Chapter 1

1:1 [hgb]  为 基 督 耶 稣 被 囚 的 保 罗 ， 同 兄 弟 提 摩 太 ， 写 信 给 我 们 所 亲 爱 的 同 工 腓 利 门 ， 
    [kjv]  Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,
    [bbe]  Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our dear helper in the faith,
1:2 [hgb]  和 妹 子 亚 腓 亚 ， 并 与 我 们 同 当 兵 的 亚 基 布 ， 以 及 在 你 家 的 教 会 。 
    [kjv]  And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:
    [bbe]  And to Apphia, our sister, and to Archippus, our brother in God's army, and to the church in your house:
1:3 [hgb]  愿 恩 惠 平 安 ， 从 神 我 们 的 父 ， 和 主 耶 稣 基 督 ， 归 与 你 们 。 
    [kjv]  Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
    [bbe]  Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:4 [hgb]  我 祷 告 的 时 候 提 到 你 ， 常 为 你 感 谢 我 的 神 。 
    [kjv]  I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,
    [bbe]  I give praise to God at all times and make prayer for you,
1:5 [hgb]  因 听 说 你 的 爱 心 ， 并 你 向 主 耶 稣 和 众 圣 徒 的 信 心 。 （ 或 作 因 听 说 你 向 主 耶 稣 和 众 圣 徒 有 爱 心 有 信 心 ） 
    [kjv]  Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;
    [bbe]  Hearing of the love and the faith which you have to the Lord Jesus and to all the saints;
1:6 [hgb]  愿 你 与 人 所 同 有 的 信 心 显 出 功 效 ， 使 人 知 道 你 们 各 样 善 事 都 是 为 基 督 作 的 。 
    [kjv]  That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
    [bbe]  That the faith which you have in common with them may be working with power, in the knowledge of every good thing in you, for Christ.
1:7 [hgb]  兄 弟 阿 ， 我 为 你 的 爱 心 ， 大 有 快 乐 ， 大 得 安 慰 。 因 众 圣 徒 的 心 从 你 得 了 畅 快 。 
    [kjv]  For we have great joy and consolation¹ in thy love, because the bowels² of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
    [bbe]  For I had great joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been made strong again through you, brother.
1:8 [hgb]  我 虽 然 靠 着 基 督 能 放 胆 吩 咐 你 合 宜 的 事 。 
    [kjv]  Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin³ thee that which is convenient,
    [bbe]  And so, though I might, in the name of Christ, give you orders to do what is right,
1:9 [hgb]  然 而 像 我 这 有 年 纪 的 保 罗 ， 现 在 又 是 为 基 督 耶 稣 被 囚 的 ， 宁 可 凭 着 爱 心 求 你 。 
    [kjv]  Yet for love's sake I rather beseech⁴ thee, being such an one as Paul the aged⁵, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
    [bbe]  Still, because of love, in place of an order, I make a request to you, I, Paul, an old man and now a prisoner of Christ Jesus:
1:10 [hgb]  就 是 为 我 在 捆 锁 中 所 生 的 儿 子 阿 尼 西 母 （ 此 名 就 是 有 益 处 的 意 思 ） 求 你 。 
    [kjv]  I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten⁶ in my bonds:
    [bbe]  My request is for my child Onesimus, the child of my chains,
1:11 [hgb]  他 从 前 与 你 没 有 益 处 ， 但 如 今 与 你 我 都 有 益 处 。 
    [kjv]  Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:
    [bbe]  Who in the past was of no profit to you, but now is of profit to you and to me:
1:12 [hgb]  我 现 在 打 发 他 亲 自 回 你 那 里 去 。 他 是 我 心 上 的 人 。 
    [kjv]  Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:
    [bbe]  Whom I have sent back to you, him who is my very heart:
1:13 [hgb]  我 本 来 有 意 将 他 留 下 ， 在 我 为 福 音 所 受 的 捆 锁 中 替 你 伺 候 我 。 
    [kjv]  Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
    [bbe]  Though my desire was to keep him with me, to be my servant in the chains of the good news, in your place:
1:14 [hgb]  但 不 知 道 你 的 意 思 ， 我 就 不 愿 意 这 样 行 ， 叫 你 的 善 行 不 是 出 于 勉 强 ， 乃 是 出 于 甘 心 。 
    [kjv]  But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
    [bbe]  But without your approval I would do nothing; so that your good works might not be forced, but done freely from your heart.
1:15 [hgb]  他 暂 时 离 开 你 ， 或 者 是 叫 你 永 远 得 着 他 。 
    [kjv]  For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;
    [bbe]  For it is possible that for this reason he was parted from you for a time, so that you might have him for ever;
1:16 [hgb]  不 再 是 奴 仆 ， 乃 是 高 过 奴 仆 ， 是 亲 爱 的 兄 弟 ， 在 我 实 在 是 如 此 ， 何 况 在 你 呢 。 这 也 不 拘 是 按 肉 体 说 ， 是 按 主 说 。 
    [kjv]  Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially⁷ to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
    [bbe]  No longer as a servant, but more than a servant, a brother, very dear to me specially, but much more to you, in the flesh as well as in the Lord.
1:17 [hgb]  你 若 以 我 为 同 伴 ， 就 收 纳 他 ， 如 同 收 纳 我 一 样 。 
    [kjv]  If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.
    [bbe]  If then you take me to be your friend and brother, take him in as myself.
1:18 [hgb]  他 若 亏 负 你 ， 或 欠 你 什 么 ， 都 归 在 我 的 账 上 。 
    [kjv]  If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;
    [bbe]  If he has done you any wrong or is in debt to you for anything, put it to my account.
1:19 [hgb]  我 必 偿 还 。 这 是 我 保 罗 亲 笔 写 的 。 我 并 不 用 对 你 说 ， 连 你 自 己 也 是 亏 欠 于 我 。 
    [kjv]  I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit⁸ I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
    [bbe]  I, Paul, writing this myself, say, I will make payment to you: and I do not say to you that you are in debt to me even for your life.
1:20 [hgb]  兄 弟 阿 ， 望 你 使 我 在 主 里 因 你 得 快 乐 （ 或 作 益 处 ） 。 并 望 你 使 我 的 心 在 基 督 里 得 畅 快 。 
    [kjv]  Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.
    [bbe]  So brother, let me have joy of you in the Lord: give new life to my heart in Christ.
1:21 [hgb]  我 写 信 给 你 ， 深 信 你 必 顺 服 ， 知 道 你 所 要 行 的 ， 必 过 于 我 所 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  Having confidence in thy obedience⁹ I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt¹⁰ also do more than I say.
    [bbe]  Being certain that you will do my desire, I am writing to you, in the knowledge that you will do even more than I say.
1:22 [hgb]  此 外 你 还 要 给 我 预 备 住 处 ， 因 为 我 盼 望 借 着 你 们 的 祷 告 ， 必 蒙 恩 到 你 们 那 里 去 。 
    [kjv]  But withal prepare me also a lodging¹¹: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
    [bbe]  And make a room ready for me; for I am hoping that through your prayers I will be given to you.
1:23 [hgb]  为 基 督 耶 稣 与 我 同 坐 监 的 以 巴 弗 问 你 安 。 
    [kjv]  There salute¹² thee Epaphras, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus;
    [bbe]  Epaphras, my brother-prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends you his love;
1:24 [hgb]  与 我 同 工 的 马 可 ， 亚 里 达 古 ， 底 马 ， 路 加 ， 也 都 问 你 安 。 
    [kjv]  Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellowlabourers.
    [bbe]  And so do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my brother-workers.
1:25 [hgb]  愿 我 们 主 耶 稣 基 督 的 恩 常 在 你 的 心 里 。 阿 们 。 
    [kjv]  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
    [bbe]  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. So be it.

1 consolation   

n.安慰，慰问

2 bowels
