49:1 [hgb]  雅 各 叫 了 他 的 儿 子 们 来 , 说 , 你 们 都 来 聚 集 , 我 好 把 你 们 日 后 必 遇 的 事 告 诉 你 们 。 
    [kjv]  And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
    [bbe]  And Jacob sent for his sons, and said, Come together, all of you, so that I may give you news of your fate in future times.
49:2 [hgb]  雅 各 的 儿 子 们 , 你 们 要 聚 集 而 听 , 要 听 你 们 父 亲 以 色 列 的 话 。 
    [kjv]  Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.
    [bbe]  Come near, O sons of Jacob, and give ear to the words of Israel your father.
49:3 [hgb]  流 便 哪 , 你 是 我 的 长 子 , 是 我 力 量 强 壮 的 时 候 生 的 , 本 当 大 有 尊 荣 , 权 力 超 众 。 
    [kjv]  Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
    [bbe]  Reuben, you are my oldest son, the first-fruit of my strength, first in pride and first in power:
49:4 [hgb]  但 你 放 纵 情 欲 , 滚 沸 如 水 , 必 不 得 居 首 位 。 因 为 你 上 了 你 父 亲 的 床 , 污 秽 了 我 的 榻 。 
    [kjv]  Unstable1 as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.
    [bbe]  But because you were uncontrolled, the first place will not be yours; for you went up to your father's bed, even his bride-bed, and made it unclean.
49:5 [hgb]  西 缅 和 利 未 是 弟 兄 。 他 们 的 刀 剑 是 残 忍 的 器 具 。 
    [kjv]  Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
    [bbe]  Simeon and Levi are brothers; deceit and force are their secret designs.
49:6 [hgb]  我 的 灵 阿 , 不 要 与 他 们 同 谋 。 我 的 心 哪 , 不 要 与 他 们 联 络 。 因 为 他 们 趁 怒 杀 害 人 命 , 任 意 砍 断 牛 腿 大 筋 。 
    [kjv]  O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew3 a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.
    [bbe]  Take no part in their secrets, O my soul; keep far away, O my heart, from their meetings; for in their wrath4 they put men to death, and for their pleasure even oxen were wounded.
49:7 [hgb]  他 们 的 怒 气 暴 烈 可 咒 。 他 们 的 忿 恨 残 忍 可 诅 。 我 要 使 他 们 分 居 在 雅 各 家 里 , 散 住 在 以 色 列 地 中 。 
    [kjv]  Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter5 them in Israel.
    [bbe]  A curse on their passion for it was bitter; and on their wrath for it was cruel. I will let their heritage in Jacob be broken up, driving them from their places in Israel.
49:8 [hgb]  犹 大 阿 , 你 弟 兄 们 必 赞 美 你 。 你 手 必 掐 住 仇 敌 的 颈 项 。 你 父 亲 的 儿 子 们 必 向 你 下 拜 。 
    [kjv]  Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee.
    [bbe]  To you, Judah, will your brothers give praise: your hand will be on the neck of your haters; your father's sons will go down to the earth before you.
49:9 [hgb]  犹 大 是 个 小 狮 子 。 我 儿 阿 , 你 抓 了 食 便 上 去 。 你 屈 下 身 去 , 卧 如 公 狮 , 蹲 如 母 狮 , 谁 敢 惹 你 。 
    [kjv]  Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey6, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
    [bbe]  Judah is a young lion; like a lion full of meat you have become great, my son; now he takes his rest like a lion stretched out and like an old lion; by whom will his sleep be broken?
49:10 [hgb]  圭 必 不 离 犹 大 , 杖 必 不 离 他 两 脚 之 间 , 直 等 细 罗 ( 就 是 赐 平 安 者 ) 来 到 , 万 民 都 必 归 顺 。 
    [kjv]  The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering7 of the people be.
    [bbe]  The rod of authority will not be taken from Judah, and he will not be without a law-giver, till he comes who has the right to it, and the peoples will put themselves under his rule.
49:11 [hgb]  犹 大 把 小 驴 拴 在 葡 萄 树 上 , 把 驴 驹 拴 在 美 好 的 葡 萄 树 上 。 他 在 葡 萄 酒 中 洗 了 衣 服 , 在 葡 萄 汁 中 洗 了 袍 褂 。 
    [kjv]  Binding8 his foal unto the vine, and his ass2's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
    [bbe]  Knotting his ass's cord to the vine, and his young ass to the best vine; washing his robe in wine, and his clothing in the blood of grapes:
49:12 [hgb]  他 的 眼 睛 必 因 酒 红 润 。 他 的 牙 齿 必 因 奶 白 亮 。 
    [kjv]  His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
    [bbe]  His eyes will be dark with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
49:13 [hgb]  西 布 伦 必 住 在 海 口 , 必 成 为 停 船 的 海 口 。 他 的 境 界 必 延 到 西 顿 。 
    [kjv]  Zebulun shall dwell at the haven9 of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon.
    [bbe]  The resting-place of Zebulun will be by the sea, and he will be a harbour for ships; the edge of his land will be by Zidon.
49:14 [hgb]  以 萨 迦 是 个 强 壮 的 驴 , 卧 在 羊 圈 之 中 。 
    [kjv]  Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens:
    [bbe]  Issachar is a strong ass stretched out among the flocks:
49:15 [hgb]  他 以 安 静 为 佳 , 以 肥 地 为 美 , 便 低 肩 背 重 , 成 为 服 苦 的 仆 人 。 
    [kjv]  And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.
    [bbe]  And he saw that rest was good and the land was pleasing; so he let them put weights on his back and became a servant.
49:16 [hgb]  但 必 判 断 他 的 民 , 作 以 色 列 支 派 之 一 。 
    [kjv]  Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
    [bbe]  Dan will be the judge of his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
49:17 [hgb]  但 必 作 道 上 的 蛇 , 路 中 的 虺 , 咬 伤 马 蹄 , 使 骑 马 的 坠 落 于 后 。 
    [kjv]  Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder10 in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
    [bbe]  May Dan be a snake in the way, a horned snake by the road, biting the horse's foot so that the horseman has a fall.
49:18 [hgb]  耶 和 华 阿 , 我 向 来 等 候 你 的 救 恩 。 
    [kjv]  I have waited for thy salvation11, O LORD.
    [bbe]  I have been waiting for your salvation, O Lord.
49:19 [hgb]  迦 得 必 被 敌 军 追 逼 , 他 却 要 追 逼 他 们 的 脚 跟 。 
    [kjv]  Gad12, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.
    [bbe]  Gad, an army will come against him, but he will come down on them in their flight.
49:20 [hgb]  亚 设 之 地 必 出 肥 美 的 粮 食 , 且 出 君 王 的 美 味 。 
    [kjv]  Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.
    [bbe]  Asher's bread is fat; he gives delicate food for kings.
49:21 [hgb]  拿 弗 他 利 是 被 释 放 的 母 鹿 。 他 出 嘉 美 的 言 语 。 
    [kjv]  Naphtali is a hind13 let loose: he giveth goodly words.
    [bbe]  Naphtali is a roe14 let loose, giving fair young ones.
49:22 [hgb]  约 瑟 是 多 结 果 子 的 树 枝 , 是 泉 旁 多 结 果 的 枝 子 。 他 的 枝 条 探 出 墙 外 。 
    [kjv]  Joseph is a fruitful bough15, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:

49:25 [hgb]  你 父 亲 的 神 必 帮 助 你 。 那 全 能 者 必 将 天 上 所 有 的 福 , 地 里 所 藏 的 福 , 以 及 生 产 乳 养 的 福 , 都 赐 给 你 。

49:26 [hgb]  你 父 亲 所 祝 的 福 , 胜 过 我 祖 先 所 祝 的 福 , 如 永 世 的 山 岭 , 至 极 的 边 界 。 这 些 福 必 降 在 约 瑟 的 头 上 , 临 列 那 与 弟 兄 迥 别 之 人 的 顶 上 。 
    [kjv]  The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors22 unto the utmost bound of the everlasting23 hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
    [bbe]  Blessings of sons, old and young, to the father: blessings of the oldest mountains and the fruit of the eternal hills: let them come on the head of Joseph, on the crown of him who was separate from his brothers.
49:27 [hgb]  便 雅 悯 是 个 撕 掠 的 狼 , 早 晨 要 吃 他 所 抓 的 , 晚 上 要 分 他 所 夺 的 。 
    [kjv]  Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour24 the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.

49:29 [hgb]  他 又 嘱 咐 他 们 说 , 我 将 要 归 到 我 列 祖 ( 原 文 作 本 民 ) 那 里 , 你 们 要 将 我 葬 在 赫 人 以 弗 仑 田 间 的 洞 里 , 与 我 祖 我 父 在 一 处 , 
    [kjv]  And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
    [bbe]  And he gave orders to them, saying, Put me to rest with my people and with my fathers, in the hollow of the rock in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
