Chapter 3

3:1 [hgb]  以 色 列 人 哪 ， 你 们 全 家 是 我 从 埃 及 地 领 上 来 的 ， 当 听 耶 和 华 攻 击 你 们 的 话 。 
    [kjv]  Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
    [bbe]  Give ear to this word which the Lord has said against you, O children of Israel, against all the family which I took up out of the land of Egypt, saying,
3:2 [hgb]  在 地 上 万 族 中 ， 我 只 认 识 你 们 。 因 此 ， 我 必 追 讨 你 们 的 一 切 罪 孽 。 
    [kjv]  You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities¹.
    [bbe]  You only of all the families of the earth have I taken care of: for this reason I will send punishment on you for all your sins.
3:3 [hgb]  二 人 若 不 同 心 ， 岂 能 同 行 呢 ？ 
    [kjv]  Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
    [bbe]  Is it possible for two to go walking together, if not by agreement?
3:4 [hgb]  狮 子 若 非 抓 食 ， 岂 能 在 林 中 咆 哮 呢 ？ 少 壮 狮 子 若 无 所 得 ， 岂 能 从 洞 中 发 声 呢 ？ 
    [kjv]  Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey²? will a young lion cry out of his den³, if he have taken nothing?
    [bbe]  Will a lion give his loud cry in the woodland when no food is there? will the voice of the young lion be sounding from his hole if he has taken nothing?
3:5 [hgb]  若 没 有 机 槛 ， 雀 鸟 岂 能 陷 在 网 罗 里 呢 ？ 网 罗 若 无 所 得 ， 岂 能 从 地 上 翻 起 呢 ？ 
    [kjv]  Can a bird fall in a snare⁴ upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?
    [bbe]  Is it possible for a bird to be taken in a net on the earth where no net has been put for him? will the net come up from the earth if it has taken nothing at all?
3:6 [hgb]  城 中 若 吹 角 ， 百 姓 岂 不 惊 恐 呢 ？ 灾 祸 若 临 到 一 城 ， 岂 非 耶 和 华 所 降 的 吗 ？ 
    [kjv]  Shall a trumpet⁵ be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
    [bbe]  If the horn is sounded in the town will the people not be full of fear? will evil come on a town if the Lord has not done it?
3:7 [hgb]  主 耶 和 华 若 不 将 奥 秘 指 示 他 的 仆 人 众 先 知 ， 就 一 无 所 行 。 
    [kjv]  Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
    [bbe]  Certainly the Lord will do nothing without making clear his secret to his servants, the prophets.
3:8 [hgb]  狮 子 吼 叫 ， 谁 不 惧 怕 呢 ？ 主 耶 和 华 发 命 ， 谁 能 不 说 预 言 呢 ？ 
    [kjv]  The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy⁶?
    [bbe]  The cry of the lion is sounding; who will not have fear? The Lord God has said the word; is it possible for the prophet to keep quiet?
3:9 [hgb]  要 在 亚 实 突 的 宫 殿 中 ， 和 埃 及 地 的 宫 殿 里 ， 传 扬 说 ， 你 们 要 聚 集 在 撒 玛 利 亚 的 山 上 ， 就 看 见 城 中 有 何 等 大 的 扰 乱 与 欺 压 的 事 。 
    [kjv]  Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold⁷ the great tumults⁸ in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.
    [bbe]  Give out the news in the great houses of Assyria and in the land of Egypt, and say, Come together on the mountains of Samaria, and see what great outcries are there, and what cruel acts are done in it.
3:10 [hgb]  那 些 以 强 暴 抢 夺 财 物 ， 积 蓄 在 自 己 家 中 的 人 ， 不 知 道 行 正 直 的 事 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.
    [bbe]  For they have no knowledge of how to do what is right, says the Lord, who are storing up violent acts and destruction in their great houses.
3:11 [hgb]  所 以 主 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 敌 人 必 来 围 攻 这 地 ， 使 你 的 势 力 衰 微 ， 抢 掠 你 的 家 宅 。 
    [kjv]  Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary⁹ there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.
    [bbe]  For this reason, says the Lord, an attacker will come, shutting in the land on every side; and your strength will come down and your great houses will be made waste.
3:12 [hgb]  耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 牧 人 怎 样 从 狮 子 口 中 抢 回 两 条 羊 腿 或 半 个 耳 朵 ， 住 撒 玛 利 亚 的 以 色 列 人 躺 卧 在 床 角 上 ， 或 铺 绣 花 毯 的 榻 上 ， 他 们 得 救 也 不 过 如 此 。 
    [kjv]  Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.
    [bbe]  These are the words of the Lord: As the keeper of sheep takes out of the mouth of the lion two legs or part of an ear; so will the children of Israel be made safe, who are resting in Samaria on seats of honour or on the silk cushions of a bed.
3:13 [hgb]  主 耶 和 华 万 军 之 神 说 ， 当 听 这 话 ， 警 戒 雅 各 家 。 
    [kjv]  Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,
    [bbe]  Give ear now, and give witness against the family of Jacob, says the Lord God, the God of armies;
3:14 [hgb]  我 讨 以 色 列 罪 的 日 子 ， 也 要 讨 伯 特 利 祭 坛 的 罪 。 坛 角 必 被 砍 下 ， 坠 落 于 地 。 
    [kjv]  That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions¹⁰ of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.
    [bbe]  For in the day when I give Israel punishment for his sins, I will send punishment on the altars of Beth-el, and the horns of the altar will be cut off and come down to the earth.
3:15 [hgb]  我 要 拆 毁 过 冬 和 过 夏 的 房 屋 ， 象 牙 的 房 屋 也 必 毁 灭 ， 高 大 的 房 屋 都 归 无 有 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  And I will smite¹¹ the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD.
    [bbe]  And I will send destruction on the winter house with the summer house; the ivory houses will be falling down and the great houses will come to an end, says the Lord.

1 iniquities   

n.邪恶( iniquity的名词复数 )；极不公正
