6:1 [hgb]  先 知 门 徒 对 以 利 沙 说 ， 看 哪 ， 我 们 同 你 所 住 的 地 方 过 于 窄 小 ， 
    [kjv]  And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold¹ now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.
    [bbe]  Now the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, There is not room enough for us in the place where we are living under your care;
6:2 [hgb]  求 你 容 我 们 往 约 旦 河 去 ， 各 人 从 那 里 取 一 根 木 料 建 造 房 屋 居 住 。 他 说 ， 你 们 去 吧 。 
    [kjv]  Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.
    [bbe]  So let us go to Jordan, and let everyone get to work cutting boards, and we will make a living-place for ourselves there. And he said to them, Go, then.
6:3 [hgb]  有 一 人 说 ， 求 你 与 仆 人 同 去 。 回 答 说 ， 我 可 以 去 。 
    [kjv]  And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.
    [bbe]  And one of them said, Be pleased to go with your servants. And he said, I will go.
6:4 [hgb]  于 是 以 利 沙 与 他 们 同 去 。 到 了 约 旦 河 ， 就 砍 伐 树 木 。 
    [kjv]  So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.
    [bbe]  So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they got to work cutting down trees.
6:5 [hgb]  有 一 人 砍 树 的 时 候 ， 斧 头 掉 在 水 里 ， 他 就 呼 叫 说 ， 哀 哉 。 我 主 阿 ， 这 斧 子 是 借 的 。 
    [kjv]  But as one was felling a beam, the axe² head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas³, master! for it was borrowed.
    [bbe]  But one of them, while cutting a board, let the head of his axe go into the water; and he gave a cry, and said, This is a bad business, my master, for it is another's.
6:6 [hgb]  神 人 问 说 ， 掉 在 哪 里 了 。 他 将 那 地 方 指 给 以 利 沙 看 。 以 利 沙 砍 了 一 根 木 头 ， 抛 在 水 里 ， 斧 头 就 漂 上 来 了 。 
    [kjv]  And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in
