Poirot had abandoned his trophy¹, the wig². He had gone to Norma, and taken her hand gently inhis.

Only one person was likely to recognise him—orrather to recognise that this man was not Andrew Restarick—the woman who had been AndrewRestarick’s mistress fifteen years ago.”
