13:1 [hgb]  亚 摩 斯 的 儿 子 以 赛 亚 得 默 示 论 巴 比 伦 。
    [kjv]  The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.
    [bbe]  The word of the Lord about Babylon which Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saw.
13:2 [hgb]  应 当 在 净 光 的 山 竖 立 大 旗 , 向 群 众 扬 声 招 手 , 使 他 们 进 入 贵 胄 的 门 。
    [kjv]  Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt1 the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
    [bbe]  Put up a flag on a clear mountain-top, make a loud outcry to them, give directions with the hand, so that they may go into the doors of the great ones.
13:3 [hgb]  我 吩 咐 我 所 挑 出 来 的 人 。 我 招 呼 我 的 勇 士 , 就 是 那 矜 夸 高 傲 之 辈 , 为 要 成 就 我 怒 中 所 定 的 。
    [kjv]  I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty2 ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.
    [bbe]  I have given orders to my holy ones, I have sent out my men of war, those of mine who take pride in their power, to give effect to my wrath3.
13:4 [hgb]  山 间 有 多 人 的 声 音 , 好 像 是 大 国 人 民 。 有 许 多 国 的 民 聚 集 哄 嚷 的 声 音 。 这 是 万 军 之 耶 和 华 点 齐 军 队 , 预 备 打 仗 。
    [kjv]  The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
    [bbe]  The noise of great numbers in the mountains, like the noise of a strong people! The noise of the kingdoms of the nations meeting together! The Lord of armies is numbering his forces for war.
13:5 [hgb]  他 们 从 远 方 来 , 从 天 边 来 , 就 是 耶 和 华 并 他 恼 恨 的 兵 器 , 要 毁 灭 这 全 地 。
    [kjv]  They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
    [bbe]  They come from a far country, from the farthest part of heaven, even the Lord and the instruments of his wrath, with destruction for all the land.
13:6 [hgb]  你 们 要 哀 号 , 因 为 耶 和 华 的 日 子 临 近 了 。 这 日 来 到 , 好 像 毁 灭 从 全 能 者 来 到 。
    [kjv]  Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty4.
    [bbe]  Send out a cry of grief; for the day of the Lord is near; it comes as destruction from the Most High.
13:7 [hgb]  所 以 人 手 都 必 软 弱 , 人 心 都 必 消 化 。
    [kjv]  Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
    [bbe]  For this cause all hands will be feeble, and every heart of man be turned to water;
13:8 [hgb]  他 们 必 惊 惶 悲 痛 。 愁 苦 必 将 他 们 抓 住 。 他 们 疼 痛 , 好 像 产 难 的 妇 人 一 样 。 彼 此 惊 奇 相 看 , 脸 如 火 焰 。
    [kjv]  And they shall be afraid: pangs5 and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
    [bbe]  Their hearts will be full of fear; pains and sorrows will overcome them; they will be in pain like a woman in childbirth; they will be shocked at one another; their faces will be like flames.
13:9 [hgb]  耶 和 华 的 日 子 临 到 , 必 有 残 忍 , 忿 恨 , 烈 怒 。 使 这 地 荒 凉 , 从 其 中 除 灭 罪 人 。
    [kjv]  Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate6: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
    [bbe]  See, the day of the Lord is coming, cruel, with wrath and burning passion: to make the land a waste, driving the sinners in it to destruction.
13:10 [hgb]  天 上 的 众 星 群 宿 , 都 不 发 光 。 日 头 一 出 , 就 变 黑 暗 , 月 亮 也 不 放 光 。
    [kjv]  For the stars of heaven and the constellations7 thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth8, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
    [bbe]  For the stars of heaven and its bright armies will not give their light: the sun will be made dark in his journey through the heaven, and the moon will keep back her light.
13:11 [hgb]  我 必 因 邪 恶 , 刑 罚 世 界 , 因 罪 孽 , 刑 罚 恶 人 。 使 骄 傲 人 的 狂 妄 止 息 , 制 伏 强 暴 人 的 狂 傲 。
    [kjv]  And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity9; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness10 of the terrible.
    [bbe]  And I will send punishment on the world for its evil, and on the sinners for their wrongdoing; and I will put an end to all pride, and will make low the power of the cruel.
13:12 [hgb]  我 必 使 人 比 精 金 还 少 , 使 人 比 俄 斐 纯 金 更 少 。
    [kjv]  I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
    [bbe]  I will make men so small in number, that a man will be harder to get than gold, even the best gold of Ophir.
13:13 [hgb]  我 万 军 之 耶 和 华 在 忿 恨 中 发 烈 怒 的 日 子 , 必 使 天 震 动 , 使 地 摇 撼 , 离 其 本 位 。
    [kjv]  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
    [bbe]  For this cause the heavens will be shaking, and the earth will be moved out of its place, in the wrath of the Lord of armies, and in the day of his burning passion.
13:14 [hgb]  人 必 像 被 追 赶 的 鹿 , 像 无 人 收 聚 的 羊 , 各 归 回 本 族 , 各 逃 到 本 土 。
    [kjv]  And it shall be as the chased roe11, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.
    [bbe]  And it will be that, like a roe in flight, and like wandering sheep, they will go every man to his people and to his land.
13:15 [hgb]  凡 被 仇 敌 追 上 的 , 必 被 刺 死 。 凡 被 捉 住 的 , 必 被 刀 杀 。
    [kjv]  Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.
    [bbe]  Everyone who is overtaken will have a spear put through him, and everyone who goes in flight will be put to the sword.
13:16 [hgb]  他 们 的 婴 孩 , 必 在 他 们 眼 前 摔 碎 。 他 们 的 房 屋 , 必 被 抢 夺 。 他 们 的 妻 子 , 必 被 玷 污 。
    [kjv]  Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
    [bbe]  Their young children will be broken up before their eyes; their goods will be taken away, and their wives made the property of others.
13:17 [hgb]  我 必 激 动 玛 代 人 来 攻 击 他 们 。 玛 代 人 不 注 重 银 子 , 也 不 喜 爱 金 子 。
    [kjv]  Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
    [bbe]  See, I am driving the Medes against them, who put no value on silver and have no pleasure in gold.
13:18 [hgb]  他 们 必 用 弓 击 碎 少 年 人 , 不 怜 悯 妇 人 所 生 的 , 眼 也 不 顾 惜 孩 子 。
    [kjv]  Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.
    [bbe]  In their hands are bows and spears; they are cruel, violently putting the young men to death, and crushing the young women; they have no pity for children, and no mercy for the fruit of the body.
13:19 [hgb]  巴 比 伦 素 来 为 列 国 的 荣 耀 , 为 迦 勒 底 人 所 矜 夸 的 华 美 , 必 像 神 所 倾 覆 的 所 多 玛 蛾 摩 拉 一 样 。
    [kjv]  And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew12 Sodom and Gomorrah.
    [bbe]  And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beautiful town which is the pride of the Chaldaeans, will be like God's destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
13:20 [hgb]  其 内 必 永 无 人 烟 , 世 世 代 代 无 人 居 住 。 亚 拉 伯 人 也 不 在 那 里 支 搭 帐 棚 。 牧 羊 的 人 , 也 不 使 羊 群 卧 在 那 里 。
    [kjv]  It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.
    [bbe]  People will never be living in it again, and it will have no more men from generation to generation: the Arab will not put up his tent there; and those who keep sheep will not make it a resting-place for their flocks.
13:21 [hgb]  只 有 旷 野 的 走 兽 卧 在 那 里 。 咆 哮 的 兽 满 了 房 屋 。 鸵 鸟 住 在 那 里 。 野 山 羊 在 那 里 跳 舞 。
    [kjv]  But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls13 shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.
    [bbe]  But the beasts of the waste land will have their holes there; and the houses will be full of crying jackals, and ostriches14 will have their place there, and evil spirits will be dancing there.
13:22 [hgb]  豺 狼 必 在 他 宫 中 呼 号 。 野 狗 必 在 他 华 美 殿 内 吼 叫 。 巴 比 伦 受 罚 的 时 候 临 近 , 他 的 日 子 , 必 不 长 久 。
    [kjv]  And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.
    [bbe]  And wolves will be answering one another in their towers, and jackals in their houses of pleasure: her time is near, and her days of power will quickly be ended.
