[bbe] Then they took in the ark of God and put it inside the tent which David had put up for it; and they made offerings, burned offerings and peace-offerings before God.
16:2 [hgb] 大 卫 献 完 了 燔 祭 和 平 安 祭 ， 就 奉 耶 和 华 的 名 给 民 祝 福 ，
[kjv] And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
[bbe] And when David had come to an end of making the burned offerings and peace-offerings, he gave the people a blessing1 in the name of the Lord.
16:3 [hgb] 并 且 分 给 以 色 列 人 ， 无 论 男 女 ， 每 人 一 个 饼 ， 一 块 肉 ， 一 个 葡 萄 饼 。
[kjv] And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
[bbe] And he gave to everyone, every man and woman of Israel, a cake of bread, some meat, and a cake of dry grapes.
16:4 [hgb] 大 卫 派 几 个 利 未 人 在 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 前 事 奉 ， 颂 扬 ， 称 谢 ， 赞 美 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 ，
[kjv] And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:
[bbe] And he put some of the Levites before the ark of the Lord as servants, to keep the acts of the Lord in memory, and to give worship and praise to the Lord, the God of Israel:
16:5 [hgb] 为 首 的 是 亚 萨 ， 其 次 是 撒 迦 利 雅 ， 雅 薛 ， 示 米 拉 末 ， 耶 歇 ， 玛 他 提 雅 ， 以 利 押 ， 比 拿 雅 ， 俄 别 以 东 ， 耶 利 ， 鼓 瑟 弹 琴 。 惟 有 亚 萨 敲 钹 ， 大 发 响 声 。
[kjv] Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps2; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals3;
[bbe] Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Uzziel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel and Mattithiah and Eliab and Benaiah and Obed-edom and Jeiel, with corded instruments of music; and Asaph, with brass4 instruments sounding loudly;
16:6 [hgb] 祭 司 比 拿 雅 和 雅 哈 悉 常 在 神 的 约 柜 前 吹 号 。
[kjv] Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets5 continually before the ark of the covenant6 of God.
[bbe] And Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests, blowing horns all the time before the ark of the agreement of God.
16:7 [hgb] 那 日 ， 大 卫 初 次 借 亚 萨 和 他 的 弟 兄 以 诗 歌 称 颂 耶 和 华 ， 说 ，
[kjv] Then on that day David delivered first this psalm7 to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
[bbe] Then on that day David first made the giving of praise to the Lord the work of Asaph and his brothers.
16:8 [hgb] 你 们 要 称 谢 耶 和 华 ， 求 告 他 的 名 ， 在 万 民 中 传 扬 他 的 作 为 。
[kjv] Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
[bbe] O give praise to the Lord; give honour to his name, talking of his doings among the peoples.
16:9 [hgb] 要 向 他 唱 诗 ， 歌 颂 ， 谈 论 他 一 切 奇 妙 的 作 为 。
[kjv] Sing unto him, sing psalms8 unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous9 works.
[bbe] Let your voice be sounded in songs and melody; let all your thoughts be of the wonder of his works.

[kjv] Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

[kjv] Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
[bbe] Let your search be for the Lord and for his strength; let your hearts ever be turned to him.

[kjv] Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
[bbe] He has kept his agreement in mind for ever, the word which he gave for a thousand generations;
16:16 [hgb] 就 是 与 亚 伯 拉 罕 所 立 的 约 ， 向 以 撒 所 起 的 誓 。
[kjv] Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
[bbe] The agreement which he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac;
16:17 [hgb] 他 又 将 这 约 向 雅 各 定 为 律 例 ， 向 以 色 列 定 为 永 远 的 约 ，
[kjv] And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting11 covenant,

16:18 [hgb] 说 ， 我 必 将 迦 南 地 赐 给 你 ， 作 你 产 业 的 分 。
[kjv] Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
[bbe] Saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, the measured line of your heritage:
16:19 [hgb] 当 时 你 们 人 丁 有 限 ， 数 目 稀 少 ， 并 且 在 那 地 为 寄 居 的 。
[kjv] When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
[bbe] When you were still small in number, and strange in the land;
16:20 [hgb] 他 们 从 这 邦 游 到 那 邦 ， 从 这 国 行 到 那 国 。
[kjv] And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
[bbe] When they went about from one nation to another, and from one kingdom to another people;
16:21 [hgb] 耶 和 华 不 容 什 么 人 欺 负 他 们 ， 为 他 们 的 缘 故 责 备 君 王 ，
[kjv] He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

[kjv] Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth12 from day to day his salvation13.
[bbe] Make songs to the Lord, all the earth; give the good news of his salvation day by day.
16:24 [hgb] 在 列 邦 中 述 说 他 的 荣 耀 ， 在 万 民 中 述 说 他 的 奇 事 。
[kjv] Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
[bbe] Make clear his glory to the nations, and his wonders to all the peoples.

[kjv] Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.

16:34 [hgb] 应 当 称 谢 耶 和 华 。 因 他 本 为 善 ， 他 的 慈 爱 永 远 长 存 。
[kjv] O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
[bbe] O give praise to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.
16:35 [hgb] 要 说 ， 拯 救 我 们 的 神 阿 ， 求 你 救 我 们 ， 聚 集 我 们 ， 使 我 们 脱 离 外 邦 ， 我 们 好 称 赞 你 的 圣 名 ， 以 赞 美 你 为 夸 胜 。
[kjv] And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
[bbe] And say, Be our saviour15, O God of our salvation, and let us come back, and give us salvation from the nations, so that we may give honour to your holy name and have glory in your praise.
16:36 [hgb] 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 ， 从 亘 古 直 到 永 远 ， 是 应 当 称 颂 的 。 众 民 都 说 ， 阿 们 。 并 且 赞 美 耶 和 华 。
[kjv] Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.
[bbe] Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, for ever and for ever. And all the people said, So be it; and gave praise to the Lord.
16:37 [hgb] 大 卫 派 亚 萨 和 他 的 弟 兄 在 约 柜 前 常 常 事 奉 耶 和 华 ， 一 日 尽 一 日 的 职 分 。
[kjv] So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:
[bbe] So he made Asaph and his brothers keep their places there before the ark of the agreement of the Lord, to do whatever had to be done before the ark at all times day by day:
