 The prospect1 of pursuing artistic2 studies at home was not brilliant, as one may imagine when I mention that Psyche3's father was a painfully prosaic4 man, wrapt in flannel5, so to speak; for his woollen mills left him no time for anything but sleep, food, and newspapers.
