Chapter 1 1:1 [hgb] 论 到 从 起 初 原 有 的 生 命 之 道 ， 就 是 我 们 所 听 见 所 看 见 ， 亲 眼 看 过 ， 亲 手 摸 过 的 。 [kjv] That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; [bbe] That which was from the first, which has come to our ears, and which we have seen with our eyes, looking on it and touching it with our hands, about the Word of life 1:2 [hgb] （ 这 生 命 已 经 显 现 出 来 ， 我 们 也 看 见 过 ， 现 在 又 作 见 证 ， 将 原 与 父 同 在 ， 且 显 现 与 我 们 那 永 远 的 生 命 ， 传 给 你 们 ） 。 [kjv] (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) [bbe] (And the life was made clear to us, and we have seen it and are witnessing to it and giving you word of that eternal life which was with the Father and was seen by us); 1:3 [hgb] 我 们 将 所 看 见 ， 所 听 见 的 ， 传 给 你 们 ， 使 你 们 与 我 们 相 交 。 我 们 乃 是 与 父 并 他 儿 子 耶 稣 基 督 相 交 的 。 [kjv] That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. [bbe] We give you word of all we have seen and everything which has come to our ears, so that you may be united with us; and we are united with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ: 1:4 [hgb] 我 们 将 这 些 话 写 给 你 们 ， 使 你 们 （ 有 古 卷 作 我 们 ） 的 喜 乐 充 足 。 [kjv] And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. [bbe] And we are writing these things to you so that our joy may be made complete. 1:5 [hgb] 神 就 是 光 ， 在 他 毫 无 黑 暗 。 这 是 我 们 从 主 所 听 见 ， 又 报 给 你 们 的 信 息 。 [kjv] This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. [bbe] This is the word which came to us from him and which we give to you, that God is light and in him there is nothing dark. 1:6 [hgb] 我 们 若 说 是 与 神 相 交 ， 却 仍 在 黑 暗 里 行 ， 就 是 说 谎 话 ， 不 行 真 理 了 。 [kjv] If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: [bbe] If we say we are joined to him, and are walking still in the dark, our words are false and our acts are untrue: 1:7 [hgb] 我 们 若 在 光 明 中 行 ， 如 同 神 在 光 明 中 ， 就 彼 此 相 交 ， 他 儿 子 耶 稣 的 血 也 洗 净 我 们 一 切 的 罪 。 [kjv] But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. [bbe] But if we are walking in the light, as he is in the light, we are all united with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son makes us clean from all sin. 1:8 [hgb] 我 们 若 说 自 己 无 罪 ， 便 是 自 欺 ， 真 理 不 在 我 们 心 里 了 。 [kjv] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [bbe] If we say that we have no sin, we are false to ourselves and there is nothing true in us. 1:9 [hgb] 我 们 若 认 自 己 的 罪 ， 神 是 信 实 的 ， 是 公 义 的 ， 必 要 赦 免 我 们 的 罪 ， 洗 净 我 们 一 切 的 不 义 。 [kjv] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [bbe] If we say openly that we have done wrong, he is upright and true to his word, giving us forgiveness of sins and making us clean from all evil. 1:10 [hgb] 我 们 若 说 自 己 没 有 犯 过 罪 ， 便 是 以 神 为 说 谎 的 。 他 的 道 也 不 在 我 们 心 里 了 。 [kjv] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. [bbe] If we say that we have no sin, we make him false and his word is not in us. Chapter 2 2:1 [hgb] 我 小 子 们 哪 ， 我 将 这 些 话 写 给 你 们 ， 是 要 叫 你 们 不 犯 罪 。 若 有 人 犯 罪 ， 在 父 那 里 我 们 有 一 位 中 保 ， 就 是 那 义 者 耶 稣 基 督 。 [kjv] My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: [bbe] My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may be without sin. And if any man is a sinner, we have a friend and helper with the Father, Jesus Christ, the upright one: 2:2 [hgb] 他 为 我 们 的 罪 作 了 挽 回 祭 。 不 是 单 为 我 们 的 罪 ， 也 是 为 普 天 下 人 的 罪 。 [kjv] And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. [bbe] He is the offering for our sins; and not for ours only, but for all the world. 2:3 [hgb] 我 们 若 遵 守 他 的 诫 命 ， 就 晓 得 是 认 识 他 。 [kjv] And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. [bbe] And by this we may be certain that we have knowledge of him, if we keep his laws. 2:4 [hgb] 人 若 说 我 认 识 他 ， 却 不 遵 守 他 的 诫 命 ， 便 是 说 谎 话 的 。 真 理 也 不 在 他 心 里 了 。 [kjv] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [bbe] The man who says, I have knowledge of him, and does not keep his laws, is false, and there is nothing true in him: 2:5 [hgb] 凡 遵 守 主 道 的 ， 爱 神 的 心 在 他 里 面 实 在 是 完 全 的 ， 从 此 我 们 知 道 我 们 是 在 主 里 面 。 [kjv] But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. [bbe] But in every man who keeps his word, the love of God is made complete. By this we may be certain that we are in him: 2:6 [hgb] 人 若 说 他 住 在 主 里 面 ， 就 该 自 己 照 主 所 行 的 去 行 。 [kjv] He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. [bbe] He who says that he is living in him, will do as he did. 2:7 [hgb] 亲 爱 的 弟 兄 阿 ， 我 写 给 你 们 的 ， 不 是 一 条 新 命 令 ， 乃 是 你 们 从 起 初 所 受 的 旧 命 令 。 这 旧 命 令 就 是 你 们 所 听 见 的 道 。 [kjv] Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. [bbe] My loved ones, I do not give you a new law, but an old law which you had from the first; this old law is the word which came to your ears. 2:8 [hgb] 再 者 ， 我 写 给 你 们 的 ， 是 一 条 新 命 令 ， 在 主 是 真 的 ， 在 你 们 也 是 真 的 。 因 为 黑 暗 渐 渐 过 去 ， 真 光 已 经 照 耀 。 [kjv] Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. [bbe] Again, I give you a new law, which is true in him and in you; for the night is near its end and the true light is even now shining out. 2:9 [hgb] 人 若 说 自 己 在 光 明 中 。 却 恨 他 的 弟 兄 ， 他 到 如 今 还 是 在 黑 暗 里 。 [kjv] He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. [bbe] He who says that he is in the light, and has hate in his heart for his brother, is still in the dark. 2:10 [hgb] 爱 弟 兄 的 就 是 住 在 光 明 中 ， 在 他 并 没 有 绊 跌 的 缘 由 。 [kjv] He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. [bbe] He who has love for his brother is in the light, and there is no cause of error in him. 2:11 [hgb] 惟 独 恨 弟 兄 的 是 在 黑 暗 里 ， 且 在 黑 暗 里 行 ， 也 不 知 道 往 哪 里 去 ， 因 为 黑 暗 叫 他 眼 睛 瞎 了 。 [kjv] But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. [bbe] But he who has hate for his brother is in the dark, walking in the dark with no knowledge of where he is going, unable to see because of the dark. 2:12 [hgb] 小 子 们 哪 ， 我 写 信 给 你 们 ， 因 为 你 们 的 罪 借 着 主 名 得 了 赦 免 。 [kjv] I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. [bbe] I am writing to you, my children, because you have forgiveness of sins through his name. 2:13 [hgb] 父 老 阿 ， 我 写 信 给 你 们 ， 因 为 你 们 认 识 那 从 起 初 原 有 的 。 少 年 人 哪 ， 我 写 信 给 你 们 ， 因 为 你 们 胜 了 那 恶 者 。 小 子 们 哪 ， 我 曾 写 信 给 你 们 ， 因 为 你 们 认 识 父 。 [kjv] I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. [bbe] I am writing to you, fathers, because you have knowledge of him who was from the first. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the Evil One. I have sent a letter to you, children, because you have knowledge of the Father. 2:14 [hgb] 父 老 阿 ， 我 曾 写 信 给 你 们 ， 因 为 你 们 认 识 那 从 起 初 原 有 的 。 少 年 人 哪 ， 我 曾 写 信 给 你 们 ， 因 为 你 们 刚 强 ， 神 的 道 常 存 在 你 们 心 里 ， 你 们 也 胜 了 那 恶 者 。 [kjv] I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. [bbe] I have sent a letter to you, fathers, because you have knowledge of him who was from the first. I have sent a letter to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God is in you, and because you have overcome the Evil One. 2:15 [hgb] 不 要 爱 世 界 ， 和 世 界 上 的 事 。 人 若 爱 世 界 ， 爱 父 的 心 就 不 在 他 里 面 了 。 [kjv] Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [bbe] Have no love for the world or for the things which are in the world. If any man has love for the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 2:16 [hgb] 因 为 凡 世 界 上 的 事 ， 就 像 肉 体 的 情 欲 ， 眼 目 的 情 欲 ， 并 今 生 的 骄 傲 ， 都 不 是 从 父 来 的 ， 乃 是 从 世 界 来 的 。 [kjv] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [bbe] Because everything in the world, the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but of the world. 2:17 [hgb] 这 世 界 ， 和 其 上 的 情 欲 ， 都 要 过 去 。 惟 独 遵 行 神 旨 意 的 ， 是 永 远 常 存 。 [kjv] And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. [bbe] And the world and its desires is coming to an end: but he who does God's pleasure is living for ever. 2:18 [hgb] 小 子 们 哪 ， 如 今 是 末 时 了 。 你 们 曾 听 见 说 ， 那 敌 基 督 的 要 来 现 在 已 经 有 好 些 敌 基 督 的 出 来 了 。 从 此 我 们 就 知 道 如 今 是 末 时 了 。 [kjv] Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. [bbe] Little children, it is the last hour; and as you were given word that the Antichrist would come, so now a number of Antichrists have come to you; and by this we are certain that it is the last hour. 2:19 [hgb] 他 们 从 我 们 中 间 出 去 ， 却 不 是 属 我 们 的 。 若 是 属 我 们 的 ， 就 必 仍 旧 与 我 们 同 在 。 他 们 出 去 ， 显 明 都 不 是 属 我 们 的 。 [kjv] They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. [bbe] They went out from us but they were not of us; if they had been of us they would still be with us: but they went out from us so that it might be made clear that they were not of us. 2:20 [hgb] 你 们 从 那 圣 者 受 了 恩 膏 ， 并 且 知 道 这 一 切 的 事 。 （ 或 作 都 有 知 识 ） [kjv] But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. [bbe] And you have the Spirit from the Holy One and you all have knowledge. 2:21 [hgb] 我 写 信 给 你 们 ， 不 是 因 你 们 不 知 道 真 理 ， 正 是 因 你 们 知 道 ， 并 且 知 道 没 有 虚 谎 是 从 真 理 出 来 的 。 [kjv] I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. [bbe] I have not sent you this letter because you have no knowledge of what is true, but because you have knowledge, and because that which is false has nothing in common with that which is true. 2:22 [hgb] 谁 是 说 谎 话 的 呢 ？ 不 是 那 不 认 耶 稣 为 基 督 的 吗 ？ 不 认 父 与 子 的 ， 这 就 是 敌 基 督 的 。 [kjv] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. [bbe] Who is false but he who says that Jesus is not the Christ? He is the Antichrist who has no belief in the Father or the Son. 2:23 [hgb] 凡 不 认 子 的 就 没 有 父 。 认 子 的 连 父 也 有 了 。 [kjv] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. [bbe] He who has no belief in the Son has not the Father: he who makes clear his belief in the Son has the Father. 2:24 [hgb] 论 到 你 们 ， 务 要 将 那 从 起 初 所 听 见 的 常 存 在 心 里 。 若 将 从 起 初 所 听 见 的 存 在 心 里 ， 你 们 就 必 住 在 子 里 面 ， 也 必 住 在 父 里 面 。 [kjv] Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. [bbe] But as for you, keep in your hearts the things which were made clear to you from the first. If you keep these things in your hearts you will be kept in the Father and the Son. 2:25 [hgb] 主 所 应 许 我 们 的 就 是 永 生 。 [kjv] And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. [bbe] And this is the hope which he gave you, even eternal life. 2:26 [hgb] 我 将 这 些 话 写 给 你 们 ， 是 指 着 那 引 诱 你 们 的 人 说 的 。 [kjv] These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. [bbe] I am writing these things to you about those whose purpose is that you may be turned out of the true way. 2:27 [hgb] 你 们 从 主 所 受 的 恩 膏 ， 常 存 在 你 们 心 里 ， 并 不 用 人 教 训 你 们 。 自 有 主 的 恩 膏 在 凡 事 上 教 训 你 们 。 这 恩 膏 是 真 的 ， 不 是 假 的 。 你 们 要 按 这 恩 膏 的 教 训 ， 住 在 主 里 面 。 [kjv] But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. [bbe] As for you, the Spirit which he gave you is still in you, and you have no need of any teacher; but as his Spirit gives you teaching about all things, and is true and not false, so keep your hearts in him, through the teaching which he has given you. 2:28 [hgb] 小 子 们 哪 ， 你 们 要 住 在 主 里 面 。 这 样 ， 他 若 显 现 ， 我 们 就 可 以 坦 然 无 惧 。 当 他 来 的 时 候 ， 在 他 面 前 也 不 至 于 惭 愧 。 [kjv] And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. [bbe] And now, my children, keep your hearts in him; so that at his revelation, we may have no fear or shame before him at his coming. 2:29 [hgb] 你 们 若 知 道 他 是 公 义 的 ， 就 知 道 凡 行 公 义 之 人 都 是 他 所 生 的 。 [kjv] If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. [bbe] If you have knowledge that he is upright, it is clear to you that everyone who does righteousness is his offspring. Chapter 3 3:1 [hgb] 你 看 父 赐 给 我 们 是 何 等 的 慈 爱 ， 使 我 们 得 称 为 神 的 儿 女 。 我 们 也 真 是 他 的 儿 女 。 世 人 所 以 不 认 识 我 们 ， 是 因 未 曾 认 识 他 。 [kjv] Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. [bbe] See what great love the Father has given us in naming us the children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not see who we are, because it did not see who he was. 3:2 [hgb] 亲 爱 的 弟 兄 阿 ， 我 们 现 在 是 神 的 儿 女 ， 将 来 如 何 ， 还 未 显 明 。 但 我 们 知 道 主 若 显 现 ， 我 们 必 要 像 他 。 因 为 必 得 见 他 的 真 体 。 [kjv] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. [bbe] My loved ones, now we are children of God, and at present it is not clear what we are to be. We are certain that at his revelation we will be like him; for we will see him as he is. 3:3 [hgb] 凡 向 他 有 这 指 望 的 ， 就 洁 净 自 己 ， 像 他 洁 净 一 样 。 [kjv] And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. [bbe] And everyone who has this hope in him makes himself holy, even as he is holy. 3:4 [hgb] 凡 犯 罪 的 ， 就 是 违 背 律 法 。 违 背 律 法 就 是 罪 。 [kjv] Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. [bbe] Everyone who is a sinner goes against the law, for sin is going against the law. 3:5 [hgb] 你 们 知 道 主 曾 显 现 ， 是 要 除 掉 人 的 罪 。 在 他 并 没 有 罪 。 [kjv] And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. [bbe] And you have knowledge that he came to take away sin: and in him there is no sin. 3:6 [hgb] 凡 住 在 他 里 面 的 ， 就 不 犯 罪 。 凡 犯 罪 的 ， 是 未 曾 看 见 他 ， 也 未 曾 认 识 他 。 [kjv] Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. [bbe] Anyone who is in him does no sin; anyone who is a sinner has not seen him and has no knowledge of him. 3:7 [hgb] 小 子 们 哪 ， 不 要 被 人 诱 惑 ， 行 义 的 才 是 义 人 。 正 如 主 是 义 的 一 样 。 [kjv] Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. [bbe] My little children, let no man take you out of the true way: he who does righteousness is upright, even as he is upright; 3:8 [hgb] 犯 罪 的 是 属 魔 鬼 ， 因 为 魔 鬼 从 起 初 就 犯 罪 。 神 的 儿 子 显 现 出 来 ， 为 要 除 灭 魔 鬼 的 作 为 。 [kjv] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [bbe] The sinner is a child of the Evil One; for the Evil One has been a sinner from the first. And the Son of God was seen on earth so that he might put an end to the works of the Evil One. 3:9 [hgb] 凡 从 神 生 的 就 不 犯 罪 ， 因 神 的 道 （ 原 文 作 种 ） 存 在 他 心 里 。 他 也 不 能 犯 罪 ， 因 为 他 是 由 神 生 的 。 [kjv] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. [bbe] Anyone who is a child of God does no sin, because he still has God's seed in him; he is not able to be a sinner, because God is his Father. 3:10 [hgb] 从 此 就 显 出 谁 是 神 的 儿 女 ， 谁 是 魔 鬼 的 儿 女 。 凡 不 行 义 的 ， 就 不 属 神 。 不 爱 弟 兄 的 也 是 如 此 。 [kjv] In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. [bbe] In this way it is clear who are the children of God and who are the children of the Evil One; anyone who does not do righteousness or who has no love for his brother, is not a child of God. 3:11 [hgb] 我 们 应 当 彼 此 相 爱 。 这 就 是 你 们 从 起 初 所 听 见 的 命 令 。 [kjv] For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. [bbe] Because this is the word which was given to you from the first, that we are to have love for one another; 3:12 [hgb] 不 可 像 该 隐 。 他 是 属 那 恶 者 ， 杀 了 他 的 兄 弟 。 为 什 么 杀 了 他 呢 ？ 因 自 己 的 行 为 是 恶 的 ， 兄 弟 的 行 为 是 善 的 。 [kjv] Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. [bbe] Not being of the Evil One like Cain, who put his brother to death. And why did he put him to death? Because his works were evil and his brother's works were good. 3:13 [hgb] 弟 兄 们 ， 世 人 若 恨 你 们 ， 不 要 以 为 希 奇 。 [kjv] Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. [bbe] Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world has no love for you. 3:14 [hgb] 我 们 因 为 爱 弟 兄 ， 就 晓 得 是 已 经 出 死 入 生 了 。 没 有 爱 心 的 ， 仍 住 在 死 中 。 [kjv] We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. [bbe] We are conscious that we have come out of death into life because of our love for the brothers. He who has no love is still in death. 3:15 [hgb] 凡 恨 他 弟 兄 的 ， 就 是 杀 人 的 。 你 们 晓 得 凡 杀 人 的 ， 没 有 永 生 存 在 他 里 面 。 [kjv] Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. [bbe] Anyone who has hate for his brother is a taker of life, and you may be certain that no taker of life has eternal life in him. 3:16 [hgb] 主 为 我 们 舍 命 ， 我 们 从 此 就 知 道 何 为 爱 。 我 们 也 当 为 弟 兄 舍 命 。 [kjv] Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. [bbe] In this we see what love is, because he gave his life for us; and it is right for us to give our lives for the brothers. 3:17 [hgb] 凡 有 世 上 财 物 的 ， 看 见 弟 兄 穷 乏 ， 却 塞 住 怜 恤 的 心 ， 爱 神 的 心 怎 能 存 在 他 里 面 呢 ？ [kjv] But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? [bbe] But if a man has this world's goods, and sees that his brother is in need, and keeps his heart shut against his brother, how is it possible for the love of God to be in him? 3:18 [hgb] 小 子 们 哪 ， 我 们 相 爱 ， 不 要 只 在 言 语 和 舌 头 上 。 总 要 在 行 为 和 诚 实 上 。 [kjv] My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. [bbe] My little children, do not let our love be in word and in tongue, but let it be in act and in good faith. 3:19 [hgb] 从 此 就 知 道 我 们 是 属 真 理 的 ， 并 且 我 们 的 心 在 神 面 前 可 以 安 稳 。 [kjv] And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. [bbe] In this way we may be certain that we are true, and may give our heart comfort before him, 3:20 [hgb] 我 们 的 心 若 责 备 我 们 ， 神 比 我 们 的 心 大 ， 一 切 事 没 有 不 知 道 的 。 [kjv] For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. [bbe] When our heart says that we have done wrong; because God is greater than our heart, and has knowledge of all things. 3:21 [hgb] 亲 爱 的 弟 兄 阿 ， 我 们 的 心 若 不 责 备 我 们 ， 就 可 以 向 神 坦 然 无 惧 了 。 [kjv] Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. [bbe] My loved ones, if our heart does not say that we have done wrong, we have no fear before him; 3:22 [hgb] 并 且 我 们 一 切 所 求 的 ， 就 从 他 得 着 。 因 为 我 们 遵 守 他 的 命 令 ， 行 他 所 喜 悦 的 事 。 [kjv] And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. [bbe] And he gives us all our requests, because we keep his laws and do the things which are pleasing in his eyes. 3:23 [hgb] 神 的 命 令 就 是 叫 我 们 信 他 儿 子 耶 稣 基 督 的 名 ， 且 照 他 所 赐 给 我 们 的 命 令 彼 此 相 爱 。 [kjv] And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. [bbe] And this is his law, that we have faith in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love for one another, even as he said to us. 3:24 [hgb] 遵 守 神 命 令 的 ， 就 住 在 神 里 面 。 神 也 住 在 他 里 面 。 我 们 所 以 知 道 神 住 在 我 们 里 面 ， 是 因 他 所 赐 给 我 们 的 圣 灵 。 [kjv] And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. [bbe] He who keeps his laws is in God and God is in him. And the Spirit which he gave us is our witness that he is in us. Chapter 4 4:1 [hgb] 亲 爱 的 弟 兄 阿 ， 一 切 的 灵 ， 你 们 不 可 都 信 。 总 要 试 验 那 些 灵 是 出 于 神 的 不 是 。 因 为 世 上 有 许 多 假 先 知 已 经 出 来 了 。 [kjv] Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. [bbe] My loved ones, do not put your faith in every spirit, but put them to the test, to see if they are from God: because a great number of false prophets have gone out into the world. 4:2 [hgb] 凡 灵 认 耶 稣 基 督 是 成 了 肉 身 来 的 ， 就 是 出 于 神 的 。 从 此 你 们 可 以 认 出 神 的 灵 来 。 [kjv] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: [bbe] By this you may have knowledge of the Spirit of God: every spirit which says that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God: 4:3 [hgb] 凡 灵 不 认 耶 稣 ， 就 不 是 出 于 神 。 这 是 那 敌 基 督 者 的 灵 。 你 们 从 前 听 见 他 要 来 。 现 在 已 经 在 世 上 了 。 [kjv] And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. [bbe] And every spirit which does not say this is not from God: this is the spirit of Antichrist, of which you have had word; and it is in the world even now. 4:4 [hgb] 小 子 们 哪 ， 你 们 是 属 神 的 ， 并 且 胜 了 他 们 。 因 为 那 在 你 们 里 面 的 ， 比 那 在 世 界 上 的 更 大 。 [kjv] Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. [bbe] You are of God, my little children, and you have overcome them because he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 4:5 [hgb] 他 们 是 属 世 界 的 。 所 以 论 世 界 的 事 ， 世 人 也 听 从 他 们 。 [kjv] They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. [bbe] They are of the world, so their talk is the world's talk, and the world gives ear to them. 4:6 [hgb] 我 们 是 属 神 的 。 认 识 神 的 就 听 从 我 们 。 不 属 神 的 就 不 听 从 我 们 。 从 此 我 们 可 以 认 出 真 理 的 灵 ， 和 谬 妄 的 灵 来 。 [kjv] We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. [bbe] We are of God: he who has the knowledge of God gives ear to us; he who is not of God does not give ear to us. By this we may see which is the true spirit, and which is the spirit of error. 4:7 [hgb] 亲 爱 的 弟 兄 阿 ， 我 们 应 当 彼 此 相 爱 。 因 为 爱 是 从 神 来 的 。 凡 有 爱 心 的 ， 都 是 由 神 而 生 ， 并 且 认 识 神 。 [kjv] Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. [bbe] My loved ones, let us have love for one another: because love is of God, and everyone who has love is a child of God and has knowledge of God. 4:8 [hgb] 没 有 爱 心 的 ， 就 不 认 识 神 。 因 为 神 就 是 爱 。 [kjv] He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. [bbe] He who has no love has no knowledge of God, because God is love. 4:9 [hgb] 神 差 他 独 生 子 到 世 间 来 ， 使 我 们 借 着 他 得 生 ， 神 爱 我 们 的 心 ， 在 此 就 显 明 了 。 [kjv] In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. [bbe] And the love of God was made clear to us when he sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him. 4:10 [hgb] 不 是 我 们 爱 神 ， 乃 是 神 爱 我 们 ， 差 他 的 儿 子 ， 为 我 们 的 罪 作 了 挽 回 祭 ， 这 就 是 爱 了 。 [kjv] Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. [bbe] And this is love, not that we had love for God, but that he had love for us, and sent his Son to be an offering for our sins. 4:11 [hgb] 亲 爱 的 弟 兄 阿 ， 神 既 是 这 样 爱 我 们 ， 我 们 也 当 彼 此 相 爱 。 [kjv] Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. [bbe] My loved ones, if God had such love for us, it is right for us to have love for one another. 4:12 [hgb] 从 来 没 有 人 见 过 神 。 我 们 若 彼 此 相 爱 ， 神 就 住 在 我 们 里 面 ， 爱 他 的 心 在 我 们 里 面 得 以 完 全 了 。 [kjv] No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. [bbe] No man has ever seen God: if we have love for one another, God is in us and his love is made complete in us: 4:13 [hgb] 神 将 他 的 灵 赐 给 我 们 ， 从 此 就 知 道 我 们 是 住 在 他 里 面 ， 他 也 住 在 我 们 里 面 。 [kjv] Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. [bbe] And his Spirit which he has given us is the witness that we are in him and he is in us. 4:14 [hgb] 父 差 子 作 世 人 的 救 主 ， 这 是 我 们 所 看 见 且 作 见 证 的 。 [kjv] And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. [bbe] And we have seen and give witness that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 4:15 [hgb] 凡 认 耶 稣 为 神 儿 子 的 ， 神 就 住 在 他 里 面 ， 他 也 住 在 神 里 面 。 [kjv] Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. [bbe] Everyone who says openly that Jesus is the Son of God, has God in him and is in God. 4:16 [hgb] 神 爱 我 们 的 心 ， 我 们 也 知 道 也 信 。 神 就 是 爱 。 住 在 爱 里 面 的 ， 就 是 住 在 神 里 面 ， 神 也 住 在 他 里 面 。 [kjv] And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. [bbe] And we have seen and had faith in the love which God has for us. God is love, and everyone who has love is in God, and God is in him. 4:17 [hgb] 这 样 爱 在 我 们 里 面 得 以 完 全 ， 我 们 就 可 以 在 审 判 的 日 子 ， 坦 然 无 惧 。 因 为 他 如 何 ， 我 们 在 这 世 上 也 如 何 。 [kjv] Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. [bbe] In this way love is made complete in us, so that we may be without fear on the day of judging, because as he is, so are we in this world. 4:18 [hgb] 爱 里 没 有 惧 怕 。 爱 既 完 全 ， 就 把 惧 怕 除 去 。 因 为 惧 怕 里 含 着 刑 罚 。 惧 怕 的 人 在 爱 里 未 得 完 全 。 [kjv] There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. [bbe] There is no fear in love: true love has no room for fear, because where fear is, there is pain; and he who is not free from fear is not complete in love. 4:19 [hgb] 我 们 爱 ， 因 为 神 先 爱 我 们 。 [kjv] We love him, because he first loved us. [bbe] We have the power of loving, because he first had love for us. 4:20 [hgb] 人 若 说 ， 我 爱 神 ， 却 恨 他 的 弟 兄 ， 就 是 说 谎 话 的 。 不 爱 他 所 看 见 的 弟 兄 ， 就 不 能 爱 没 有 看 见 的 神 。 （ 有 古 卷 作 怎 能 爱 没 有 看 见 的 神 呢 ） 。 [kjv] If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? [bbe] If a man says, I have love for God, and has hate for his brother, his words are false: for how is the man who has no love for his brother whom he has seen, able to have love for God whom he has not seen? 4:21 [hgb] 爱 神 的 ， 也 当 爱 弟 兄 ， 这 是 我 们 从 神 所 受 的 命 令 。 [kjv] And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. [bbe] And this is the word which we have from him, that he who has love for God is to have the same love for his brother. Chapter 5 5:1 [hgb] 凡 信 耶 稣 是 基 督 的 ， 都 是 从 神 而 生 。 凡 爱 生 他 之 神 的 ， 也 必 爱 从 神 生 的 。 [kjv] Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. [bbe] Everyone who has faith that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God: and everyone who has love for the Father has love for his child. 5:2 [hgb] 我 们 若 爱 神 ， 又 遵 守 他 的 诫 命 ， 从 此 就 知 道 我 们 爱 神 的 儿 女 。 [kjv] By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. [bbe] In this way, we are certain that we have love for the children of God, when we have love for God and keep his laws. 5:3 [hgb] 我 们 遵 守 神 的 诫 命 ， 这 就 是 爱 他 了 。 并 且 他 的 诫 命 不 是 难 守 的 。 [kjv] For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. [bbe] For loving God is keeping his laws: and his laws are not hard. 5:4 [hgb] 因 为 凡 从 神 生 的 ， 就 胜 过 世 界 。 使 我 们 胜 了 世 界 的 ， 就 是 我 们 的 信 心 。 [kjv] For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. [bbe] Anything which comes from God is able to overcome the world: and the power by which we have overcome the world is our faith. 5:5 [hgb] 胜 过 世 界 的 是 谁 呢 ？ 不 是 那 信 耶 稣 是 神 儿 子 的 吗 ？ [kjv] Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? [bbe] Who is able to overcome the world but the man who has faith that Jesus is the Son of God? 5:6 [hgb] 这 借 着 水 和 血 而 来 的 就 是 耶 稣 基 督 。 不 是 单 用 水 ， 乃 是 用 水 又 用 血 。 [kjv] This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. [bbe] This is he who came by water and by blood, Jesus Christ; not by water only but by water and by blood. 5:7 [hgb] 并 且 有 圣 灵 作 见 证 ， 因 为 圣 灵 就 是 真 理 。 [kjv] For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. [bbe] And the Spirit is the witness, because the Spirit is true. 5:8 [hgb] 作 见 证 的 原 来 有 三 ， 就 是 圣 灵 ， 水 ， 与 血 。 这 三 样 也 都 归 于 一 。 [kjv] And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. [bbe] There are three witnesses, the Spirit, the water, and the blood: and all three are in agreement. 5:9 [hgb] 我 们 既 领 受 人 的 见 证 ， 神 的 见 证 更 该 领 受 了 。 （ 该 领 受 原 文 作 大 ） 。 因 神 的 见 证 ， 是 为 他 儿 子 作 的 。 [kjv] If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. [bbe] If we take the witness of men to be true, the witness of God is greater: because this is the witness which God has given about his Son. 5:10 [hgb] 信 神 儿 子 的 ， 就 有 这 见 证 在 他 心 里 。 不 信 神 的 ， 就 是 将 神 当 作 说 谎 的 。 因 不 信 神 为 他 儿 子 作 的 见 证 。 [kjv] He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. [bbe] He who has faith in the Son of God has the witness in himself: he who has not faith in God makes him false, because he has not faith in the witness which God has given about his Son. 5:11 [hgb] 这 见 证 ， 就 是 神 赐 给 我 们 永 生 ， 这 永 生 也 是 在 他 儿 子 里 面 。 [kjv] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [bbe] And his witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 5:12 [hgb] 人 有 了 神 的 儿 子 就 有 生 命 。 没 有 神 的 儿 子 就 没 有 生 命 。 [kjv] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [bbe] He who has the Son has the life; he who has not the Son of God has not the life. 5:13 [hgb] 我 将 这 些 话 写 给 你 们 信 奉 神 儿 子 之 名 的 人 ， 要 叫 你 们 知 道 自 己 有 永 生 。 [kjv] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. [bbe] I have put these things in writing for you who have faith in the name of the Son of God, so that you may be certain that you have eternal life. 5:14 [hgb] 我 们 若 照 他 的 旨 意 求 什 么 ， 他 就 听 我 们 。 这 是 我 们 向 他 所 存 坦 然 无 惧 的 心 。 [kjv] And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: [bbe] And we are certain that if we make any request to him which is right in his eyes, he will give ear to us: 5:15 [hgb] 既 然 知 道 他 听 我 们 一 切 所 求 的 ， 就 知 道 我 们 所 求 于 他 的 无 不 得 着 。 [kjv] And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. [bbe] And if we are certain that he gives ear to all our requests, we are equally certain that we will get our requests. 5:16 [hgb] 人 若 看 见 弟 兄 犯 了 不 至 于 死 的 罪 ， 就 当 为 他 祈 求 ， 神 必 将 生 命 赐 给 他 。 有 至 于 死 的 罪 ， 我 不 说 当 为 这 罪 祈 求 。 [kjv] If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. [bbe] If a man sees his brother doing a sin which is not bad enough for death, let him make a prayer to God, and God will give life to him whose sin was not bad enough for death. There is a sin whose punishment is death: I do not say that he may make such a request then. 5:17 [hgb] 凡 不 义 的 事 都 是 罪 。 也 有 不 至 于 死 的 罪 。 [kjv] All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. [bbe] All evil-doing is sin: but death is not the punishment for every sort of sin. 5:18 [hgb] 我 们 知 道 凡 从 神 生 的 必 不 犯 罪 。 从 神 生 的 必 保 守 自 己 ， （ 有 古 卷 作 那 从 神 生 的 必 保 护 他 ） ， 那 恶 者 也 就 无 法 害 他 。 [kjv] We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. [bbe] We are certain that one who is a child of God will do no sin, but the Son of God keeps him so that he is not touched by the Evil One. 5:19 [hgb] 我 们 知 道 我 们 是 属 神 的 ， 全 世 界 都 卧 在 那 恶 者 手 下 。 [kjv] And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. [bbe] We are certain that we are of God, but all the world is in the power of the Evil One. 5:20 [hgb] 我 们 也 知 道 神 的 儿 子 已 经 来 到 ， 且 将 智 慧 赐 给 我 们 ， 使 我 们 认 识 那 位 真 实 的 ， 我 们 也 在 那 位 真 实 的 里 面 ， 就 是 在 他 儿 子 耶 稣 基 督 里 面 。 这 是 真 神 ， 也 是 永 生 。 [kjv] And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. [bbe] And we are certain that the Son of God has come, and has given us a clear vision, so that we may see him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. 5:21 [hgb] 小 子 们 哪 ， 你 们 要 自 守 ， 远 避 偶 像 。 [kjv] Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. [bbe] My little children, keep yourselves from false gods.
