Chapter 1

[bbe]  Who gives us comfort in all our troubles, so that we may be able to give comfort to others who are in trouble, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.1:5 [hgb]  我 们 既 多 受 基 督 的 苦 楚 ， 就 靠 基 督 多 得 安 慰 。    [kjv]  For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. [bbe]  And our hope for you is certain; in the knowledge that as you take part in the troubles, so you will take part in the comfort.1:8 [hgb]  弟 兄 们 ， 我 们 不 要 你 们 不 晓 得 ， 我 们 从 前 在 亚 西 亚 遭 遇 苦 难 ， 被 压 太 重 ， 力 不 能 胜 ， 甚 至 连 活 命 的 指 望 都 绝 了 。    [kjv]  For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:    [bbe]  For it is our desire that you may not be without knowledge of our trouble which came on us in Asia, that the weight of it was very great, more than our power, so that it seemed that we had no hope even of life:1:9 [hgb]  自 己 心 里 也 断 定 是 必 死 的 ， 叫 我 们 不 靠 自 己 ， 只 靠 叫 死 人 复 活 的 神 。    [kjv]  But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:    [bbe]  Yes, we ourselves have had the answer of death in ourselves, so that our hope might not be in ourselves, but in God who is able to give life to the dead:1:10 [hgb]  他 曾 救 我 们 脱 离 那 极 大 的 死 亡 ， 现 在 仍 要 救 我 们 ， 并 且 我 们 指 望 他 将 来 还 要 救 我 们 。    [kjv]  Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;    [bbe]  Who gave us salvation from so great a death: on whom we have put our hope that he will still go on to give us salvation;1:11 [hgb]  你 们 以 祈 祷 帮 助 我 们 ， 好 叫 许 多 人 为 我 们 谢 恩 ， 就 是 为 我 们 因 许 多 人 所 得 的 恩 。    [kjv]  Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.    [bbe]  You at the same time helping together by your prayer for us; so that for what has been given to us through a number of persons, praise may go up to God for us from all of them.1:12 [hgb]  我 们 所 夸 的 ， 是 自 己 的 良 心 ， 见 证 我 们 凭 着 神 的 圣 洁 和 诚 实 ， 在 世 为 人 ， 不 靠 人 的 聪 明 ， 乃 靠 神 的 恩 惠 ， 向 你 们 更 是 这 样 。    [kjv]  For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. [bbe]  And by way of Corinth to go into Macedonia, and from there to come back again to you, so that you might send me on my way to Judaea.1:17 [hgb]  我 有 此 意 ， 岂 是 反 复 不 定 吗 ？ 我 所 起 的 意 ， 岂 是 从 情 欲 起 的 ， 叫 我 忽 是 忽 非 吗 ？    [kjv]  When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?    [bbe]  If then I had such a purpose, did I seem to be changing suddenly? or am I guided in my purposes by the flesh, saying, Yes, today, and, No, tomorrow?1:18 [hgb]  我 指 着 信 实 的 神 说 ， 我 们 向 你 们 所 传 的 道 ， 并 没 有 是 而 又 非 的 。    [kjv]  But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.    [bbe]  As God is true, our word to you is not Yes and No.1:19 [hgb]  因 为 我 和 西 拉 ， 并 提 摩 太 ， 在 你 们 中 间 所 传 神 的 儿 子 耶 稣 基 督 ， 总 没 有 是 而 又 非 的 ， 在 他 只 有 一 是 。    [kjv]  For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.    [bbe]  For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom we were preaching among you, even I and Silvanus and Timothy, was not Yes and No, but in him is Yes.1:20 [hgb]  神 的 应 许 ， 不 论 有 多 少 ， 在 基 督 都 是 是 的 ， 所 以 借 着 他 也 都 是 实 在 的 ， （ 实 在 原 文 作 阿 们 ） 叫 神 因 我 们 得 荣 耀 。    [kjv]  For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.    [bbe]  For he is the Yes to all the undertakings of God: and by him all the words of God are made certain and put into effect, to the glory of God through us.1:21 [hgb]  那 在 基 督 里 坚 固 我 们 和 你 们 ， 并 且 膏 我 们 的 ， 就 是 神 。    [kjv]  Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;    [bbe]  Now he who makes our faith strong together with you, in Christ, and has given us of his grace, is God;1:22 [hgb]  他 又 用 印 印 了 我 们 ， 并 赐 圣 灵 在 我 们 心 里 作 凭 据 。 （ 原 文 作 质 ） 。    [kjv]  Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.    [bbe]  And it is he who has put his stamp on us, even the Spirit, as the sign in our hearts of the coming glory.1:23 [hgb]  我 呼 吁 神 给 我 的 心 作 见 证 ， 我 没 有 往 哥 林 多 去 ， 是 为 要 宽 容 你 们 。    [kjv]  Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.    [bbe]  But God is my witness that it was in pity for you that I did not come to Corinth at that time.1:24 [hgb]  我 们 并 不 是 辖 管 你 们 的 信 心 ， 乃 是 帮 助 你 们 的 快 乐 。 因 为 你 们 凭 信 才 站 立 得 住 。    [kjv]  Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.    [bbe]  Not that we have authority over your faith, but we are helpers of your joy: for it is faith which is your support.
Chapter 2
2:1 [hgb]  我 自 己 定 了 主 意 ， 再 到 你 们 那 里 去 ， 必 须 大 家 没 有 忧 愁 。    [kjv]  But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.    [bbe]  But it was my decision for myself, not to come again to you with sorrow.2:2 [hgb]  倘 若 我 叫 你 们 忧 愁 ， 除 了 我 叫 那 忧 愁 的 人 以 外 ， 谁 能 叫 我 快 乐 呢 ？    [kjv]  For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?    [bbe]  For if I give you sorrow, who then will make me glad, but he who is made sad by me?2:3 [hgb]  我 曾 把 这 事 写 给 你 们 ， 恐 怕 我 到 的 时 候 ， 应 该 叫 我 快 乐 的 那 些 人 ， 反 倒 叫 我 忧 愁 。 我 也 深 信 ， 你 们 众 人 都 以 我 的 快 乐 为 自 己 的 快 乐 。    [kjv]  And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.    [bbe]  And I said this very thing in my letter, for fear that when I came I might have sorrow from those from whom it was right for me to have joy; being certain of this, that my joy is the joy of you all.2:4 [hgb]  我 先 前 心 里 难 过 痛 苦 ， 多 多 地 流 泪 ， 写 信 给 你 们 。 不 是 叫 你 们 忧 愁 ， 乃 是 叫 你 们 知 道 我 格 外 的 疼 爱 你 们 。    [kjv]  For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.    [bbe]  For out of much trouble and pain of heart and much weeping I sent my letter to you; not to give you sorrow, but so that you might see how great is the love which I have to you.2:5 [hgb]  若 有 叫 人 忧 愁 的 ， 他 不 但 叫 我 忧 愁 ， 也 是 叫 你 们 众 人 有 几 分 忧 愁 ， 我 说 几 分 ， 恐 怕 说 得 太 重 。    [kjv]  But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.    [bbe]  But if anyone has been a cause of sorrow, he has been so, not to me only, but in some measure to all of you (I say this that I may not be over-hard on you).2:6 [hgb]  这 样 的 人 ， 受 了 众 人 的 责 罚 ， 也 就 够 了 。    [kjv]  Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.    [bbe]  Let it be enough for such a man to have undergone the punishment which the church put on him;2:7 [hgb]  倒 不 如 赦 免 他 ， 安 慰 他 ， 免 得 他 忧 愁 太 过 ， 甚 至 沉 沦 了 。    [kjv]  So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.    [bbe]  So that now, on the other hand, it is right for him to have forgiveness and comfort from you, for fear that his sorrow may be over-great.2:8 [hgb]  所 以 我 劝 你 们 ， 要 向 他 显 出 坚 定 不 移 的 爱 心 来 。    [kjv]  Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.    [bbe]  For which cause my desire is that you will make your love to him clear by your acts.2:9 [hgb]  为 此 我 先 前 也 写 信 给 你 们 ， 要 试 验 你 们 ， 看 你 们 凡 事 顺 从 不 顺 从 。    [kjv]  For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.    [bbe]  And for the same reason I sent you a letter so that I might be certain of your desire to do my orders in all things.2:10 [hgb]  你 们 赦 免 谁 ， 我 也 赦 免 谁 ， 我 若 有 所 赦 免 的 ， 是 在 基 督 面 前 为 你 们 赦 免 的 。    [kjv]  To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;    [bbe]  But if you give forgiveness to anyone, I do the same: for if I have given forgiveness for anything, I have done it because of you, in the person of Christ;2:11 [hgb]  免 得 撒 但 趁 着 机 会 胜 过 我 们 。 因 我 们 并 非 不 晓 得 他 的 诡 计 。    [kjv]  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.    [bbe]  So that Satan may not get the better of us: for we are not without knowledge of his designs.2:12 [hgb]  我 从 前 为 基 督 的 福 音 到 了 特 罗 亚 ， 主 也 给 我 开 了 门 。    [kjv]  Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,    [bbe]  Now when I came to Troas for the good news of Christ, and there was an open door for me in the Lord,2:13 [hgb]  那 时 因 为 没 有 遇 见 兄 弟 提 多 ， 我 心 里 不 安 ， 便 辞 别 那 里 的 人 往 马 其 顿 去 了 。    [kjv]  I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.    [bbe]  I had no rest in my spirit because Titus my brother was not there: so I went away from them, and came into Macedonia.2:14 [hgb]  感 谢 神 ， 常 帅 领 我 们 在 基 督 里 夸 胜 ， 并 借 着 我 们 在 各 处 显 扬 那 因 认 识 基 督 而 有 的 香 气 。    [kjv]  Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.    [bbe]  But praise be to God who makes us strong to overcome in Christ, and makes clear through us in every place the value of the knowledge of him.2:15 [hgb]  因 为 我 们 在 神 面 前 ， 无 论 在 得 救 的 人 身 上 ， 或 灭 亡 的 人 身 上 ， 都 有 基 督 馨 香 之 气 。    [kjv]  For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:    [bbe]  For we are a sweet perfume of Christ to God in those who are getting salvation and in those who are going to destruction;2:16 [hgb]  在 这 等 人 ， 就 作 了 死 的 香 气 叫 他 死 。 在 那 等 人 ， 就 作 了 活 的 香 气 叫 他 活 。 这 事 谁 能 当 得 起 呢 ？    [kjv]  To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?    [bbe]  To the one it is a perfume of death to death; to the other a perfume of life to life. And who is enough for such things?2:17 [hgb]  我 们 不 像 那 许 多 人 ， 为 利 混 乱 神 的 道 。 乃 是 由 于 诚 实 ， 由 于 神 ， 在 神 面 前 凭 着 基 督 讲 道 。    [kjv]  For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.    [bbe]  For we are not like the great number who make use of the word of God for profit: but our words are true, as from God, being said as before God in Christ.
Chapter 3
3:1 [hgb]  我 们 岂 是 又 举 荐 自 己 吗 ？ 岂 像 别 人 ， 用 人 的 荐 信 给 你 们 ， 或 用 你 们 的 荐 信 给 人 吗 ？    [kjv]  Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?    [bbe]  Do we seem to be again attempting to put ourselves in the right? or have we need, as some have, of letters of approval to you or from you?3:2 [hgb]  你 们 就 是 我 们 的 荐 信 ， 写 在 我 们 的 心 里 ， 被 众 人 所 知 道 所 念 诵 的 。    [kjv]  Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:    [bbe]  You yourselves are our letter, whose writing is in our heart, open for every man's reading and knowledge;3:3 [hgb]  你 们 明 显 是 基 督 的 信 ， 借 着 我 们 修 成 的 。 不 是 用 墨 写 的 ， 乃 是 用 永 生 神 的 灵 写 的 。 不 是 写 在 石 版 上 ， 乃 是 写 在 心 版 上 。    [kjv]  Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.    [bbe]  For you are clearly a letter of Christ, the fruit of our work, recorded not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in stone, but in hearts of flesh.3:4 [hgb]  我 们 因 基 督 所 以 在 神 面 前 才 有 这 样 的 信 心 ，    [kjv]  And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:    [bbe]  And this is the certain faith which we have in God through Christ:3:5 [hgb]  并 不 是 我 们 凭 自 己 能 承 担 什 么 事 ， 我 们 所 能 承 担 的 ， 乃 是 出 于 神 。    [kjv]  Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;    [bbe]  Not as if we were able by ourselves to do anything for which we might take the credit; but our power comes from God;3:6 [hgb]  他 叫 我 们 能 承 当 这 新 约 的 执 事 。 不 是 凭 着 字 句 ， 乃 是 凭 着 精 意 。 因 为 那 字 句 是 叫 人 死 ， 精 意 是 叫 人 活 。 （ 精 意 或 作 圣 灵 ） 。    [kjv]  Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.    [bbe]  Who has made us able to be servants of a new agreement; not of the letter, but of the Spirit: for the letter gives death, but the Spirit gives life.3:7 [hgb]  那 用 字 刻 在 石 头 上 属 死 的 职 事 ， 尚 且 有 荣 光 ， 甚 至 以 色 列 人 因 摩 西 面 上 的 荣 光 ， 不 能 定 睛 看 他 的 脸 。 这 荣 光 原 是 渐 渐 退 去 的 。    [kjv]  But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:    [bbe]  For if the operation of the law, giving death, recorded in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the eyes of the children of Israel had to be turned away from the face of Moses because of its glory, a glory which was only for a time:3:8 [hgb]  何 况 那 属 灵 的 职 事 ， 岂 不 更 有 荣 光 吗 ？    [kjv]  How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?    [bbe]  Will not the operation of the Spirit have a much greater glory?3:9 [hgb]  若 是 定 罪 的 职 事 有 荣 光 ， 那 称 义 的 职 事 ， 荣 光 就 越 发 大 了 。    [kjv]  For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.    [bbe]  For if the operation of the law, producing punishment, had its glory, how much greater will be the operation of the Spirit causing righteousness?3:10 [hgb]  那 从 前 有 荣 光 的 ， 因 这 极 大 的 荣 光 ， 就 算 不 得 有 荣 光 了 。    [kjv]  For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.    [bbe]  For the glory of the first no longer seems to be glory, because of the greater glory of that which comes after.3:11 [hgb]  若 那 废 掉 的 有 荣 光 ， 这 长 存 的 就 更 有 荣 光 了 。    [kjv]  For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.    [bbe]  For if the order which was for a time had its glory, much more will the eternal order have its glory.3:12 [hgb]  我 们 既 有 这 样 的 盼 望 ， 就 大 胆 讲 说 ，    [kjv]  Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:    [bbe]  Having then such a hope, we keep nothing back,3:13 [hgb]  不 像 摩 西 将 帕 子 蒙 在 脸 上 ， 叫 以 色 列 人 不 能 定 睛 看 到 那 将 废 者 的 结 局 。    [kjv]  And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:    [bbe]  And are not like Moses, who put a veil on his face, so that the children of Israel might not see clearly to the end of the present order of things:3:14 [hgb]  但 他 们 的 心 地 刚 硬 。 直 到 今 日 诵 读 旧 约 的 时 候 ， 这 帕 子 还 没 有 揭 去 。 这 帕 子 在 基 督 里 已 经 废 去 了 。    [kjv]  But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.    [bbe]  But their minds were made hard: for to this very day at the reading of the old agreement the same veil is still unlifted; though it is taken away in Christ.3:15 [hgb]  然 而 直 到 今 日 ， 每 逢 诵 读 摩 西 书 的 时 候 ， 帕 子 还 在 他 们 心 上 。    [kjv]  But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.    [bbe]  But to this day, at the reading of the law of Moses, a veil is over their heart.3:16 [hgb]  但 他 们 的 心 几 时 归 向 主 ， 帕 子 就 几 时 除 去 了 。    [kjv]  Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Chapter 4

Chapter 7

Chapter 8
8:1 [hgb]  弟 兄 们 ， 我 把 神 赐 给 马 其 顿 众 教 会 的 恩 告 诉 你 们 。    [kjv]  Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;    [bbe]  And now we give you news, brothers, about the grace of God which has been given to the churches of Macedonia;8:2 [hgb]  就 是 他 们 在 患 难 中 受 大 试 炼 的 时 候 ， 仍 有 满 足 的 快 乐 ， 在 极 穷 之 间 ， 还 格 外 显 出 他 们 乐 捐 的 厚 恩 。    [kjv]  How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. Chapter 9
9:1 [hgb]  论 到 供 给 圣 徒 的 事 ， 我 不 必 写 信 给 你 们 。    [kjv]  For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:    [bbe]  But there is no need for me to say anything in my letter about the giving to the saints:9:2 [hgb]  因 为 我 知 道 你 们 乐 意 的 心 ， 常 对 马 其 顿 人 夸 奖 你 们 ， 说 亚 该 亚 人 预 备 好 了 ， 已 经 有 一 年 了 。 并 且 你 们 的 热 心 激 动 了 许 多 人 。    [kjv]  For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.    [bbe]  For I have before made clear to those of Macedonia my pride in your ready mind, saying to them that Achaia has been ready for a year back; and a great number have been moved to do the same by your example.9:3 [hgb]  但 我 打 发 那 几 位 弟 兄 去 ， 要 叫 你 们 照 我 的 话 预 备 妥 当 。 免 得 我 们 在 这 事 上 夸 奖 你 们 的 话 落 了 空 。    [kjv]  Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:    [bbe]  But I have sent the brothers, so that the good things we said about you may be seen to be true, and that, as I said, you may be ready:9:4 [hgb]  万 一 有 马 其 顿 人 与 我 同 去 ， 见 你 们 没 有 预 备 ， 就 叫 我 们 所 确 信 的 ， 反 成 了 羞 愧 。 你 们 羞 愧 ， 更 不 用 说 了 。    [kjv]  Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.    [bbe]  For fear that, if any from Macedonia come with me, and you are not ready, we (not to say, you) might be put to shame in this thing.9:5 [hgb]  因 此 我 想 不 得 不 求 那 几 位 弟 兄 ， 先 到 你 们 那 里 去 ， 把 从 前 所 应 许 的 捐 赀 ， 预 备 妥 当 ， 就 显 出 你 们 所 捐 的 ， 是 出 于 乐 意 ， 不 是 出 于 勉 强 。    [kjv]  Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.    [bbe]  So it seemed to me wise for the brothers to go before, and see that the amount which you had undertaken to give was ready, so that it might be a cause for praise, and not as if we were making profit out of you.9:6 [hgb]  少 种 的 少 收 ， 多 种 的 多 收 。 这 话 是 真 的 。    [kjv]  But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Chapter 11

Chapter 12

Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. [bbe]  For what is there in which you were made less than the other churches, but in the one thing that I was not a trouble to you? Chapter 13

In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.    [bbe]  This is the third time that I am coming to you. From the mouth of two or three witnesses will every word be made certain.13:2 [hgb]  我 从 前 说 过 ， 如 今 不 在 你 们 那 里 又 说 ， 正 如 我 第 二 次 见 你 们 的 时 候 所 说 的 一 样 ， 就 是 对 那 犯 了 罪 的 ， 和 其 余 的 人 说 ， 我 若 再 来 必 不 宽 容 。    [kjv]  I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:    [bbe]  I said before, and still say it before I come, as being present for the second time, though I am still away from you, to those who have done wrong before, and to all the others, that if I come again I will not have pity;13:3 [hgb]  你 们 既 然 寻 求 基 督 在 我 里 面 说 话 的 凭 据 ， 我 必 不 宽 容 。 因 为 基 督 在 你 们 身 上 ， 不 是 软 弱 的 。 在 你 们 里 面 ， 是 有 大 能 的 。    [kjv]  Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.    [bbe]  Seeing that you are looking for a sign of Christ giving out his word in me; who is not feeble in relation to you, but is strong in you:13:4 [hgb]  他 因 软 弱 被 钉 在 十 字 架 上 ， 却 因 神 的 大 能 ， 仍 然 活 着 。 我 们 也 是 这 样 同 他 软 弱 ， 但 因 神 向 你 们 所 显 的 大 能 ， 也 必 与 他 同 活 。    [kjv]  For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.    [bbe]  For he was feeble in that he was put to death on the cross, but he is living by the power of God. And we are feeble in him, but we will be living with him through the power of God in relation to you.13:5 [hgb]  你 们 总 要 自 己 省 察 有 信 心 没 有 。 也 要 自 己 试 验 。 岂 不 知 你 们 若 不 是 可 弃 绝 的 ， 就 有 耶 稣 基 督 在 你 们 心 里 吗 ？    [kjv]  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?    [bbe]  Make a test of yourselves, if you are in the faith; make certain of yourselves. Or are you not conscious in yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you, if you are truly Christ's?13:6 [hgb]  我 却 盼 望 你 们 晓 得 我 们 不 是 可 弃 绝 的 人 。    [kjv]  But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.    [bbe]  But it is my hope that you will have no doubt that we are truly Christ's.13:7 [hgb]  我 们 求 神 ， 叫 你 们 一 件 恶 事 都 不 作 。 这 不 是 要 显 明 我 们 是 蒙 悦 纳 的 ， 是 要 你 们 行 事 端 正 ， 任 凭 人 看 我 们 是 被 弃 绝 的 吧 。    [kjv]  Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.    [bbe]  Now our prayer to God is that you may do no evil; not in order that it may be put to our credit, but so that you may do what is right, whatever we may seem.13:8 [hgb]  我 们 凡 事 不 能 敌 挡 真 理 ， 只 能 扶 助 真 理 。    [kjv]  For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.    [bbe]  Because we are able to do nothing against what is true, but only for it.13:9 [hgb]  即 使 我 们 软 弱 ， 你 们 刚 强 ， 我 们 也 欢 喜 。 并 且 我 们 所 求 的 ， 就 是 你 们 作 完 全 人 。    [kjv]  For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.    [bbe]  For we are glad when we are feeble and you are strong: and this is our prayer, even that you may be made complete.13:10 [hgb]  所 以 我 不 在 你 们 那 里 的 时 候 ， 把 这 话 写 给 你 们 ， 好 叫 我 见 你 们 的 时 候 ， 不 用 照 主 所 给 我 的 权 柄 ， 严 厉 地 待 你 们 。 这 权 柄 原 是 为 造 就 人 ， 并 不 是 为 败 坏 人 。    [kjv]  Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.
