21:1 [hgb]  以 色 列 人 在 米 斯 巴 曾 起 誓 说 ， 我 们 都 不 将 女 儿 给 便 雅 悯 人 为 妻 。 
    [kjv]  Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife.
    [bbe]  Now the men of Israel had taken an oath in Mizpah, saying, Not one of us will give his daughter as a wife to Benjamin.
21:2 [hgb]  以 色 列 人 来 到 伯 特 利 ， 坐 在 神 面 前 直 到 晚 上 ， 放 声 痛 哭 ， 
    [kjv]  And the people came to the house of God, and abode¹ there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore;
    [bbe]  And the people came to Beth-el, waiting there till evening before God, and gave themselves up to bitter weeping.
21:3 [hgb]  说 ， 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 阿 ， 为 何 以 色 列 中 有 这 样 缺 了 一 支 派 的 事 呢 ？ 
    [kjv]  And said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?
    [bbe]  And they said, O Lord, the God of Israel, why has this fate come on Israel, that today one tribe has been cut off from Israel?
21:4 [hgb]  次 日 清 早 ， 百 姓 起 来 ， 在 那 里 筑 了 一 座 坛 ， 献 燔 祭 和 平 安 祭 。 
    [kjv]  And it came to pass on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.
    [bbe]  Then on the day after, the people got up early and made an altar there, offering burned offerings and peace-offerings.
21:5 [hgb]  以 色 列 人 彼 此 问 说 ， 以 色 列 各 支 派 中 ， 谁 没 有 同 会 众 上 到 耶 和 华 面 前 来 呢 ？ 先 是 以 色 列 人 起 过 大 誓 说 ， 凡 不 上 米 斯 巴 到 耶 和 华 面 前 来 的 ， 必 将 他 治 死 。 
    [kjv]  And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto the LORD? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put to death.
    [bbe]  And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel, who did not come up to the Lord at the meeting of all Israel? For they had taken a great oath that whoever did not come up to Mizpah to the Lord was to be put to death.
21:6 [hgb]  以 色 列 人 为 他 们 的 弟 兄 便 雅 悯 后 悔 ， 说 ， 如 今 以 色 列 中 绝 了 一 个 支 派 了 。
