[kjv] Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
[bbe] The Lord who made you, forming you in your mother's body, the Lord, your helper, says, Have no fear, O Jacob my servant, and you, Jeshurun, whom I have taken for myself.
44:3 [hgb] 因 为 我 要 将 水 浇 灌 口 渴 的 人 ， 将 河 浇 灌 干 旱 之 地 。 我 要 将 我 的 灵 浇 灌 你 的 后 裔 ， 将 我 的 福 浇 灌 你 的 子 孙 。
[kjv] For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing1 upon thine offspring:
[bbe] For I will send water on the land needing it, and streams on the dry earth: I will let my spirit come down on your seed, and my blessing on your offspring.
44:4 [hgb] 他 们 要 发 生 在 草 中 ， 像 溪 水 旁 的 柳 树 。
[kjv] And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows2 by the water courses.
[bbe] And they will come up like grass in a well-watered field, like water-plants by the streams.
44:5 [hgb] 这 个 要 说 ， 我 是 属 耶 和 华 的 。 那 个 要 以 雅 各 的 名 自 称 。 又 一 个 要 亲 手 写 归 耶 和 华 的 （ 或 作 在 手 上 写 归 耶 和 华 ） 并 自 称 为 以 色 列 。
[kjv] One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe3 with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
[bbe] One will say, I am the Lord's; and another will give himself the name, Jacob; another will put a mark on his hand, I am the Lord's, and another will take the name of Israel for himself.
44:6 [hgb] 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 君 ， 以 色 列 的 救 赎 主 万 军 之 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 我 是 首 先 的 ， 我 是 末 后 的 ， 除 我 以 外 ， 再 没 有 真 神 。
[kjv] Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
[bbe] The Lord, the King of Israel, even the Lord of armies who has taken up his cause, says, I am the first and the last, and there is no God but me.
44:7 [hgb] 自 从 我 设 立 古 时 的 民 ， 谁 能 像 我 宣 告 ， 并 且 指 明 ， 又 为 自 己 陈 说 呢 ？ 让 他 将 未 来 的 事 ， 和 必 成 的 事 说 明 。
[kjv] And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
[bbe] If there is one like me, let him come forward and say it, let him make it clear and put it in order before me: who has made clear in the past the things to come? let him make clear the future to me.
44:8 [hgb] 你 们 不 要 恐 惧 ， 也 不 要 害 怕 。 我 岂 不 是 从 上 古 就 说 明 指 示 你 们 吗 ？ 并 且 你 们 是 我 的 见 证 ， 除 我 以 外 ， 岂 有 真 神 吗 ？ 诚 然 没 有 磐 石 ， 我 不 知 道 一 个 。
[kjv] Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
[bbe] Have no fear, be strong in heart; have I not made it clear to you in the past, and let you see it? and you are my witnesses. Is there any God but me, or a Rock of whom I have no knowledge?
44:9 [hgb] 制 造 雕 刻 偶 像 的 ， 尽 都 虚 空 。 他 们 所 喜 悦 的 ， 都 无 益 处 。 他 们 的 见 证 ， 无 所 看 见 ， 无 所 知 晓 ， 他 们 便 觉 羞 愧 。
[kjv] They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable4 things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
[bbe] Those who make a pictured image are all of them as nothing, and the things of their desire will be of no profit to them: and their servants see not, and have no knowledge; so they will be put to shame.
44:10 [hgb] 谁 制 造 神 像 ， 铸 造 无 益 的 偶 像 ？
[kjv] Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
[bbe] Whoever makes a god, makes nothing but a metal image in which there is no profit.
44:11 [hgb] 看 哪 ， 他 的 同 伴 都 必 羞 愧 ， 工 匠 也 不 过 是 人 。 任 他 们 聚 会 ， 任 他 们 站 立 ， 都 必 惧 怕 ， 一 同 羞 愧 。
[kjv] Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
[bbe] Truly, all those who make use of secret arts will be put to shame, and their words of power are only words of men: let them all come forward together; they will all be in fear and be put to shame.
44:12 [hgb] 铁 匠 把 铁 在 火 炭 中 烧 热 ， 用 锤 打 铁 器 ， 用 他 有 力 的 臂 膀 锤 成 。 他 饥 饿 而 无 力 ， 不 喝 水 而 发 倦 。
[kjv] The smith with the tongs5 both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.
[bbe] The iron-worker is heating the metal in the fire, giving it form with his hammers, and working on it with his strong arm: then for need of food his strength gives way, and for need of water he becomes feeble.
44:13 [hgb] 木 匠 拉 线 ， 用 笔 划 出 样 子 。 用 刨 子 刨 成 形 状 ， 用 圆 尺 划 了 模 样 ， 仿 照 人 的 体 态 ， 作 成 人 形 ， 好 住 在 房 屋 中 。
[kjv] The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.
[bbe] The woodworker is measuring out the wood with his line, marking it out with his pencil: after smoothing it with his plane, and making circles on it with his instrument, he gives it the form and glory of a man, so that it may be placed in the house.
44:14 [hgb] 他 砍 伐 香 柏 树 ， 又 取 柞 （ 或 作 青 桐 ） 树 和 橡 树 ， 在 树 林 中 选 定 了 一 棵 。 他 栽 种 松 树 得 雨 长 养 ，
[kjv] He heweth him down cedars6, and taketh the cypress7 and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.
[bbe] He has cedars cut down for himself, he takes an oak and lets it get strong among the trees of the wood; he has an ash-tree planted, and the rain gives it growth.
44:15 [hgb] 这 树 ， 人 可 用 以 烧 火 ， 他 自 己 取 些 烤 火 ， 又 烧 着 烤 饼 。 而 且 作 神 像 跪 拜 ， 作 雕 刻 的 偶 像 向 它 叩 拜 。
[kjv] Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
[bbe] Then it will be used to make a fire, so that a man may get warm; he has the oven heated with it and makes bread: he makes a god with it, to which he gives worship: he makes a pictured image out of it, and goes down on his face before it.
44:16 [hgb] 他 把 一 分 烧 在 火 中 ， 把 一 分 烤 肉 吃 饱 。 自 己 烤 火 说 ， 阿 哈 ， 我 暖 和 了 ， 我 见 火 了 。
[kjv] He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
[bbe] With part of it he makes a fire, and on the fire he gets meat cooked and takes a full meal: he makes himself warm, and says, Aha! I am warm, I have seen the fire:
44:17 [hgb] 他 用 剩 下 的 作 了 一 神 ， 就 是 雕 刻 的 偶 像 ， 他 向 这 偶 像 俯 伏 叩 拜 ， 祷 告 它 说 ， 求 你 拯 救 我 ， 因 你 是 我 的 神 。
[kjv] And the residue8 thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
[bbe] And the rest of it he makes into a god, even his pictured image: he goes down on his face before it, giving worship to it, and making prayer to it, saying, Be my saviour9; for you are my god.
44:18 [hgb] 他 们 不 知 道 ， 也 不 思 想 ， 因 为 耶 和 华 闭 住 他 们 的 眼 不 能 看 见 ， 塞 住 他 们 的 心 不 能 明 白 。
[kjv] They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
[bbe] They have no knowledge or wisdom; for he has put a veil over their eyes, so that they may not see; and on their hearts, so that they may not give attention.
44:19 [hgb] 谁 心 里 也 不 醒 悟 ， 也 没 有 知 识 ， 没 有 聪 明 ， 能 说 ， 我 曾 拿 一 分 在 火 中 烧 了 ， 在 炭 火 上 烤 过 饼 ， 我 也 烤 过 肉 吃 ， 这 剩 下 的 ， 我 岂 要 作 可 憎 的 物 吗 ？ 我 岂 可 向 木 ？ ？ 子 叩 拜 呢 ？
[kjv] And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
[bbe] And no one takes note, no one has enough knowledge or wisdom to say, I have put part of it in the fire, and made bread on it; I have had a meal of the flesh cooked with it: and am I now to make the rest of it into a false god? am I to go down on my face before a bit of wood?
44:20 [hgb] 他 以 灰 为 食 ， 心 中 昏 迷 ， 使 他 偏 邪 ， 他 不 能 自 救 ， 也 不 能 说 ， 我 右 手 中 岂 不 是 有 虚 谎 吗 ？
[kjv] He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
[bbe] As for him whose food is the dust of a dead fire, he has been turned from the way by a twisted mind, so that he is unable to keep himself safe by saying, What I have here in my hand is false.
44:21 [hgb] 雅 各 以 色 列 阿 ， 你 是 我 的 仆 人 ， 要 记 念 这 些 事 。 以 色 列 阿 ， 你 是 我 的 仆 人 ， 我 造 就 你 必 不 忘 记 你 。
[kjv] Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
[bbe] Keep these things in mind, O Jacob; and you Israel, for you are my servant: I have made you; you are my servant; O Israel, I will not let you go out of my memory.
44:22 [hgb] 我 涂 抹 了 你 的 过 犯 ， 像 厚 云 消 散 。 我 涂 抹 了 你 的 罪 恶 ， 如 薄 云 灭 没 。 你 当 归 向 我 ， 因 我 救 赎 了 你 。
[kjv] I have blotted10 out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions11, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed12 thee.
[bbe] I have put your evil doings out of my mind like a thick cloud, and your sins like a mist: come back to me; for I have taken up your cause.
44:23 [hgb] 诸 天 哪 ， 应 当 歌 唱 ， 因 为 耶 和 华 作 成 这 事 。 地 的 深 处 阿 ， 应 当 欢 呼 ， 众 山 应 当 发 声 歌 唱 ， 树 林 和 其 中 所 有 的 树 ， 都 当 如 此 ， 因 为 耶 和 华 救 赎 了 雅 各 ， 并 要 因 以 色 列 荣 耀 自 己 。
[kjv] Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth13 into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified14 himself in Israel.
[bbe] Make a song, O heavens, for the Lord has done it: give a loud cry, you deep parts of the earth: let your voices be loud in song, you mountains, and you woods with all your trees: for the Lord has taken up the cause of Jacob, and will let his glory be seen in Israel.
44:24 [hgb] 从 你 出 胎 ， 造 就 你 的 救 赎 主 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 我 耶 和 华 是 创 造 万 物 的 ， 是 独 自 铺 张 诸 天 ， 铺 开 大 地 的 。 （ 谁 与 我 同 在 呢 ）
[kjv] Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
[bbe] The Lord, who has taken up your cause, and who gave you life in your mother's body, says, I am the Lord who makes all things; stretching out the heavens by myself, and giving the earth its limits; who was with me?
44:25 [hgb] 使 说 假 话 的 兆 头 失 效 ， 使 占 卜 的 癫 狂 ， 使 智 慧 人 退 后 ， 使 他 的 知 识 变 为 愚 拙 。
[kjv] That frustrateth the tokens of the liars15, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
[bbe] Who makes the signs of those who give word of the future come to nothing, so that those who have knowledge of secret arts go off their heads; turning the wise men back, and making their knowledge foolish:
44:26 [hgb] 使 我 仆 人 的 话 语 立 定 ， 我 使 者 的 谋 算 成 就 。 论 到 耶 路 撒 冷 说 ， 必 有 人 居 住 。 论 到 犹 大 的 城 邑 说 ， 必 被 建 造 。 其 中 的 荒 场 我 也 必 兴 起 。
[kjv] That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
[bbe] Who makes the word of his servants certain, and gives effect to the purposes of his representatives; who says of Jerusalem, Her people will come back to her; and of the towns of Judah, I will give orders for their building, and will make her waste places fertile again:
44:27 [hgb] 对 深 渊 说 ， 你 干 了 吧 。 我 也 要 使 你 的 江 河 干 涸 。
[kjv] That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:
[bbe] Who says to the deep, Be dry, and I will make your rivers dry:
44:28 [hgb] 论 古 列 说 ， 他 是 我 的 牧 人 ， 必 成 就 我 所 喜 悦 的 ， 必 下 令 建 造 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 发 命 立 稳 圣 殿 的 根 基 。
[kjv] That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
