲 开 。      [kjv]  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.     [bbe]  Having a form of religion, but turning their backs on the power of it: go not with these. 3:6 [hgb]  那 偷 进 人 家 ， 牢 笼 无 知 妇 女 的 ， 正 是 这 等 人 。 这 些 妇 女 担 负 罪 恶 ， 被 各 样 的 私 欲 引 诱 。      [kjv]  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,     [bbe]  For these are they who go secretly into houses, making prisoners of foolish women, weighted down with sin, turned from the way by their evil desires, 3:7 [hgb]  常 常 学 习 ， 终 久 不 能 明 白 真 道 。      [kjv]  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.     [bbe]  Ever learning, and never coming to the knowledge of what is true. 3:8 [hgb]  从 前 雅 尼 和 佯 庇 怎 样 敌 挡 摩 西 ， 这 等 人 也 怎 样 敌 挡 真 道 。 他 们 的 心 地 坏 了 ， 在 真 道 上 是 可 废 弃 的 。      [kjv]  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.     [bbe]  And as James and Jambres went against Moses, so do these go against what is true: men of evil minds, who, tested by faith, are seen to be false. 3:9 [hgb]  然 而 他 们 不 能 再 这 样 敌 挡 ， 因 为 他 们 的 愚 昧 ， 必 在 众 人 面 前 显 露 出 来 ， 像 那 二 人 一 样 。      [kjv]  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.     [bbe]  But they will go no farther: for their foolish behaviour will be clear to all men, as theirs was in the end. 3:10 [hgb]  但 你 已 经 服 从 了 我 的 教 训 ， 品 行 ， 志 向 ， 信 心 ， 宽 容 ， 爱 心 ， 忍 耐 ，      [kjv]  But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,     [bbe]  But you took as your example my teaching, behaviour, purpose, and faith; my long waiting, my love, my quiet undergoing of trouble; 3:11 [hgb]  以 及 我 在 安 提 阿 ， 以 哥 念 ， 路 司 得 ， 所 遭 遇 的 逼 迫 ， 苦 难 。 我 所 忍 受 是 何 等 的 逼 迫 。 但 从 这 一 切 苦 难 中 主 都 把 我 救 出 来 了 。      [kjv]  Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.     [bbe]  My punishments and pain; the things which came to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; the cruel attacks made on me: and the Lord made me free from them all. 3:12 [hgb]  不 但 如 此 ， 凡 立 志 在 基 督 耶 稣 里 敬 虔 度 日 的 ， 也 都 要 受 逼 迫 。      [kjv]  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.     [bbe]  Yes, and all whose purpose is to be living in the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus, will be cruelly attacked. 3:13 [hgb]  只 是 作 恶 的 ， 和 迷 惑 人 的 ， 必 越 久 越 恶 ， 他 欺 哄 人 也 被 人 欺 哄 。      [kjv]  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.     [bbe]  Evil and false men will become worse and worse, using deceit and themselves overcome by deceit. 3:14 [hgb]  但 你 所 学 习 的 ， 所 确 信 的 ， 要 存 在 心 里 。 因 为 你 知 道 是 跟 谁 学 的 。      [kjv]  But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;     [bbe]  But see that you keep to the teaching you have been given and the things of which you are certain, conscious of who has been your teacher; 3:15 [hgb]  并 且 知 道 你 是 从 小 明 白 圣 经 。 这 圣 经 能 使 你 因 信 基 督 耶 稣 有 得 救 的 智 慧 。      [kjv]  And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [bbe]  And shutting their ears to what is true, will be turned away to belief in foolish stories. 4:5 [hgb]  你 却 要 凡 事 谨 慎 ， 忍 受 苦 难 ， 作 传 道 的 工 夫 ， 尽 你 的 职 分 。      [kjv]  But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
