1:1 [hgb]  便 雅 悯 地 亚 拿 突 城 的 祭 司 中 ， 希 勒 家 的 儿 子 耶 利 米 的 话 记 在 下 面 。 
    [kjv]  The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:
    [bbe]  The words of Jeremiah, the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:
1:2 [hgb]  犹 大 王 亚 们 的 儿 子 约 西 亚 在 位 十 三 年 ， 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 耶 利 米 。 
    [kjv]  To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign¹.
    [bbe]  To whom the word of the Lord came in the days of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his rule.
1:3 [hgb]  从 犹 大 王 约 西 亚 的 儿 子 约 雅 敬 在 位 的 时 候 ， 直 到 犹 大 王 约 西 亚 的 儿 子 西 底 家 在 位 的 末 年 ， 就 是 十 一 年 五 月 间 耶 路 撒 冷 人 被 掳 的 时 候 ， 耶 和 华 的 话 也 常 临 到 耶 利 米 。 
    [kjv]  It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.
    [bbe]  And it came again in the days of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, up to the eleventh year of Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, king of Judah; till Jerusalem was taken away in the fifth month.
1:4 [hgb]  耶 利 米 说 ， 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 我 说 ， 
    [kjv]  Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
    [bbe]  Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
1:5 [hgb]  我 未 将 你 造 在 腹 中 ， 我 已 晓 得 你 。 你 未 出 母 胎 ， 我 已 分 别 你 为 圣 。 我 已 派 你 作 列 国 的 先 知 。 
    [kjv]  Before I formed thee in the belly² I knew thee; and before thou camest forth³ out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained⁴ thee a prophet unto the nations.
    [bbe]  Before you were formed in the body of your mother I had knowledge of you, and before your birth I made you holy; I have given you the work of being a prophet to the nations.
