[kjv] And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males.

8:15 [hgb] 我 招 聚 这 些 人 在 流 入 亚 哈 瓦 的 河 边 ， 我 们 在 那 里 住 了 三 日 。 我 查 看 百 姓 和 祭 司 ， 见 没 有 利 未 人 在 那 里 ，
[kjv] And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode3 we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi.
[bbe] And I made them come together by the river flowing to Ahava; and we were there in tents for three days: and after viewing the people and the priests I saw that no sons of Levi were there.
8:16 [hgb] 就 召 首 领 以 利 以 谢 ， 亚 列 ， 示 玛 雅 ， 以 利 拿 单 ， 雅 立 ， 以 利 拿 单 ， 拿 单 ， 撒 迦 利 亚 ， 米 书 兰 ， 又 召 教 习 约 雅 立 和 以 利 拿 单 。
[kjv] Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding.

[kjv] And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.

8:18 [hgb] 蒙 我 们 神 施 恩 的 手 帮 助 我 们 ， 他 们 在 以 色 列 的 曾 孙 ， 利 未 的 孙 子 ， 抹 利 的 后 裔 中 带 一 个 通 达 人 来 。 还 有 示 利 比 和 他 的 众 子 与 弟 兄 共 一 十 八 人 。
[kjv] And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;
[bbe] And by the help of our God they got for us Ish-sechel, one of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah with his sons and brothers, eighteen;
8:19 [hgb] 又 有 哈 沙 比 雅 ， 同 着 他 有 米 拉 利 的 子 孙 耶 筛 亚 ， 并 他 的 众 子 和 弟 兄 共 二 十 人 。
[kjv] And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty;

8:20 [hgb] 从 前 大 卫 和 众 首 领 派 尼 提 宁 服 事 利 未 人 ， 现 在 从 这 尼 提 宁 中 也 带 了 二 百 二 十 人 来 ， 都 是 按 名 指 定 的 。
[kjv] Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name.
[bbe] And of the Nethinim, to whom David and the captains had given the work of helping4 the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinim, all of them specially5 named.
8:21 [hgb] 那 时 ， 我 在 亚 哈 瓦 河 边 宣 告 禁 食 ， 为 要 在 我 们 神 面 前 克 苦 己 心 ， 求 他 使 我 们 和 妇 人 孩 子 ， 并 一 切 所 有 的 ， 都 得 平 坦 的 道 路 。
[kjv] Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict6 ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.
[bbe] Then I gave orders for a time of going without food, there by the river Ahava, so that we might make ourselves low before our God in prayer, requesting from him a straight way for us and for our little ones and for all our substance.
8:22 [hgb] 我 求 王 拨 步 兵 马 兵 帮 助 我 们 抵 挡 路 上 的 仇 敌 ， 本 以 为 羞 耻 。 因 我 曾 对 王 说 ， 我 们 神 施 恩 的 手 必 帮 助 一 切 寻 求 他 的 。 但 他 的 能 力 和 忿 怒 ， 必 攻 击 一 切 离 弃 他 的 。
[kjv] For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath7 is against all them that forsake8 him.
[bbe] For I would not, for shame, make request to the king for a band of armed men and horsemen to give us help against those who might make attacks on us on the way: for we had said to the king, The hand of our God is on his servants for good, but his power and his wrath are against all those who are turned away from him.
8:23 [hgb] 所 以 我 们 禁 食 祈 求 我 们 的 神 ， 他 就 应 允 了 我 们 。
[kjv] So we fasted and besought9 our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
[bbe] So we went without food, requesting our God for this: and his ear was open to our prayer.
8:24 [hgb] 我 分 派 祭 司 长 十 二 人 ， 就 是 示 利 比 ， 哈 沙 比 雅 ， 和 他 们 的 弟 兄 十 人 ，
[kjv] Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,
[bbe] So I put on one side twelve of the chiefs of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brothers with them,
8:25 [hgb] 将 王 和 谋 士 ， 军 长 ， 并 在 那 里 的 以 色 列 众 人 为 我 们 神 殿 所 献 的 金 银 和 器 皿 ， 都 秤 了 交 给 他 们 。
[kjv] And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels10, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:
[bbe] And gave to them by weight the silver and the gold and the vessels, all the offering for the house of our God which the king and his wise men and his captains and all Israel there present had given:
8:26 [hgb] 我 秤 了 交 在 他 们 手 中 的 银 子 有 六 百 五 十 他 连 得 。 银 器 重 一 百 他 连 得 。 金 子 一 百 他 连 得 。
[kjv] I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;
[bbe] Measuring into their hands six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels, a hundred talents' weight, and a hundred talents of gold,
8:27 [hgb] 金 碗 二 十 个 ， 重 一 千 达 利 克 。 上 等 光 铜 的 器 皿 两 个 ， 宝 贵 如 金 。
[kjv] Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper12, precious as gold.
[bbe] And twenty gold basins, of a thousand darics, and two vessels of the best bright brass13, equal in value to gold.
8:28 [hgb] 我 对 他 们 说 ， 你 们 归 耶 和 华 为 圣 ， 器 皿 也 为 圣 。 金 银 是 甘 心 献 给 耶 和 华 你 们 列 祖 之 神 的 。
[kjv] And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.
[bbe] And I said to them, You are holy to the Lord and the vessels are holy: and the silver and the gold are an offering freely given to the Lord, the God of your fathers.
8:29 [hgb] 你 们 当 儆 醒 看 守 ， 直 到 你 们 在 耶 路 撒 冷 耶 和 华 殿 的 库 内 ， 在 祭 司 长 和 利 未 族 长 ， 并 以 色 列 的 各 族 长 面 前 过 了 秤 。
[kjv] Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers14 of the house of the LORD.
[bbe] Take care of them and keep them, till you put them on the scales before the chiefs of the priests and the Levites and the chiefs of the families of Israel, in Jerusalem, in the rooms of the house of the Lord.
8:30 [hgb] 于 是 ， 祭 司 ， 利 未 人 按 着 分 量 接 受 金 银 和 器 皿 ， 要 带 到 耶 路 撒 冷 我 们 神 的 殿 里 。
[kjv] So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.

8:31 [hgb] 正 月 十 二 日 ， 我 们 从 亚 哈 瓦 河 边 起 行 ， 要 往 耶 路 撒 冷 去 。 我 们 神 的 手 保 佑 我 们 ， 救 我 们 脱 离 仇 敌 和 路 上 埋 伏 之 人 的 手 。
[kjv] Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.

8:34 [hgb] 当 时 都 点 了 数 目 ， 按 着 分 量 写 在 册 上 。

8:35 [hgb] 从 掳 到 之 地 归 回 的 人 向 以 色 列 的 神 献 燔 祭 ， 就 是 为 以 色 列 众 人 献 公 牛 十 二 只 ， 公 绵 羊 九 十 六 只 ， 绵 羊 羔 七 十 七 只 ， 又 献 公 山 羊 十 二 只 作 赎 罪 祭 ， 这 都 是 向 耶 和 华 焚 献 的 。
[kjv] Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity16, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams11, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.
[bbe] And those who had been prisoners, who had come back from a strange land, made burned offerings to the God of Israel, twelve oxen for all Israel, ninety-six male sheep, seventy-seven lambs, twelve he-goats for a sin-offering: all this was a burned offering to the Lord.
8:36 [hgb] 他 们 将 王 的 谕 旨 交 给 王 所 派 的 总 督 与 河 西 的 省 长 ， 他 们 就 帮 助 百 姓 ， 又 供 给 神 殿 里 所 需 用 的 。
[kjv] And they delivered the king's commissions unto the king's lieutenants17, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.
[bbe] And they gave the king's orders to the king's captains and the rulers across the river, and they gave the people and the house of God the help which was needed.
