Chapter 1
1:1 [hgb]  耶 稣 基 督 的 使 徒 彼 得 ， 写 信 给 那 分 散 在 本 都 ， 加 拉 太 ， 加 帕 多 家 ， 亚 西 亚 ， 庇 推 尼 寄 居 的 。      [kjv]  Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,     [bbe]  Peter, an Apostle of Jesus Christ, to the saints who are living in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 1:2 [hgb]  就 是 照 父 神 的 先 见 被 拣 选 ， 借 着 圣 灵 得 成 圣 洁 ， 以 致 顺 服 耶 稣 基 督 ， 又 蒙 他 血 所 洒 的 人 。 愿 恩 惠 平 安 ， 多 多 地 加 给 你 们 。      [kjv]  Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.     [bbe]  Who, through the purpose of God, have been made holy by the Spirit, disciples of Jesus, made clean by his blood: May you have grace and peace in full measure. 1:3 [hgb]  愿 颂 赞 归 与 我 们 主 耶 稣 基 督 的 父 神 ， 他 曾 照 自 己 的 大 怜 悯 ， 借 耶 稣 基 督 从 死 里 复 活 重 生 了 我 们 ， 叫 我 们 有 活 泼 的 盼 望 ，      [kjv]  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,     [bbe]  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who through his great mercy has given us a new birth and a living hope by the coming again of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1:4 [hgb]  可 以 得 着 不 能 朽 坏 ， 不 能 玷 污 ， 不 能 衰 残 ， 为 你 们 存 留 在 天 上 的 基 业 。      [kjv]  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,     [bbe]  And a heritage fair, holy and for ever new, waiting in heaven for you, 1:5 [hgb]  你 们 这 因 信 蒙 神 能 力 保 守 的 人 ， 必 能 得 着 所 预 备 ， 到 末 世 要 显 现 的 救 恩 。      [kjv]  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.     [bbe]  Who, by the power of God are kept, through faith, for that salvation, which will be seen at the last day. 1:6 [hgb]  因 此 ， 你 们 是 大 有 喜 乐 ， 但 如 今 ， 在 百 般 的 试 炼 中 暂 时 忧 愁 。      [kjv]  Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:     [bbe]  You have cause for great joy in this, though it may have been necessary for you to be troubled for a little time, being tested in all sorts of ways, 1:7 [hgb]  叫 你 们 的 信 心 既 被 试 验 ， 就 比 那 被 火 试 验 ， 仍 然 能 坏 的 金 子 ， 更 显 宝 贵 。 可 以 在 耶 稣 基 督 显 现 的 时 候 ， 得 着 称 赞 ， 荣 耀 ， 尊 贵 。      [kjv]  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:     [bbe]  So that the true metal of your faith, being of much greater value than gold (which, though it comes to an end, is tested by fire), may come to light in praise and glory and honour, at the revelation of Jesus Christ: 1:8 [hgb]  你 们 虽 然 没 有 见 过 他 ， 却 是 爱 他 。 如 今 虽 不 得 看 见 ， 却 因 信 他 就 有 说 不 出 来 ， 满 有 荣 光 的 大 喜 乐 。      [kjv]  Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:     [bbe]  To whom your love is given, though you have not seen him; and the faith which you have in him, though you do not see him now, gives you joy greater than words and full of glory: 1:9 [hgb]  并 且 得 着 你 们 信 心 的 果 效 ， 就 是 灵 魂 的 救 恩 。      [kjv]  Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.     [bbe]  For so you have the true end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 1:10 [hgb]  论 到 这 救 恩 ， 那 预 先 说 你 们 要 得 恩 典 的 众 先 知 ， 早 已 详 细 的 寻 求 考 察 。      [kjv]  Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:     [bbe]  For the prophets who gave the news of the grace which would come to you, made search with all care for knowledge of this salvation; 1:11 [hgb]  就 是 考 察 在 他 们 心 里 基 督 的 灵 ， 预 先 证 明 基 督 受 苦 难 ， 后 来 得 荣 耀 ， 是 指 着 什 么 时 候 ， 并 怎 样 的 时 候 。      [kjv]  Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.     [bbe]  Attempting to see what sort of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them was pointing to, when it gave witness to the pains which Christ would undergo and the glories which would come after them. 1:12 [hgb]  他 们 得 了 启 示 ， 知 道 他 们 所 传 讲 的 一 切 事 （ 传 讲 原 文 作 服 事 ） ， 不 是 为 自 己 ， 乃 是 为 你 们 。 那 靠 着 从 天 上 差 来 的 圣 灵 ， 传 福 音 给 你 们 的 人 ， 现 在 将 这 些 事 报 给 你 们 。 天 使 也 愿 意 详 细 察 看 这 些 事 。      [kjv]  Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.     [bbe]  And it was made clear to those prophets that they were God's servants not for themselves but for you, to give you word of the things which have now come to your ears from the preachers of the good news through the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; things which even angels have a desire to see. 1:13 [hgb]  所 以 要 约 束 你 们 的 心 （ 原 文 作 束 上 你 们 心 中 的 腰 ） ， 谨 慎 自 守 ， 专 心 盼 望 耶 稣 基 督 显 现 的 时 候 所 带 来 给 你 们 的 恩 。      [kjv]  Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;     [bbe]  So make your minds ready, and keep on the watch, hoping with all your power for the grace which is to come to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 1:14 [hgb]  你 们 既 作 顺 命 的 儿 女 ， 就 不 要 效 法 从 前 蒙 昧 无 知 的 时 候 ， 那 放 纵 私 欲 的 样 子 。      [kjv]  As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:     [bbe]  Like children ruled by God, do not go back to the old desires of the time when you were without knowledge: 1:15 [hgb]  那 召 你 们 的 既 是 圣 洁 ， 你 们 在 一 切 所 行 的 事 上 也 要 圣 洁 。      [kjv]  But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;     [bbe]  But be holy in every detail of your lives, as he, whose servants you are, is holy; 1:16 [hgb]  因 为 经 上 记 着 说 ， 你 们 要 圣 洁 ， 因 为 我 是 圣 洁 的 。      [kjv]  Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.     [bbe]  Because it has been said in the Writings, You are to be holy, for I am holy. 1:17 [hgb]  你 们 既 称 那 不 偏 待 人 ， 按 各 人 行 为 审 判 人 的 主 为 父 ， 就 当 存 敬 畏 的 心 ， 度 你 们 在 世 寄 居 的 日 子 。      [kjv]  And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:     [bbe]  And if you give the name of Father to him who, judging every man by his acts, has no respect for a man's position, then go in fear while you are on this earth: 1:18 [hgb]  知 道 你 们 得 赎 ， 脱 去 你 们 祖 宗 所 传 流 虚 妄 的 行 为 ， 不 是 凭 着 能 坏 的 金 银 等 物 。      [kjv]  Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;     [bbe]  Being conscious that you have been made free from that foolish way of life which was your heritage from your fathers, not through a payment of things like silver or gold which come to destruction, 1:19 [hgb]  乃 是 凭 着 基 督 的 宝 血 ， 如 同 无 瑕 疵 无 玷 污 的 羔 羊 之 血 。      [kjv]  But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:     [bbe]  But through holy blood, like that of a clean and unmarked lamb, even the blood of Christ: 1:20 [hgb]  基 督 在 创 世 以 前 ， 是 预 先 被 神 知 道 的 ， 却 在 这 末 世 ， 才 为 你 们 显 现 。      [kjv]  Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,     [bbe]  Who was marked out by God before the making of the world, but was caused to be seen in these last times for you, 1:21 [hgb]  你 们 也 因 着 他 ， 信 那 叫 他 从 死 里 复 活 ， 又 给 他 荣 耀 的 神 ， 叫 你 们 的 信 心 ， 和 盼 望 ， 都 在 于 神 。      [kjv]  Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.     [bbe]  Who through him have faith in God who took him up again from the dead into glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God. 1:22 [hgb]  你 们 既 因 顺 从 真 理 ， 洁 净 了 自 己 的 心 ， 以 致 爱 弟 兄 没 有 虚 假 ， 就 当 从 心 里 彼 此 切 实 相 爱 。 从 心 里 有 古 卷 作 从 清 洁 的 心      [kjv]  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:     [bbe]  And as you have made your souls clean, being ruled by what is true, and loving one another without deceit, see that your love is warm and from the heart: 1:23 [hgb]  你 们 蒙 了 重 生 ， 不 是 由 于 能 坏 的 种 子 ， 乃 是 由 于 不 能 坏 的 种 子 ， 是 借 着 神 活 泼 常 存 的 道 。      [kjv]  Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.     [bbe]  Because you have had a new birth, not from the seed of man, but from eternal seed, through the word of a living and unchanging God. 1:24 [hgb]  因 为 凡 有 血 气 的 ， 尽 都 如 草 ， 他 的 美 荣 ， 都 像 草 上 的 花 。 草 必 枯 干 ， 花 必 凋 谢 。      [kjv]  For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:     [bbe]  For it is said, All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of the grass. The grass becomes dry and the flower dead: 1:25 [hgb]  惟 有 主 的 道 是 永 存 的 。 所 传 给 你 们 的 福 音 就 是 这 道 。      [kjv]  But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.     [bbe]  But the word of the Lord is eternal. And this is the word of the good news which was given to you. 
Chapter 2
2:1 [hgb]  所 以 你 们 既 除 去 一 切 的 恶 毒 （ 或 作 阴 毒 ） ， 诡 诈 ， 并 假 善 ， 嫉 妒 ， 和 一 切 毁 谤 的 话 ，      [kjv]  Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,     [bbe]  So putting away all wrongdoing, and all tricks and deceits and envies and evil talk, 2:2 [hgb]  就 要 爱 慕 那 纯 净 的 灵 奶 ， 像 才 生 的 婴 孩 爱 慕 奶 一 样 ， 叫 你 们 因 此 渐 长 ， 以 致 得 救 。      [kjv]  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:     [bbe]  Be full of desire for the true milk of the word, as babies at their mothers' breasts, so that you may go on to salvation; 2:3 [hgb]  你 们 若 尝 过 主 恩 的 滋 味 ， 就 必 如 此      [kjv]  If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.     [bbe]  If you have had a taste of the grace of the Lord: 2:4 [hgb]  主 乃 活 石 。 固 然 是 被 人 所 弃 的 ， 却 是 被 神 所 拣 选 所 宝 贵 的 。      [kjv]  To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,     [bbe]  To whom you come, as to a living stone, not honoured by men, but of great and special value to God; 2:5 [hgb]  你 们 来 到 主 面 前 ， 也 就 像 活 石 ， 被 建 造 成 为 灵 宫 ， 作 圣 洁 的 祭 司 ， 借 着 耶 稣 基 督 奉 献 神 所 悦 纳 的 灵 祭 。      [kjv]  Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.     [bbe]  You, as living stones, are being made into a house of the spirit, a holy order of priests, making those offerings of the spirit which are pleasing to God through Jesus Christ. 2:6 [hgb]  因 为 经 上 说 ， 看 哪 ， 我 把 所 拣 选 所 宝 贵 的 房 角 石 ， 安 放 在 锡 安 。 信 靠 他 的 人 ， 必 不 至 于 羞 愧 。      [kjv]  Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.     [bbe]  Because it is said in the Writings, See, I am placing a keystone in Zion, of great and special value; and the man who has faith in him will not be put to shame. 2:7 [hgb]  所 以 他 在 你 们 信 的 人 就 为 宝 贵 ， 在 那 不 信 的 人 有 话 说 ， 匠 人 所 弃 的 石 头 ， 已 作 了 房 角 的 头 块 石 头 。      [kjv]  Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,     [bbe]  And the value is for you who have faith; but it is said for those without faith, The very stone which the builders put on one side, was made the chief stone of the building; 2:8 [hgb]  又 说 ， 作 了 绊 脚 的 石 头 ， 跌 人 的 磐 石 。 他 们 既 不 顺 从 ， 就 在 道 理 上 绊 跌 。 （ 或 作 他 们 绊 跌 都 因 不 顺 从 道 理 ） 他 们 这 样 绊 跌 也 是 预 定 的 。      [kjv]  And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.     [bbe]  And, A stone of falling, a rock of trouble; the word is the cause of their fall, because they go against it, and this was the purpose of God. 2:9 [hgb]  惟 有 你 们 是 被 拣 选 的 族 类 ， 是 有 君 尊 的 祭 司 ， 是 圣 洁 的 国 度 ， 是 属 神 的 子 民 ， 要 叫 你 们 宣 扬 那 召 你 们 出 黑 暗 入 奇 妙 光 明 者 的 美 德 。      [kjv]  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:     [bbe]  But you are a special people, a holy nation, priests and kings, a people given up completely to God, so that you may make clear the virtues of him who took you out of the dark into the light of heaven. 2:10 [hgb]  你 们 从 前 算 不 得 子 民 ， 现 在 却 作 了 神 的 子 民 。 从 前 未 曾 蒙 怜 恤 ， 现 在 却 蒙 了 怜 恤 。      [kjv]  Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.     [bbe]  In the past you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; then there was no mercy for you, but now mercy has been given to you. 2:11 [hgb]  亲 爱 的 弟 兄 阿 你 们 是 客 旅 ， 是 寄 居 的 。 我 劝 你 们 要 禁 戒 肉 体 的 私 欲 。 这 私 欲 是 与 灵 魂 争 战 的 。      [kjv]  Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;     [bbe]  My loved ones, I make this request with all my heart, that, as those for whom this world is a strange country, you will keep yourselves from the desires of the flesh which make war against the soul; 2:12 [hgb]  你 们 在 外 邦 人 中 ， 应 当 品 行 端 正 ， 叫 那 些 毁 谤 你 们 是 作 恶 的 ， 因 看 见 你 们 的 好 行 为 ， 便 在 鉴 察 的 日 子 （ 鉴 察 或 作 眷 顾 ） ， 归 荣 耀 给 神 。      [kjv]  Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.     [bbe]  Being of good behaviour among the Gentiles; so that though they say now that you are evil-doers, they may see your good works and give glory to God when he comes to be their judge. 2:13 [hgb]  你 们 为 主 的 缘 故 ， 要 顺 服 人 的 一 切 制 度 ， 或 是 在 上 的 君 王 ，      [kjv]  Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;     [bbe]  Keep all the laws of men because of the Lord; those of the king, who is over all, 2:14 [hgb]  或 是 君 王 所 派 罚 恶 赏 善 的 臣 宰 。      [kjv]  Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.     [bbe]  And those of the rulers who are sent by him for the punishment of evil-doers and for the praise of those who do well. 2:15 [hgb]  因 为 神 的 旨 意 原 是 要 你 们 行 善 ， 可 以 堵 住 那 糊 涂 无 知 人 的 口 。      [kjv]  For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:     [bbe]  Because it is God's pleasure that foolish and narrow-minded men may be put to shame by your good behaviour: 2:16 [hgb]  你 们 虽 是 自 由 的 ， 却 不 可 借 着 自 由 遮 盖 恶 毒 （ 或 作 阴 毒 ） ， 总 要 作 神 的 仆 人 。      [kjv]  As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.     [bbe]  As those who are free, not using your free position as a cover for wrongdoing, but living as the servants of God; 2:17 [hgb]  务 要 尊 敬 众 人 。 亲 爱 教 中 的 弟 兄 。 敬 畏 神 。 尊 敬 君 王 。      [kjv]  Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.     [bbe]  Have respect for all, loving the brothers, fearing God, honouring the king. 2:18 [hgb]  你 们 作 仆 人 的 ， 凡 事 要 存 敬 畏 的 心 顺 服 主 人 。 不 但 顺 服 那 善 良 温 和 的 ， 就 是 那 乖 僻 的 也 要 顺 服 。      [kjv]  Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.     [bbe]  Servants, take orders from your masters with all respect; not only if they are good and gentle, but even if they are bad-humoured. 2:19 [hgb]  倘 若 人 为 叫 良 心 对 得 住 神 ， 就 忍 受 冤 屈 的 苦 楚 ， 这 是 可 喜 爱 的 。      [kjv]  For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.     [bbe]  For it is a sign of grace if a man, desiring to do right in the eyes of God, undergoes pain as punishment for something which he has not done. 2:20 [hgb]  你 们 若 因 犯 罪 受 责 打 ， 能 忍 耐 ， 有 什 么 可 夸 的 呢 ？ 但 你 们 若 因 行 善 受 苦 ， 能 忍 耐 ， 这 在 神 看 是 可 喜 爱 的 。      [kjv]  For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.     [bbe]  What credit is it if, when you have done evil, you take your punishment quietly? but if you are given punishment for doing right, and take it quietly, this is pleasing to God. 2:21 [hgb]  你 们 蒙 召 原 是 为 此 。 因 基 督 也 为 你 们 受 过 苦 ， 给 你 们 留 下 榜 样 ， 叫 你 们 跟 随 他 的 脚 踪 行 。      [kjv]  For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:     [bbe]  This is God's purpose for you: because Jesus himself underwent punishment for you, giving you an example, so that you might go in his footsteps: 2:22 [hgb]  他 并 没 有 犯 罪 ， 口 里 也 没 有 诡 诈 。      [kjv]  Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:     [bbe]  Who did no evil, and there was no deceit in his mouth: 2:23 [hgb]  他 被 骂 不 还 口 。 受 害 不 说 威 吓 的 话 。 只 将 自 己 交 托 那 按 公 义 审 判 人 的 主 。      [kjv]  Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:     [bbe]  To sharp words he gave no sharp answer; when he was undergoing pain, no angry word came from his lips; but he put himself into the hands of the judge of righteousness: 2:24 [hgb]  他 被 挂 在 木 头 上 亲 身 担 当 了 我 们 的 罪 ， 使 我 们 既 然 在 罪 上 死 ， 就 得 以 在 义 上 活 。 因 他 受 的 鞭 伤 ， 你 们 便 得 了 医 治 。      [kjv]  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.     [bbe]  He took our sins on himself, giving his body to be nailed on the tree, so that we, being dead to sin, might have a new life in righteousness, and by his wounds we have been made well. 2:25 [hgb]  你 们 从 前 好 像 迷 路 的 羊 。 如 今 却 归 到 你 们 灵 魂 的 牧 人 监 督 了 。      [kjv]  For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.     [bbe]  Because, like sheep, you had gone out of the way; but now you have come back to him who keeps watch over your souls. 
Chapter 3
3:1 [hgb]  你 们 作 妻 子 的 ， 要 顺 服 自 己 的 丈 夫 。 这 样 ， 若 有 不 信 从 道 理 的 丈 夫 ， 他 们 虽 然 不 听 道 ， 也 可 以 因 妻 子 的 品 行 被 感 化 过 来 。      [kjv]  Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;     [bbe]  Wives, be ruled by your husbands; so that even if some of them give no attention to the word, their hearts may be changed by the behaviour of their wives, 3:2 [hgb]  这 正 是 因 看 见 你 们 有 贞 洁 的 品 行 ， 和 敬 畏 的 心 。      [kjv]  While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Chapter 4
4:1 [hgb]  基 督 既 在 肉 身 受 苦 ， 你 们 也 当 将 这 样 的 心 志 作 为 兵 器 。 因 为 在 肉 身 受 过 苦 的 ， 就 已 经 与 罪 断 绝 了 。      [kjv]  Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;     [bbe]  So that as Jesus was put to death in the flesh, do you yourselves be of the same mind; for the death of the flesh puts an end to sin; 4:2 [hgb]  你 们 存 这 样 的 心 ， 从 今 以 后 ， 就 可 以 不 从 人 的 情 欲 ， 只 从 神 的 旨 意 ， 在 世 度 余 下 的 光 阴 。      [kjv]  That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.     [bbe]  So that you may give the rest of your lives in the flesh, not to the desires of men, but to the purpose of God. 4:3 [hgb]  因 为 往 日 随 从 外 邦 人 的 心 意 ， 行 邪 淫 ， 恶 欲 ， 醉 酒 ， 荒 宴 ， 群 饮 ， 并 可 恶 拜 偶 像 的 事 ， 时 候 已 经 够 了 。      [kjv]  For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:     [bbe]  Because for long enough, in times past, we have been living after the way of the Gentiles, given up to the desires of the flesh, to drinking and feasting and loose behaviour and unclean worship of images; 4:4 [hgb]  他 们 在 这 些 事 上 ， 见 你 们 不 与 他 们 同 奔 那 放 荡 无 度 的 路 ， 就 以 为 怪 毁 谤 你 们 。      [kjv]  Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:     [bbe]  And they are wondering that you no longer go with them in this violent wasting of life, and are saying evil things of you: 4:5 [hgb]  他 们 必 在 那 将 要 审 判 活 人 死 人 的 主 面 前 交 账 。      [kjv]  Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.     [bbe]  But they will have to give an account of themselves to him who is ready to be the judge of the living and the dead. 4:6 [hgb]  为 此 ， 就 是 死 人 也 曾 有 福 音 传 给 他 们 ， 要 叫 他 们 的 肉 体 按 着 人 受 审 判 ， 他 们 的 灵 性 却 靠 神 活 着 。      [kjv]  For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.     [bbe]  For this was the reason why the good news of Jesus was given even to the dead, so that they might be judged as men in the flesh, but might be living before God in the spirit. 4:7 [hgb]  万 物 的 结 局 近 了 。 所 以 你 们 要 谨 慎 自 守 ， 儆 醒 祷 告 。      [kjv]  But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.     [bbe]  But the end of all things is near: so be serious in your behaviour and keep on the watch with prayer; 4:8 [hgb]  最 要 紧 的 是 彼 此 切 实 相 爱 。 因 为 爱 能 遮 掩 许 多 的 罪 。      [kjv]  And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.     [bbe]  And most of all be warm in your love for one another; because in love there is forgiveness for sins without number: 4:9 [hgb]  你 们 要 互 相 款 待 ， 不 发 怨 言 。      [kjv]  Use hospitality one to another without grudging.     [bbe]  Keep open house for all with a glad heart; 4:10 [hgb]  各 人 要 照 所 得 的 恩 赐 彼 此 服 事 ， 作 神 百 般 恩 赐 的 好 管 家 。      [kjv]  As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.     [bbe]  Making distribution among one another of whatever has been given to you, like true servants of the unmeasured grace of God; 4:11 [hgb]  若 有 讲 道 的 ， 要 按 着 神 的 圣 言 讲 。 若 有 服 事 人 的 ， 要 按 着 神 所 赐 的 力 量 服 事 。 叫 神 在 凡 事 上 因 耶 稣 基 督 得 荣 耀 。 原 来 荣 耀 权 能 都 是 他 的 ， 直 到 永 永 远 远 。 阿 们 。      [kjv]  If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.     [bbe]  If anyone has anything to say, let it be as the words of God; if anyone has the desire to be the servant of others, let him do it in the strength which is given by God; so that in all things God may have the glory through Jesus Christ, whose are the glory and the power for ever. 4:12 [hgb]  亲 爱 的 弟 兄 阿 ， 有 火 炼 的 试 验 临 到 你 们 ， 不 要 以 为 奇 怪 ， （ 似 乎 是 遭 遇 非 常 的 事 ）      [kjv]  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:     [bbe]  Dear brothers, do not be surprised, as if it was something strange, if your faith is tested as by fire: 4:13 [hgb]  倒 要 欢 喜 。 因 为 你 们 是 与 基 督 一 同 受 苦 ， 使 你 们 在 他 荣 耀 显 现 的 时 候 ， 也 可 以 欢 喜 快 乐 。      [kjv]  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.     [bbe]  But be glad that you are given a part in the pains of Christ; so that at the revelation of his glory you may have great joy. 4:14 [hgb]  你 们 若 为 基 督 的 名 受 辱 骂 ， 便 是 有 福 的 。 因 为 神 荣 耀 的 灵 ， 常 住 在 你 们 身 上 。      [kjv]  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.     [bbe]  If men say evil things of you because of the name of Christ, happy are you; for the Spirit of glory and of God is resting on you. 4:15 [hgb]  你 们 中 间 却 不 可 有 人 ， 因 为 杀 人 ， 偷 窃 ， 作 恶 ， 好 管 闲 事 而 受 苦 。      [kjv]  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.     [bbe]  Let no one among you undergo punishment as a taker of life, or as a thief, or as an evil-doer, or as one who is over-interested in other men's business; 4:16 [hgb]  若 为 作 基 督 徒 受 苦 ， 却 不 要 羞 耻 。 倒 要 因 这 名 归 荣 耀 给 神 。      [kjv]  Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.     [bbe]  But if he undergoes punishment as a Christian, that is no shame to him; let him give glory to God in this name. 4:17 [hgb]  因 为 时 候 到 了 ， 审 判 要 从 神 的 家 起 首 。 若 是 先 从 我 们 起 首 ， 那 不 信 从 神 福 音 的 人 ， 将 有 何 等 的 结 局 呢 ？      [kjv]  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?     [bbe]  For the time has come for the judging, starting with the church of God; but if it makes a start with us, what will be the end of those who are not under the rule of God? 4:18 [hgb]  若 是 义 人 仅 仅 得 救 ， 那 不 虔 敬 和 犯 罪 的 人 ， 将 有 何 地 可 站 呢 ？      [kjv]  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?     [bbe]  And if it is hard for even the good man to get salvation, what chance has the man without religion or the sinner? 4:19 [hgb]  所 以 那 照 神 旨 意 受 苦 的 人 ， 要 一 心 为 善 ， 将 自 己 灵 魂 交 与 那 信 实 的 造 化 之 主 。      [kjv]  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.     [bbe]  For this reason let those who by the purpose of God undergo punishment, keep on in well-doing and put their souls into the safe hands of their Maker. 
Chapter 5
5:1 [hgb]  我 这 作 长 老 ， 作 基 督 受 苦 的 见 证 ， 同 享 后 来 所 要 显 现 之 荣 耀 的 ， 劝 你 们 中 间 与 我 同 作 长 老 的 人 。      [kjv]  The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:     [bbe]  I who am myself one of the rulers of the church, and a witness of the death of Christ, having my part in the coming glory, send this serious request to the chief men among you: 5:2 [hgb]  务 要 牧 养 在 你 们 中 间 神 的 群 羊 ， 按 着 神 旨 意 照 管 他 们 。 不 是 出 于 勉 强 ， 乃 是 出 于 甘 心 。 也 不 是 因 为 贪 财 ， 乃 是 出 于 乐 意 。      [kjv]  Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;     [bbe]  Keep watch over the flock of God which is in your care, using your authority, not as forced to do so, but gladly; and not for unclean profit but with a ready mind; 5:3 [hgb]  也 不 是 辖 制 所 托 付 你 们 的 ， 乃 是 作 群 羊 的 榜 样 。      [kjv]  Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.     [bbe]  Not as lords over God's heritage, but making yourselves examples to the flock. 5:4 [hgb]  到 了 牧 长 显 现 的 时 候 ， 你 们 必 得 那 永 不 衰 残 的 荣 耀 冠 冕 。      [kjv]  And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.     [bbe]  And at the coming of the chief Keeper of the sheep, you will be given the eternal crown of glory. 5:5 [hgb]  你 们 年 幼 的 ， 也 要 顺 服 年 长 的 。 就 是 你 们 众 人 ， 也 都 要 以 谦 卑 束 腰 ， 彼 此 顺 服 。 因 为 神 阻 挡 骄 傲 的 人 ， 赐 恩 给 谦 卑 的 人 。      [kjv]  Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.     [bbe]  And in the same way, let the younger men be ruled by the older ones. Let all of you put away pride and make yourselves ready to be servants: for God is a hater of pride, but he gives grace to those who make themselves low. 5:6 [hgb]  所 以 你 们 要 自 卑 ， 服 在 神 大 能 的 手 下 ， 到 了 时 候 他 必 叫 你 们 升 高 。      [kjv]  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:     [bbe]  For this cause make yourselves low under the strong hand of God, so that when the time comes you may be lifted up; 5:7 [hgb]  你 们 要 将 一 切 的 忧 虑 卸 给 神 ， 因 为 他 顾 念 你 们 。      [kjv]  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.     [bbe]  Putting all your troubles on him, for he takes care of you. 5:8 [hgb]  务 要 谨 守 ， 儆 醒 。 因 为 你 们 的 仇 敌 魔 鬼 ， 如 同 吼 叫 的 狮 子 ， 遍 地 游 行 ， 寻 找 可 吞 吃 的 人 。      [kjv]  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:     [bbe]  Be serious and keep watch; the Evil One, who is against you, goes about like a lion with open mouth in search of food; 5:9 [hgb]  你 们 要 用 坚 固 的 信 心 抵 挡 他 ， 因 为 知 道 你 们 在 世 上 的 众 弟 兄 ， 也 是 经 历 这 样 的 苦 难 。      [kjv]  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.     [bbe]  Do not give way to him but be strong in your faith, in the knowledge that your brothers who are in the world undergo the same troubles. 5:10 [hgb]  那 赐 诸 般 恩 典 的 神 ， 曾 在 基 督 里 召 你 们 ， 得 享 他 永 远 的 荣 耀 ， 等 你 们 暂 受 苦 难 之 后 ， 必 要 亲 自 成 全 你 们 ， 坚 固 你 们 ， 赐 力 量 给 你 们 。      [kjv]  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.     [bbe]  And after you have undergone pain for a little time, the God of all grace who has given you a part in his eternal glory through Christ Jesus, will himself give you strength and support, and make you complete in every good thing; 5:11 [hgb]  愿 权 能 归 给 他 ， 直 到 永 永 远 远 。 阿 们 。      [kjv]  To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.     [bbe]  His is the power for ever. So be it. 5:12 [hgb]  我 略 略 地 写 了 这 信 ， 托 我 所 看 为 忠 心 的 兄 弟 西 拉 转 交 你 们 ， 劝 勉 你 们 ， 又 证 明 这 恩 是 神 的 真 恩 。 你 们 务 要 在 这 恩 上 站 立 得 住 。      [kjv]  By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
