Chapter 1

1:1 [hgb]  便 雅 悯 地 亚 拿 突 城 的 祭 司 中 ， 希 勒 家 的 儿 子 耶 利 米 的 话 记 在 下 面 。 
    [kjv]  The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:

1:2 [hgb]  犹 大 王 亚 们 的 儿 子 约 西 亚 在 位 十 三 年 ， 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 耶 利 米 。 
    [kjv]  To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign¹.
    [bbe]  To whom the word of the Lord came in the days of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his rule.
1:3 [hgb]  从 犹 大 王 约 西 亚 的 儿 子 约 雅 敬 在 位 的 时 候 ， 直 到 犹 大 王 约 西 亚 的 儿 子 西 底 家 在 位 的 末 年 ， 就 是 十 一 年 五 月 间 耶 路 撒 冷 人 被 掳 的 时 候 ， 耶 和 华 的 话 也 常 临 到 耶 利 米 。 
    [kjv]  It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.
    [bbe]  And it came again in the days of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, up to the eleventh year of Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, king of Judah; till Jerusalem was taken away in the fifth month.
1:4 [hgb]  耶 利 米 说 ， 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 我 说 ， 
    [kjv]  Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
    [bbe]  Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
1:5 [hgb]  我 未 将 你 造 在 腹 中 ， 我 已 晓 得 你 。 你 未 出 母 胎 ， 我 已 分 别 你 为 圣 。 我 已 派 你 作 列 国 的 先 知 。 
    [kjv]  Before I formed thee in the belly² I knew thee; and before thou camest forth³ out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained⁴ thee a prophet unto the nations.
    [bbe]  Before you were formed in the body of your mother I had knowledge of you, and before your birth I made you holy; I have given you the work of being a prophet to the nations.
1:6 [hgb]  我 就 说 ， 主 耶 和 华 阿 ， 我 不 知 怎 样 说 ， 因 为 我 是 年 幼 的 。 
    [kjv]  Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold⁵, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
    [bbe]  Then said I, O Lord God! see, I have no power of words, for I am a child.
1:7 [hgb]  耶 和 华 对 我 说 ， 你 不 要 说 我 是 年 幼 的 ， 因 为 我 差 遣 你 到 谁 那 里 去 ， 你 都 要 去 。 我 吩 咐 你 说 什 么 话 ， 你 都 要 说 。 
    [kjv]  But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever⁶ I command thee thou shalt speak.
    [bbe]  But the Lord said to me, Do not say, I am a child: for wherever I send you, you are to go, and whatever I give you orders to say, you are to say.
1:8 [hgb]  你 不 要 惧 怕 他 们 ， 因 为 我 与 你 同 在 ， 要 拯 救 你 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
    [bbe]  Have no fear because of them: for I am with you, to keep you safe, says the Lord.
1:9 [hgb]  于 是 耶 和 华 伸 手 按 我 的 口 ， 对 我 说 ， 我 已 将 当 说 的 话 传 给 你 。 
    [kjv]  Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
    [bbe]  Then the Lord put out his hand, touching⁷ my mouth; and the Lord said to me, See, I have put my words in your mouth:
1:10 [hgb]  看 哪 ， 我 今 日 立 你 在 列 邦 列 国 之 上 ， 为 要 施 行 拔 出 ， 拆 毁 ， 毁 坏 ， 倾 覆 ， 又 要 建 立 ， 栽 植 。 
    [kjv]  See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
    [bbe]  See, this day I have put you over the nations and over the kingdoms, for uprooting⁸ and smashing down, for destruction and overturning, for building up and planting.
1:11 [hgb]  耶 和 华 的 话 又 临 到 我 说 ， 耶 利 米 ， 你 看 见 什 么 。 我 说 ， 我 看 见 一 根 杏 树 枝 。 
    [kjv]  Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
    [bbe]  Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a branch of an almond-tree.
1:12 [hgb]  耶 和 华 对 我 说 ， 你 看 得 不 错 。 因 为 我 留 意 保 守 我 的 话 ， 使 得 成 就 。 
    [kjv]  Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
    [bbe]  Then the Lord said to me, You have seen well: for I keep watch over my word to give effect to it.
1:13 [hgb]  耶 和 华 的 话 第 二 次 临 到 我 说 ， 你 看 见 什 么 。 我 说 ， 我 看 见 一 个 烧 开 的 锅 ， 从 北 而 倾 。 
    [kjv]  And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething⁹ pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.
    [bbe]  And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, What do you see? And I said, I see a boiling pot, and its face is from the north.
1:14 [hgb]  耶 和 华 对 我 说 ， 必 有 灾 祸 从 北 方 发 出 ， 临 到 这 地 的 一 切 居 民 。 
    [kjv]  Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.
    [bbe]  Then the Lord said to me, Out of the north evil will come, bursting out on all the people of the land.
1:15 [hgb]  耶 和 华 说 ， 看 哪 ， 我 要 召 北 方 列 国 的 众 族 。 他 们 要 来 ， 各 安 座 位 在 耶 路 撒 冷 的 城 门 口 ， 周 围 攻 击 城 墙 ， 又 要 攻 击 犹 大 的 一 切 城 邑 。 
    [kjv]  For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
    [bbe]  For see, I will send for all the families of the kingdoms of the north, says the Lord; and they will come, everyone placing his high seat at the way into Jerusalem, and against its walls on every side, and against all the towns of Judah.
1:16 [hgb]  至 于 这 民 的 一 切 恶 ， 就 是 离 弃 我 ， 向 别 神 烧 香 ， 跪 拜 自 己 手 所 造 的 ， 我 要 发 出 我 的 判 语 ， 攻 击 他 们 。 
    [kjv]  And I will utter my judgments¹⁰ against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken¹¹ me, and have burned incense¹² unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
    [bbe]  And I will give my decision against them on account of all their evil-doing; because they have given me up, burning perfumes to other gods and worshipping the works of their hands.
1:17 [hgb]  所 以 你 当 束 腰 ， 起 来 将 我 所 吩 咐 你 的 一 切 话 告 诉 他 们 。 不 要 因 他 们 惊 惶 ， 免 得 我 使 你 在 他 们 面 前 惊 惶 。 
    [kjv]  Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.
    [bbe]  So make yourself ready, and go and say to them everything I give you orders to say: do not be overcome by fear of them, or I will send fear on you before them.
1:18 [hgb]  看 哪 ， 我 今 日 使 你 成 为 坚 城 ， 铁 柱 ， 铜 墙 ， 与 全 地 和 犹 大 的 君 王 ， 首 领 ， 祭 司 ， 并 地 上 的 众 民 反 对 。 
    [kjv]  For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
    [bbe]  For see, this day have I made you a walled town, and an iron pillar, and walls of brass¹³, against all the land, against the kings of Judah, against its captains, against its priests, and against the people of the land.
1:19 [hgb]  他 们 要 攻 击 你 ， 却 不 能 胜 你 。 因 为 我 与 你 同 在 ， 要 拯 救 你 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
    [bbe]  They will be fighting against you, but they will not overcome you: for I am with you, says the Lord, to give you salvation¹⁴.

1 reign   

n.统治时期，统治，支配，盛行；v.占优势
