[bbe] Send out a cry of grief, you men of the sea-land, traders of Zidon, who go over the sea, whose representatives are on great waters;
23:3 [hgb] 在 大 水 之 上 , 西 曷 的 粮 食 , 尼 罗 河 的 庄 稼 , 是 推 罗 的 进 项 。 他 作 列 国 的 大 码 头 。
[kjv] And by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a mart of nations.
[bbe] Who get in the seed of Shihor, whose wealth is the trade of the nations.
23:4 [hgb] 西 顿 哪 , 你 当 惭 愧 。 因 为 大 海 说 , 就 是 海 中 的 保 障 说 , 我 没 有 劬 劳 , 也 没 有 生 产 , 没 有 养 育 男 子 , 也 没 有 抚 养 童 女 。
[kjv] Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail3 not, nor bring forth4 children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins6.
[bbe] Be shamed, O Zidon: for the sea, the strong place of the sea has said, I have not been with child, or given birth; I have not taken care of young men, or kept watch over the growth of virgins.
23:5 [hgb] 这 风 声 传 到 埃 及 , 埃 及 人 为 推 罗 的 风 声 , 极 其 疼 痛 。
[kjv] As at the report concerning Egypt, so shall they be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.
[bbe] When the news comes to Egypt they will be bitterly pained at the fate of Tyre.
23:6 [hgb] 推 罗 人 哪 , 你 们 当 过 到 他 施 去 。 沿 海 的 居 民 哪 , 你 们 都 当 哀 号 。
[kjv] Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle.
[bbe] Go over to Tarshish; give cries of sorrow, O men of the sea-land.

[kjv] Is this your joyous7 city, whose antiquity8 is of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn9.
[bbe] Is this the town which was full of joy, whose start goes back to times long past, whose wanderings took her into far-off countries?
23:8 [hgb] 推 罗 本 是 赐 冠 冕 的 。 他 的 商 家 是 王 子 , 他 的 买 卖 人 , 是 世 上 的 尊 贵 人 。 遭 遇 如 此 , 是 谁 定 的 呢 ?
[kjv] Who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable10 of the earth?
[bbe] By whom was this purposed against Tyre, the crowning town, whose traders are chiefs, whose business men are honoured in the land?
23:9 [hgb] 是 万 军 之 耶 和 华 所 定 的 , 为 要 污 辱 一 切 高 傲 的 荣 耀 , 使 地 上 一 切 的 尊 贵 人 被 藐 视 。
[kjv] The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.
[bbe] It was the purpose of the Lord of armies to put pride to shame, to make sport of the glory of those who are honoured in the earth.
23:10 [hgb] 他 施 的 民 哪 , ( 民 原 文 作 女 ) 可 以 流 行 你 的 地 , 好 像 尼 罗 河 , 不 再 有 腰 带 拘 紧 你 。
[kjv] Pass through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.
[bbe] Let your land be worked with the plough, O daughter of Tarshish; there is no longer any harbour.
23:11 [hgb] 耶 和 华 已 经 向 海 伸 手 , 震 动 列 国 。 至 于 迦 南 , 他 已 经 吩 咐 拆 毁 其 中 的 保 障 。
[kjv] He stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms: the LORD hath given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy the strong holds thereof.
[bbe] His hand is stretched out over the sea, the kingdoms are shaking: the Lord has given orders about Canaan, to make waste its strong places.
23:12 [hgb] 他 又 说 , 受 欺 压 西 顿 的 居 民 哪 , ( 居 民 原 文 作 处 女 ) 你 必 不 得 再 欢 乐 , 起 来 , 过 到 基 提 去 。 就 是 在 那 里 , 也 不 得 安 歇 。
[kjv] And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin5, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shalt thou have no rest.
[bbe] And he said, There is no more joy for you, O crushed virgin daughter of Zidon: up! go over to Kittim; even there you will have no rest.
23:13 [hgb] 看 哪 , 迦 勒 底 人 之 地 向 来 没 有 这 民 。 这 国 是 亚 述 人 为 住 旷 野 的 人 所 立 的 。 现 在 他 们 建 筑 戍 楼 , 拆 毁 推 罗 的 宫 殿 , 使 它 成 为 荒 凉 。

23:17 [hgb] 七 十 年 后 , 耶 和 华 必 眷 顾 推 罗 , 他 就 仍 得 利 息 , ( 原 文 作 雇 价 下 同 ) 与 地 上 的 万 国 交 易 。 ( 原 文 作 行 淫 )
[kjv] And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.
[bbe] And it will be after the end of seventy years, that the Lord will have mercy on Tyre, and she will go back to her trade, acting13 as a loose woman with all the kingdoms of the world on the face of the earth.
23:18 [hgb] 他 的 货 财 和 利 息 , 要 归 耶 和 华 为 圣 , 必 不 积 攒 存 留 。 因 为 他 的 货 财 必 为 住 在 耶 和 华 面 前 的 人 所 得 , 使 他 们 吃 饱 , 穿 耐 久 的 衣 服 。
[kjv] And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently14, and for durable15 clothing.
[bbe] And her goods and her trade will be holy to the Lord: they will not be kept back or stored up; for her produce will be for those living in the Lord's land, to give them food for their needs, and fair clothing.
