Chapter 1
1:1 [hgb]  神 的 仆 人 ， 耶 稣 基 督 的 使 徒 保 罗 ， 凭 着 神 选 民 的 信 心 ， 与 敬 虔 真 理 的 知 识 ，      [kjv]  Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;     [bbe]  Paul, a servant of God, and an Apostle of Jesus Christ, in agreement with the faith of the saints of God and the full knowledge of what is true in harmony with religion, 1:2 [hgb]  盼 望 那 无 谎 言 的 神 在 万 古 之 先 所 应 许 的 永 生 ，      [kjv]  In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;     [bbe]  In the hope of eternal life, which was made certain before eternal time, by the word of God who is ever true; 1:3 [hgb]  到 了 日 期 ， 借 着 传 扬 的 工 夫 ， 把 他 的 道 显 明 了 。 这 传 扬 的 责 任 ， 是 按 着 神 我 们 救 主 的 命 令 交 托 了 我 。      [kjv]  But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;     [bbe]  Who, in his time, made clear his word in the good news, of which, by the order of God our Saviour, I became a preacher; 1:4 [hgb]  现 在 写 信 给 提 多 ， 就 是 照 着 我 们 共 信 之 道 作 我 真 儿 子 的 。 愿 恩 惠 平 安 ， 从 父 神 和 我 们 的 救 主 基 督 耶 稣 归 与 你 。      [kjv]  To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.     [bbe]  To Titus, my true child in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Saviour. 1:5 [hgb]  我 从 前 留 你 在 革 哩 底 ， 是 要 你 将 那 没 有 办 完 的 事 都 办 整 齐 了 ， 又 照 我 所 吩 咐 你 的 ， 在 各 城 设 立 长 老 。      [kjv]  For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:     [bbe]  I did not take you with me when I went away from Crete, so that you might do what was necessary to put things in order there, placing men in authority over the churches in every town, as I said to you; 1:6 [hgb]  若 有 无 可 指 责 的 人 ， 只 作 一 个 妇 人 的 丈 夫 ， 儿 女 也 是 信 主 的 ， 没 有 人 告 他 们 是 放 荡 不 服 约 束 的 ， 就 可 以 设 立 。      [kjv]  If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.     [bbe]  Men having a good record, husbands of one wife, whose children are of the faith, children of whom it may not be said that they are given to loose living or are uncontrolled. 1:7 [hgb]  监 督 既 是 神 的 管 家 ， 必 须 无 可 指 责 ， 不 任 性 ， 不 暴 躁 ， 不 因 酒 滋 事 ， 不 打 人 ， 不 贪 无 义 之 财 ，      [kjv]  For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;     [bbe]  For it is necessary for a Bishop to be a man of virtue, as God's servant; not pushing himself forward, not quickly moved to wrath or blows, not desiring profit for himself; 1:8 [hgb]  乐 意 接 待 远 人 ， 好 善 ， 庄 重 ， 公 平 ， 圣 洁 ， 自 持 。      [kjv]  But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;     [bbe]  But opening his house freely to guests; a lover of what is good, serious-minded, upright, holy, self-controlled; 1:9 [hgb]  坚 守 所 教 真 实 的 道 理 ， 就 能 将 纯 正 的 教 训 劝 化 人 。 又 能 把 争 辩 的 人 驳 倒 了 。      [kjv]  Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.     [bbe]  Keeping to the true word of the teaching, so that he may be able to give comfort by right teaching and overcome the arguments of the doubters. 1:10 [hgb]  因 为 有 许 多 人 不 服 约 束 ， 说 虚 空 话 ， 欺 哄 人 。 那 奉 割 礼 的 ， 更 是 这 样 。      [kjv]  For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:     [bbe]  For there are men who are not ruled by law; foolish talkers, false teachers, specially those of the circumcision, 1:11 [hgb]  这 些 人 的 口 总 要 堵 住 。 他 们 因 贪 不 义 之 财 ， 将 不 该 教 导 的 教 导 人 ， 败 坏 人 的 全 家 。      [kjv]  Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.     [bbe]  By whom some families have been completely overturned; who take money for teaching things which are not right; these will have to be stopped. 1:12 [hgb]  有 革 哩 底 人 中 的 一 个 本 地 先 知 说 ， 革 哩 底 人 常 说 谎 话 ， 乃 是 恶 兽 ， 又 馋 又 懒 。      [kjv]  One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.     [bbe]  One of their prophets has said, The men of Crete are ever false, evil beasts, lovers of food, hating work. 1:13 [hgb]  这 个 见 证 是 真 的 。 所 以 你 要 严 严 地 责 备 他 们 ， 使 他 们 在 真 道 上 纯 全 无 疵 。      [kjv]  This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;     [bbe]  This witness is true. So say sharp words to them so that they may come to the right faith, 1:14 [hgb]  不 听 犹 太 人 荒 渺 的 言 语 ， 和 离 弃 真 道 之 人 的 诫 命 。      [kjv]  Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.     [bbe]  Giving no attention to the fictions of the Jews and the rules of men who have no true knowledge. 1:15 [hgb]  在 洁 净 的 人 ， 凡 物 都 洁 净 。 在 污 秽 不 信 的 人 ， 什 么 都 不 洁 净 。 连 心 地 和 天 良 ， 也 都 污 秽 了 。      [kjv]  Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.     [bbe]  To the clean in heart all things are clean: but to those who are unclean and without faith nothing is clean; they become unclean in mind and in thought. 1:16 [hgb]  他 们 说 是 认 识 神 行 事 却 和 他 相 背 。 本 是 可 憎 恶 的 ， 是 悖 逆 的 ， 在 各 样 善 事 上 是 可 废 弃 的 。      [kjv]  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.     [bbe]  They say that they have knowledge of God, while by their acts they are turning their backs on him; they are hated by all, hard-hearted, and judged to be without value for any good work. 
Chapter 2
2:1 [hgb]  但 你 所 讲 的 ， 总 要 合 乎 那 纯 正 的 道 理 。      [kjv]  But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:     [bbe]  But let your words be in agreement with true and right teaching: 2:2 [hgb]  劝 老 年 人 ， 要 有 节 制 ， 端 庄 ， 自 守 ， 在 信 心 爱 心 忍 耐 上 ， 都 要 纯 全 无 疵 。      [kjv]  That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.     [bbe]  That old men are to be simple in their tastes, serious, wise, true in faith, in love, and of a quiet mind. 2:3 [hgb]  又 劝 老 年 妇 人 ， 举 止 行 动 要 恭 敬 ， 不 说 谗 言 ， 不 给 酒 作 奴 仆 ， 用 善 道 教 训 人 。      [kjv]  The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;     [bbe]  That old women are to be self-respecting in behaviour, not saying evil of others, not given to taking much wine, teachers of that which is good, 2:4 [hgb]  好 指 教 少 年 妇 人 ， 爱 丈 夫 ， 爱 儿 女 ，      [kjv]  That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,     [bbe]  Training the younger women to have love for their husbands and children, 2:5 [hgb]  谨 守 贞 洁 ， 料 理 家 务 ， 待 人 有 恩 ， 顺 服 自 己 的 丈 夫 ， 免 得 神 的 道 理 被 毁 谤 。      [kjv]  To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.     [bbe]  To be wise in mind, clean in heart, kind; working in their houses, living under the authority of their husbands; so that no evil may be said of the word of God. 2:6 [hgb]  又 劝 少 年 人 要 谨 守 。      [kjv]  Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.     [bbe]  To the young men give orders to be wise and serious-minded: 2:7 [hgb]  你 自 己 凡 事 要 显 出 善 行 的 榜 样 ， 在 教 训 上 要 正 直 ， 端 庄 ，      [kjv]  In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,     [bbe]  In all things see that you are an example of good works; holy in your teaching, serious in behaviour, 2:8 [hgb]  言 语 纯 全 ， 无 可 指 责 ， 叫 那 反 对 的 人 ， 既 无 处 可 说 我 们 的 不 是 ， 便 自 觉 羞 愧 。      [kjv]  Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.     [bbe]  Saying true and right words, against which no protest may be made, so that he who is not on our side may be put to shame, unable to say any evil of us. 2:9 [hgb]  劝 仆 人 要 顺 服 自 己 的 主 人 ， 凡 事 讨 他 的 喜 欢 。 不 可 顶 撞 他 。      [kjv]  Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;     [bbe]  Servants are to be under the authority of their masters, pleasing them in all things, without argument; 2:10 [hgb]  不 可 私 拿 东 西 。 要 显 为 忠 诚 ， 以 致 凡 事 尊 荣 我 们 救 主 神 的 道 。      [kjv]  Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.     [bbe]  Not taking what is not theirs, but giving clear signs of their good faith, in all things doing credit to the teaching of God our Saviour. 2:11 [hgb]  因 为 神 救 众 人 的 恩 典 ， 已 经 显 明 出 来 ，      [kjv]  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,     [bbe]  For the grace of God has come, giving salvation to all men, 2:12 [hgb]  教 训 我 们 除 去 不 敬 虔 的 心 ， 和 世 俗 的 情 欲 ， 在 今 世 自 守 ， 公 义 ， 敬 虔 度 日 。      [kjv]  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;     [bbe]  Training us so that, turning away from evil and the desires of this world, we may be living wisely and uprightly in the knowledge of God in this present life; 2:13 [hgb]  等 候 所 盼 望 的 福 ， 并 等 候 至 大 的 神 ， 和 （ 或 作 无 和 字 ） 我 们 救 主 耶 稣 基 督 的 荣 耀 显 现 。      [kjv]  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;     [bbe]  Looking for the glad hope, the revelation of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ; 2:14 [hgb]  他 为 我 们 舍 了 自 己 ， 要 赎 我 们 脱 离 一 切 罪 恶 ， 又 洁 净 我 们 ， 特 作 自 己 的 子 民 ， 热 心 为 善 。      [kjv]  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.     [bbe]  Who gave himself for us, so that he might make us free from all wrongdoing, and make for himself a people clean in heart and on fire with good works. 2:15 [hgb]  这 些 事 你 要 讲 明 ， 劝 戒 人 ， 用 各 等 权 柄 责 备 人 。 不 可 叫 人 轻 看 你 。      [kjv]  These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.     [bbe]  On all these points give teaching and help, and make clear what is right with all authority. Let all men give you honour. 
Chapter 3
3:1 [hgb]  你 要 提 醒 众 人 ， 叫 他 们 顺 服 作 官 的 ， 掌 权 的 ， 遵 他 的 命 ， 预 备 行 各 样 的 善 事 。      [kjv]  Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,     [bbe]  Make clear to them that they are to put themselves under rulers and authorities, to do what they are ordered, to be ready for every good work, 3:2 [hgb]  不 要 毁 谤 ， 不 要 争 竞 ， 总 要 和 平 ， 向 众 人 大 显 温 柔 。      [kjv]  To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.     [bbe]  To say no evil of any man, not to be fighters, to give way to others, to be gentle in behaviour to all men. 3:3 [hgb]  我 们 从 前 也 是 无 知 ， 悖 逆 ， 受 迷 惑 ， 服 事 各 样 私 欲 和 宴 乐 ， 常 存 恶 毒 （ 或 作 阴 毒 ） 嫉 妒 的 心 ， 是 可 恨 的 ， 又 是 彼 此 相 恨 。      [kjv]  For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.     [bbe]  For in the past we were foolish, hard in heart, turned from the true way, servants of evil desires and pleasures, living in bad feeling and envy, hated and hating one another. 3:4 [hgb]  但 到 了 神 我 们 救 主 的 恩 慈 ， 和 他 向 人 所 施 的 慈 爱 显 明 的 时 候 ，      [kjv]  But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,     [bbe]  But when the mercy of God our Saviour, and his love to man was seen, 3:5 [hgb]  他 便 救 了 我 们 ， 并 不 是 因 我 们 自 己 所 行 的 义 ， 乃 是 照 他 的 怜 悯 ， 借 着 重 生 的 洗 ， 和 圣 灵 的 更 新 。      [kjv]  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;     [bbe]  Not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but in the measure of his mercy, he gave us salvation, through the washing of the new birth and the giving of new life in the Holy Spirit, 3:6 [hgb]  圣 灵 就 是 神 借 着 耶 稣 基 督 我 们 救 主 ， 厚 厚 浇 灌 在 我 们 身 上 的 。      [kjv]  Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;     [bbe]  Which he gave us freely through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 3:7 [hgb]  好 叫 我 们 因 他 的 恩 得 称 为 义 ， 可 以 凭 着 永 生 的 盼 望 成 为 后 嗣 。 （ 或 作 可 以 凭 着 盼 望 承 受 永 生 ） 。      [kjv]  That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.     [bbe]  So that, having been given righteousness through grace, we might have a part in the heritage, the hope of eternal life. 3:8 [hgb]  这 话 是 可 信 的 ， 我 也 愿 你 把 这 些 事 ， 切 切 实 实 的 讲 明 ， 使 那 些 已 信 神 的 人 ， 留 心 作 正 经 事 业 。 （ 或 作 留 心 行 善 ） 这 都 是 美 事 ， 并 且 与 人 有 益 。      [kjv]  This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.     [bbe]  This is a true saying; and it is my desire that you may give certain witness about these things, so that those who have had faith in God may give attention to good works. These things are good and of profit to men; 3:9 [hgb]  要 远 避 无 知 的 辩 论 ， 和 家 谱 的 空 谈 ， 以 及 分 争 ， 并 因 律 法 而 起 的 争 竞 。 因 为 这 都 是 虚 妄 无 益 的 。      [kjv]  But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.     [bbe]  But have nothing to do with foolish questionings, and lists of generations, and fights and arguments about the law; for they are of no profit and foolish. 3:10 [hgb]  分 门 结 党 的 人 ， 警 戒 过 一 两 次 ， 就 要 弃 绝 他 。      [kjv]  A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;     [bbe]  A man whose opinions are not those of the church, after a first and second protest, is to be kept out of your society; 3:11 [hgb]  因 为 知 道 这 等 人 已 经 背 道 ， 犯 了 罪 ， 自 己 明 知 不 是 ， 还 是 去 作 。      [kjv]  Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.     [bbe]  Clearly he is in error and a sinner, being self-judged. 3:12 [hgb]  我 打 发 亚 提 马 ， 或 是 推 基 古 ， 到 你 那 里 去 的 时 候 ， 你 要 赶 紧 往 尼 哥 波 立 去 见 我 。 因 为 我 已 经 定 意 在 那 里 过 冬 。      [kjv]  When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.     [bbe]  When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis: for it is my purpose to be there for the winter. 3:13 [hgb]  你 要 赶 紧 给 律 师 西 纳 ， 和 亚 波 罗 送 行 ， 叫 他 们 没 有 缺 乏 。      [kjv]  Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.     [bbe]  Send Zenas, the man of law, and Apollos on their journey with all care, so that they may be in need of nothing. 3:14 [hgb]  并 且 我 们 的 人 要 学 习 正 经 事 业 ， （ 或 作 要 学 习 行 善 ） 预 备 所 需 用 的 ， 免 得 不 结 果 子 。      [kjv]  And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.     [bbe]  And let our people go on with good works for necessary purposes, so that they may not be without fruit. 3:15 [hgb]  同 我 在 一 处 的 人 都 问 你 安 。 请 代 问 那 些 因 有 信 心 爱 我 们 的 人 安 。 愿 恩 惠 常 与 你 们 众 人 同 在 。      [kjv]  All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.     [bbe]  All who are with me send you their love. Give our love to our friends in the faith. Grace be with you all.
