Chapter 16

16:1 [hgb]  约 瑟 的 子 孙 拈 阄 所 得 之 地 是 从 靠 近 耶 利 哥 的 约 旦 河 起 ， 以 耶 利 哥 东 边 的 水 为 界 ， 从 耶 利 哥 上 去 ， 通 过 山 地 的 旷 野 ， 到 伯 特 利 。 
    [kjv]  And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness¹ that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel,
    [bbe]  And the limit of the land marked out for the children of Joseph went out from Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, in the waste land, going up from Jericho through the hill-country to Beth-el;
16:2 [hgb]  又 从 伯 特 利 到 路 斯 ， 接 连 到 亚 基 人 的 境 界 ， 至 亚 他 绿 。 
    [kjv]  And goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,
    [bbe]  And it goes out from Beth-el to Luz, and on as far as the limit of the Archites to Ataroth;
16:3 [hgb]  又 往 西 下 到 押 利 提 人 的 境 界 ， 到 下 伯 和 仑 的 境 界 ， 直 到 基 色 ， 通 到 海 为 止 。 
    [kjv]  And goeth down westward² to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Bethhoron the nether³, and to Gezer; and the goings out thereof are at the sea.
    [bbe]  And it goes down to the west to the limit of the Japhletites, to the limit of Beth-horon the lower, as far as Gezer; ending at the sea.
16:4 [hgb]  约 瑟 的 儿 子 玛 拿 西 ， 以 法 莲 就 得 了 他 们 的 地 业 。 
    [kjv]  So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
    [bbe]  And the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their heritage.
16:5 [hgb]  以 法 莲 子 孙 的 境 界 ， 按 着 宗 族 所 得 的 ， 记 在 下 面 ， 他 们 地 业 的 东 界 是 亚 他 绿 亚 达 到 上 伯 和 仑 。 
    [kjv]  And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper;
    [bbe]  And the limit of the land of the children of Ephraim by their families was marked out in this way: the limit of their heritage to the east was Ataroth-addar, to Beth-horon the higher;
16:6 [hgb]  往 西 通 到 北 边 的 密 米 他 ， 又 向 东 绕 到 他 纳 示 罗 ， 又 接 连 到 雅 挪 哈 的 东 边 。 
    [kjv]  And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward⁴ unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;
    [bbe]  The line goes out to the west at Michmethath on the north; then turning to the east to Taanath-shiloh, going past it on the east of Janoah;
16:7 [hgb]  从 雅 挪 哈 下 到 亚 他 绿 ， 又 到 拿 拉 ， 达 到 耶 利 哥 ， 通 到 约 旦 河 为 止 。 
    [kjv]  And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.
    [bbe]  And from Janoah down to Ataroth, and to Naarah, and touching⁵ Jericho, it goes on to Jordan.
16:8 [hgb]  从 他 普 亚 往 西 ， 到 加 拿 河 ， 直 通 到 海 为 止 。 这 就 是 以 法 莲 支 派 按 着 宗 族 所 得 的 地 业 。 
    [kjv]  The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.
    [bbe]  From Tappuah the line goes on to the west to the river of Kanah; ending at the sea. This is the heritage of the children of Ephraim by their families;
16:9 [hgb]  另 外 在 玛 拿 西 人 地 业 中 得 了 些 城 邑 和 属 城 的 村 庄 。 这 都 是 分 给 以 法 莲 子 孙 的 。 
    [kjv]  And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
    [bbe]  Together with the towns marked out for the children of Ephraim in the heritage of Manasseh, all the towns with their unwalled places.
16:10 [hgb]  他 们 没 有 赶 出 住 基 色 的 迦 南 人 。 迦 南 人 却 住 在 以 法 莲 人 中 间 ， 成 为 作 苦 工 的 仆 人 ， 直 到 今 日 。 
    [kjv]  And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.
    [bbe]  And the Canaanites who were living in Gezer were not forced out; but the Canaanites have been living among Ephraim, to this day, as servants, doing forced work.

1 wilderness   

n.杳无人烟的一片陆地、水等，荒漠
