Chapter 1 1:1 [hgb] 神 既 在 古 时 借 着 众 先 知 , 多 次 多 方 的 晓 谕 列 祖 , [kjv] God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, [bbe] In times past the word of God came to our fathers through the prophets, in different parts and in different ways; 1:2 [hgb] 就 在 这 末 世 , 借 着 他 儿 子 晓 谕 我 们 , 又 早 已 立 他 为 承 受 万 有 的 , 也 曾 借 着 他 创 造 诸 世 界 。 [kjv] Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; [bbe] But now, at the end of these days, it has come to us through his Son, to whom he has given all things for a heritage, and through whom he made the order of the generations; 1:3 [hgb] 他 是 神 荣 耀 所 发 的 光 辉 , 是 神 本 体 的 真 像 , 常 用 他 权 能 的 命 令 托 住 万 有 , 他 洗 净 了 人 的 罪 , 就 坐 在 高 天 至 大 者 的 右 边 。 [kjv] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; [bbe] Who, being the outshining of his glory, the true image of his substance, supporting all things by the word of his power, having given himself as an offering making clean from sins, took his seat at the right hand of God in heaven; 1:4 [hgb] 他 所 承 受 的 名 , 既 比 天 使 的 名 更 尊 贵 , 就 远 超 过 天 使 。 [kjv] Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. [bbe] Having become by so much better than the angels, as the name which is his heritage is more noble than theirs. [kjv] For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? [bbe] To which of the angels did God say at any time, You are my Son, this day I have given you being? or, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son? 1:6 [hgb] 再 者 , 神 使 长 子 到 世 上 来 的 时 候 , ( 或 作 神 再 使 长 子 到 世 上 来 的 时 候 ) 就 说 , 神 的 使 者 都 要 拜 他 。 [kjv] And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. [bbe] And again, when he is sending his only Son into the world, he says, Let all the angels of God give him worship. [kjv] And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. [bbe] And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire: 1:8 [hgb] 论 到 子 却 说 , 神 阿 , 你 的 宝 座 是 永 永 远 远 的 , 你 的 国 权 是 正 直 的 。 [kjv] But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. [bbe] But of the Son he says, Your seat of power, O God, is for ever and ever; and the rod of your kingdom is a rod of righteousness. [kjv] Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. [bbe] You have been a lover of righteousness and a hater of evil; and so God, your God, has put the oil of joy on your head more than on the heads of those who are with you. [kjv] And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: [bbe] You, Lord, at the first did put the earth on its base, and the heavens are the works of your hands: 1:11 [hgb] 天 地 都 要 灭 没 , 你 却 要 长 存 。 [kjv] They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; [bbe] They will come to their end; but you are for ever; they will become old as a robe; 1:12 [hgb] 你 要 将 天 地 卷 起 来 , 像 一 件 外 衣 , 天 地 就 都 改 变 了 。 [kjv] And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. [bbe] They will be rolled up like a cloth, even like a robe, and they will be changed: but you are the same and your years will have no end. [kjv] But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? [bbe] But of which of the angels has he said at any time, Take your seat at my right hand till I put all those who are against you under your feet? [kjv] Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? [bbe] Are they not all helping spirits, who are sent out as servants to those whose heritage will be salvation? [kjv] Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. [bbe] For this reason there is the more need for us to give attention to the things which have come to our ears, for fear that by chance we might be slipping away. [kjv] For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; [bbe] Because if the word which came through the angels was fixed, and in the past every evil act against God's orders was given its full punishment; 2:3 [hgb] 我 们 若 忽 略 这 么 大 的 救 恩 , 怎 能 逃 罪 呢 ? [kjv] How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; [bbe] What will come on us, if we do not give our minds to such a great salvation? a salvation of which our fathers first had knowledge through the words of the Lord, and which was made certain to us by those to whom his words came; 2:4 [hgb] 神 又 按 自 己 的 旨 意 , 用 神 迹 奇 事 , 和 百 般 的 异 能 , 并 圣 灵 的 恩 赐 , 同 他 们 作 见 证 。 [kjv] God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? [bbe] And God was a witness with them, by signs and wonders, and by more than natural powers, and by his distribution of the Holy Spirit at his pleasure. [kjv] For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. [bbe] For he did not make the angels rulers over the world to come, of which I am writing. [kjv] But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? [bbe] But a certain writer has given his witness, saying, What is man, that you keep him in mind? what is the son of man, that you take him into account? [kjv] Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: [bbe] You made him a little lower than the angels; you gave him a crown of glory and honour, and made him ruler over all the works of your hands: 2:8 [hgb] 叫 万 物 都 服 在 他 的 脚 下 。 [kjv] Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. [bbe] You put all things under his feet. For in making man the ruler over all things, God did not put anything outside his authority; though we do not see everything under him now. [kjv] But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. [bbe] But we see him who was made a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, crowned with glory and honour, because he let himself be put to death so that by the grace of God he might undergo death for all men. [kjv] For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. [bbe] Because it was right for him, for whom and through whom all things have being, in guiding his sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation complete through pain. 所 以 他 称 他 们 为 弟 兄 , 也 不 以 为 耻 , [kjv] For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, [bbe] For he who makes holy and those who are made holy are all of one family; and for this reason it is no shame for him to give them the name of brothers, 2:12 [hgb] 说 , 我 要 将 你 的 名 传 与 我 的 弟 兄 , 在 会 中 我 要 颂 扬 你 。 [kjv] Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. [bbe] Saying, I will give the knowledge of your name to my brothers, I will make a song of praise to you before the church. [kjv] And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. [bbe] And again he says, I will put my faith in him. And again, See, I am here, and the children which God has given to me. 2:14 [hgb] 儿 女 既 同 有 血 肉 之 体 , 他 也 照 样 亲 自 成 了 血 肉 之 体 。 [kjv] Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; [bbe] And because the children are flesh and blood, he took a body himself and became like them; so that by his death he might put an end to him who had the power of death, that is to say, the Evil One; 2:15 [hgb] 并 要 释 放 那 些 一 生 因 怕 死 而 为 奴 仆 的 人 。 [kjv] And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. [bbe] And let those who all their lives were in chains because of their fear of death, go free. [kjv] For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. [bbe] For, truly, he does not take on the life of angels, but that of the seed of Abraham. [kjv] Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. [bbe] Because of this it was necessary for him to be made like his brothers in every way, so that he might be a high priest full of mercy and keeping faith in everything to do with God, making offerings for the sins of the people. [kjv] For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. [bbe] For having been put to the test himself, he is able to give help to others when they are tested. [kjv] Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; [bbe] For this reason, holy brothers, marked out to have a part in heaven, give thought to Jesus the representative and high priest of our faith; 3:2 [hgb] 他 为 那 设 立 他 的 尽 忠 , 如 同 摩 西 在 神 的 全 家 尽 忠 一 样 。 [kjv] Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. [bbe] Who kept faith with God who gave him his place, even as Moses did in all his house. [kjv] For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. [bbe] And it was right for this man to have more honour than Moses, even as the builder of a house has more honour than the house. [kjv] For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. [bbe] For every house has a builder; but the builder of all things is God. 3:5 [hgb] 摩 西 为 仆 人 , 在 神 的 全 家 诚 然 尽 忠 , 为 要 证 明 将 来 必 传 说 的 事 。 [kjv] And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; [bbe] And Moses certainly kept faith as a servant, in all his house, and as a witness of those things which were to be said later; 3:6 [hgb] 但 基 督 为 儿 子 , 治 理 神 的 家 。 [kjv] But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. [bbe] But Christ as a son, over his house; whose house are we, if we keep our hearts fixed in the glad and certain hope till the end. 3:7 [hgb] 圣 灵 有 话 说 , 你 们 今 日 若 听 他 的 话 , [kjv] Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, [bbe] And so, as the Holy Spirit says, Today if you let his voice come to your ears, 3:8 [hgb] 就 不 可 硬 着 心 , 像 在 旷 野 惹 他 发 怒 , 试 探 他 的 时 候 一 样 。 [kjv] Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: [bbe] Be not hard of heart, as when you made me angry, on the day of testing in the waste land, 3:9 [hgb] 在 那 里 , 你 们 的 祖 宗 试 我 探 我 , 并 且 观 看 我 的 作 为 , 有 四 十 年 之 久 。 [kjv] When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. [bbe] When your fathers put me to the test, and saw my works for forty years. [kjv] Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. [bbe] So that I was angry with this generation, and I said, Their hearts are in error at all times, and they have no knowledge of my ways; 3:11 [hgb] 我 就 在 怒 中 起 誓 说 , 他 们 断 不 可 进 入 我 的 安 息 。 [kjv] So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) [bbe] And being angry I made an oath, saying, They may not come into my rest. [kjv] Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. [bbe] My brothers, take care that there is not by chance in any one of you an evil heart without belief, turning away from the living God: 3:13 [hgb] 总 要 趁 着 还 有 今 日 , 天 天 彼 此 相 劝 , 免 得 你 们 中 间 , 有 人 被 罪 迷 惑 , 心 里 就 刚 硬 了 。 [kjv] But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. [bbe] But give comfort to one another every day as long as it is still Today; so that no one among you may be made hard by the deceit of sin: 3:14 [hgb] 我 们 若 将 起 初 确 实 的 信 心 , 坚 持 到 底 , 就 在 基 督 里 有 分 了 。 [kjv] For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; [bbe] For if we keep the substance of the faith which we had at the start, even till the end, we have a part with Christ; 3:15 [hgb] 经 上 说 , 你 们 今 日 若 听 他 的 话 , 就 不 可 硬 着 心 , 像 惹 他 发 怒 的 日 子 一 样 。 [kjv] While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. [bbe] As it is said, Today if you will let his voice come to your ears, be not hard of heart, as when you made him angry. [kjv] For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. [bbe] Who made him angry when his voice came to them? was it not all those who came out of Egypt with Moses? [kjv] But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? [bbe] And with whom was he angry for forty years? was it not with those who did evil, who came to their deaths in the waste land? [kjv] And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? [bbe] And to whom did he make an oath that they might not come into his rest? was it not to those who went against his orders? [kjv] So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. [bbe] So we see that they were not able to go in because they had no belief. [kjv] Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. [bbe] Let us then, though we still have God's word that we may come into his rest, go in fear that some of you may be unable to do so. 4:2 [hgb] 因 为 有 福 音 传 给 我 们 , 像 传 给 他 们 一 样 。 [kjv] For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. [bbe] And, truly, the good news came to us, even as it did to them; but the hearing of the word did them no good, because they were not united in faith with the true hearers. [kjv] For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. [bbe] For those of us who have belief come into his rest; even as he has said, As I said in my oath when I was angry, They may not come into my rest: though the works were done from the time of the making of the world. [kjv] For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. [bbe] For in one place he has said of the seventh day, And God had rest from all his works on the seventh day; 4:5 [hgb] 又 有 一 处 说 , 他 们 断 不 可 进 入 我 的 安 息 。 [kjv] And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. [bbe] And in the same place he says again, They will not come into my rest. [kjv] Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: [bbe] So that as it is clear that some have to go in, and that the first hearers of the good news were not able to go in because they went against God's orders, 4:7 [hgb] 所 以 过 了 多 年 , 就 在 大 卫 的 书 上 , 又 限 定 一 日 , 如 以 上 所 引 的 说 , 你 们 今 日 若 听 他 的 话 , 就 不 可 硬 着 心 。 [kjv] Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. [bbe] After a long time, again naming a certain day, he says in David, Today (as he had said before), Today if you will let his voice come to your ears, be not hard of heart, 4:8 [hgb] 若 是 约 书 亚 已 叫 他 们 享 了 安 息 , 后 来 神 就 不 再 提 别 的 日 子 了 。 [kjv] For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. [bbe] For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have said anything about another day. [kjv] There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. [bbe] So that there is still a Sabbath-keeping for the people of God. 4:10 [hgb] 因 为 那 进 入 安 息 的 , 乃 是 歇 了 自 己 的 工 , 正 如 神 歇 了 他 的 工 一 样 。 [kjv] For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. [bbe] For the man who comes into his rest has had rest from his works, as God did from his. [kjv] Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. [bbe] Because of this, let us have a strong desire to come into that rest, and let no one go after the example of those who went against God's orders. [kjv] For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. [bbe] For the word of God is living and full of power, and is sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through and making a division even of the soul and the spirit, the bones and the muscles, and quick to see the thoughts and purposes of the heart. [kjv] Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. [bbe] And there is nothing made which is not completely clear to him; there is nothing covered, but all things are open to the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 4:14 [hgb] 我 们 既 然 有 一 位 已 经 升 入 高 天 尊 荣 的 大 祭 司 , 就 是 神 的 儿 子 耶 稣 , 便 当 持 定 所 承 认 的 道 。 [kjv] Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. [bbe] Having then a great high priest, who has made his way through the heavens, even Jesus the Son of God, let us be strong in our faith. [kjv] For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. [bbe] For we have not a high priest who is not able to be touched by the feelings of our feeble flesh; but we have one who has been tested in all points as we ourselves are tested, but without sin. [kjv] Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. [bbe] Then let us come near to the seat of grace without fear, so that mercy may be given to us, and we may get grace for our help in time of need. ( 或 作 要 为 罪 献 上 礼 物 和 祭 物 ) [kjv] For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: [bbe] Every high priest who is taken from among men is given his position to take care of the interests of men in those things which have to do with God, so that he may make offerings for sins. [kjv] Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity. [bbe] He is able to have feeling for those who have no knowledge and for those who are wandering from the true way, because he himself is feeble; 5:3 [hgb] 故 此 他 理 当 为 百 姓 和 自 己 献 祭 赎 罪 。 [kjv] And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins. [bbe] And being feeble, he has to make sin-offerings for himself as well as for the people. [kjv] And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. [bbe] And no man who is not given authority by God, as Aaron was, takes this honour for himself. [kjv] So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. [bbe] In the same way Christ did not take for himself the glory of being made a high priest, but was given it by him who said, You are my Son, this day I have given you being: 5:6 [hgb] 就 如 经 上 又 有 一 处 说 , 你 是 照 着 麦 基 洗 德 的 等 次 永 远 为 祭 司 。 [kjv] As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. [bbe] As he says in another place, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. [kjv] Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; [bbe] Who in the days of his flesh, having sent up prayers and requests with strong crying and weeping to him who was able to give him salvation from death, had his prayer answered because of his fear of God. 5:8 [hgb] 他 虽 然 为 儿 子 , 还 是 因 所 受 的 苦 难 学 了 顺 从 。 [kjv] Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; [bbe] And though he was a Son, through the pain which he underwent, the knowledge came to him of what it was to be under God's orders; 5:9 [hgb] 他 既 得 以 完 全 , 就 为 凡 顺 从 他 的 人 , 成 了 永 远 得 救 的 根 源 。 [kjv] And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; [bbe] And when he had been made complete, he became the giver of eternal salvation to all those who are under his orders; 5:10 [hgb] 并 蒙 神 照 着 麦 基 洗 德 的 等 次 称 他 为 大 祭 司 。 [kjv] Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. [bbe] Being named by God a high priest of the order of Melchizedek. [kjv] Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. [bbe] Of whom we have much to say which it is hard to make clear, because you are slow of hearing. [kjv] For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. [bbe] And though by this time it would be right for you to be teachers, you still have need of someone to give you teaching about the first simple rules of God's revelation; you have become like babies who have need of milk, and not of solid food. [kjv] For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. [bbe] For everyone who takes milk is without experience of the word of righteousness: he is a child. [kjv] But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. [bbe] But solid food is for men of full growth, even for those whose senses are trained by use to see what is good and what is evil. 不 必 再 立 根 基 , 就 如 那 懊 悔 死 行 , 信 靠 神 , [kjv] Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, [bbe] For this reason let us go on from the first things about Christ to full growth; not building again that on which it is based, that is, the turning of the heart from dead works, and faith in God, 6:2 [hgb] 各 样 洗 礼 , 按 手 之 礼 , 死 人 复 活 , 以 及 永 远 审 判 , 各 等 教 训 。 [kjv] Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. [bbe] The teaching of baptisms, and of the putting on of hands, and of the future life of the dead, and of the judging on the last day. [kjv] And this will we do, if God permit. [bbe] Now we will do this, if God lets us. 6:4 [hgb] 论 到 那 些 已 经 蒙 了 光 照 , 尝 过 天 恩 的 滋 味 , 又 于 圣 灵 有 分 , [kjv] For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, [bbe] As for those who at one time saw the light, tasting the good things from heaven, and having their part in the Holy Spirit, 6:5 [hgb] 并 尝 过 神 善 道 的 滋 味 , 觉 悟 来 世 权 能 的 人 , [kjv] And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, [bbe] With knowledge of the good word of God, and of the powers of the coming time, 6:6 [hgb] 若 是 离 弃 道 理 , 就 不 能 叫 他 们 从 新 懊 悔 了 。 [kjv] If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. [bbe] And then let themselves be turned away, it is not possible for their hearts to be made new a second time; because they themselves put the Son of God on the cross again, openly shaming him. [kjv] For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: [bbe] For a land, drinking in the frequent rain and producing good plants for those for whom it is worked, has a blessing from God: 6:8 [hgb] 若 长 荆 棘 和 蒺 藜 , 必 被 废 弃 , 近 于 咒 诅 , 结 局 就 是 焚 烧 。 [kjv] But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. [bbe] But if it sends up thorns and evil plants, it is of no use and is ready to be cursed; its only end is to be burned. [kjv] But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. [bbe] But, my loved ones, though we say this, we are certain that you have better things in you, things which go with salvation; 6:10 [hgb] 因 为 神 并 非 不 公 义 , 竟 忘 记 你 们 所 作 的 工 , 和 你 们 为 他 名 所 显 的 爱 心 , 就 是 先 前 伺 候 圣 徒 , 如 今 还 是 伺 候 。 [kjv] For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. [bbe] For God is true, and will not put away from him the memory of your work and of your love for his name, in the help which you gave and still give to the saints. [kjv] And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: [bbe] And it is our desire that you may all keep the same high purpose in certain hope to the end: 6:12 [hgb] 并 且 不 懈 怠 。 [kjv] That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. [bbe] So that you may not be slow in heart, but may take as your example those to whom God has given their heritage, because of their faith and their long waiting. 6:13 [hgb] 当 初 神 应 许 亚 伯 拉 罕 的 时 候 , 因 为 没 有 比 自 己 更 大 可 以 指 着 起 誓 的 , 就 指 着 自 己 起 誓 说 , [kjv] For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, [bbe] For when God made his oath to Abraham, because there was no greater oath, he made it by himself, 6:14 [hgb] 论 福 , 我 必 赐 大 福 给 你 。 [kjv] Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. [bbe] Saying, Be certain that I will give you my blessing, and make your numbers very great. [kjv] And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. [bbe] And so, when he had been waiting calmly for a long time, God's word to him was put into effect. [kjv] For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife. [bbe] For men at all times make their oaths by what is greater; and any argument is ended by the decision of the oath. [kjv] Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: [bbe] So that when it was God's desire to make it specially clear to those who by his word were to have the heritage, that his purpose was fixed, he made it more certain with an oath; 6:18 [hgb] 借 这 两 件 不 更 改 的 事 , 神 决 不 能 说 谎 , 好 叫 我 们 这 逃 往 避 难 所 , 持 定 摆 在 我 们 前 头 指 望 的 人 , 可 以 大 得 勉 励 。 [kjv] That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: [bbe] So that we, who have gone in flight from danger to the hope which has been put before us, may have a strong comfort in two unchanging things, in which it is not possible for God to be false; 6:19 [hgb] 我 们 有 这 指 望 如 同 灵 魂 的 锚 , 又 坚 固 又 牢 靠 , 且 通 入 幔 内 。 [kjv] Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; [bbe] And this hope is like a strong band for our souls, fixed and certain, and going in to that which is inside the veil; 6:20 [hgb] 作 先 锋 的 耶 稣 , 既 照 着 麦 基 洗 德 的 等 次 , 成 了 永 远 的 大 祭 司 , 就 为 我 们 进 入 幔 内 。 [kjv] Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. [bbe] Where Jesus has gone before us, as a high priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. [kjv] For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; [bbe] For this Melchizedek, the king of Salem, a priest of the Most High God, who gave Abraham his blessing, meeting him when he came back after putting the kings to death, 7:2 [hgb] 亚 伯 拉 罕 也 将 自 己 所 得 来 的 取 十 分 之 一 给 他 。 [kjv] To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; [bbe] And to whom Abraham gave a tenth part of everything which he had, being first named King of righteousness, and then in addition, King of Salem, that is to say, King of peace; 7:3 [hgb] 他 无 父 , 无 母 , 无 族 谱 , 无 生 之 始 , 无 命 之 终 , 乃 是 与 神 的 儿 子 相 似 。 [kjv] Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. [bbe] Being without father or mother, or family, having no birth or end to his life, being made like the Son of God, is a priest for ever. [kjv] Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. [bbe] Now see how great this man was, to whom our father Abraham gave a tenth part of what he had got in the fight. 7:5 [hgb] 那 得 祭 司 职 任 的 利 未 子 孙 , 领 命 照 例 向 百 姓 取 十 分 之 一 , 这 百 姓 是 自 己 的 弟 兄 , 虽 是 从 亚 伯 拉 罕 身 中 生 的 , ( 身 原 文 作 腰 ) , 还 是 照 例 取 十 分 之 一 [kjv] And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: [bbe] And it is true that by the law, those of the sons of Levi who have the position of priests may take a tenth part of the people's goods; that is to say, they take it from their brothers though these are the sons of Abraham. [kjv] But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. [bbe] But this man, who was not of their family, took the tenth from Abraham, and gave a blessing to him to whom God had given his undertaking. [kjv] And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. [bbe] But there is no doubt that the less gets his blessing from the greater. [kjv] And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. [bbe] Now at the present time, men over whom death has power take the tenth; but then it was taken by one of whom it is witnessed that he is living. [kjv] And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. [bbe] And we may say that in Abraham, even Levi, who has a right to take the tenth part, gave it; 7:10 [hgb] 因 为 麦 基 洗 德 迎 接 亚 伯 拉 罕 的 时 候 , 利 未 已 经 在 他 先 祖 的 身 中 。 ( 身 原 文 作 腰 ) [kjv] For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him. [bbe] Because he was still in his father's body when Melchizedek came to him. [kjv] If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? [bbe] Now if it was possible for things to be made complete through the priests of the house of Levi (for the law was given to the people in connection with them), what need was there for another priest who was of the order of Melchizedek and not of the order of Aaron? [kjv] For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. [bbe] Because if the priests are changed, it is necessary to make a change in the law. [kjv] For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. [bbe] For he of whom these things are said comes of another tribe, of which no man has ever made offerings at the altar. [kjv] For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. [bbe] Because it is clear that our Lord comes out of Judah, and Moses said nothing about priests from that tribe. [kjv] And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, [bbe] And this is even more clear if a second priest has come up who is like Melchizedek, 7:16 [hgb] 他 成 为 祭 司 , 并 不 是 照 属 肉 体 的 条 例 , 乃 是 照 无 穷 之 生 命 的 大 能 。 [kjv] Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. [bbe] That is to say, not made by a law based on the flesh, but by the power of a life without end: 7:17 [hgb] 因 为 有 给 他 作 见 证 的 说 , 你 是 照 着 麦 基 洗 德 的 等 次 永 远 为 祭 司 。 [kjv] For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. [bbe] For it has been witnessed of him, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. [kjv] For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. [bbe] So the law which went before is put on one side, because it was feeble and without profit. [kjv] For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. [bbe] (Because the law made nothing complete), and in its place there is a better hope, through which we come near to God. 7:20 [hgb] 再 者 , 耶 稣 为 祭 司 , 并 不 是 不 起 誓 立 的 。 [kjv] And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: [bbe] And as this is not without the taking of an oath 7:21 [hgb] 至 于 那 些 祭 司 , 原 不 是 起 誓 立 的 , 只 有 耶 稣 是 起 誓 立 的 。 [kjv] (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) [bbe] (For those were made priests without an oath, but this one was made a priest with an oath by him who says of him, The Lord gave his oath, which he will not take back, that you are a priest for ever); 7:22 [hgb] 既 是 起 誓 立 的 , 耶 稣 就 作 了 更 美 之 约 的 中 保 。 [kjv] By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. [bbe] By so much is it a better agreement which we have through Jesus. [kjv] And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: [bbe] And it is true that there have been a great number of those priests, because death does not let them go on for ever; 7:24 [hgb] 这 位 既 是 永 远 常 存 的 , 他 祭 司 的 职 任 , 就 长 久 不 更 换 。 [kjv] But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. [bbe] But this priest, because his life goes on for ever, is unchanging. [kjv] Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. [bbe] So that he is fully able to be the saviour of all who come to God through him, because he is ever living to make prayer to God for them. [kjv] For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; [bbe] It was right for us to have such a high priest, one who is holy and without evil, doing no wrong, having no part with sinners, and made higher than the heavens: 7:27 [hgb] 他 不 像 那 些 大 祭 司 , 每 日 必 须 先 为 自 己 的 罪 , 后 为 百 姓 的 罪 献 祭 , 因 为 他 只 一 次 将 自 己 献 上 , 就 把 这 事 成 全 了 。 [kjv] Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. [bbe] Who has no need to make offerings for sins every day, like those high priests, first for himself, and then for the people; because he did this once and for ever when he made an offering of himself. [kjv] For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. [bbe] The law makes high priests of men who are feeble; but the word of the oath, which was made after the law, gives that position to a Son, in whom all good is for ever complete. Chapter 8 8:1 [hgb] 我 们 所 讲 的 事 , 其 中 第 一 要 紧 的 , 就 是 我 们 有 这 样 的 大 祭 司 , 已 经 坐 在 天 上 至 大 者 宝 座 的 右 边 , [kjv] Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; [bbe] Now of the things we are saying this is the chief point: We have such a high priest, who has taken his place at the right hand of God's high seat of glory in heaven, 8:2 [hgb] 在 圣 所 , 就 是 真 帐 幕 里 , 作 执 事 。 [kjv] A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. [bbe] As a servant of the holy things and of the true Tent, which was put up by God, not by man. [kjv] For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. [bbe] Now every high priest is given authority to take to God the things which are given and to make offerings; so that it is necessary for this man, like them, to have something for an offering. [kjv] For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: [bbe] If he had been on earth he would not have been a priest at all, because there are other priests who make the offerings ordered by the law; 8:5 [hgb] 他 们 供 奉 的 事 , 本 是 天 上 事 的 形 状 和 影 像 , 正 如 摩 西 将 要 造 帐 幕 的 时 候 , 蒙 神 警 戒 他 , 说 , 你 要 谨 慎 , 作 各 样 的 物 件 , 都 要 照 着 在 山 上 指 示 你 的 样 式 。 [kjv] Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. [bbe] Being servants of that which is a copy and an image of the things in heaven, as Moses, when he was about to make the Tent, had special orders from God: for, See, he said, that you make everything like the design which you saw in the mountain. [kjv] But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. [bbe] But now his position as priest is higher. because through him God has made a better agreement with man, based on the giving of better things. [kjv] For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. [bbe] For if that first agreement had been as good as possible, there would have been no place for a second. [kjv] For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: [bbe] For, protesting against them, he says, See, the days are coming when I will make a new agreement with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah; 8:9 [hgb] 不 像 我 拉 着 他 们 祖 宗 的 手 , 领 他 们 出 埃 及 的 时 候 , 与 他 们 所 立 的 约 。 [kjv] Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. [bbe] Not like the agreement which I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand, to be their guide out of the land of Egypt; for they did not keep the agreement with me, and I gave them up, says the Lord. [kjv] For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: [bbe] For this is the agreement which I will make with the people of Israel after those days: I will put my laws into their minds, writing them in their hearts: and I will be their God, and they will be my people: 8:11 [hgb] 他 们 不 用 各 人 教 导 自 己 的 乡 邻 , 和 自 己 的 弟 兄 , 说 , 你 该 认 识 主 。 [kjv] And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. [bbe] And there will be no need for every man to be teaching his brother, or his neighbour, saying, This is the knowledge of the Lord: for they will all have knowledge of me, great and small. [kjv] For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. [bbe] And I will have mercy on their evil-doing, and I will not keep their sins in mind. [kjv] In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. [bbe] When he says, A new agreement, he has made the first agreement old. But anything which is getting old and past use will not be seen much longer. [kjv] Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. [bbe] Now the first agreement had its rules of worship, and a holy order. [kjv] For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary. [bbe] For the first Tent was made ready, having in it the vessels for the lights and the table and the ordering of the bread; and this is named the holy place. [kjv] And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; [bbe] And inside the second veil was the place which is named the Holy of holies; 9:4 [hgb] 有 金 香 炉 , ( 炉 或 作 坛 ) 有 包 金 的 约 柜 , 柜 里 有 盛 吗 哪 的 金 罐 , 和 亚 伦 发 过 芽 的 杖 , 并 两 块 约 版 。 [kjv] Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; [bbe] Having a vessel of gold in it for burning perfumes, and the ark of the agreement, which was covered with gold and which had in it a pot made of gold for the manna, and Aaron's rod which put out buds, and the stones with the writing of the agreement; 9:5 [hgb] 柜 上 面 有 荣 耀 基 路 伯 的 影 罩 着 施 恩 座 。 [kjv] And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. [bbe] And over it were the winged ones of glory with their wings covering the mercy-seat; about which it is not possible now to say anything in detail. [kjv] Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. [bbe] Now while these things were in existence, the priests went into the first Tent at all times, for prayer and the making of offerings. [kjv] But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: [bbe] But only the high priest went into the second, once a year, not without making an offering of blood for himself and for the errors of the people: 9:8 [hgb] 圣 灵 用 此 指 明 , 头 一 层 帐 幕 仍 存 的 时 候 , 进 入 至 圣 所 的 路 还 未 显 明 。 [kjv] The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: [bbe] The Holy Spirit witnessing by this that the way into the holy place had not at that time been made open, while the first Tent was still in being; 9:9 [hgb] 那 头 一 层 帐 幕 作 现 今 的 一 个 表 样 , 所 献 的 礼 物 和 祭 物 , 就 着 良 心 说 , 都 不 能 叫 礼 拜 的 人 得 以 完 全 。 [kjv] Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; [bbe] And this is an image of the present time; when the offerings which are given are not able to make the heart of the worshipper completely clean, 9:10 [hgb] 这 些 事 连 那 饮 食 和 诸 般 洗 濯 的 规 矩 , 都 不 过 是 属 肉 体 的 条 例 , 命 定 到 振 兴 的 时 候 为 止 。 [kjv] Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. [bbe] Because they are only rules of the flesh, of meats and drinks and washings, which have their place till the time comes when things will be put right. [kjv] But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; [bbe] But now Christ has come as the high priest of the good things of the future, through this greater and better Tent, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this world, 9:12 [hgb] 并 且 不 用 山 羊 和 牛 犊 的 血 , 乃 用 自 己 的 血 , 只 一 次 进 入 圣 所 , 成 了 永 远 赎 罪 的 事 。 [kjv] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. [bbe] And has gone once and for ever into the holy place, having got eternal salvation, not through the blood of goats and young oxen, but through his blood. [kjv] For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: [bbe] For if the blood of goats and oxen, and the dust from the burning of a young cow, being put on the unclean, make the flesh clean: 9:14 [hgb] 何 况 基 督 借 着 永 远 的 灵 , 将 自 己 无 瑕 无 疵 献 给 神 , 他 的 血 岂 不 更 能 洗 净 你 们 的 心 。 [kjv] How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? [bbe] How much more will the blood of Christ, who, being without sin, made an offering of himself to God through the Holy Spirit, make your hearts clean from dead works to be servants of the living God? 9:15 [hgb] 为 此 他 作 了 新 约 的 中 保 。 [kjv] And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. [bbe] And for this cause it is through him that a new agreement has come into being, so that after the errors under the first agreement had been taken away by his death, the word of God might have effect for those who were marked out for an eternal heritage. ( 遗 命 原 文 与 约 字 同 ) [kjv] For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. [bbe] Because where there is a testament, there has to be the death of the man who made it. 9:17 [hgb] 因 为 人 死 了 , 遗 命 才 有 效 力 , 若 留 遗 命 的 尚 在 , 那 遗 命 还 有 用 处 吗 ? [kjv] For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. [bbe] For a testament has effect after death; for what power has it while the man who made it is living? [kjv] Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. [bbe] So that even the first agreement was not made without blood. 9:19 [hgb] 因 为 摩 西 当 日 照 着 律 法 , 将 各 样 诫 命 传 给 众 百 姓 , 就 拿 朱 红 色 绒 和 牛 膝 草 , 把 牛 犊 山 羊 的 血 和 水 , 洒 在 书 上 , 又 洒 在 众 百 姓 身 上 , 说 , [kjv] For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, [bbe] For when Moses had given all the rules of the law to the people, he took the blood of goats and young oxen, with water and red wool and hyssop, and put it on the book itself and on all the people, 9:20 [hgb] 这 血 就 是 神 与 你 们 立 约 的 凭 据 。 [kjv] Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. [bbe] Saying, This blood is the sign of the agreement which God has made with you. [kjv] Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. [bbe] And the blood was put on the Tent and all the holy vessels in the same way. [kjv] And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. [bbe] And by the law almost all things are made clean with blood, and without blood there is no forgiveness. [kjv] It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. [bbe] For this cause it was necessary to make the copies of the things in heaven clean with these offerings; but the things themselves are made clean with better offerings than these. [kjv] For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: [bbe] For Christ did not go into a holy place which had been made by men's hands as the copy of the true one; but he went into heaven itself, and now takes his place before the face of God for us. 9:25 [hgb] 也 不 是 多 次 将 自 己 献 上 , 像 那 大 祭 司 每 年 带 着 牛 羊 的 血 进 入 圣 所 ( 牛 羊 的 血 原 文 作 不 是 自 己 的 血 ) 。 [kjv] Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; [bbe] And he did not have to make an offering of himself again and again, as the high priest goes into the holy place every year with blood which is not his; 9:26 [hgb] 如 果 这 样 , 他 从 创 世 以 来 , 就 必 多 次 受 苦 了 。 [kjv] For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. [bbe] For then he would have undergone a number of deaths from the time of the making of the world: but now he has come to us at the end of the old order, to put away sin by the offering of himself. [kjv] And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: [bbe] And because by God's law death comes to men once, and after that they are judged; 9:28 [hgb] 象 这 样 , 基 督 既 然 一 次 被 献 , 担 当 了 多 人 的 罪 , 将 来 要 向 那 等 候 他 的 人 第 二 次 显 现 , 并 与 罪 无 关 , 乃 是 为 拯 救 他 们 。 [kjv] So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. [bbe] So Christ, having at his first coming taken on himself the sins of men, will be seen a second time, without sin, by those who are waiting for him, for their salvation. [kjv] For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. [bbe] For the law, being only a poor copy of the future good things, and not the true image of those things, is never able to make the people who come to the altar every year with the same offerings completely clean. [kjv] For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. [bbe] For if this had been possible, would there not have been an end of those offerings, because the worshippers would have been made completely clean and would have been no longer conscious of sins? [kjv] But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. [bbe] But year by year there is a memory of sins in those offerings. [kjv] For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. [bbe] Because it is not possible for the blood of oxen and goats to take away sins. [kjv] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: [bbe] So that when he comes into the world, he says, You had no desire for offerings, but you made a body ready for me; 10:6 [hgb] 燔 祭 和 赎 罪 祭 是 你 不 喜 欢 的 。 [kjv] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. [bbe] You had no joy in burned offerings or in offerings for sin. [kjv] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. [bbe] Then I said, See, I have come to do your pleasure, O God (as it is said of me in the roll of the book). 10:8 [hgb] 以 上 说 , 祭 物 和 礼 物 , 燔 祭 和 赎 罪 祭 , 是 你 不 愿 意 的 , 也 是 你 不 喜 欢 的 , ( 这 都 是 按 着 律 法 献 的 ) 。 [kjv] Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; [bbe] After saying, You had no desire for offerings, for burned offerings or offerings for sin (which are made by the law) and you had no pleasure in them, 10:9 [hgb] 后 又 说 我 来 了 为 要 照 你 的 旨 意 行 。 [kjv] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. [bbe] Then he said, See, I have come to do your pleasure. He took away the old order, so that he might put the new order in its place. [kjv] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. [bbe] By that pleasure we have been made holy, by the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for ever. [kjv] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: [bbe] And every priest takes his place at the altar day by day, doing what is necessary, and making again and again the same offerings which are never able to take away sins. [kjv] But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; [bbe] But when Jesus had made one offering for sins for ever, he took his place at the right hand of God; 10:13 [hgb] 从 此 等 候 他 仇 敌 成 了 他 的 脚 凳 。 [kjv] From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. [bbe] And has been waiting there from that time, till all who are against him are made a foot-rest for his feet. [kjv] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. [bbe] Because by one offering he has made complete for ever those who are made holy. 因 为 他 既 已 说 过 , [kjv] Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, [bbe] And the Holy Spirit is a witness for us: for after he had said, 10:16 [hgb] 主 说 , 那 些 日 子 以 后 , 我 与 他 们 所 立 的 约 乃 是 这 样 。 [kjv] This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; [bbe] This is the agreement which I will make with them after those days, says the Lord; I will put my laws in their hearts, writing them in their minds; he said, 10:17 [hgb] 以 后 就 说 , 我 不 再 记 念 他 们 的 罪 愆 , 和 他 们 的 过 犯 。 [kjv] And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. [bbe] And I will keep no more memory of their sins and of their evil-doings. [kjv] Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. [bbe] Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no more offering for sin. 10:19 [hgb] 弟 兄 们 , 我 们 既 因 耶 稣 的 血 , 得 以 坦 然 进 入 至 圣 所 , [kjv] Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, [bbe] So then, my brothers, being able to go into the holy place without fear, because of the blood of Jesus, 10:20 [hgb] 是 借 着 他 给 我 们 开 了 一 条 又 新 又 活 的 路 从 幔 子 经 过 , 这 幔 子 就 是 他 的 身 体 。 [kjv] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; [bbe] By the new and living way which he made open for us through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 10:21 [hgb] 又 有 一 位 大 祭 司 治 理 神 的 家 。 [kjv] And having an high priest over the house of God; [bbe] And having a great priest over the house of God, 10:22 [hgb] 并 我 们 心 中 天 良 的 亏 欠 已 经 洒 去 , 身 体 用 清 水 洗 净 了 , 就 当 存 着 诚 心 , 和 充 足 的 信 心 , 来 到 神 面 前 。 [kjv] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. [bbe] Let us go in with true hearts, in certain faith, having our hearts made free from the sense of sin and our bodies washed with clean water: 10:23 [hgb] 也 要 坚 守 我 们 所 承 认 的 指 望 , 不 至 摇 动 。 [kjv] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [bbe] Let us keep the witness of our hope strong and unshaking, for he is true who has given his word: 10:24 [hgb] 又 要 彼 此 相 顾 , 激 发 爱 心 , 勉 励 行 善 。 [kjv] And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [bbe] And let us be moving one another at all times to love and good works; 10:25 [hgb] 你 们 不 可 停 止 聚 会 , 好 像 那 些 停 止 惯 了 的 人 , 倒 要 彼 此 劝 勉 。 [kjv] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. [bbe] Not giving up our meetings, as is the way of some, but keeping one another strong in faith; and all the more because you see the day coming near. [kjv] For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, [bbe] For if we do evil on purpose after we have had the knowledge of what is true, there is no more offering for sins, 10:27 [hgb] 惟 有 战 惧 等 候 审 判 和 那 烧 灭 众 敌 人 的 烈 火 。 [kjv] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. [bbe] But only a great fear of being judged, and of the fire of wrath which will be the destruction of the haters of God. 10:28 [hgb] 人 干 犯 摩 西 的 律 法 , 凭 两 三 个 见 证 人 , 尚 且 不 得 怜 恤 而 死 。 [kjv] He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: [bbe] A man who has gone against the law of Moses is put to death without pity on the word of two or three witnesses: 10:29 [hgb] 何 况 人 践 踏 神 的 儿 子 , 将 那 使 他 成 圣 之 约 的 血 当 作 平 常 , 又 亵 慢 施 恩 的 圣 灵 , 你 们 想 , 他 要 受 的 刑 罚 该 怎 样 加 重 呢 。 [kjv] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? [bbe] But will not the man by whom the Son of God has been crushed under foot, and the blood of the agreement with which he was washed clean has been taken as an unholy thing, and who has had no respect for the Spirit of grace, be judged bad enough for a very much worse punishment? [kjv] For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. [bbe] For we have had experience of him who says, Punishment is mine, I will give reward. And again, The Lord will be judge of his people. [kjv] It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. [bbe] We may well go in fear of falling into the hands of the living God. 10:32 [hgb] 你 们 要 追 念 往 日 , 蒙 了 光 照 以 后 , 所 忍 受 大 争 战 的 各 样 苦 难 。 [kjv] But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions; [bbe] But give thought to the days after you had seen the light, when you went through a great war of troubles; 10:33 [hgb] 一 面 被 毁 谤 , 遭 患 难 , 成 了 戏 景 , 叫 众 人 观 看 。 [kjv] Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used. [bbe] In part, in being attacked by angry words and cruel acts, before the eyes of everyone, and in part, in being united with those who were attacked in this way. [kjv] For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. [bbe] For you had pity on those who were in prison, and had joy in the loss of your property, in the knowledge that you still had a better property and one which you would keep for ever. [kjv] Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. [bbe] So do not give up your hope which will be greatly rewarded. [kjv] For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. [bbe] For, having done what was right in God's eyes, you have need of waiting before his word has effect for you. [kjv] For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. [bbe] In a very little time he who is coming will come; he will not be slow. [kjv] Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. [bbe] But the upright man will be living by his faith; and if he goes back, my soul will have no pleasure in him. [kjv] But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. [bbe] But we are not of those who go back to destruction; but of those who have faith even to the salvation of the soul. [kjv] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [bbe] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the sign that the things not seen are true. [kjv] For by it the elders obtained a good report. [bbe] For by it our fathers had God's approval. [kjv] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. [bbe] By faith it is clear to us that the order of events was fixed by the word of God, so that what is seen has not been made from things which only seem to be. 11:4 [hgb] 亚 伯 因 着 信 献 祭 与 神 , 比 该 隐 所 献 的 更 美 , 因 此 便 得 了 称 义 的 见 证 , 就 是 神 指 他 礼 物 作 的 见 证 。 [kjv] By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. [bbe] By faith Abel made a better offering to God than Cain, and he had witness through it of his righteousness, God giving his approval of his offering: and his voice still comes to us through it though he is dead. [kjv] By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. [bbe] By faith Enoch was taken up to heaven so that he did not see death; he was seen no longer, for God took him away: for before he was taken, witness had been given that he was well-pleasing to God: 11:6 [hgb] 人 非 有 信 就 不 能 得 神 的 喜 悦 。 [kjv] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. [bbe] And without faith it is not possible to be well-pleasing to him, for it is necessary for anyone who comes to God to have the belief that God is, and that he is a rewarder of all those who make a serious search for him. [kjv] By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. [bbe] By faith Noah, being moved by the fear of God, made ready an ark for the salvation of his family, because God had given him news of things which were not seen at the time; and through it the world was judged by him, and he got for his heritage the righteousness which is by faith. [kjv] By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. [bbe] By faith Abraham did as God said when he was ordered to go out into a place which was to be given to him as a heritage, and went out without knowledge of where he was going. [kjv] By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: [bbe] By faith he was a wanderer in the land of the agreement, as in a strange land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, who had a part with him in the same heritage: 11:10 [hgb] 因 为 他 等 候 那 座 有 根 基 的 城 , 就 是 神 所 经 营 所 建 造 的 。 [kjv] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. [bbe] For he was looking for the strong town, whose builder and maker is God. 11:11 [hgb] 因 着 信 , 连 撒 拉 自 己 , 虽 然 过 了 生 育 的 岁 数 , 还 能 怀 孕 。 [kjv] Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. [bbe] And by faith Sarah herself had power to give birth, when she was very old, because she had faith in him who gave his word; 11:12 [hgb] 所 以 从 一 个 仿 佛 已 死 的 人 就 生 出 子 孙 , 如 同 天 上 的 星 那 样 众 多 , 海 边 的 沙 那 样 无 数 。 [kjv] Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. [bbe] So that from one man, who was near to death, came children in number as the stars in heaven, or as the sand by the seaside, which may not be numbered. [kjv] These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. [bbe] All these came to their end in faith, not having had the heritage; but having seen it with delight far away, they gave witness that they were wanderers and not of the earth. [kjv] For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. [bbe] For those who say such things make it clear that they are searching for a country for themselves. [kjv] And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. [bbe] And truly if they had kept in mind the country from which they went out, they would have had chances of turning back. [kjv] But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. [bbe] But now their desire is for a better country, that is to say, for one in heaven; and so it is no shame to God to be named their God; for he has made ready a town for them. [kjv] By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, [bbe] By faith Abraham made an offering of Isaac, when he was tested: and he with whom the agreement had been made gave up as an offering the only son of his body, 11:18 [hgb] 论 到 这 儿 子 曾 有 话 说 , 从 以 撒 生 的 才 要 称 为 你 的 后 裔 。 [kjv] Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: [bbe] Of whom it had been said, From Isaac will your seed take their name: 11:19 [hgb] 他 以 为 神 还 能 叫 人 从 死 里 复 活 。 [kjv] Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. [bbe] Judging that God was able to give life even to the dead; and because of this he did get him back as if from death. [kjv] By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. [bbe] By faith Isaac, blessing Jacob and Esau, gave news of things to come. [kjv] By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. [bbe] By faith Jacob gave a blessing to the two sons of Joseph, when he was near to death; and gave God worship, supported by his stick. [kjv] By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. [bbe] By faith Joseph, when his end was near, said that the children of Israel would go out of Egypt; and gave orders about his bones. [kjv] By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. [bbe] By faith Moses was kept secretly by his father and mother for three months after his birth, because they saw that he was a fair child; and they had no fear of the king's orders. [kjv] By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; [bbe] By faith Moses, when he became a man, had no desire to be named the son of Pharaoh's daughter; 11:25 [hgb] 他 宁 可 和 神 的 百 姓 同 受 苦 害 , 也 不 愿 暂 时 享 受 罪 中 之 乐 。 [kjv] Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; [bbe] Feeling that it was better to undergo pain with the people of God, than for a short time to have a taste of the pleasures of sin; 11:26 [hgb] 他 看 为 基 督 受 的 凌 辱 , 比 埃 及 的 财 物 更 宝 贵 。 [kjv] Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. [bbe] Judging a part in the shame of Christ to be better than all the wealth of Egypt; for he was looking forward to his reward. [kjv] By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. [bbe] By faith he went out of Egypt, not being turned from his purpose by fear of the wrath of the king; for he kept on his way, as seeing him who is unseen. [kjv] Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. [bbe] By faith he kept the Passover, and put the sign of the blood on the houses, so that the angel of destruction might not put their oldest sons to death. [kjv] By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. [bbe] By faith they went through the Red Sea as if it had been dry land, though the Egyptians were overcome by the water when they made an attempt to do the same. [kjv] By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. [bbe] By faith the walls of Jericho came down, after they had been circled for seven days. [kjv] By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. [bbe] By faith Rahab, the loose woman, was not put to death with those who had gone against God's orders, because she had taken into her house in peace those sent to see the land. [kjv] And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: [bbe] What more am I to say? For there would not be time to give the stories of Gideon, Barak, Samson, and Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets: 11:33 [hgb] 他 们 因 着 信 , 制 伏 了 敌 国 , 行 了 公 义 , 得 了 应 许 , 堵 了 狮 子 的 口 。 [kjv] Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, [bbe] Who through faith overcame kingdoms, did righteousness, got their reward, kept the mouths of lions shut, 11:34 [hgb] 灭 了 烈 火 的 猛 势 , 脱 了 刀 剑 的 锋 刃 , 软 弱 变 为 刚 强 , 争 战 显 出 勇 敢 , 打 退 外 邦 的 全 军 。 [kjv] Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. [bbe] Put out the power of fire, got safely away from the edge of the sword, were made strong when they had been feeble, became full of power in war, and put to flight the armies of the nations. [kjv] Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: [bbe] Women had their dead given back to them living; others let themselves be cruelly attacked, having no desire to go free, so that they might have a better life to come; 11:36 [hgb] 又 有 人 忍 受 戏 弄 , 鞭 打 , 捆 锁 , 监 禁 , 各 等 的 磨 炼 。 [kjv] And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: [bbe] And others were tested by being laughed at or by blows, and even with chains and prisons: 11:37 [hgb] 被 石 头 打 死 , 被 锯 锯 死 , 受 试 探 , 被 刀 杀 。 [kjv] They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; [bbe] They were stoned, they were cut up with knives, they were tested, they were put to death with the sword, they went about in sheepskins and in goatskins; being poor and in pain and cruelly attacked, 11:38 [hgb] 在 旷 野 , 山 岭 , 山 洞 , 地 穴 , 飘 流 无 定 。 [kjv] (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. [bbe] Wandering in waste places and in mountains and in holes in the rocks; for whom the world was not good enough. [kjv] And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: [bbe] And not one of these got the good things of the agreement, though they all had a good record through faith, 11:40 [hgb] 因 为 神 给 我 们 预 备 了 更 美 的 事 , 叫 他 们 若 不 与 我 们 同 得 , 就 不 能 完 全 。 [kjv] God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. [bbe] Because God had kept some better thing for us, so that it was not possible for them to become complete without us. Chapter 12 12:1 [hgb] 我 们 既 有 这 许 多 的 见 证 人 , 如 同 云 彩 围 着 我 们 , 就 当 放 下 各 样 的 重 担 , 脱 去 容 易 缠 累 我 们 的 罪 , 存 心 忍 耐 , 奔 那 摆 在 我 们 前 头 的 路 程 , [kjv] Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, [bbe] For this reason, as we are circled by so great a cloud of witnesses, putting off every weight, and the sin into which we come so readily, let us keep on running in the way which is marked out for us, 12:2 [hgb] 仰 望 为 我 们 信 心 创 始 成 终 的 耶 稣 。 [kjv] Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. [bbe] Having our eyes fixed on Jesus, the guide and end of our faith, who went through the pains of the cross, not caring for the shame, because of the joy which was before him, and who has now taken his place at the right hand of God's seat of power. [kjv] For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. [bbe] Give thought to him who has undergone so much of the hate of sinners against himself, so that you may not be tired and feeble of purpose. [kjv] Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. [bbe] Till now you have not given your blood in your fight against sin: 12:5 [hgb] 你 们 又 忘 了 那 劝 你 们 如 同 劝 儿 子 的 话 , 说 , 我 儿 , 你 不 可 轻 看 主 的 管 教 , 被 他 责 备 的 时 候 , 也 不 可 灰 心 。 [kjv] And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: [bbe] And you have not kept in mind the word which says to you as to sons, My son, do not make little of the Lord's punishment, and do not give up hope when you are judged by him; 12:6 [hgb] 因 为 主 所 爱 的 他 必 管 教 , 又 鞭 打 凡 所 收 纳 的 儿 子 。 [kjv] For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. [bbe] For the Lord sends punishment on his loved ones; everyone whom he takes as his son has experience of his rod. [kjv] If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? [bbe] It is for your training that you undergo these things; God is acting to you as a father does to his sons; for what son does not have punishment from his father? [kjv] But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. [bbe] But if you have not that punishment of which we all have our part, then you are not true sons, but children of shame. [kjv] Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? [bbe] And again, if the fathers of our flesh gave us punishment and had our respect, how much more will we be under the authority of the Father of spirits, and have life? [kjv] For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. [bbe] For they truly gave us punishment for a short time, as it seemed good to them; but he does it for our profit, so that we may become holy as he is. 12:11 [hgb] 凡 管 教 的 事 , 当 时 不 觉 得 快 乐 , 反 觉 得 愁 苦 。 [kjv] Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. [bbe] At the time all punishment seems to be pain and not joy: but after, those who have been trained by it get from it the peace-giving fruit of righteousness. [kjv] Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; [bbe] For this cause let the hands which are hanging down be lifted up, and let the feeble knees be made strong, 12:13 [hgb] 也 要 为 自 己 的 脚 把 道 路 修 直 了 , 使 瘸 子 不 至 歪 脚 , 反 得 痊 愈 。 ( 歪 脚 或 作 差 路 ) [kjv] And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. [bbe] And make straight roads for your feet, so that the feeble may not be turned out of the way, but may be made strong. [kjv] Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: [bbe] Let your desire be for peace with all men, and to be made holy, without which no man may see the Lord; 12:15 [hgb] 又 要 谨 慎 , 恐 怕 有 人 失 了 神 的 恩 。 [kjv] Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; [bbe] Looking with care to see that no man among you in his behaviour comes short of the grace of God; for fear that some bitter root may come up to be a trouble to you, and that some of you may be made unclean by it; 12:16 [hgb] 恐 怕 有 淫 乱 的 , 有 贪 恋 世 俗 如 以 扫 的 。 [kjv] Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. [bbe] And that there may not be any evil liver, or any man without respect for God, like Esau, who let his birthright go for a plate of food. [kjv] For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. [bbe] For you have knowledge that even long after, when he was desiring the blessing for his heritage, he was turned away, though he made his request frequently and with weeping; because the past might not be changed. 12:18 [hgb] 你 们 原 不 是 来 到 那 能 摸 的 山 , 此 山 有 火 焰 , 密 云 , 黑 暗 , 暴 风 , [kjv] For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, [bbe] You have not come to a mountain which may be touched, and is burning with fire, and to a black cloud, and a dark smoke, and a violent wind, 12:19 [hgb] 角 声 与 说 话 的 声 音 。 [kjv] And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: [bbe] And to the sound of a horn, and the voice of words, the hearers of which made request that not a word more might be said to them: 12:20 [hgb] 因 为 他 们 当 不 起 所 命 他 们 的 话 说 , 靠 近 这 山 的 , 即 便 是 走 兽 , 也 要 用 石 头 打 死 。 [kjv] (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: [bbe] For the order which said, If the mountain is touched even by a beast, the beast is to be stoned, seemed hard to them; 12:21 [hgb] 所 见 的 极 其 可 怕 , 甚 至 摩 西 说 , 我 甚 是 恐 惧 战 兢 。 [kjv] And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:) [bbe] And the vision was so overpowering that even Moses said, I am shaking and full of fear. 那 里 有 千 万 的 天 使 , [kjv] But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, [bbe] But you have come to the mountain of Zion, to the place of the living God, to the Jerusalem which is in heaven, and to an army of angels which may not be numbered, 12:23 [hgb] 有 名 录 在 天 上 诸 长 子 之 会 所 共 聚 的 总 会 , 有 审 判 众 人 的 神 , 和 被 成 全 之 义 人 的 灵 魂 。 [kjv] To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, [bbe] To the great meeting and church of the first of those who are named in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of good men made complete, 12:24 [hgb] 并 新 约 的 中 保 耶 稣 , 以 及 所 洒 的 血 。 [kjv] And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. [bbe] And to Jesus by whom the new agreement has been made between God and man, and to the sign of the blood which says better things than Abel's blood. [kjv] See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: [bbe] See that you give ear to his voice which comes to you. For if those whose ears were shut to the voice which came to them on earth did not go free from punishment, what chance have we of going free if we give no attention to him whose voice comes from heaven? [kjv] Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. [bbe] Whose voice was the cause of the shaking of the earth; but now he has made an oath, saying, There will be still one more shaking, not only of the earth, but of heaven. [kjv] And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. [bbe] And the words, Still one more, make it clear that there will be a taking away of those things which are shaking, as of things which are made, so that there may be only those things of which no shaking is possible. [kjv] Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: [bbe] If then, we have a kingdom which will never be moved, let us have grace, so that we may give God such worship as is pleasing to him with fear and respect: 12:29 [hgb] 因 为 我 们 的 神 乃 是 烈 火 。 [kjv] For our God is a consuming fire. [bbe] For our God is an all-burning fire. [kjv] Let brotherly love continue. [bbe] Go on loving your brothers in the faith. [kjv] Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. [bbe] Take care to keep open house: because in this way some have had angels as their guests, without being conscious of it. 13:3 [hgb] 你 们 要 记 念 被 捆 绑 的 人 , 好 像 与 他 们 同 受 捆 绑 , 也 要 记 念 遭 苦 害 的 人 , 想 到 自 己 也 在 肉 身 之 内 。 [kjv] Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. [bbe] Keep in mind those who are in chains, as if you were chained with them, and those who are in trouble, as being yourselves in the body. [kjv] Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. [bbe] Let married life be honoured among all of you and not made unclean; for men untrue in married life will be judged by God. 13:5 [hgb] 你 们 存 心 不 可 贪 爱 钱 财 。 [kjv] Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. [bbe] Be free from the love of money and pleased with the things which you have; for he himself has said, I will be with you at all times. [kjv] So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. [bbe] So that we say with a good heart, The Lord is my helper; I will have no fear: what is man able to do to me? 13:7 [hgb] 从 前 引 导 你 们 , 传 神 之 道 给 你 们 的 人 , 你 们 要 想 念 他 们 , 效 法 他 们 的 信 心 , 留 心 看 他 们 为 人 的 结 局 。 [kjv] Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. [bbe] Keep in mind those who were over you, and who gave you the word of God; seeing the outcome of their way of life, let your faith be like theirs. [kjv] Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. [bbe] Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever. [kjv] Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. [bbe] Do not be turned away by different strange teachings, because it is good for your hearts to be made strong by grace, and not by meats, which were of no profit to those who took so much trouble over them. [kjv] We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. [bbe] We have an altar from which those priests who are servants in the Tent may not take food. [kjv] For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. [bbe] For the bodies of the beasts whose blood is taken into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin are burned outside the circle of the tents. [kjv] Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. [bbe] For this reason Jesus was put to death outside the walls, so that he might make the people holy by his blood. [kjv] Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. [bbe] Let us then go out to him outside the circle of the tents, taking his shame on ourselves. [kjv] For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. [bbe] For here we have no fixed resting-place, but our search is for the one which is to come. [kjv] By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. [bbe] Let us then make offerings of praise to God at all times through him, that is to say, the fruit of lips giving witness to his name. [kjv] But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. [bbe] But go on doing good and giving to others, because God is well-pleased with such offerings. [kjv] Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. [bbe] Give ear to those who are rulers over you, and do as they say: for they keep watch over your souls, ready to give an account of them; let them be able to do this with joy and not with grief, because that would be of no profit to you. [kjv] Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. [bbe] Make prayers for us, for we are certain that our hearts are free from the sense of sin, desiring the right way of life in all things. [kjv] But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. [bbe] I make this request more strongly, in the hope of coming back to you more quickly. 13:20 [hgb] 但 愿 赐 平 安 的 神 , 就 是 那 凭 永 约 之 血 使 群 羊 的 大 牧 人 我 主 耶 稣 , 从 死 里 复 活 的 神 , [kjv] Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, [bbe] Now may the God of peace, who made that great keeper of his flock, even our Lord Jesus, come back from the dead through the blood of the eternal agreement, 13:21 [hgb] 在 各 样 善 事 上 , 成 全 你 们 , 叫 你 们 遵 行 他 的 旨 意 , 又 借 着 耶 稣 基 督 在 你 们 心 里 行 他 所 喜 悦 的 事 。 [kjv] Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. [bbe] Make you full of every good work and ready to do all his desires, working in us whatever is pleasing in his eyes through Jesus Christ; and may the glory be given to him for ever and ever. [kjv] And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words. [bbe] But, brothers, take kindly the words which I have said for your profit; for I have not sent you a long letter. [kjv] Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you. [bbe] Our brother Timothy has been let out of prison; and if he comes here in a short time, he and I will come to you together. [kjv] Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you. [bbe] Give words of love from me to those who are rulers over you, and to all the saints. Those who are in Italy send you their love. [kjv] Grace be with you all. Amen. [bbe] May grace be with you all.
