[kjv] Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
[bbe] Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still shut up in the place of the armed watchmen, saying,
33:2 [hgb] 成 就 的 是 耶 和 华 ， 造 作 ， 为 要 建 立 的 也 是 耶 和 华 。 耶 和 华 是 他 的 名 。 他 如 此 说 ，
[kjv] Thus saith the LORD the maker1 thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
[bbe] These are the words of the Lord, who is doing it, the Lord who is forming it, to make it certain; the Lord is his name;
33:3 [hgb] 你 求 告 我 ， 我 就 应 允 你 ， 并 将 你 所 不 知 道 ， 又 大 又 难 的 事 指 示 你 。
[kjv] Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty2 things, which thou knowest not.
[bbe] Let your cry come to me, and I will give you an answer, and let you see great things and secret things of which you had no knowledge.
33:4 [hgb] 论 到 这 城 中 的 房 屋 和 犹 大 王 的 宫 室 ， 就 是 拆 毁 为 挡 敌 人 高 垒 和 刀 剑 的 ， 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 如 此 说 ，
[kjv] For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
[bbe] For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, has said about the houses of this town and the houses of the kings of Judah, which have been broken down to make earthworks and ...;
33:5 [hgb] 人 要 与 迦 勒 底 人 争 战 ， 正 是 拿 死 尸 充 满 这 房 屋 ， 就 是 我 在 怒 气 和 忿 怒 中 所 杀 的 人 ， 因 他 们 的 一 切 恶 ， 我 就 掩 面 不 顾 这 城 。
[kjv] They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain3 in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
[bbe] ... and to make them full of the dead bodies of men whom I have put to death in my wrath4 and in my passion, and because of whose evil-doing I have kept my face covered from this town.
33:6 [hgb] 看 哪 ， 我 要 使 这 城 得 以 痊 愈 安 舒 ， 使 城 中 的 人 得 医 治 ， 又 将 丰 盛 的 平 安 和 诚 实 显 明 与 他 们 。
[kjv] Behold5, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
[bbe] See, I will make it healthy and well again, I will even make them well; I will let them see peace and good faith in full measure.
33:7 [hgb] 我 也 要 使 犹 大 被 掳 的 和 以 色 列 被 掳 的 归 回 ， 并 建 立 他 们 和 起 初 一 样 。
[kjv] And I will cause the captivity6 of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
[bbe] And I will let the fate of Judah and of Israel be changed, building them up as at first.
33:8 [hgb] 我 要 除 净 他 们 的 一 切 罪 ， 就 是 向 我 所 犯 的 罪 。 又 要 赦 免 他 们 的 一 切 罪 ， 就 是 干 犯 我 ， 违 背 我 的 罪 。
[kjv] And I will cleanse7 them from all their iniquity8, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities9, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed10 against me.
[bbe] And I will make them clean from all their sin, with which they have been sinning against me; I will have forgiveness for all their sins, with which they have been sinning against me, and with which they have done evil against me.
33:9 [hgb] 这 城 要 在 地 上 万 国 人 面 前 使 我 得 颂 赞 ， 得 荣 耀 ， 名 为 可 喜 可 乐 之 城 。 万 国 人 因 听 见 我 向 这 城 所 赐 的 福 乐 ， 所 施 的 恩 惠 平 安 ， 就 惧 怕 战 兢 。
[kjv] And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure11 unto it.
[bbe] And this town will be to me for a name of joy, for a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth, who, hearing of all the good which I am doing for them, will be shaking with fear because of all the good and the peace which I am doing for it.
33:10 [hgb] 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 你 们 论 这 地 方 ， 说 是 荒 废 无 人 民 无 牲 畜 之 地 ， 但 在 这 荒 凉 无 人 民 无 牲 畜 的 犹 大 城 邑 和 耶 路 撒 冷 的 街 上 ，
[kjv] Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate12 without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
[bbe] This is what the Lord has said: There will again be sounding in this place, of which you say, It is a waste, without man and without beast; even in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem which are waste and unpeopled, without man and without beast,
33:11 [hgb] 必 再 听 见 有 欢 喜 和 快 乐 的 声 音 ， 新 郎 和 新 妇 的 声 音 ， 并 听 见 有 人 说 ， 要 称 谢 万 军 之 耶 和 华 ， 因 耶 和 华 本 为 善 。 他 的 慈 爱 永 远 长 存 。 又 有 奉 感 谢 祭 到 耶 和 华 殿 中 之 人 的 声 音 。 因 为 我 必 使 这 地 被 掳 的 人 归 回 ， 和 起 初 一 样 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。
[kjv] The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.
[bbe] Happy sounds, the voice of joy, the voice of the newly-married man and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who say, Give praise to the Lord of armies, for the Lord is good, for his mercy is unchanging for ever: the voices of those who go with praise into the house of the Lord. For I will let the land come back to its first condition, says the Lord.
33:12 [hgb] 万 军 之 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 在 这 荒 废 无 人 民 无 牲 畜 之 地 ， 并 其 中 所 有 的 城 邑 ， 必 再 有 牧 人 的 住 处 。 他 们 要 使 羊 群 躺 卧 在 那 里 。
[kjv] Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
[bbe] This is what the Lord of armies has said: Again there will be in this place, which is a waste, without man and without beast, and in all its towns, a resting-place where the keepers of sheep will make their flocks take rest.
33:13 [hgb] 在 山 地 的 城 邑 ， 高 原 的 城 邑 ， 南 地 的 城 邑 ， 便 雅 悯 地 ， 耶 路 撒 冷 四 围 的 各 处 ， 和 犹 大 的 城 邑 必 再 有 羊 群 从 数 点 的 人 手 下 经 过 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。
[kjv] In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD.
[bbe] In the towns of the hill-country, in the towns of the lowland, and in the towns of the South and in the land of Benjamin and in the country round Jerusalem and in the towns of Judah, the flocks will again go under the hand of him who is numbering them, says the Lord.
33:14 [hgb] 耶 和 华 说 ， 日 子 将 到 ， 我 应 许 以 色 列 家 和 犹 大 家 的 恩 言 必 然 成 就 。
[kjv] Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
[bbe] See, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will give effect to the good word which I have said about the people of Israel and the people of Judah.
33:15 [hgb] 当 那 日 子 ， 那 时 候 ， 我 必 使 大 卫 公 义 的 苗 裔 长 起 来 。 他 必 在 地 上 施 行 公 平 和 公 义 。
[kjv] In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment13 and righteousness in the land.
[bbe] In those days and at that time, I will let a Branch of righteousness come up for David; and he will be a judge in righteousness in the land.
33:16 [hgb] 在 那 日 子 犹 大 必 得 救 ， 耶 路 撒 冷 必 安 然 居 住 ， 他 的 名 必 称 为 耶 和 华 我 们 的 义 。
[kjv] In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
[bbe] In those days, Judah will have salvation14 and Jerusalem will be safe: and this is the name which will be given to her: The Lord is our righteousness.
33:17 [hgb] 因 为 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 大 卫 必 永 不 断 人 坐 在 以 色 列 家 的 宝 座 上 。
[kjv] For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
[bbe] For the Lord has said, David will never be without a man to take his place on the seat of the kingdom of Israel;
33:18 [hgb] 祭 司 ， 利 未 人 在 我 面 前 也 不 断 人 献 燔 祭 ， 烧 素 祭 ， 时 常 办 理 献 祭 的 事 。
[kjv] Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle15 meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
[bbe] And the priests and the Levites will never be without a man to come before me, offering burned offerings and perfumes and meal offerings and offerings of beasts at all times.
33:19 [hgb] 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 耶 利 米 说 ，
[kjv] And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,
[bbe] And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
33:20 [hgb] 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 你 们 若 能 废 弃 我 所 立 白 日 黑 夜 的 约 ， 使 白 日 黑 夜 不 按 时 轮 转 ，
[kjv] Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant16 of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
[bbe] The Lord has said: If it is possible for my agreement of the day and the night to be broken, so that day and night no longer come at their fixed17 times,
33:21 [hgb] 就 能 废 弃 我 与 我 仆 人 大 卫 所 立 的 约 ， 使 他 没 有 儿 子 在 他 的 宝 座 上 为 王 ， 并 能 废 弃 我 与 事 奉 我 的 祭 司 ， 利 未 人 所 立 的 约 。
[kjv] Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign18 upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
[bbe] Then my agreement with my servant David may be broken, so that he no longer has a son to take his place on the seat of the kingdom; and my agreement with the Levites, the priests, my servants.
33:22 [hgb] 天 上 的 万 象 不 能 数 算 ， 海 边 的 尘 沙 也 不 能 斗 量 。 我 必 照 样 使 我 仆 人 大 卫 的 后 裔 和 事 奉 我 的 利 未 人 多 起 来 。
[kjv] As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
[bbe] As it is not possible for the army of heaven to be numbered, or the sand of the sea measured, so will I make the seed of my servant David, and the Levites my servants.
33:23 [hgb] 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 耶 利 米 说 ，
[kjv] Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
[bbe] And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,
33:24 [hgb] 你 没 有 揣 摩 这 百 姓 的 话 吗 ？ 他 们 说 ， 耶 和 华 所 拣 选 的 二 族 ， 他 已 经 弃 绝 了 。 他 们 这 样 藐 视 我 的 百 姓 ， 以 为 不 再 成 国 。
[kjv] Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
[bbe] Have you taken note of what these people have said, The two families, which the Lord took for himself, he has given up? This they say, looking down on my people as being, in their eyes, no longer a nation.
33:25 [hgb] 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 若 是 我 立 白 日 黑 夜 的 约 不 能 存 住 ， 若 是 我 未 曾 安 排 天 地 的 定 例 ，
[kjv] Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances19 of heaven and earth;
[bbe] The Lord has said, If I have not made day and night, and if the limits of heaven and earth have not been fixed by me,
33:26 [hgb] 我 就 弃 绝 雅 各 的 后 裔 和 我 仆 人 大 卫 的 后 裔 ， 不 使 大 卫 的 后 裔 治 理 亚 伯 拉 罕 ， 以 撒 ， 雅 各 的 后 裔 。 因 为 我 必 使 他 们 被 掳 的 人 归 回 ， 也 必 怜 悯 他 们 。
[kjv] Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
[bbe] Then I will give up caring for the seed of Jacob and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will let their fate be changed and will have mercy on them.
