[kjv] And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and the captains over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards1 over all the substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, with the officers, and with the mighty2 men, and with all the valiant3 men, unto Jerusalem.
[bbe] And David got together at Jerusalem all the rulers of Israel, the chiefs of the tribes and the captains of the divisions waiting on the king in turn, and the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds and the controllers of all the goods and property of the king and his sons, with the unsexed servants and the great men of war.
28:2 [hgb] 大 卫 王 就 站 起 来 ， 说 ， 我 的 弟 兄 ， 我 的 百 姓 阿 ， 你 们 当 听 我 言 ， 我 心 里 本 想 建 造 殿 宇 ， 安 放 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 ， 作 为 我 神 的 脚 凳 。 我 已 经 预 备 建 造 的 材 料 。
[kjv] Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant4 of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:
[bbe] Then David the king got up and said, Give ear to me, my brothers and my people; it was my desire to put up a house, a resting-place for the ark of the Lord's agreement, and for the foot-rest of our God; and I had got material ready for the building of it.
28:3 [hgb] 只 是 神 对 我 说 ， 你 不 可 为 我 的 名 建 造 殿 宇 。 因 你 是 战 士 ， 流 了 人 的 血 。
[kjv] But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood.
[bbe] But God said to me, You are not to be the builder of a house for my name, because you are a man of war and have taken life;
28:4 [hgb] 然 而 ， 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 在 我 父 的 全 家 拣 选 我 作 以 色 列 的 王 ， 直 到 永 远 。 因 他 拣 选 犹 大 为 首 领 。 在 犹 大 支 派 中 拣 选 我 父 家 ， 在 我 父 的 众 子 里 喜 悦 我 ， 立 我 作 以 色 列 众 人 的 王 。
[kjv] Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:
[bbe] Though the Lord, the God of Israel, took me out of all my father's family, to be king over Israel for ever, marking out Judah to be chief, and, of the people of Judah, my father's family; and among the sons of my father he was pleased to make me king over all Israel;
28:5 [hgb] 耶 和 华 赐 我 许 多 儿 子 ， 在 我 儿 子 中 拣 选 所 罗 门 坐 耶 和 华 的 国 位 ， 治 理 以 色 列 人 。
[kjv] And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.
[bbe] And of all my sons (for the Lord has given me a great number of sons) he has made selection of Solomon to take his place on the seat of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.
28:6 [hgb] 耶 和 华 对 我 说 ， 你 儿 子 所 罗 门 必 建 造 我 的 殿 和 院 宇 。 因 为 我 拣 选 他 作 我 的 子 ， 我 也 必 作 他 的 父 。
[kjv] And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
[bbe] And he said to me, Solomon your son will be the builder of my house and the open spaces round it; for I have taken him to be my son, and I will be his father.
28:7 [hgb] 他 若 恒 久 遵 行 我 的 诫 命 典 章 如 今 日 一 样 ， 我 就 必 坚 定 他 的 国 位 ， 直 到 永 远 。
[kjv] Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments5, as at this day.
[bbe] I will keep his kingdom in its place for ever, if he is strong at all times to do my orders and keep my rules, as at this day.
28:8 [hgb] 现 今 在 耶 和 华 的 会 中 ， 以 色 列 众 人 眼 前 所 说 的 ， 我 们 的 神 也 听 见 了 。 你 们 应 当 寻 求 耶 和 华 你 们 神 的 一 切 诫 命 ， 谨 守 遵 行 ， 如 此 你 们 可 以 承 受 这 美 地 ， 遗 留 给 你 们 的 子 孙 ， 永 远 为 业 。
[kjv] Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.
[bbe] So now, before the eyes of all Israel, the people of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, keep and be true to the orders of the Lord your God; so that you may have this good land for yourselves and give it for a heritage to your children after you for ever.
28:9 [hgb] 我 儿 所 罗 门 哪 ， 你 当 认 识 耶 和 华 你 父 的 神 ， 诚 心 乐 意 地 事 奉 他 。 因 为 他 鉴 察 众 人 的 心 ， 知 道 一 切 心 思 意 念 。 你 若 寻 求 他 ， 他 必 使 你 寻 见 。 你 若 离 弃 他 ， 他 必 永 远 丢 弃 你 。
[kjv] And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake6 him, he will cast thee off for ever.
[bbe] And you, Solomon my son, get knowledge of the God of your father, and be his servant with a true heart and with a strong desire, for the Lord is the searcher of all hearts, and has knowledge of all the designs of men's thoughts; if you make search for him, he will be near you; but if you are turned away from him, he will give you up for ever.
28:10 [hgb] 你 当 谨 慎 ， 因 耶 和 华 拣 选 你 建 造 殿 宇 作 为 圣 所 。 你 当 刚 强 去 行 。
[kjv] Take heed7 now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary8: be strong, and do it.
[bbe] Now then, take note; for the Lord has made selection of you to be the builder of a house for the holy place. Be strong and do it.
28:11 [hgb] 大 卫 将 殿 的 游 廊 ， 旁 屋 ， 府 库 ， 楼 房 ， 内 殿 ， 和 施 恩 所 的 样 式 指 示 他 儿 子 所 罗 门 ，
[kjv] Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries9 thereof, and of the upper chambers10 thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,
[bbe] Then David gave to his son Solomon the design of the doorway11 of the house of God and of its houses and its store-houses, and the higher rooms and the inner rooms and the place for the mercy-seat;
28:12 [hgb] 又 将 被 灵 感 动 所 得 的 样 式 ， 就 是 耶 和 华 神 殿 的 院 子 ， 周 围 的 房 屋 ， 殿 的 府 库 ， 和 圣 物 府 库 的 一 切 样 式 都 指 示 他 。
[kjv] And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated12 things:
[bbe] And the design of all he had in his heart for the outer squares of the house of the Lord, and for the rooms all round it, and for the store-houses of the house of the Lord, and for the store-houses for the holy things;
28:13 [hgb] 又 指 示 他 祭 司 和 利 未 人 的 班 次 与 耶 和 华 殿 里 各 样 的 工 作 ， 并 耶 和 华 殿 里 一 切 器 皿 的 样 式 ，
[kjv] Also for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels13 of service in the house of the LORD.
[bbe] And for the divisions of the priests and Levites, and for all the work in connection with the worship of the house of the Lord, and all the vessels used in the house of the Lord;
28:14 [hgb] 以 及 各 样 应 用 金 器 的 分 两 和 各 样 应 用 银 器 的 分 两 ，
[kjv] He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all instruments of all manner of service; silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every kind of service:
[bbe] Of gold, by weight, for the vessels of gold, for all the vessels of different uses; and silver for all the vessels of silver by weight, for vessels of different uses;
28:15 [hgb] 金 灯 台 和 金 灯 的 分 两 ， 银 灯 台 和 银 灯 的 分 两 ， 轻 重 各 都 合 宜 。
[kjv] Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick.
[bbe] And gold by weight for the light-supports and the vessels for the lights, the weight of gold needed for every support and every vessel14 for lights; and for the silver light-supports, the weight of silver needed for every support and for the different vessels as every one was to be used;
28:16 [hgb] 陈 设 饼 金 桌 子 的 分 两 ， 银 桌 子 的 分 两 ，
[kjv] And by weight he gave gold for the tables of shewbread, for every table; and likewise silver for the tables of silver:
[bbe] And gold by weight for the tables for the holy bread for every table, and silver for the silver tables;
28:17 [hgb] 精 金 的 肉 叉 子 ， 盘 子 ， 和 爵 的 分 两 ， 各 金 碗 与 各 银 碗 的 分 两 ，
[kjv] Also pure gold for the fleshhooks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for the golden basons he gave gold by weight for every bason; and likewise silver by weight for every bason of silver:
[bbe] Clear gold for the meat-hooks and the basins and the cups; for the gold basins, gold enough by weight for every basin; and silver by weight for every silver basin;
28:18 [hgb] 精 金 香 坛 的 分 两 ， 并 用 金 子 作 基 路 伯 （ 原 文 作 用 金 子 作 车 式 的 基 路 伯 ） 。 基 路 伯 张 开 翅 膀 ， 遮 掩 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 。
[kjv] And for the altar of incense15 refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
[bbe] And the best gold for the altar of perfumes; and gold for the design of the carriage, for the winged ones whose wings were outstretched covering the ark of the Lord's agreement.
28:19 [hgb] 大 卫 说 ， 这 一 切 工 作 的 样 式 都 是 耶 和 华 用 手 划 出 来 使 我 明 白 的 。
[kjv] All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.
[bbe] All this, said David, the design for all these things, has been made dear to me in writing by the hand of the Lord.
28:20 [hgb] 大 卫 又 对 他 儿 子 所 罗 门 说 ， 你 当 刚 强 壮 胆 去 行 。 不 要 惧 怕 ， 也 不 要 惊 惶 。 因 为 耶 和 华 神 就 是 我 的 神 ， 与 你 同 在 。 他 必 不 撇 下 你 ， 也 不 丢 弃 你 ， 直 到 耶 和 华 殿 的 工 作 都 完 毕 了 。
[kjv] And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
[bbe] And David said to his son Solomon, Be strong and of a good heart and do your work; have no fear and do not be troubled, for the Lord God, my God, is with you; he will not give you up, and his face will not be turned away from you, till all the work necessary for the house of the Lord is complete.
28:21 [hgb] 有 祭 司 和 利 未 人 的 各 班 ， 为 要 办 理 神 殿 各 样 的 事 ， 又 有 灵 巧 的 人 在 各 样 的 工 作 上 乐 意 帮 助 你 。 并 有 众 首 领 和 众 民 一 心 听 从 你 的 命 令 。
[kjv] And, behold16, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful17 man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment.
[bbe] And see, there are the divisions of the priests and Levites for all the work of the house of God; and every trained and expert workman will be ready to do for you whatever is needed; and the captains and the people will be under your orders in everything.
