Chapter 24

24:1 [hgb]  耶 和 华 晓 谕 摩 西 说 ， 
    [kjv]  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
    [bbe]  And the Lord said to Moses,
24:2 [hgb]  要 吩 咐 以 色 列 人 ， 把 那 为 点 灯 捣 成 的 清 橄 榄 油 拿 来 给 你 ， 使 灯 常 常 点 着 。 
    [kjv]  Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
    [bbe]  Give orders to the children of Israel to give you clean olive oil for the light, so that a light may be burning at all times,
24:3 [hgb]  在 会 幕 中 法 柜 的 幔 子 外 ， 亚 伦 从 晚 上 到 早 晨 必 在 耶 和 华 面 前 经 理 这 灯 。 这 要 作 你 们 世 世 代 代 永 远 的 定 例 。 
    [kjv]  Without the vail of the testimony¹, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute² for ever in your generations.
    [bbe]  Outside the veil of the ark in the Tent of meeting; let Aaron see that it is burning from evening till morning at all times before the Lord: it is a rule for ever through all your generations.
24:4 [hgb]  他 要 在 耶 和 华 面 前 常 收 拾 精 金 灯 台 上 的 灯 。 
    [kjv]  He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.
    [bbe]  Let Aaron put the lights in order on the support before the Lord at all times.
24:5 [hgb]  你 要 取 细 面 ， 烤 成 十 二 个 饼 ， 每 饼 用 面 伊 法 十 分 之 二 。 
    [kjv]  And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.
    [bbe]  And take the best meal and make twelve cakes of it, a fifth part of an ephah in every cake.
24:6 [hgb]  要 把 饼 摆 列 两 行 （ 行 或 作 摞 下 同 ） ， 每 行 六 个 ， 在 耶 和 华 面 前 精 金 的 桌 子 上 。 
    [kjv]  And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD.
    [bbe]  And put them in two lines, six in a line, on the holy table before the Lord.
24:7 [hgb]  又 要 把 净 乳 香 放 在 每 行 饼 上 ， 作 为 纪 念 ， 就 是 作 为 火 祭 献 给 耶 和 华 。 
    [kjv]  And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
    [bbe]  And on the lines of cakes put clean sweet-smelling spices, for a sign on the bread, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
24:8 [hgb]  每 安 息 日 要 常 摆 在 耶 和 华 面 前 ， 这 为 以 色 列 人 作 永 远 的 约 。 
    [kjv]  Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting³ covenant⁴.
    [bbe]  Every Sabbath day regularly, the priest is to put it in order before the Lord: it is offered for the children of Israel, an agreement made for ever.
24:9 [hgb]  这 饼 是 要 给 亚 伦 和 他 子 孙 的 ， 他 们 要 在 圣 处 吃 ， 为 永 远 的 定 例 ， 因 为 在 献 给 耶 和 华 的 火 祭 中 是 至 圣 的 。 
    [kjv]  And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.
    [bbe]  And it will be for Aaron and his sons; they are to take it for food in a holy place: it is the most holy of all the offerings made by fire to the Lord, a rule for ever.
24:10 [hgb]  有 一 个 以 色 列 妇 人 的 儿 子 ， 他 父 亲 是 埃 及 人 ， 一 日 闲 游 在 以 色 列 人 中 。 这 以 色 列 妇 人 的 儿 子 和 一 个 以 色 列 人 在 营 里 争 斗 。 
    [kjv]  And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;
    [bbe]  And a son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel and had a fight with a man of Israel by the tents;
24:11 [hgb]  这 以 色 列 妇 人 的 儿 子 亵 渎 了 圣 名 ， 并 且 咒 诅 ， 就 有 人 把 他 送 到 摩 西 那 里 。 （ 他 母 亲 名 叫 示 罗 密 ， 是 但 支 派 底 伯 利 的 女 儿 ） 。 
    [kjv]  And the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the Lord, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)
    [bbe]  And the son of the Israelite woman said evil against the holy Name, with curses; and they took him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
24:12 [hgb]  他 们 把 那 人 收 在 监 里 ， 要 得 耶 和 华 所 指 示 的 话 。 
    [kjv]  And they put him in ward⁵, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.
    [bbe]  And they kept him shut up, till a decision might be given by the mouth of the Lord.
24:13 [hgb]  耶 和 华 晓 谕 摩 西 说 ， 
    [kjv]  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
    [bbe]  And the Lord said to Moses,
24:14 [hgb]  把 那 咒 诅 圣 名 的 人 带 到 营 外 。 叫 听 见 的 人 都 放 手 在 他 头 上 ， 全 会 众 就 要 用 石 头 打 死 他 。 
    [kjv]  Bring forth⁶ him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
    [bbe]  Take the curser outside the tent-circle; and let all in whose hearing the words were said put their hands on his head, and let him be stoned by all the people.
24:15 [hgb]  你 要 晓 谕 以 色 列 人 说 ， 凡 咒 诅 神 的 ， 必 担 当 他 的 罪 。 
    [kjv]  And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
    [bbe]  And say to the children of Israel, As for any man cursing God, his sin will be on his head.
24:16 [hgb]  那 亵 渎 耶 和 华 名 的 ， 必 被 治 死 ， 全 会 众 总 要 用 石 头 打 死 他 。 不 管 是 寄 居 的 是 本 地 人 ， 他 亵 渎 耶 和 华 名 的 时 候 ， 必 被 治 死 。 
    [kjv]  And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.
    [bbe]  And he who says evil against the name of the Lord will certainly be put to death; he will be stoned by all the people; the man who is not of your nation and one who is an Israelite by birth, whoever says evil against the holy Name is to be put to death.
24:17 [hgb]  打 死 人 的 ， 必 被 治 死 。 
    [kjv]  And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.
    [bbe]  And anyone who takes another's life is certainly to be put to death.
24:18 [hgb]  打 死 牲 畜 的 ， 必 赔 上 牲 畜 ， 以 命 偿 命 。 
    [kjv]  And he that killeth a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.
    [bbe]  And anyone wounding a beast and causing its death, will have to make payment for it: a life for a life.
24:19 [hgb]  人 若 使 他 邻 舍 的 身 体 有 残 疾 ， 他 怎 样 行 ， 也 要 照 样 向 他 行 ， 
    [kjv]  And if a man cause a blemish⁷ in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;
    [bbe]  And if a man does damage to his neighbour, as he has done, so let it be done to him;
24:20 [hgb]  以 伤 还 伤 ， 以 眼 还 眼 ， 以 牙 还 牙 。 他 怎 样 叫 人 的 身 体 有 残 疾 ， 也 要 照 样 向 他 行 。 
    [kjv]  Breach⁸ for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.
    [bbe]  Wound for wound, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; whatever damage he has done, so let it be done to him.
24:21 [hgb]  打 死 牲 畜 的 ， 必 赔 上 牲 畜 ， 打 死 人 的 ， 必 被 治 死 。 
    [kjv]  And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
    [bbe]  He who puts a beast to death will have to make payment for it; he who puts a man to death will himself be put to death.
24:22 [hgb]  不 管 是 寄 居 的 是 本 地 人 ， 同 归 一 例 。 我 是 耶 和 华 你 们 的 神 。 
    [kjv]  Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.
    [bbe]  You are to have the same law for a man of another nation living among you as for an Israelite; for I am the Lord your God.
24:23 [hgb]  于 是 ， 摩 西 晓 谕 以 色 列 人 ， 他 们 就 把 那 咒 诅 圣 名 的 人 带 到 营 外 ， 用 石 头 打 死 。 以 色 列 人 就 照 耶 和 华 所 吩 咐 摩 西 的 行 了 。 
    [kjv]  And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
    [bbe]  And Moses said these words to the children of Israel, and they took the man who had been cursing outside the tent-circle and had him stoned. The children of Israel did as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
