21:1 [hgb]  论 海 旁 旷 野 的 默 示 。 有 仇 敌 从 旷 野 , 从 可 怕 之 地 而 来 , 好 像 南 方 的 旋 风 , 猛 然 扫 过 。
    [kjv]  The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.
    [bbe]  The word about the waste land. As storm-winds in the South go rushing through, it comes from the waste land, from the land greatly to be feared.
21:2 [hgb]  令 人 凄 惨 的 异 象 , 已 默 示 于 我 。 诡 诈 的 行 诡 诈 , 毁 灭 的 行 毁 灭 。 以 拦 哪 , 你 要 上 去 。 玛 代 阿 , 你 要 围 困 。 主 说 , 我 使 一 切 叹 息 止 住 。
    [kjv]  A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous1 dealer2 dealeth treacherously3, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege4, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
    [bbe]  A vision of fear comes before my eyes; the worker of deceit goes on in his false way, and the waster goes on making waste. Up! Elam; to the attack! Media; I have put an end to her sorrow.
21:3 [hgb]  所 以 我 满 腰 疼 痛 。 痛 苦 将 我 抓 住 , 好 像 产 难 的 妇 人 一 样 。 我 疼 痛 甚 至 不 能 听 。 我 惊 惶 甚 至 不 能 看 。
    [kjv]  Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs5 have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it.
    [bbe]  For this cause I am full of bitter grief; pains like the pains of a woman in childbirth have come on me: I am bent6 down with sorrow at what comes to my ears; I am shocked by what I see.
21:4 [hgb]  我 心 慌 张 , 惊 恐 威 吓 我 , 我 所 羡 慕 的 黄 昏 , 变 为 我 的 战 兢 。
    [kjv]  My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me.
    [bbe]  My mind is wandering, fear has overcome me: the evening of my desire has been turned into shaking for me.
21:5 [hgb]  他 们 摆 设 筵 席 , 派 人 守 望 , 又 吃 又 喝 。 首 领 阿 , 你 们 起 来 , 用 油 抹 盾 牌 。
    [kjv]  Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, and anoint the shield.
    [bbe]  They make ready the table, they put down the covers, they take food and drink. Up! you captains; put oil on your breastplates.
21:6 [hgb]  主 对 我 如 此 说 , 你 去 设 立 守 望 的 , 使 他 将 所 看 见 的 述 说 。
    [kjv]  For thus hath the LORD said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.
    [bbe]  For so has the Lord said to me, Go, let a watchman be placed; let him give word of what he sees:
21:7 [hgb]  他 看 见 军 队 , 就 是 骑 马 的 一 对 一 对 地 来 , 又 看 见 驴 队 , 骆 驼 队 , 就 要 侧 耳 细 听 。
    [kjv]  And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses7, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently8 with much heed:
    [bbe]  And when he sees war-carriages, horsemen by twos, war-carriages with asses, war-carriages with camels, let him give special attention.
21:8 [hgb]  他 像 狮 子 吼 叫 , 说 , 主 阿 , 我 白 日 常 站 在 望 楼 上 , 整 夜 立 在 我 守 望 所 。

    [bbe]  And the watchman gave a loud cry, O my lord, I am on the watchtower all day, and am placed in my watch every night:
21:9 [hgb]  看 哪 , 有 一 队 军 兵 骑 着 马 , 一 对 一 对 地 来 。 他 就 说 , 巴 比 伦 倾 倒 了 。 倾 倒 了 , 他 一 切 雕 刻 的 神 像 , 都 打 碎 于 地 。
    [kjv]  And, behold10, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
    [bbe]  See, here come war-carriages with men, horsemen by twos: and in answer he said, Babylon is made low, is made low, and all her images are broken on the earth.
21:10 [hgb]  我 被 打 的 禾 稼 , 我 场 上 的 谷 阿 , 我 从 万 军 之 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 那 里 所 听 见 的 , 都 告 诉 你 们 了 。
    [kjv]  O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.
    [bbe]  O my crushed ones, the grain of my floor! I have given you the word which came to me from the Lord of armies, the God of Israel.
21:11 [hgb]  论 度 玛 的 默 示 。 有 人 声 从 西 珥 呼 问 我 , 说 , 守 望 的 阿 , 夜 里 如 何 。 守 望 的 阿 , 夜 里 如 何 。
    [kjv]  The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
    [bbe]  The word about Edom. A voice comes to me from Seir, Watchman, how far gone is the night? how far gone is the night?
21:12 [hgb]  守 望 的 说 , 早 晨 将 到 , 黑 夜 也 来 。 你 们 若 要 问 , 就 可 以 问 , 可 以 回 头 再 来 。
    [kjv]  The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire11, enquire ye: return, come.
    [bbe]  The watchman says, The morning has come, but night is still to come: if you have questions to put, put them, and come back again.
21:13 [hgb]  论 亚 拉 伯 的 默 示 。 底 但 结 伴 的 客 旅 阿 , 你 们 必 在 亚 拉 伯 的 树 林 中 住 宿 。
    [kjv]  The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge12, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.
    [bbe]  The word about Arabia. In the thick woods of Arabia will be your night's resting-place, O travelling bands of Dedanites!
21:14 [hgb]  提 玛 地 的 居 民 拿 水 来 , 送 给 口 渴 的 , 拿 饼 来 迎 接 逃 避 的 。
    [kjv]  The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled.
    [bbe]  Give water to him who is in need of water; give bread, O men of the land of Tema, to those in flight.
21:15 [hgb]  因 为 他 们 逃 避 刀 剑 , 和 出 了 鞘 的 刀 , 并 上 了 弦 的 弓 , 与 刀 兵 的 重 灾 。
    [kjv]  For they fled from the swords, from the drawn13 sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.
    [bbe]  For they are in flight from the sharp sword, and the bent bow, and from the trouble of war.
21:16 [hgb]  主 对 我 这 样 说 , 一 年 之 内 , 照 雇 工 的 年 数 , 基 达 的 一 切 荣 耀 必 归 于 无 有 。
    [kjv]  For thus hath the LORD said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:
    [bbe]  For so has the Lord said to me, In a year, by the years of a servant working for payment, all the glory of Kedar will come to an end:

    [bbe]  And the rest of the bowmen, the men of war of the children of Kedar, will be small in number: for the Lord, the God of Israel, has said it.
