    [kjv]  The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
    [bbe]  The word of the Lord which came to Micah the Morashtite, in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah: his vision about Samaria and Jerusalem.
1:2 [hgb]  万 民 哪 , 你 们 都 要 听 。 地 和 其 上 所 有 的 , 也 都 要 侧 耳 而 听 。 主 耶 和 华 从 他 的 圣 殿 , 要 见 证 你 们 的 不 是 。 
    [kjv]  Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the LORD from his holy temple.
    [bbe]  Give ear, you peoples, all of you; give attention, O earth and everything in it: let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lord from his holy Temple.
1:3 [hgb]  看 哪 , 耶 和 华 出 了 他 的 居 所 , 降 临 步 行 地 的 高 处 。 
    [kjv]  For, behold1, the LORD cometh forth2 out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
    [bbe]  For see, the Lord is coming out from his place, and will come down, stepping on the high places of the earth.
1:4 [hgb]  众 山 在 他 以 下 必 消 化 , 诸 谷 必 崩 裂 , 如 蜡 化 在 火 中 , 如 水 冲 下 山 坡 。 
    [kjv]  And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft3, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
    [bbe]  And the mountains will be turned to water under him, and the deep valleys will be broken open, like wax before the fire, like waters flowing down a slope.
1:5 [hgb]  这 都 因 雅 各 的 罪 过 , 以 色 列 家 的 罪 恶 。 雅 各 的 罪 过 在 哪 里 呢 ? 岂 不 是 在 撒 玛 利 亚 吗 ? 犹 大 的 丘 坛 在 哪 里 呢 ? 岂 不 是 在 耶 路 撒 冷 吗 ? 
    [kjv]  For the transgression4 of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
    [bbe]  All this is because of the wrongdoing of Jacob and the sins of the children of Israel. What is the wrongdoing of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
1:6 [hgb]  所 以 , 我 必 使 撒 玛 利 亚 变 为 田 野 的 乱 堆 , 又 作 为 种 葡 萄 之 处 。 也 必 将 她 的 石 头 倒 在 谷 中 , 露 出 根 基 来 。 
    [kjv]  Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
    [bbe]  So I will make Samaria into a field and the plantings of a vine-garden: I will send its stones falling down into the valley, uncovering its bases.
1:7 [hgb]  她 一 切 雕 刻 的 偶 像 必 被 打 碎 , 她 所 得 的 财 物 必 被 火 烧 , 所 有 的 偶 像 我 必 毁 灭 。 因 为 是 从 妓 女 雇 价 所 聚 来 的 , 后 必 归 为 妓 女 的 雇 价 。 
    [kjv]  And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols5 thereof will I lay desolate6: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
    [bbe]  And all her pictured images will be hammered into bits, and all the payments for her loose ways will be burned with fire, and all the images of her gods I will make waste: for with the price of a loose woman she got them together, and as the price of a loose woman will they be given back.
1:8 [hgb]  先 知 说 , 因 此 我 必 大 声 哀 号 , 赤 脚 露 体 而 行 。 又 要 呼 号 如 野 狗 , 哀 鸣 如 鸵 鸟 。 
    [kjv]  Therefore I will wail7 and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing8 like the dragons, and mourning as the owls9.
    [bbe]  For this I will be full of sorrow and give cries of grief; I will go uncovered and unclothed: I will give cries of grief like the jackals and will be in sorrow like the ostriches10.
1:9 [hgb]  因 为 撒 玛 利 亚 的 伤 痕 无 法 医 治 , 延 及 犹 大 和 耶 路 撒 冷 我 民 的 城 门 。 
    [kjv]  For her wound is incurable11; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
    [bbe]  For her wounds may not be made well: for it has come even to Judah, stretching up to the doorway12 of my people, even to Jerusalem.
1:10 [hgb]  不 要 在 迦 特 报 告 这 事 , 总 不 要 哭 泣 。 我 在 伯 亚 弗 拉 滚 于 灰 尘 之 中 。 
    [kjv]  Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
    [bbe]  Give no word of it in Gath, let there be no weeping at all: at Beth-le-aphrah be rolling in the dust.
1:11 [hgb]  沙 斐 的 居 民 哪 , 你 们 要 赤 身 蒙 羞 过 去 。 撒 南 的 居 民 不 敢 出 来 。 伯 以 薛 人 的 哀 哭 , 使 你 们 无 处 可 站 。 
    [kjv]  Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing13.
    [bbe]  Be uncovered and go away, you who are living in Shaphir: the one living in Zaanan has not come out of her town; Beth-ezel is taken away from its base, even from its resting-place.
1:12 [hgb]  玛 律 的 居 民 心 甚 忧 急 , 切 望 得 好 处 , 因 为 灾 祸 从 耶 和 华 那 里 临 到 耶 路 撒 冷 的 城 门 。 
    [kjv]  For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
    [bbe]  For the one living in Maroth is waiting for good: for evil has come down from the Lord to the doorways14 of Jerusalem.
1:13 [hgb]  拉 吉 的 居 民 哪 , 要 用 快 马 套 车 。 锡 安 民 ( 民 原 文 作 女 子 ) 的 罪 由 你 而 起 。 以 色 列 人 的 罪 过 在 你 那 里 显 出 。 
    [kjv]  O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind15 the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions16 of Israel were found in thee.
    [bbe]  Let the war-carriage be yoked17 to the quick-running horse, you who are living in Lachish: she was the first cause of sin to the daughter of Zion; for the wrongdoings of Israel were seen in you.
1:14 [hgb]  犹 大 阿 , 你 要 将 礼 物 送 给 摩 利 设 迦 特 。 亚 革 悉 的 众 族 , 必 用 诡 诈 待 以 色 列 诸 王 。 
    [kjv]  Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
    [bbe]  For this cause give a parting offering to Moresheth-gath: the daughter of Achzib will be a deceit to the king of Israel.
1:15 [hgb]  玛 利 沙 的 居 民 哪 , 我 必 使 那 夺 取 你 的 来 到 你 这 里 。 以 色 列 的 尊 贵 人 ( 原 文 作 荣 耀 ) 必 到 亚 杜 兰 。 
    [kjv]  Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.
    [bbe]  Even now will the taker of your heritage come to you, you who are living in Mareshah: the glory of Israel will come to destruction for ever.
1:16 [hgb]  犹 大 阿 , 要 为 你 所 喜 爱 的 儿 女 剪 除 你 的 头 发 , 使 头 光 秃 。 要 大 大 地 光 秃 , 如 同 秃 鹰 。 因 为 他 们 都 被 掳 去 离 开 你 。 
    [kjv]  Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity18 from thee.
    [bbe]  Let your head be uncovered and your hair cut off in sorrow for the children of your delight: let the hair be pulled from your head like an eagle's; for they have been taken away from you as prisoners.
