[kjv]  That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
[bbe]  So that living in the fear of the Lord your God, you may keep all his laws and his orders, which I give you: you and your son and your son's son, all the days of your life; and so that your life may be long.

[kjv]  Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily3, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
[bbe]  So give ear, O Israel, and take care to do this; so that it may be well for you, and you may be greatly increased, as the Lord the God of your fathers has given you his word, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
