[kjv] Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign1, and reigned2 fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.
[bbe] Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king; for fifty-five years he was ruling in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Hephzi-bah.
21:2 [hgb] 玛 拿 西 行 耶 和 华 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 ， 效 法 耶 和 华 在 以 色 列 人 面 前 赶 出 的 外 邦 人 所 行 可 憎 的 事 。
[kjv] And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
[bbe] He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, copying the disgusting ways of those nations whom the Lord had sent out before the children of Israel.
21:3 [hgb] 重 新 建 筑 他 父 希 西 家 所 毁 坏 的 丘 坛 ， 又 为 巴 力 筑 坛 ， 作 亚 舍 拉 像 ， 效 法 以 色 列 王 亚 哈 所 行 的 ， 且 敬 拜 事 奉 天 上 的 万 象 。
[kjv] For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove3, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
[bbe] He put up again the high places which had been pulled down by Hezekiah his father; he made altars for Baal, and an Asherah, as Ahab, king of Israel, had done; he was a worshipper and servant of all the stars of heaven.
21:4 [hgb] 在 耶 和 华 殿 宇 中 筑 坛 。 耶 和 华 曾 指 着 这 殿 说 ， 我 必 立 我 的 名 在 耶 路 撒 冷 。
[kjv] And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
[bbe] And he put up altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
21:5 [hgb] 他 在 耶 和 华 殿 的 两 院 中 为 天 上 的 万 象 筑 坛 ，
[kjv] And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
[bbe] And he put up altars for all the stars of heaven in the two outer squares of the house of the Lord.
21:6 [hgb] 并 使 他 的 儿 子 经 火 ， 又 观 兆 ， 用 法 术 ， 立 交 鬼 的 和 行 巫 术 的 ， 多 行 耶 和 华 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 ， 惹 动 他 的 怒 气 。
[kjv] And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments4, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought5 much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
[bbe] And he made his son go through the fire, and made use of secret arts and signs for reading the future; he gave positions to those who had control of spirits and to wonder-workers; he did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, moving him to wrath6.
21:7 [hgb] 又 在 殿 内 立 雕 刻 的 亚 舍 拉 像 。 耶 和 华 曾 对 大 卫 和 他 儿 子 所 罗 门 说 ， 我 在 以 色 列 众 支 派 中 所 选 择 的 耶 路 撒 冷 和 这 殿 ， 必 立 我 的 名 ， 直 到 永 远 。
[kjv] And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
[bbe] He put the image of Asherah which he had made in the house of which the Lord had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, the town which I have made mine out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name for ever.
21:8 [hgb] 以 色 列 人 若 谨 守 遵 行 我 一 切 所 吩 咐 他 们 的 ， 和 我 仆 人 摩 西 所 吩 咐 他 们 的 一 切 律 法 ， 我 就 不 再 使 他 们 挪 移 离 开 我 所 赐 给 他 们 列 祖 之 地 。
[kjv] Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
[bbe] And never again will I send the feet of Israel wandering from the land which I gave to their fathers; if only they will take care to do all my orders, and keep all the law which my servant Moses gave them.
21:9 [hgb] 他 们 却 不 听 从 。 玛 拿 西 引 诱 他 们 行 恶 ， 比 耶 和 华 在 以 色 列 人 面 前 所 灭 的 列 国 更 甚 。
[kjv] But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced7 them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
[bbe] But they did not give ear; and Manasseh made them do more evil than those nations did, whom the Lord gave up to destruction before the children of Israel.
21:10 [hgb] 耶 和 华 借 他 仆 人 众 先 知 说 ，
[kjv] And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
[bbe] And the Lord said, by his servants the prophets,
21:11 [hgb] 因 犹 大 王 玛 拿 西 行 这 些 可 憎 的 恶 事 比 先 前 亚 摩 利 人 所 行 的 更 甚 ， 使 犹 大 人 拜 他 的 偶 像 ， 陷 在 罪 里 。
[kjv] Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols8:
[bbe] Because Manasseh, king of Judah, has done these disgusting things, doing more evil than all the Amorites before him, and making Judah do evil with his false gods,
21:12 [hgb] 所 以 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 如 此 说 ， 我 必 降 祸 与 耶 路 撒 冷 和 犹 大 ， 叫 一 切 听 见 的 人 无 不 耳 鸣 。
[kjv] Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold9, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle10.
[bbe] For this cause, says the Lord, the God of Israel, I will send such evil on Jerusalem and Judah that the ears of all to whom the news comes will be burning.
21:13 [hgb] 我 必 用 量 撒 玛 利 亚 的 准 绳 和 亚 哈 家 的 线 铊 拉 在 耶 路 撒 冷 上 ， 必 擦 净 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 如 人 擦 盘 ， 将 盘 倒 扣 。
[kjv] And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet11 of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
[bbe] And over Jerusalem will be stretched the line of Samaria and the weight of Ahab; Jerusalem will be washed clean as a plate is washed, and turned over on its face.
21:14 [hgb] 我 必 弃 掉 所 余 剩 的 子 民 （ 原 文 作 产 业 ） ， 把 他 们 交 在 仇 敌 手 中 ， 使 他 们 成 为 一 切 仇 敌 掳 掠 之 物 。
[kjv] And I will forsake12 the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey13 and a spoil to all their enemies;
[bbe] And I will put away from me the rest of my heritage, and give them up into the hands of their haters, who will take their property and their goods for themselves;
21:15 [hgb] 是 因 他 们 自 从 列 祖 出 埃 及 直 到 如 今 ， 常 行 我 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 ， 惹 动 我 的 怒 气 。
[kjv] Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth14 out of Egypt, even unto this day.
[bbe] Because they have done evil in my eyes, moving me to wrath, from the day when their fathers came out of Egypt till this day.
21:16 [hgb] 玛 拿 西 行 耶 和 华 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 ， 使 犹 大 人 陷 在 罪 里 ， 又 流 许 多 无 辜 人 的 血 ， 充 满 了 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 从 这 边 直 到 那 边 。
[kjv] Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
[bbe] More than this, Manasseh took the lives of upright men, till Jerusalem from one end to the other was full of blood; in addition to his sin in making Judah do evil in the eyes of the Lord.
21:17 [hgb] 玛 拿 西 其 余 的 事 ， 凡 他 所 行 的 和 他 所 犯 的 罪 都 写 在 犹 大 列 王 记 上 。
[kjv] Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
[bbe] Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all he did, and his sins, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Judah?
21:18 [hgb] 玛 拿 西 与 他 列 祖 同 睡 ， 葬 在 自 己 宫 院 乌 撒 的 园 内 。 他 儿 子 亚 们 接 续 他 作 王 。
[kjv] And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
[bbe] So Manasseh went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth in the garden of his house, in the garden of Uzza; and Amon his son became king in his place.
21:19 [hgb] 亚 们 登 基 的 时 候 年 二 十 二 岁 ， 在 耶 路 撒 冷 作 王 二 年 。 他 母 亲 名 叫 米 舒 利 密 ， 是 约 提 巴 人 哈 鲁 斯 的 女 儿 。
[kjv] Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
[bbe] Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king, ruling in Jerusalem for two years; his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
21:20 [hgb] 亚 们 行 耶 和 华 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 ， 与 他 父 亲 玛 拿 西 所 行 的 一 样 。
[kjv] And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.
[bbe] He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as Manasseh his father had done.
21:21 [hgb] 行 他 父 亲 一 切 所 行 的 ， 敬 奉 他 父 亲 所 敬 奉 的 偶 像 ，
[kjv] And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
[bbe] He went in all the ways of his father, being a servant and worshipper of the false gods to which his father had been a servant;
21:22 [hgb] 离 弃 耶 和 华 他 列 祖 的 神 ， 不 遵 行 耶 和 华 的 道 。
[kjv] And he forsook15 the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.
[bbe] Turning away from the Lord, the God of his fathers, and not walking in his ways.
21:23 [hgb] 亚 们 王 的 臣 仆 背 叛 他 ， 在 宫 里 杀 了 他 。
[kjv] And the servants of Amon conspired16 against him, and slew17 the king in his own house.
[bbe] And the servants of Amon made a secret design against him, and put the king to death in his house.
21:24 [hgb] 但 国 民 杀 了 那 些 背 叛 亚 们 王 的 人 ， 立 他 儿 子 约 西 亚 接 续 他 作 王 。
[kjv] And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
[bbe] But the people of the land put to death all those who had taken part in the design against the king, and made Josiah his son king in his place.
21:25 [hgb] 亚 们 其 余 所 行 的 事 都 写 在 犹 大 列 王 记 上 。
[kjv] Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
[bbe] Now the rest of the acts which Amon did, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Judah?
21:26 [hgb] 亚 们 葬 在 乌 撒 的 园 内 自 己 的 坟 墓 里 。 他 儿 子 约 西 亚 接 续 他 作 王 。
[kjv] And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
[bbe] He was put in his last resting-place in the garden of Uzza, and Josiah his son became king in his place.
