20:1 [hgb]  亚 述 王 撒 珥 根 打 发 他 珥 探 到 亚 实 突 的 那 年 , 他 珥 探 就 攻 打 亚 实 突 , 将 城 攻 取 。
    [kjv]  In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it;
    [bbe]  In the year when the Tartan came to Ashdod, sent by Sargon, king of Assyria, and made war against it and took it;
20:2 [hgb]  那 时 耶 和 华 晓 谕 亚 摩 斯 的 儿 子 以 赛 亚 说 , 你 去 解 掉 你 腰 间 的 麻 布 , 脱 下 你 脚 上 的 鞋 。 以 赛 亚 就 这 样 作 , 露 身 赤 脚 行 走 。
    [kjv]  At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
    [bbe]  At that time the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saying, Go, and take off your robe, and your shoes from your feet; and he did so, walking unclothed and without shoes on his feet.
20:3 [hgb]  耶 和 华 说 , 我 仆 人 以 赛 亚 怎 样 露 身 赤 脚 行 走 三 年 , 作 为 关 乎 埃 及 和 古 实 的 预 兆 奇 迹 。
    [kjv]  And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;
    [bbe]  And the Lord said, As my servant Isaiah has gone unclothed and without shoes for three years as a sign and a wonder to Egypt and Ethiopia,
20:4 [hgb]  照 样 , 亚 述 王 也 必 掳 去 埃 及 人 , 掠 去 古 实 人 , 无 论 老 少 , 都 露 身 赤 脚 , 现 出 下 体 , 使 埃 及 蒙 羞 。
    [kjv]  So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
    [bbe]  So will the king of Assyria take away the prisoners of Egypt and those forced out of Ethiopia, young and old, unclothed and without shoes, and with backs uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
20:5 [hgb]  以 色 列 人 必 因 所 仰 望 的 古 实 , 所 夸 耀 的 埃 及 , 惊 惶 羞 愧 。
    [kjv]  And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.
    [bbe]  And they will be full of fear, and will no longer have faith in Ethiopia which was their hope, or in Egypt which was their glory.
20:6 [hgb]  那 时 这 沿 海 一 带 的 居 民 必 说 , 看 哪 , 我 们 素 所 仰 望 的 , 就 是 我 们 为 脱 离 亚 述 王 逃 往 求 救 的 , 不 过 是 如 此 。 我 们 怎 能 逃 脱 呢 ?
    [kjv]  And the inhabitant of this isle1 shall say in that day, Behold2, such is our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?
    [bbe]  And those living by the sea will say in that day, See the fate of our hope to whom we went for help and salvation3 from the king of Assyria: what hope have we then of salvation?
