15:1 [hgb]  撒 母 耳 对 扫 罗 说 , 耶 和 华 差 遣 我 膏 你 为 王 , 治 理 他 的 百 姓 以 色 列 。 所 以 你 当 听 从 耶 和 华 的 话 。

    [bbe]  The Lord of armies says, I will give punishment to Amalek for what he did to Israel, fighting against him on the way when Israel came out of Egypt.
15:3 [hgb]  现 在 你 要 去 击 打 亚 玛 力 人 , 灭 尽 他 们 所 有 的 , 不 可 怜 惜 他 们 , 将 男 女 , 孩 童 , 吃 奶 的 , 并 牛 , 羊 , 骆 驼 , 和 驴 尽 行 杀 死 。 
    [kjv]  Now go and smite1 Amalek, and utterly2 destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay3 both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass4.
    [bbe]  Go now and put Amalek to the sword, putting to the curse all they have, without mercy: put to death every man and woman, every child and baby at the breast, every ox and sheep, camel and ass.
15:4 [hgb]  于 是 扫 罗 招 聚 百 姓 在 提 拉 因 , 数 点 他 们 , 共 有 步 兵 二 十 万 , 另 有 犹 大 人 一 万 。 
    [kjv]  And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.
    [bbe]  And Saul sent for the people and had them numbered in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen and ten thousand men of Judah.
15:5 [hgb]  扫 罗 到 了 亚 玛 力 的 京 城 , 在 谷 中 设 下 埋 伏 。
