    [bbe]  Then David came to Nob, to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was full of fear at meeting David, and said to him, Why are you by yourself, having no man with you?
21:2 [hgb]  大 卫 回 答 祭 司 亚 希 米 勒 说 , 王 吩 咐 我 一 件 事 说 , 我 差 遣 你 委 托 你 的 这 件 事 , 不 要 使 人 知 道 。 故 此 我 已 派 定 少 年 人 在 某 处 等 候 我 。 
    [kjv]  And David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king hath commanded me a business, and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing of the business whereabout I send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I have appointed my servants to such and such a place.
    [bbe]  And David said to Ahimelech the priest, The king has given me orders and has said to me, Say nothing to anyone about the business on which I am sending you and the orders I have given you: and a certain place has been fixed2 to which the young men are to go.
21:3 [hgb]  现 在 你 手 下 有 什 么 。 求 你 给 我 五 个 饼 或 是 别 样 的 食 物 。 
    [kjv]  Now therefore what is under thine hand? give me five loaves of bread in mine hand, or what there is present.
    [bbe]  So now, if you have here five cakes of bread, give them into my hand, or whatever you have.
21:4 [hgb]  祭 司 对 大 卫 说 , 我 手 下 没 有 寻 常 的 饼 , 只 有 圣 饼 。 若 少 年 人 没 有 亲 近 妇 人 才 可 以 给 。 
    [kjv]  And the priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.
    [bbe]  And the priest, answering David, said, I have no common bread here but there is holy bread; if only the young men have kept themselves from women.
21:5 [hgb]  大 卫 对 祭 司 说 , 实 在 约 有 三 日 我 们 没 有 亲 近 妇 人 。 我 出 来 的 时 候 , 虽 是 寻 常 行 路 , 少 年 人 的 器 皿 还 是 洁 净 的 。 何 况 今 日 不 更 是 洁 净 吗 ?
