[kjv] The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
[bbe] The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
11:2 [hgb] 当 听 这 约 的 话 ， 告 诉 犹 大 人 和 耶 路 撒 冷 的 居 民 ，
[kjv] Hear ye the words of this covenant1, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
[bbe] Give ear to the words of this agreement, and say to the men of Judah and to the people of Jerusalem,
11:3 [hgb] 对 他 们 说 ， 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 如 此 说 ， 不 听 从 这 约 之 话 的 人 必 受 咒 诅 。
[kjv] And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant,
[bbe] The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, Let that man be cursed who does not give ear to the words of this agreement,
11:4 [hgb] 这 约 是 我 将 你 们 列 祖 从 埃 及 地 领 出 来 ， 脱 离 铁 炉 的 那 日 所 吩 咐 他 们 的 ， 说 ， 你 们 要 听 从 我 的 话 ， 照 我 一 切 所 吩 咐 的 去 行 。 这 样 ， 你 们 就 作 我 的 子 民 ， 我 也 作 你 们 的 神 。
[kjv] Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth2 out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:
[bbe] To the order which I gave your fathers on the day when I took them out of the land of Egypt, out of the oven of iron, saying, Give ear to my voice, and do all the orders I have given you: so you will be my people, and I will be your God:
11:5 [hgb] 我 好 坚 定 向 你 们 列 祖 所 起 的 誓 ， 给 他 们 流 奶 与 蜜 之 地 ， 正 如 今 日 一 样 。 我 就 回 答 说 ， 耶 和 华 阿 ， 阿 们 。
[kjv] That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.
[bbe] So that I may give effect to the oath which I made to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey as at this day. And I said in answer, So be it, O Lord.
11:6 [hgb] 耶 和 华 对 我 说 ， 你 要 在 犹 大 城 邑 中 和 耶 路 撒 冷 街 市 上 ， 宣 告 这 一 切 话 说 ， 你 们 当 听 从 遵 行 这 约 的 话 。
[kjv] Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.
[bbe] And the Lord said to me, Give out these words in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Give ear to the words of this agreement and do them.
11:7 [hgb] 因 为 我 将 你 们 列 祖 从 埃 及 地 领 出 来 的 那 日 ， 直 到 今 日 ， 都 是 从 早 起 来 ， 切 切 告 诫 他 们 说 ， 你 们 当 听 从 我 的 话 。
[kjv] For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
[bbe] For I gave certain witness to your fathers on the day when I took them up out of the land of Egypt, and even to this day, getting up early and witnessing and saying, Give ear to my voice.
11:8 [hgb] 他 们 却 不 听 从 ， 不 侧 耳 而 听 ， 竟 随 从 自 己 顽 梗 的 恶 心 去 行 。 所 以 我 使 这 约 中 一 切 咒 诅 的 话 临 到 他 们 身 上 。 这 约 是 我 吩 咐 他 们 行 的 ， 他 们 却 不 去 行 。
[kjv] Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do: but they did them not.
[bbe] But they gave no attention and did not give ear, but they went on, every man in the pride of his evil heart: so I sent on them all the curses in this agreement, which I gave them orders to keep, but they did not.
11:9 [hgb] 耶 和 华 对 我 说 ， 在 犹 大 人 和 耶 路 撒 冷 居 民 中 有 同 谋 背 叛 的 事 。
[kjv] And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy3 is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
[bbe] And the Lord said to me, There is an evil design at work among the men of Judah and the people of Jerusalem.
11:10 [hgb] 他 们 转 去 效 法 他 们 的 先 祖 ， 不 肯 听 我 的 话 ， 犯 罪 作 孽 ， 又 随 从 别 神 ， 事 奉 它 。 以 色 列 家 和 犹 大 家 背 了 我 与 他 们 列 祖 所 立 的 约 。
[kjv] They are turned back to the iniquities4 of their forefathers5, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.
[bbe] They are turned back to the sins of their fathers, who would not give ear to my words; they have gone after other gods and become their servants: the people of Israel and the people of Judah have not kept the agreement which I made with their fathers.
11:11 [hgb] 所 以 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 我 必 使 灾 祸 临 到 他 们 ， 是 他 们 不 能 逃 脱 的 。 他 们 必 向 我 哀 求 ， 我 却 不 听 。
[kjv] Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold6, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.
[bbe] So the Lord has said, I will send evil on them, which they will not be able to get away from; and they will send up a cry for help to me, but I will not give ear to them.
11:12 [hgb] 那 时 ， 犹 大 城 邑 的 人 和 耶 路 撒 冷 的 居 民 要 去 哀 求 他 们 烧 香 所 供 奉 的 神 。 只 是 遭 难 的 时 候 ， 这 些 神 毫 不 拯 救 他 们 。
[kjv] Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense7: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.
[bbe] Then the towns of Judah and the people of Jerusalem will go crying for help to the gods to whom they have been burning perfumes: but they will give them no salvation8 in the time of their trouble.
11:13 [hgb] 犹 大 阿 ， 你 神 的 数 目 与 你 城 的 数 目 相 等 。 你 为 那 可 耻 的 巴 力 所 筑 烧 香 的 坛 也 与 耶 路 撒 冷 街 道 的 数 目 相 等 。
[kjv] For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful9 thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.
[bbe] For the number of your gods is as the number of your towns, O Judah; and for every street in Jerusalem you have put up altars to the Baal for burning perfumes to the Baal.
11:14 [hgb] 所 以 你 不 要 为 这 百 姓 祈 祷 ， 不 要 为 他 们 呼 求 祷 告 。 因 为 他 们 遭 难 向 我 哀 求 的 时 候 ， 我 必 不 应 允 。
[kjv] Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
[bbe] And as for you, make no prayers for this people, send up no cry or prayer for them: for I will not give ear to their cry in the time of their trouble.
11:15 [hgb] 我 所 亲 爱 的 ， 既 行 许 多 淫 乱 ， 圣 肉 也 离 了 你 ， 你 在 我 殿 中 作 什 么 呢 ？ 你 作 恶 就 喜 乐 。
[kjv] What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought10 lewdness11 with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.
[bbe] About Judah. What have you to do in my house? is it your thought that oaths and holy flesh will get you out of your trouble? will you make yourself safe in this way?
11:16 [hgb] 从 前 耶 和 华 给 你 起 名 叫 青 橄 榄 树 ， 又 华 美 又 结 好 果 子 。 如 今 他 用 哄 嚷 之 声 ， 点 火 在 其 上 ， 枝 子 也 被 折 断 。
[kjv] The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult12 he hath kindled13 fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.
[bbe] You had been named by the Lord, A branching olive-tree, fair with beautiful fruit: with the noise of a great rushing he has put it on fire and its branches are broken.
11:17 [hgb] 原 来 栽 培 你 的 万 军 之 耶 和 华 已 经 说 ， 要 降 祸 攻 击 你 ， 是 因 以 色 列 家 和 犹 大 家 行 恶 ， 向 巴 力 烧 香 ， 惹 我 发 怒 ， 是 自 作 自 受 。
[kjv] For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.
[bbe] For the Lord of armies, by whom you were planted, has given his decision for evil against you, because of the evil which the people of Israel and the people of Judah have done, In moving me to wrath14 by offering perfumes to the Baal.
11:18 [hgb] 耶 和 华 指 示 我 ， 我 就 知 道 。 你 将 他 们 所 行 的 给 我 指 明 。
[kjv] And the LORD hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings.
[bbe] And the Lord gave me knowledge of it and I saw it: then you made clear to me their doings.
11:19 [hgb] 我 却 像 柔 顺 的 羊 羔 被 牵 到 宰 杀 之 地 。 我 并 不 知 道 他 们 设 计 谋 害 我 ， 说 ， 我 们 把 树 连 果 子 都 灭 了 吧 。 将 他 从 活 人 之 地 剪 除 ， 使 他 的 名 不 再 被 记 念 。
[kjv] But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter15; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
[bbe] But I was like a gentle lamb taken to be put to death; I had no thought that they were designing evil against me, saying, Come and let us make trouble his food, cutting him off from the land of the living, so that there may be no more memory of his name.
11:20 [hgb] 按 公 义 判 断 ， 察 验 人 肺 腑 心 肠 的 万 军 之 耶 和 华 阿 ， 我 却 要 见 你 在 他 们 身 上 报 仇 ， 因 我 将 我 的 案 件 向 你 禀 明 了 。
[kjv] But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins16 and the heart, let me see thy vengeance17 on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.
[bbe] But, O Lord of armies, judging in righteousness, testing the thoughts and the heart, let me see your punishment come on them: for I have put my cause before you.
11:21 [hgb] 所 以 ， 耶 和 华 论 到 寻 索 你 命 的 亚 拿 突 人 如 此 说 ， 他 们 说 ， 你 不 要 奉 耶 和 华 的 名 说 预 言 ， 免 得 你 死 在 我 们 手 中 。
[kjv] Therefore thus saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy18 not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:
[bbe] So this is what the Lord of armies has said about the men of Anathoth who have made designs against your life, saying, You are not to be a prophet in the name of the Lord, or death will overtake you by our hands:
11:22 [hgb] 所 以 万 军 之 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 看 哪 ， 我 必 刑 罚 他 们 。 他 们 的 少 年 人 必 被 刀 剑 杀 死 ， 他 们 的 儿 女 必 因 饥 荒 灭 亡 ，
[kjv] Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:
[bbe] So the Lord of armies has said, See, I will send punishment on them: the young men will be put to the sword; their sons and their daughters will come to death through need of food:
11:23 [hgb] 并 且 没 有 余 剩 的 人 留 给 他 们 。 因 为 在 追 讨 之 年 ， 我 必 使 灾 祸 临 到 亚 拿 突 人 。
[kjv] And there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation.
[bbe] Not one of them will keep his life, for I will send evil on the men of Anathoth in the year of their punishment.
