3:1 [hgb]  所 罗 门 就 在 耶 路 撒 冷 , 耶 和 华 向 他 父 大 卫 显 现 的 摩 利 亚 山 上 , 就 是 耶 布 斯 人 阿 珥 楠 的 禾 场 上 , 大 卫 所 指 定 的 地 方 预 备 好 了 , 开 工 建 造 耶 和 华 的 殿 。 
    [kjv]  Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
    [bbe]  Then Solomon made a start at building the house of the Lord on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem, where the Lord had been seen by his father David, in the place which David had made ready in the grain-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
3:2 [hgb]  所 罗 门 作 王 第 四 年 二 月 初 二 日 开 工 建 造 。 
    [kjv]  And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign1.
    [bbe]  The building was started in the second month in the fourth year of his rule.
3:3 [hgb]  所 罗 门 建 筑 神 殿 的 根 基 , 乃 是 这 样 , 长 六 十 肘 , 宽 二 十 肘 , 都 按 着 古 时 的 尺 寸 。 
    [kjv]  Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
    [bbe]  And Solomon put the base of the house of God in position; by the older measure it was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide.
3:4 [hgb]  殿 前 的 廊 子 长 二 十 肘 , 与 殿 的 宽 窄 一 样 , 高 一 百 二 十 肘 。 里 面 贴 上 精 金 。 
    [kjv]  And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
    [bbe]  And the covered way in front of the house was twenty cubits long, as wide as the house, and a hundred and twenty cubits high, all plated inside with the best gold.
3:5 [hgb]  大 殿 的 墙 都 用 松 木 板 遮 蔽 , 又 贴 了 精 金 , 上 面 雕 刻 棕 树 和 链 子 。 
    [kjv]  And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
    [bbe]  And the greater house was roofed with cypress-wood, plated with the best gold and ornamented2 with designs of palm-trees and chains.
3:6 [hgb]  又 用 宝 石 装 饰 殿 墙 , 使 殿 华 美 。 所 用 的 金 子 都 是 巴 瓦 音 的 金 子 。 
    [kjv]  And he garnished3 the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
    [bbe]  And the house was made beautiful with stones of great value, and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
3:7 [hgb]  又 用 金 子 贴 殿 和 殿 的 栋 梁 , 门 槛 , 墙 壁 , 门 扇 。 墙 上 雕 刻 基 路 伯 。 
    [kjv]  He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
    [bbe]  All the house was plated with gold, the supports, the steps, the walls and the doors; and the walls were ornamented with designs of winged ones.
3:8 [hgb]  又 建 造 至 圣 所 , 长 二 十 肘 , 与 殿 的 宽 窄 一 样 , 宽 也 是 二 十 肘 。 贴 上 精 金 , 共 用 金 子 六 百 他 连 得 。 
    [kjv]  And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
    [bbe]  And he made the most holy place; it was twenty cubits long, and twenty cubits wide, like the greater house, and was plated all over with the best gold; six hundred talents were used for it.
3:9 [hgb]  金 钉 重 五 十 舍 客 勒 。 楼 房 都 贴 上 金 子 。 
    [kjv]  And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers5 with gold.
    [bbe]  And fifty shekels weight of gold was used for the nails. He had all the higher rooms plated with gold.
3:10 [hgb]  在 至 圣 所 按 造 像 的 法 子 造 两 个 基 路 伯 , 用 金 子 包 裹 。 
    [kjv]  And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
    [bbe]  And in the most holy place he made images of two winged beings, covering them with gold.
3:11 [hgb]  两 个 基 路 伯 的 翅 膀 共 长 二 十 肘 。 这 基 路 伯 的 一 个 翅 膀 长 五 肘 , 挨 着 殿 这 边 的 墙 。 那 一 个 翅 膀 也 长 五 肘 , 与 那 基 路 伯 翅 膀 相 接 。 
    [kjv]  And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub4 was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
    [bbe]  Their outstretched wings were twenty cubits across; one wing, five cubits long, touching6 the wall of the house, and the other, of the same size, meeting the wing of the other winged one.
3:12 [hgb]  那 基 路 伯 的 一 个 翅 膀 长 五 肘 , 挨 着 殿 那 边 的 墙 。 那 一 个 翅 膀 也 长 五 肘 , 与 这 基 路 伯 的 翅 膀 相 接 。 
    [kjv]  And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
    [bbe]  And in the same way, the wings of the other, five cubits long, were stretched out, one touching the wall and the other meeting the wing of the first winged one.
3:13 [hgb]  两 个 基 路 伯 张 开 翅 膀 , 共 长 二 十 肘 , 面 向 外 殿 而 立 。 
    [kjv]  The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth7 twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
    [bbe]  Their outstretched wings were twenty cubits across; they were placed upright on their feet, facing the inner part of the house.
3:14 [hgb]  又 用 蓝 色 , 紫 色 , 朱 红 色 线 和 细 麻 织 幔 子 , 在 其 上 绣 出 基 路 伯 来 。 
    [kjv]  And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson8, and fine linen9, and wrought10 cherubims thereon.
    [bbe]  And he made the veil of blue and purple and red, of the best linen, worked with winged ones.
3:15 [hgb]  在 殿 前 造 了 两 根 柱 子 , 高 三 十 五 肘 。 每 柱 顶 高 五 肘 。 
    [kjv]  Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
    [bbe]  And in front of the house he made two pillars, thirty-five cubits high, with crowns on the tops of them, five cubits high.
3:16 [hgb]  又 照 圣 所 内 链 子 的 样 式 作 链 子 , 安 在 柱 顶 上 。 又 作 一 百 石 榴 , 安 在 链 子 上 。 
    [kjv]  And he made chains, as in the oracle11, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
    [bbe]  And he made chains, like neck ornaments12, and put them on the tops of the pillars, and a hundred apples on the chains.
3:17 [hgb]  将 两 根 柱 子 立 在 殿 前 , 一 根 在 右 边 , 一 根 在 左 边 。 右 边 的 起 名 叫 雅 斤 , 左 边 的 起 名 叫 波 阿 斯 。 
    [kjv]  And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
    [bbe]  He put up the pillars in front of the Temple, one on the right side and one on the left, naming the one on the right Jachin and that on the left Boaz.
