4:1 [hgb]  犹 大 和 便 雅 悯 的 敌 人 ， 听 说 被 掳 归 回 的 人 ， 为 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 建 造 殿 宇 ，
    [kjv]  Now when the adversaries¹ of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity² builded the temple unto the LORD God of Israel;
    [bbe]  Now news came to the haters of Judah and Benjamin that the people who had come back were building a Temple to the Lord, the God of Israel;
4:2 [hgb]  就 去 见 所 罗 巴 伯 和 以 色 列 的 族 长 ， 对 他 们 说 ， 请 容 我 们 与 你 们 一 同 建 造 。 因 为 我 们 寻 求 你 们 的 神 ， 与 你 们 一 样 。 自 从 亚 述 王 以 撒 哈 顿 带 我 们 上 这 地 以 来 ， 我 们 常 祭 祀 神 。
    [kjv]  Then they came to Zerubbabel, and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither.
    [bbe]  Then they came to Zerubbabel and to the heads of families, and said to them, Let us take part in the building with you; for we are servants of your God, even as you are; and we have been making offerings to him from the days of Esar-haddon, king of Assyria, who put us here.
4:3 [hgb]  但 所 罗 巴 伯 ， 耶 书 亚 ， 和 其 余 以 色 列 的 族 长 对 他 们 说 ， 我 们 建 造 神 的 殿 与 你 们 无 干 ， 我 们 自 己 为 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 协 力 建 造 ， 是 照 波 斯 王 古 列 所 吩 咐 的 。
    [kjv]  But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.
    [bbe]  But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the heads of families in Israel said to them, You have no part with us in the building of a house for our God; we ourselves will do the work together for the Lord, the God of Israel, as Cyrus, king of Persia, has given us orders.
4:4 [hgb]  那 地 的 民 ， 就 在 犹 大 人 建 造 的 时 候 ， 使 他 们 的 手 发 软 ， 扰 乱 他 们 。
    [kjv]  Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building,
    [bbe]  Then the people of the land made the hands of the people of Judah feeble, troubling them with fear in their building;
