    [kjv]  Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2:2 [hgb]  你 去 向 耶 路 撒 冷 人 的 耳 中 喊 叫 说 , 耶 和 华 如 此 说 , 你 幼 年 的 恩 爱 , 婚 姻 的 爱 情 , 你 怎 样 在 旷 野 , 在 未 曾 耕 种 之 地 跟 随 我 , 我 都 记 得 。 
    [kjv]  Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness1, in a land that was not sown.
    [bbe]  Go and say in the ears of Jerusalem, The Lord says, I still keep the memory of your kind heart when you were young, and your love when you became my bride; how you went after me in the waste of sand, in an unplanted land.
2:3 [hgb]  那 时 以 色 列 归 耶 和 华 为 圣 , 作 为 土 产 初 熟 的 果 子 。 凡 吞 吃 它 的 必 算 为 有 罪 , 灾 祸 必 临 到 他 们 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour2 him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.
    [bbe]  Israel was holy to the Lord, the first-fruits of his increase: all who made attacks on him were judged as wrongdoers, evil came on them, says the Lord.
2:4 [hgb]  雅 各 家 , 以 色 列 家 的 各 族 阿 , 你 们 当 听 耶 和 华 的 话 。 
    [kjv]  Hear ye the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel:
    [bbe]  Give ear to the words of the Lord, O sons of Jacob and all the families of Israel:
2:5 [hgb]  耶 和 华 如 此 说 , 你 们 的 列 祖 见 我 有 什 么 不 义 , 竟 远 离 我 , 随 从 虚 无 的 神 , 自 己 成 为 虚 妄 的 呢 ? 
    [kjv]  Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity3 have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?
    [bbe]  These are the words of the Lord: What evil have your fathers seen in me that they have gone far from me, and, walking after what is false, have become false?
2:6 [hgb]  他 们 也 不 说 , 那 领 我 们 从 埃 及 地 上 来 , 引 导 我 们 经 过 旷 野 , 沙 漠 有 深 坑 之 地 , 和 干 旱 死 荫 , 无 人 经 过 , 无 人 居 住 之 地 的 耶 和 华 在 哪 里 呢 ? 
    [kjv]  Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?
    [bbe]  And they never said, Where is the Lord, who took us up out of the land of Egypt; who was our guide through the waste of sand, through an unplanted land full of deep holes, through a dry land of deep shade, which no one went through and where no man was living?
2:7 [hgb]  我 领 你 们 进 入 肥 美 之 地 , 使 你 们 得 吃 其 中 的 果 子 和 美 物 。 但 你 们 进 入 的 时 候 就 玷 污 我 的 地 , 使 我 的 产 业 成 为 可 憎 的 。 
    [kjv]  And I brought you into a plentiful5 country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled6 my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.
    [bbe]  And I took you into a fertile land, where you were living on its fruit and its wealth; but when you came in, you made my land unclean, and made my heritage a disgusting thing.
2:8 [hgb]  祭 司 都 不 说 , 耶 和 华 在 哪 里 呢 ? 传 讲 律 法 的 都 不 认 识 我 。 官 长 违 背 我 。 先 知 借 巴 力 说 预 言 , 随 从 无 益 的 神 。 
    [kjv]  The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors7 also transgressed8 against me, and the prophets prophesied10 by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
    [bbe]  The priests did not say, Where is the Lord? and those who were expert in the law had no knowledge of me: and the rulers did evil against me, and the prophets became prophets of the Baal, going after things without value.
2:9 [hgb]  耶 和 华 说 , 我 因 此 必 与 你 们 争 辩 , 也 必 与 你 们 的 子 孙 争 辩 。 
    [kjv]  Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD, and with your children's children will I plead.
    [bbe]  For this reason, I will again put forward my cause against you, says the Lord, even against you and against your children's children.
2:10 [hgb]  你 们 且 过 到 基 提 海 岛 去 察 看 , 打 发 人 往 基 达 去 留 心 查 考 , 看 曾 有 这 样 的 事 没 有 。 
    [kjv]  For pass over the isles11 of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently12, and see if there be such a thing.
    [bbe]  For go over to the sea-lands of Kittim and see; send to Kedar and give deep thought to it; and see if there has ever been such a thing.
2:11 [hgb]  岂 有 一 国 换 了 他 的 神 吗 ? 其 实 这 不 是 神 。 但 我 的 百 姓 将 他 们 的 荣 耀 换 了 那 无 益 的 神 。 
    [kjv]  Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
    [bbe]  Has any nation ever made a change in their gods, though they are no gods? but my people have given up their glory in exchange for what is of no profit.
2:12 [hgb]  诸 天 哪 , 要 因 此 惊 奇 , 极 其 恐 慌 , 甚 为 凄 凉 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate13, saith the LORD.
    [bbe]  Be full of wonder, O heavens, at this; be overcome with fear, be completely waste, says the Lord.
2:13 [hgb]  因 为 我 的 百 姓 作 了 两 件 恶 事 , 就 是 离 弃 我 这 活 水 的 泉 源 , 为 自 己 凿 出 池 子 , 是 破 裂 不 能 存 水 的 池 子 。 
    [kjv]  For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken14 me the fountain of living waters, and hewed15 them out cisterns16, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
    [bbe]  For my people have done two evils; they have given up me, the fountain of living waters, and have made for themselves water-holes, cut out from the rock, broken water-holes, of no use for storing water.
2:14 [hgb]  以 色 列 是 仆 人 吗 ? 是 家 中 生 的 奴 仆 吗 ? 为 何 成 为 掠 物 呢 ? 
    [kjv]  Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? why is he spoiled?
    [bbe]  Is Israel a servant? has he been a house-servant from birth? why has he been made waste?
2:15 [hgb]  少 壮 狮 子 向 他 咆 哮 , 大 声 吼 叫 , 使 他 的 地 荒 凉 。 城 邑 也 都 焚 烧 , 无 人 居 住 。 
    [kjv]  The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant.
    [bbe]  The young lions have made an outcry against him with a loud voice: they have made his land waste; his towns are burned up, with no one living in them.
2:16 [hgb]  挪 弗 人 和 答 比 匿 人 也 打 破 你 的 头 顶 。 
    [kjv]  Also the children of Noph and Tahapanes have broken the crown of thy head.
    [bbe]  Even the children of Noph and Tahpanhes have put shame on you.
2:17 [hgb]  这 事 临 到 你 身 上 , 不 是 你 自 招 的 吗 ? 不 是 因 耶 和 华 你 神 引 你 行 路 的 时 候 , 你 离 弃 他 吗 ? 
    [kjv]  Hast thou not procured17 this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, when he led thee by the way?
    [bbe]  Has not this come on you because you have given up the Lord your God, who was your guide by the way?
2:18 [hgb]  现 今 你 为 何 在 埃 及 路 上 要 喝 西 曷 的 水 呢 ? 你 为 何 在 亚 述 路 上 要 喝 大 河 的 水 呢 ? 
    [kjv]  And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?
    [bbe]  And now, what have you to do on the way to Egypt, to get your drink from the waters of the Nile? or what have you to do on the way to Assyria, to get your drink from the waters of the River?
2:19 [hgb]  你 自 己 的 恶 必 惩 治 你 。 你 背 道 的 事 必 责 备 你 。 由 此 可 知 可 见 , 你 离 弃 耶 和 华 你 的 神 , 不 存 敬 畏 我 的 心 , 乃 为 恶 事 , 为 苦 事 。 这 是 主 万 军 之 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
    [bbe]  The evil you yourselves have done will be your punishment, your errors will be your judge: be certain then, and see that it is an evil and a bitter thing to give up the Lord your God, and no longer to be moved by fear of me, says the Lord, the Lord of armies.
2:20 [hgb]  我 在 古 时 折 断 你 的 轭 , 解 开 你 的 绳 索 。 你 说 , 我 必 不 事 奉 耶 和 华 。 因 为 你 在 各 高 冈 上 , 各 青 翠 树 下 屈 身 行 淫 。 ( 或 作 我 在 古 时 折 断 你 的 轭 , 解 开 你 的 绳 索 , 你 就 说 , 我 必 不 事 奉 别 神 。 谁 知 你 在 各 高 冈 上 , 各 青 翠 树 下 , 仍 屈 身 行 淫 。 ) 
    [kjv]  For of old time I have broken thy yoke18, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress9; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
    [bbe]  For in the past, your yoke was broken by your hands and your cords parted; and you said, I will not be your servant; for on every high hill and under every branching tree, your behaviour was like that of a loose woman
2:21 [hgb]  然 而 , 我 栽 你 是 上 等 的 葡 萄 树 , 全 然 是 真 种 子 。 你 怎 么 向 我 变 为 外 邦 葡 萄 树 的 坏 枝 子 呢 ? 
    [kjv]  Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate19 plant of a strange vine unto me?
    [bbe]  But when you were planted by me, you were a noble vine, in every way a true seed: how then have you been changed into the branching plant of a strange vine?
2:22 [hgb]  你 虽 用 碱 , 多 用 肥 皂 洗 濯 , 你 罪 孽 的 痕 迹 仍 然 在 我 面 前 显 出 。 这 是 主 耶 和 华 说 的 。 
    [kjv]  For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.
    [bbe]  For even if you are washed with soda20 and take much soap, still your evil-doing is marked before me, says the Lord God.
2:23 [hgb]  你 怎 能 说 , 我 没 有 玷 污 , 没 有 随 从 众 巴 力 。 你 看 你 谷 中 的 路 , 就 知 道 你 所 行 的 如 何 。 你 是 快 行 的 独 峰 驼 , 狂 奔 乱 走 。 
    [kjv]  How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways;
    [bbe]  How are you able to say, I am not unclean, I have not gone after the Baals? see your way in the valley, be clear about what you have done: you are a quick-footed camel twisting her way in and out;
2:24 [hgb]  你 是 野 驴 , 惯 在 旷 野 , 欲 心 发 动 就 吸 风 。 起 性 的 时 候 谁 能 使 它 转 去 呢 ? 凡 寻 找 它 的 必 不 至 疲 乏 。 在 它 的 月 分 必 能 寻 见 。 
    [kjv]  A wild ass4 used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind at her pleasure; in her occasion who can turn her away? all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her.
    [bbe]  An untrained ass, used to the waste land, breathing up the wind in her desire; at her time, who is able to send her away? all those who are looking for her will have no need to make themselves tired; in her month they will get her.
2:25 [hgb]  我 说 , 你 不 要 使 脚 上 无 鞋 , 喉 咙 干 渴 。 你 倒 说 , 这 是 枉 然 。 我 喜 爱 别 神 , 我 必 随 从 他 们 。 
    [kjv]  Withhold21 thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.
    [bbe]  Do not let your foot be without shoes, or your throat dry from need of water: but you said, There is no hope: no, for I have been a lover of strange gods, and after them I will go.
2:26 [hgb]  贼 被 捉 拿 , 怎 样 羞 愧 , 以 色 列 家 和 他 们 的 君 王 , 首 领 , 祭 司 , 先 知 也 都 照 样 羞 愧 。 
    [kjv]  As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets,
    [bbe]  As the thief is shamed when he is taken, so is Israel shamed; they, their kings and their rulers, their priests and their prophets;
2:27 [hgb]  他 们 向 木 头 说 , 你 是 我 的 父 。 向 石 头 说 , 你 是 生 我 的 。 他 们 以 背 向 我 , 不 以 面 向 我 。 及 至 遭 遇 患 难 的 时 候 却 说 , 起 来 拯 救 我 们 。 
    [kjv]  Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth22: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.
    [bbe]  Who say to a tree, You are my father; and to a stone, You have given me life: for their backs have been turned to me, not their faces: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Up! and be our saviour23.
2:28 [hgb]  你 为 自 己 作 的 神 在 哪 里 呢 ? 你 遭 遇 患 难 的 时 候 , 叫 他 们 起 来 拯 救 你 吧 。 犹 大 阿 , 你 神 的 数 目 与 你 城 的 数 目 相 等 。 
    [kjv]  But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
    [bbe]  But where are the gods you have made for yourselves? let them come, if they are able to give you salvation24 in the time of your trouble: for the number of your gods is as the number of your towns, O Judah.
2:29 [hgb]  耶 和 华 说 , 你 们 为 何 与 我 争 辩 呢 ? 你 们 都 违 背 了 我 。 
    [kjv]  Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD.
    [bbe]  Why will you put forward your cause against me? You have all done evil against me, says the Lord.
2:30 [hgb]  我 责 打 你 们 的 儿 女 是 徒 然 的 , 他 们 不 受 惩 治 。 你 们 自 己 的 刀 吞 灭 你 们 的 先 知 , 好 像 残 害 的 狮 子 。 
    [kjv]  In vain have I smitten25 your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured26 your prophets, like a destroying lion.
    [bbe]  I gave your children blows to no purpose; they got no good from training: your sword has been the destruction of your prophets, like a death-giving lion.
2:31 [hgb]  这 世 代 的 人 哪 , 你 们 要 看 明 耶 和 华 的 话 。 我 岂 向 以 色 列 作 旷 野 呢 ? 或 作 幽 暗 之 地 呢 ? 我 的 百 姓 为 何 说 , 我 们 脱 离 约 束 , 再 不 归 向 你 了 。 
    [kjv]  O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
    [bbe]  O generation, see the word of the Lord. Have I been a waste land to Israel? or a land of dark night? why do my people say, We have got loose, we will not come to you again?

2:33 [hgb]  你 怎 么 修 饰 你 的 道 路 要 求 爱 情 呢 ? 就 是 恶 劣 的 妇 人 你 也 叫 她 们 行 你 的 路 。 
    [kjv]  Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways.
    [bbe]  With what care are your ways ordered when you are looking for love! so ... your ways.
2:34 [hgb]  并 且 你 的 衣 襟 上 有 无 辜 穷 人 的 血 。 你 杀 他 们 并 不 是 遇 见 他 们 挖 窟 窿 , 乃 是 因 这 一 切 的 事 。

    [kjv]  Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold30, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.
    [bbe]  And still you said, I have done no wrong; truly, his wrath31 is turned away from me. See, I will take up the cause against you, because you say, I have done no wrong.
2:36 [hgb]  你 为 何 东 跑 西 奔 要 更 换 你 的 路 呢 ? 你 必 因 埃 及 蒙 羞 , 像 从 前 因 亚 述 蒙 羞 一 样 。 
    [kjv]  Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way? thou also shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria.
    [bbe]  Why do you go about so much for the purpose of changing your way? you will be shamed on account of Egypt, as you were shamed on account of Assyria.
2:37 [hgb]  你 也 必 两 手 抱 头 从 埃 及 出 来 。 因 为 耶 和 华 已 经 弃 绝 你 所 倚 靠 的 , 你 必 不 因 他 们 得 顺 利 。 
    [kjv]  Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thine hands upon thine head: for the LORD hath rejected thy confidences, and thou shalt not prosper32 in them.
    [bbe]  Truly, you will go out from him with your hands on your head: for the Lord has given up those in whom you have put your faith, and they will be of no help to you.
