37:1 [hgb]  ( 大 卫 的 诗 。 ) 不 要 为 作 恶 的 , 心 怀 不 平 , 也 不 要 向 那 行 不 义 的 , 生 出 嫉 妒 。 
    [kjv]  Fret1 not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious2 against the workers of iniquity3.
    [bbe]  <Of David.> Do not be angry because of the wrongdoers, or have envy of the workers of evil.
37:2 [hgb]  因 为 他 们 如 草 快 被 割 下 , 又 如 青 菜 快 要 枯 干 。 
    [kjv]  For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither4 as the green herb.
    [bbe]  For they will quickly be cut down like grass, and become dry like the green plants.
37:3 [hgb]  你 当 倚 靠 耶 和 华 而 行 善 。 住 在 地 上 , 以 他 的 信 实 为 粮 。 
    [kjv]  Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
    [bbe]  Have faith in the Lord, and do good; be at rest in the land, and go after righteousness.
37:4 [hgb]  又 要 以 耶 和 华 为 乐 。 他 就 将 你 心 里 所 求 的 赐 给 你 。 
    [kjv]  Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
    [bbe]  So will your delight be in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.
37:5 [hgb]  当 将 你 的 事 交 托 耶 和 华 , 并 倚 靠 他 , 他 就 必 成 全 。 
    [kjv]  Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
    [bbe]  Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it.
37:6 [hgb]  他 要 使 你 的 公 义 , 如 光 发 出 , 使 你 的 公 平 , 明 如 正 午 。 
    [kjv]  And he shall bring forth5 thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment6 as the noonday.
    [bbe]  And he will make your righteousness be seen like the light, and your cause like the shining of the sun.
37:7 [hgb]  你 当 默 然 倚 靠 耶 和 华 , 耐 性 等 候 他 。 不 要 因 那 道 路 通 达 的 , 和 那 恶 谋 成 就 的 , 心 怀 不 平 。 
    [kjv]  Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
    [bbe]  Take your rest in the Lord, waiting quietly for him; do not be angry because of the man who does well in his evil ways, and gives effect to his bad designs.
37:8 [hgb]  当 止 住 怒 气 , 离 弃 忿 怒 。 不 要 心 怀 不 平 , 以 致 作 恶 。 
    [kjv]  Cease from anger, and forsake7 wrath8: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
    [bbe]  Put an end to your wrath and be no longer bitter; do not give way to angry feeling which is a cause of sin.
37:9 [hgb]  因 为 作 恶 的 , 必 被 剪 除 。 惟 有 等 候 耶 和 华 的 , 必 承 受 地 土 。 
    [kjv]  For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
    [bbe]  For the evil-doers will be cut off: but those who have faith in the Lord will have the earth for their heritage.
37:10 [hgb]  还 有 片 时 , 恶 人 要 归 于 无 有 。 你 就 是 细 察 他 的 住 处 , 也 要 归 于 无 有 。 
    [kjv]  For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently9 consider his place, and it shall not be.
    [bbe]  For in a short time the evil-doer will be gone: you will go searching for his place, and it will not be there.
37:11 [hgb]  但 谦 卑 人 必 承 受 地 土 , 以 丰 盛 的 平 安 为 乐 。 
    [kjv]  But the meek10 shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
    [bbe]  But the gentle will have the earth for their heritage; they will take their delight in peace without measure.
37:12 [hgb]  恶 人 设 谋 害 义 人 , 又 向 他 咬 牙 。 
    [kjv]  The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
    [bbe]  The sinner has evil designs against the upright, lifting up the voice of wrath against him.
37:13 [hgb]  主 要 笑 他 , 因 见 他 受 罚 的 日 子 将 要 来 到 。 
    [kjv]  The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
    [bbe]  He will be laughed at by the Lord, who sees that his day is coming.
37:14 [hgb]  恶 人 已 经 弓 上 弦 , 刀 出 鞘 , 要 打 倒 困 苦 穷 乏 的 人 , 要 杀 害 行 动 正 直 的 人 。 
    [kjv]  The wicked have drawn11 out the sword, and have bent12 their bow, to cast down the poor and needy13, and to slay14 such as be of upright conversation.
    [bbe]  The evil-doers have taken out their swords, their bows are bent; for crushing the poor, and to put to death those who are upright in their ways.
37:15 [hgb]  他 们 的 刀 , 必 刺 入 自 己 的 心 , 他 们 的 弓 , 必 被 折 断 。 
    [kjv]  Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
    [bbe]  But their swords will be turned into their hearts, and their bows will be broken.
37:16 [hgb]  一 个 义 人 所 有 的 虽 少 , 强 过 许 多 恶 人 的 富 余 。 
    [kjv]  A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
    [bbe]  The little which the good man has is better than the wealth of evil-doers.
37:17 [hgb]  因 为 恶 人 的 膀 臂 , 必 被 折 断 。 但 耶 和 华 是 扶 持 义 人 。 
    [kjv]  For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
    [bbe]  For the arms of the evil-doers will be broken: but the Lord is the support of the good.
37:18 [hgb]  耶 和 华 知 道 完 全 人 的 日 子 。 他 们 的 产 业 , 要 存 到 永 远 。 
    [kjv]  The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
    [bbe]  The days of the upright are numbered by the Lord, and their heritage will be for ever.
37:19 [hgb]  他 们 在 急 难 的 时 候 , 不 至 羞 愧 , 在 饥 荒 的 日 子 , 必 得 饱 足 。 
    [kjv]  They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
    [bbe]  They will not be shamed in the evil time, and in the days when all are in need of food they will have enough.
37:20 [hgb]  恶 人 却 要 灭 亡 。 耶 和 华 的 仇 敌 , 要 像 羊 羔 的 脂 油 。 ( 或 作 像 草 地 的 华 美 ) 他 们 要 消 灭 , 要 如 烟 消 灭 。 
    [kjv]  But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
    [bbe]  But the wrongdoers will come to destruction, and the haters of the Lord will be like the fat of lambs, they will be burned up; they will go up in smoke, and never again be seen.
37:21 [hgb]  恶 人 借 贷 而 不 偿 还 。 义 人 却 恩 待 人 , 并 且 施 舍 。 
    [kjv]  The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
    [bbe]  The sinner takes money and does not give it back; but the upright man has mercy, and gives to others.
37:22 [hgb]  蒙 耶 和 华 赐 福 的 , 必 承 受 地 土 。 被 他 咒 诅 的 , 必 被 剪 除 。 
    [kjv]  For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
    [bbe]  Those who have his blessing15 will have the earth for their heritage; but those who are cursed by him will be cut off.
37:23 [hgb]  义 人 的 脚 步 , 被 耶 和 华 立 定 。 他 的 道 路 , 耶 和 华 也 喜 爱 。 
    [kjv]  The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
    [bbe]  The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he takes delight in his way.
37:24 [hgb]  他 虽 失 脚 , 也 不 至 全 身 仆 倒 。 因 为 耶 和 华 用 手 搀 扶 他 。 ( 或 作 搀 扶 他 的 手 ) 
    [kjv]  Though he fall, he shall not be utterly16 cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
    [bbe]  Even if he has a fall he will not be without help: for the hand of the Lord is supporting him.
37:25 [hgb]  我 从 前 年 幼 , 现 在 年 老 , 却 未 见 过 义 人 被 弃 。 也 未 见 过 他 的 后 裔 讨 饭 。 
    [kjv]  I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken17, nor his seed begging bread.
    [bbe]  I have been young, and now am old, but I have not seen the good man without help, or his children looking for bread.
37:26 [hgb]  他 终 日 恩 待 人 , 借 给 人 。 他 的 后 裔 也 蒙 福 。 
    [kjv]  He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
    [bbe]  All the day he is ready to have mercy and to give; his children are a blessing.
37:27 [hgb]  你 当 离 恶 行 善 , 就 可 永 远 安 居 。 
    [kjv]  Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
    [bbe]  Be turned from evil, and do good; and your place will be for ever.
37:28 [hgb]  因 为 耶 和 华 喜 爱 公 平 , 不 撇 弃 他 的 圣 民 。 他 们 永 蒙 保 佑 。 但 恶 人 的 后 裔 , 必 被 剪 除 。 
    [kjv]  For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
    [bbe]  For the Lord is a lover of righteousness, and takes care of his saints; they will be kept safe for ever; but the seed of the evil-doers will be cut off.
37:29 [hgb]  义 人 必 承 受 地 土 , 永 居 其 上 。 
    [kjv]  The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
    [bbe]  The upright will have the earth for their heritage, and will go on living there for ever.
37:30 [hgb]  义 人 的 口 谈 论 智 慧 , 他 的 舌 头 讲 说 公 平 。 
    [kjv]  The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
    [bbe]  The mouth of the good man says words of wisdom; the talk of his tongue is of righteousness.
37:31 [hgb]  神 的 律 法 在 他 心 里 。 他 的 脚 总 不 滑 跌 。 
    [kjv]  The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
    [bbe]  The law of his God is in his heart; he will never make a false step.
37:32 [hgb]  恶 人 窥 探 义 人 , 想 要 杀 他 。 
    [kjv]  The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
    [bbe]  The sinners are watching the upright man, desiring to put him to death.
37:33 [hgb]  耶 和 华 必 不 撇 他 在 恶 人 手 中 , 当 审 判 的 时 候 , 也 不 定 他 的 罪 。 
    [kjv]  The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn18 him when he is judged.
    [bbe]  The Lord will not give him into their hands, or be against him when he is judged.
37:34 [hgb]  你 当 等 候 耶 和 华 , 遵 守 他 的 道 , 他 就 抬 举 你 , 使 你 承 受 地 土 。 恶 人 被 剪 除 的 时 候 , 你 必 看 见 。 
    [kjv]  Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt19 thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
    [bbe]  Be waiting for the Lord, and keep his way; and you will be lifted up, and have the land for your heritage: when the evil-doers are cut off, you will see it.
37:35 [hgb]  我 见 过 恶 人 大 有 势 力 , 好 像 一 根 青 翠 树 在 本 土 生 发 。 
    [kjv]  I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.
    [bbe]  I have seen the evil-doer in great power, covering the earth like a great tree.
37:36 [hgb]  有 人 从 那 里 经 过 , 不 料 , 他 没 有 了 。 我 也 寻 找 他 , 却 寻 不 着 。 
    [kjv]  Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
    [bbe]  But he came to an end, and there was no sign of him; I made a search for him and he was not there.
37:37 [hgb]  你 要 细 察 那 完 全 人 , 观 看 那 正 直 人 。 因 为 和 平 人 有 好 结 局 。 
    [kjv]  Mark the perfect man, and behold20 the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
    [bbe]  Give attention to the good man, and take note of the upright; because the end of that man is peace.
37:38 [hgb]  至 于 犯 法 的 人 , 必 一 同 灭 绝 。 恶 人 终 必 剪 除 。 
    [kjv]  But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
    [bbe]  But as for the sinners, they will be cut off together; the end of the wrongdoers is destruction.
37:39 [hgb]  但 义 人 得 救 , 是 由 于 耶 和 华 。 他 在 患 难 时 作 他 们 的 营 寨 。 
    [kjv]  But the salvation21 of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
    [bbe]  But the Lord is the saviour22 of the upright: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
37:40 [hgb]  耶 和 华 帮 助 他 们 , 解 救 他 们 。 他 解 救 他 们 脱 离 恶 人 , 把 他 们 救 出 来 , 因 为 他 们 投 靠 他 。 
    [kjv]  And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
    [bbe]  And the Lord will be their help, and keep them safe: he will take them out of the hands of the evil-doers, and be their saviour, because they had faith in him.
