20:1 [hgb]  神 吩 咐 这 一 切 的 话 说 , 
    [kjv]  And God spake all these words, saying,
    [bbe]  And God said all these words:
20:2 [hgb]  我 是 耶 和 华 你 的 神 , 曾 将 你 从 埃 及 地 为 奴 之 家 领 出 来 。 
    [kjv]  I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage1.
    [bbe]  I am the Lord your God who took you out of the land of Egypt, out of the prison-house.
20:3 [hgb]  除 了 我 以 外 , 你 不 可 有 别 的 神 。 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
    [bbe]  You are to have no other gods but me.
20:4 [hgb]  不 可 为 自 己 雕 刻 偶 像 , 也 不 可 作 什 么 形 像 仿 佛 上 天 , 下 地 , 和 地 底 下 , 水 中 的 百 物 。 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness2 of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
    [bbe]  You are not to make an image or picture of anything in heaven or on the earth or in the waters under the earth:
20:5 [hgb]  不 可 跪 拜 那 些 像 , 也 不 可 事 奉 它 , 因 为 我 耶 和 华 你 的 神 是 忌 邪 的 神 。 恨 我 的 , 我 必 追 讨 他 的 罪 , 自 父 及 子 , 直 到 三 四 代 , 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity3 of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
    [bbe]  You may not go down on your faces before them or give them worship: for I, the Lord your God, am a God who will not give his honour to another; and I will send punishment on the children for the wrongdoing of their fathers, to the third and fourth generation of my haters;
20:6 [hgb]  爱 我 , 守 我 诫 命 的 , 我 必 向 他 们 发 慈 爱 , 直 到 千 代 。 
    [kjv]  And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
    [bbe]  And I will have mercy through a thousand generations on those who have love for me and keep my laws.
20:7 [hgb]  不 可 妄 称 耶 和 华 你 神 的 名 , 因 为 妄 称 耶 和 华 名 的 , 耶 和 华 必 不 以 他 为 无 罪 。 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
    [bbe]  You are not to make use of the name of the Lord your God for an evil purpose; whoever takes the Lord's name on his lips for an evil purpose will be judged a sinner by the Lord
20:8 [hgb]  当 记 念 安 息 日 , 守 为 圣 日 。 
    [kjv]  Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
    [bbe]  Keep in memory the Sabbath and let it be a holy day.
20:9 [hgb]  六 日 要 劳 碌 作 你 一 切 的 工 , 
    [kjv]  Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
    [bbe]  On six days do all your work:
20:10 [hgb]  但 第 七 日 是 向 耶 和 华 你 神 当 守 的 安 息 日 。 这 一 日 你 和 你 的 儿 女 , 仆 婢 , 牲 畜 , 并 你 城 里 寄 居 的 客 旅 , 无 论 何 工 都 不 可 作 , 
    [kjv]  But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
    [bbe]  But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God; on that day you are to do no work, you or your son or your daughter, your man-servant or your woman-servant, your cattle or the man from a strange country who is living among you:
20:11 [hgb]  因 为 六 日 之 内 , 耶 和 华 造 天 , 地 , 海 , 和 其 中 的 万 物 , 第 七 日 便 安 息 , 所 以 耶 和 华 赐 福 与 安 息 日 , 定 为 圣 日 。 
    [kjv]  For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
    [bbe]  For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and the sea, and everything in them, and he took his rest on the seventh day: for this reason the Lord has given his blessing4 to the seventh day and made it holy.
20:12 [hgb]  当 孝 敬 父 母 , 使 你 的 日 子 在 耶 和 华 你 神 所 赐 你 的 地 上 得 以 长 久 。 
    [kjv]  Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
    [bbe]  Give honour to your father and to your mother, so that your life may be long in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
20:13 [hgb]  不 可 杀 人 。 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt not kill.
    [bbe]  Do not put anyone to death without cause.
20:14 [hgb]  不 可 奸 淫 。 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt not commit adultery.
    [bbe]  Do not be false to the married relation.
20:15 [hgb]  不 可 偷 盗 。 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt not steal.
    [bbe]  Do not take the property of another.
20:16 [hgb]  不 可 作 假 见 证 陷 害 人 。 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
    [bbe]  Do not give false witness against your neighbour.
20:17 [hgb]  不 可 贪 恋 人 的 房 屋 , 也 不 可 贪 恋 人 的 妻 子 , 仆 婢 , 牛 驴 , 并 他 一 切 所 有 的 。 
    [kjv]  Thou shalt not covet5 thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass6, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
    [bbe]  Let not your desire be turned to your neighbour's house, or his wife or his man-servant or his woman-servant or his ox or his ass or anything which is his.
20:18 [hgb]  众 百 姓 见 雷 轰 , 闪 电 , 角 声 , 山 上 冒 烟 , 就 都 发 颤 , 远 远 地 站 立 。 
    [kjv]  And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet7, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.
    [bbe]  And all the people were watching the thunderings and the flames and the sound of the horn and the mountain smoking; and when they saw it, they kept far off, shaking with fear.
20:19 [hgb]  对 摩 西 说 , 求 你 和 我 们 说 话 , 我 们 必 听 , 不 要 神 和 我 们 说 话 , 恐 怕 我 们 死 亡 。 
    [kjv]  And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
    [bbe]  And they said to Moses, To your words we will give ear, but let not the voice of God come to our ears, for fear death may come on us.
20:20 [hgb]  摩 西 对 百 姓 说 , 不 要 惧 怕 , 因 为 神 降 临 是 要 试 验 你 们 , 叫 你 们 时 常 敬 畏 他 , 不 致 犯 罪 。 
    [kjv]  And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
    [bbe]  And Moses said to the people, Have no fear: for God has come to put you to the test, so that fearing him you may be kept from sin.
20:21 [hgb]  于 是 百 姓 远 远 地 站 立 , 摩 西 就 挨 近 神 所 在 的 幽 暗 之 中 。 
    [kjv]  And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.
    [bbe]  And the people kept their places far off, but Moses went near to the dark cloud where God was.
20:22 [hgb]  耶 和 华 对 摩 西 说 , 你 要 向 以 色 列 人 这 样 说 , 你 们 自 己 看 见 我 从 天 上 和 你 们 说 话 了 。 
    [kjv]  And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
    [bbe]  And the Lord said to Moses, Say to the children of Israel, You yourselves have seen that my voice has come to you from heaven
20:23 [hgb]  你 们 不 可 作 什 么 神 像 与 我 相 配 , 不 可 为 自 己 作 金 银 的 神 像 。 
    [kjv]  Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
    [bbe]  Gods of silver and gods of gold you are not to make for yourselves.
20:24 [hgb]  你 要 为 我 筑 土 坛 , 在 上 面 以 牛 羊 献 为 燔 祭 和 平 安 祭 。 凡 记 下 我 名 的 地 方 , 我 必 到 那 里 赐 福 给 你 。 
    [kjv]  An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
    [bbe]  Make for me an altar of earth, offering on it your burned offerings and your peace-offerings, your sheep and your oxen: in every place where I have put the memory of my name, I will come to you and give you my blessing.
20:25 [hgb]  你 若 为 我 筑 一 座 石 坛 , 不 可 用 凿 成 的 石 头 , 因 你 在 上 头 一 动 家 具 , 就 把 坛 污 秽 了 。 
    [kjv]  And if thou wilt8 make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
    [bbe]  And if you make me an altar of stone do not make it of cut stones: for the touch of an instrument will make it unclean.
20:26 [hgb]  你 上 我 的 坛 , 不 可 用 台 阶 , 免 得 露 出 你 的 下 体 来 。 
    [kjv]  Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.
    [bbe]  And do not go up by steps to my altar, for fear that your bodies may be seen uncovered.
