Chapter 12

12:1 [hgb]  弟 兄 们 ， 论 到 属 灵 的 恩 赐 ， 我 不 愿 意 你 们 不 明 白 。 
    [kjv]  Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
    [bbe]  But about the things of the spirit, my brothers, it is not right for you to be without teaching.
12:2 [hgb]  你 们 作 外 邦 人 的 时 候 ， 随 事 被 牵 引 受 迷 惑 ， 去 服 事 那 哑 吧 偶 像 。 这 是 你 们 知 道 的 。 
    [kjv]  Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols¹, even as ye were led.
    [bbe]  You are conscious that when you were Gentiles, in whatever way you were guided, you went after images without voice or power.
12:3 [hgb]  所 以 我 告 诉 你 们 ， 被 神 的 灵 感 动 的 ， 没 有 说 耶 稣 是 可 咒 诅 的 。 若 不 是 被 圣 灵 感 动 的 ， 也 没 有 能 说 耶 稣 是 主 的 。 
    [kjv]  Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
    [bbe]  So it is my desire for you to be clear about this; that no one is able to say by the Spirit of God that Jesus is cursed; and no one is able to say that Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
12:4 [hgb]  恩 赐 原 有 分 别 ， 圣 灵 却 是 一 位 。 
    [kjv]  Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
    [bbe]  Now there are different qualities given to men, but the same Spirit.
12:5 [hgb]  职 事 也 有 分 别 ， 主 却 是 一 位 。 
    [kjv]  And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
    [bbe]  And there are different sorts of servants, but the same Lord.
12:6 [hgb]  功 用 也 有 分 别 ， 神 却 是 一 位 ， 在 众 人 里 面 运 行 一 切 的 事 。 
    [kjv]  And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
    [bbe]  And there are different operations, but the same God, who is working all things in all.
12:7 [hgb]  圣 灵 显 在 各 人 身 上 ， 是 叫 人 得 益 处 。 
    [kjv]  But the manifestation³ of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
    [bbe]  But to every man some form of the Spirit's working is given for the common good.
12:8 [hgb]  这 人 蒙 圣 灵 赐 他 智 慧 的 言 语 。 那 人 也 蒙 这 位 圣 灵 赐 他 知 识 的 言 语 。 
    [kjv]  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
    [bbe]  For to one are given words of wisdom through the Spirit; and to another words of knowledge through the same Spirit:
12:9 [hgb]  又 有 一 人 蒙 这 位 圣 灵 赐 他 信 心 。 还 有 一 人 蒙 这 位 圣 灵 赐 他 医 病 的 恩 赐 。 
    [kjv]  To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
    [bbe]  To another faith in the same Spirit; and to another the power of taking away disease, by the one Spirit;
12:10 [hgb]  又 叫 一 人 能 行 异 能 。 又 叫 一 人 能 作 先 知 。 又 叫 一 人 能 辨 别 诸 灵 。 又 叫 一 人 能 说 方 言 。 又 叫 一 人 能 翻 方 言 。 
    [kjv]  To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers² kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation⁴ of tongues:
    [bbe]  And to another the power of working wonders; and to another the prophet's word; and to another the power of testing spirits; to another different sorts of tongues; and to another the power of making clear the sense of the tongues:
12:11 [hgb]  这 一 切 都 是 这 位 圣 灵 所 运 行 ， 随 己 意 分 给 各 人 的 。 
    [kjv]  But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
    [bbe]  But all these are the operations of the one and the same Spirit, giving to every man separately as his pleasure is.
12:12 [hgb]  就 如 身 子 是 一 个 ， 却 有 许 多 肢 体 。 而 且 肢 体 虽 多 ， 仍 是 一 个 身 子 。 基 督 也 是 这 样 。 
    [kjv]  For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
    [bbe]  For as the body is one, and has a number of parts, and all the parts make one body, so is Christ.
12:13 [hgb]  我 们 不 拘 是 犹 太 人 ， 是 希 利 尼 人 ， 是 为 奴 的 ， 是 自 主 的 ， 都 从 一 位 圣 灵 受 洗 ， 成 了 一 个 身 体 。 饮 于 一 位 圣 灵 。 
    [kjv]  For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
    [bbe]  For through the baptism of the one Spirit we were all formed into one body, Jews or Greeks, servants or free men, and were all made full of the same Spirit.
12:14 [hgb]  身 子 原 不 是 一 个 肢 体 ， 乃 是 许 多 肢 体 。 
    [kjv]  For the body is not one member, but many.
    [bbe]  For the body is not one part, but a number of parts.
12:15 [hgb]  设 若 脚 说 ， 我 不 是 手 ， 所 以 不 属 乎 身 子 。 它 不 能 因 此 就 不 属 乎 身 子 。 
    [kjv]  If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
    [bbe]  If the foot says, Because I am not the hand, I am not a part of the body; it is no less a part of the body.
12:16 [hgb]  设 若 耳 说 ， 我 不 是 眼 ， 所 以 不 属 乎 身 子 。 它 也 不 能 因 此 就 不 属 乎 身 子 。 
    [kjv]  And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
    [bbe]  And if the ear says, Because I am not the eye, I am not a part of the body; it is a part of the body all the same.
12:17 [hgb]  若 全 身 是 眼 ， 从 哪 里 听 声 呢 ？ 若 全 身 是 耳 ， 从 哪 里 闻 味 呢 ？ 
    [kjv]  If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
    [bbe]  If all the body was an eye, where would be the hearing? if all was hearing, where would be the smelling?
12:18 [hgb]  但 如 今 神 随 自 己 的 意 思 ， 把 肢 体 俱 各 安 排 在 身 上 了 。 
    [kjv]  But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
    [bbe]  But now God has put every one of the parts in the body as it was pleasing to him.
12:19 [hgb]  若 都 是 一 个 肢 体 ， 身 子 在 哪 里 呢 ？ 
    [kjv]  And if they were all one member, where were the body?
    [bbe]  And if they were all one part, where would the body be?
12:20 [hgb]  但 如 今 肢 体 是 多 的 ， 身 子 却 是 一 个 。 
    [kjv]  But now are they many members, yet but one body.
    [bbe]  But now they are all different parts, but one body.
12:21 [hgb]  眼 不 能 对 手 说 ， 我 用 不 着 你 。 头 也 不 能 对 脚 说 ， 我 用 不 着 你 。 
    [kjv]  And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
    [bbe]  And the eye may not say to the hand, I have no need of you: or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
12:22 [hgb]  不 但 如 此 ， 身 上 肢 体 人 以 为 软 弱 的 ， 更 是 不 可 少 的 。 
    [kjv]  Nay⁵, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
    [bbe]  No, those parts which seem to be feeble are the more necessary;
12:23 [hgb]  身 上 肢 体 ， 我 们 看 为 不 体 面 的 ， 越 发 给 它 加 上 体 面 。 不 俊 美 的 ， 越 发 得 着 俊 美 。 
    [kjv]  And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable⁶, upon these we bestow⁷ more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness⁹.
    [bbe]  And to those parts of the body which seem to have less honour we give all the more honour; and to those parts of the body which are a cause of shame to us we give the greater respect;
12:24 [hgb]  我 们 俊 美 的 肢 体 ， 自 然 用 不 着 装 饰 。 但 神 配 搭 这 身 子 ， 把 加 倍 的 体 面 给 那 有 缺 欠 的 肢 体 。 
    [kjv]  For our comely⁸ parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
    [bbe]  But those parts of the body which are beautiful have no need of such care: and so the body has been joined together by God in such a way as to give more honour to those parts which had need of it;
12:25 [hgb]  免 得 身 上 分 门 别 类 。 总 要 肢 体 彼 此 相 顾 。 
    [kjv]  That there should be no schism¹⁰ in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
    [bbe]  So that there might be no division in the body; but all the parts might have the same care for one another.
12:26 [hgb]  若 一 个 肢 体 受 苦 ， 所 有 的 肢 体 就 一 同 受 苦 。 若 一 个 肢 体 得 荣 耀 ， 所 有 的 肢 体 就 一 同 快 乐 。 
    [kjv]  And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
    [bbe]  And if there is pain in one part of the body, all the parts will be feeling it; or if one part is honoured, all the parts will be glad.
12:27 [hgb]  你 们 就 是 基 督 的 身 子 ， 并 且 各 自 作 肢 体 。 
    [kjv]  Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
    [bbe]  Now you are the body of Christ, and every one of you the separate parts of it.
12:28 [hgb]  神 在 教 会 所 设 立 的 ， 第 一 是 使 徒 。 第 二 是 先 知 ， 第 三 是 教 师 。 其 次 是 行 异 能 的 。 再 次 是 得 恩 赐 医 病 的 。 帮 助 人 的 。 治 理 事 的 。 说 方 言 的 。 
    [kjv]  And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
    [bbe]  And God has put some in the church, first, Apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; then those with wonder-working powers, then those with the power of taking away disease, helpers, wise guides, users of strange tongues.
12:29 [hgb]  岂 都 是 使 徒 吗 ？ 岂 都 是 先 知 吗 ？ 岂 都 是 教 师 吗 ？ 岂 都 是 行 异 能 的 吗 ？ 
    [kjv]  Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
    [bbe]  Are all Apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? have all the power of working wonders?
12:30 [hgb]  岂 都 是 得 恩 赐 医 病 的 吗 ？ 岂 都 是 说 方 言 的 吗 ？ 岂 都 是 翻 方 言 的 吗 ？ 
    [kjv]  Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
    [bbe]  Are all able to take away disease? have all the power of tongues? are all able to give their sense?
12:31 [hgb]  你 们 要 切 切 地 求 那 更 大 的 恩 赐 ， 我 现 今 把 最 妙 的 道 指 示 你 们 。 
    [kjv]  But covet¹¹ earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
    [bbe]  But let your desires be turned to the more important things given by the Spirit. And now I am pointing out to you an even better way.

1 idols   

偶像( idol的名词复数 )； 受崇拜的人或物； 受到热爱和崇拜的人或物； 神像
