Chapter 5

4:1 [hgb]  以 笏 死 后 ， 以 色 列 人 又 行 耶 和 华 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 ， 
    [kjv]  And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.
    [bbe]  And the children of Israel again did evil in the eyes of the Lord when Ehud was dead.
4:2 [hgb]  耶 和 华 就 把 他 们 付 与 在 夏 琐 作 王 的 迦 南 王 耶 宾 手 中 。 他 的 将 军 是 西 西 拉 ， 住 在 外 邦 人 的 夏 罗 设 。 
    [kjv]  And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned¹ in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.
    [bbe]  And the Lord gave them up into the hands of Jabin, king of Canaan, who was ruling in Hazor; the captain of his army was Sisera, who was living in Harosheth of the Gentiles.
4:3 [hgb]  耶 宾 王 有 铁 车 九 百 辆 。 他 大 大 欺 压 以 色 列 人 二 十 年 ， 以 色 列 人 就 呼 求 耶 和 华 。 
    [kjv]  And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily² oppressed the children of Israel.
    [bbe]  Then the children of Israel made prayer to the Lord; for he had nine hundred iron war-carriages, and for twenty years he was very cruel to the children of Israel.
4:4 [hgb]  有 一 位 女 先 知 名 叫 底 波 拉 ， 是 拉 比 多 的 妻 ， 当 时 作 以 色 列 的 士 师 。 
    [kjv]  And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
    [bbe]  Now Deborah, a woman prophet, the wife of Lapidoth, was judge of Israel at that time.
4:5 [hgb]  她 住 在 以 法 莲 山 地 拉 玛 和 伯 特 利 中 间 ， 在 底 波 拉 的 棕 树 下 。 以 色 列 人 都 上 她 那 里 去 听 判 断 。 
    [kjv]  And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment³.
    [bbe]  (And she had her seat under the palm-tree of Deborah between Ramah and Beth-el in the hill-country of Ephraim; and the children of Israel came up to her to be judged.)
4:6 [hgb]  她 打 发 人 从 拿 弗 他 利 的 基 低 斯 将 亚 比 挪 庵 的 儿 子 巴 拉 召 了 来 ， 对 他 说 ， 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 吩 咐 你 说 ， 你 率 领 一 万 拿 弗 他 利 和 西 布 伦 人 上 他 泊 山 去 。 
    [kjv]  And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
    [bbe]  And she sent for Barak, the son of Abinoam, from Kedesh-naphtali, and said to him, Has not the Lord, the God of Israel, given orders saying, Go and get your force into line in Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
4:7 [hgb]  我 必 使 耶 宾 的 将 军 西 西 拉 率 领 他 的 车 辆 和 全 军 往 基 顺 河 ， 到 你 那 里 去 。 我 必 将 他 交 在 你 手 中 。 
    [kjv]  And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.
    [bbe]  And I will make Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his war-carriages and his forces, come against you at the river Kishon, where I will give him into your hands.
4:8 [hgb]  巴 拉 说 ， 你 若 同 我 去 ， 我 就 去 。 你 若 不 同 我 去 ， 我 就 不 去 。 
    [kjv]  And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt⁴ go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.
    [bbe]  And Barak said to her, If you will go with me then I will go; but if you will not go with me I will not go.
4:9 [hgb]  底 波 拉 说 ， 我 必 与 你 同 去 ， 只 是 你 在 所 行 的 路 上 得 不 着 荣 耀 ， 因 为 耶 和 华 要 将 西 西 拉 交 在 一 个 妇 人 手 里 。 于 是 底 波 拉 起 来 ， 与 巴 拉 一 同 往 基 低 斯 去 了 。 
    [kjv]  And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
    [bbe]  And she said, I will certainly go with you: though you will get no honour in your undertaking⁵, for the Lord will give Sisera into the hands of a woman. So Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh.
4:10 [hgb]  巴 拉 就 招 聚 西 布 伦 人 和 拿 弗 他 利 人 到 基 低 斯 ， 跟 他 上 去 的 有 一 万 人 。 底 波 拉 也 同 他 上 去 。 
    [kjv]  And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.
    [bbe]  Then Barak sent for Zebulun and Naphtali to come to Kedesh; and ten thousand men went up after him, and Deborah went up with him.
4:11 [hgb]  摩 西 岳 父 （ 或 作 内 兄 ） 何 巴 的 后 裔 ， 基 尼 人 希 百 曾 离 开 基 尼 族 ， 到 靠 近 基 低 斯 撒 拿 音 的 橡 树 旁 支 搭 帐 棚 。 
    [kjv]  Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed⁶ himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh.
    [bbe]  Now Heber the Kenite, separating himself from the rest of the Kenites, from the children of Hobab, the brother-in-law of Moses, had put up his tent as far away as the oak-tree in Zaanannim, by Kedesh.
4:12 [hgb]  有 人 告 诉 西 西 拉 说 ， 亚 比 挪 庵 的 儿 子 巴 拉 已 经 上 他 泊 山 了 。 
    [kjv]  And they shewed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.
    [bbe]  And word was given to Sisera that Barak, the son of Abinoam, had gone up to Mount Tabor.
4:13 [hgb]  西 西 拉 就 聚 集 所 有 的 铁 车 九 百 辆 和 跟 随 他 的 全 军 ， 从 外 邦 人 的 夏 罗 设 出 来 ， 到 了 基 顺 河 。 
    [kjv]  And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.
    [bbe]  So Sisera got together all his war-carriages, nine hundred war-carriages of iron, and all the people who were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles as far as the river Kishon.
4:14 [hgb]  底 波 拉 对 巴 拉 说 ， 你 起 来 ， 今 日 就 是 耶 和 华 将 西 西 拉 交 在 你 手 的 日 子 。 耶 和 华 岂 不 在 你 前 头 行 吗 ？ 于 是 巴 拉 下 了 他 泊 山 ， 跟 随 他 有 一 万 人 。 
    [kjv]  And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
    [bbe]  Then Deborah said to Barak, Up! for today the Lord has given Sisera into your hands: has not the Lord gone out before you? So Barak went down from Mount Tabor and ten thousand men after him.
4:15 [hgb]  耶 和 华 使 西 西 拉 和 他 一 切 车 辆 全 军 溃 乱 ， 在 巴 拉 面 前 被 刀 杀 败 。 西 西 拉 下 车 步 行 逃 跑 。 
    [kjv]  And the LORD discomfited⁷ Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet.
    [bbe]  And the Lord sent fear on Sisera and all his war-carriages and all his army before Barak; and Sisera got down from his war-carriage and went in flight on foot.
4:16 [hgb]  巴 拉 追 赶 车 辆 ， 军 队 ， 直 到 外 邦 人 的 夏 罗 设 。 西 西 拉 的 全 军 都 倒 在 刀 下 ， 没 有 留 下 一 人 。 
    [kjv]  But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; and there was not a man left.
    [bbe]  But Barak went after the war-carriages and the army as far as Harosheth of the Gentiles; and all Sisera's army was put to the sword; not a man got away.
4:17 [hgb]  只 有 西 西 拉 步 行 逃 跑 ， 到 了 基 尼 人 希 百 之 妻 雅 亿 的 帐 棚 ， 因 为 夏 琐 王 耶 宾 与 基 尼 人 希 百 家 和 好 。 
    [kjv]  Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
    [bbe]  But Sisera went in flight on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite; for there was peace between Jabin, king of Hazor, and the family of Heber the Kenite.
4:18 [hgb]  雅 亿 出 来 迎 接 西 西 拉 ， 对 他 说 ， 请 我 主 进 来 ， 不 要 惧 怕 。 西 西 拉 就 进 了 她 的 帐 棚 。 雅 亿 用 被 将 他 遮 盖 。 
    [kjv]  And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle⁸.
    [bbe]  And Jael went out to Sisera, and said to him, Come in, my lord, come in to me without fear. So he went into her tent, and she put a cover over him.
4:19 [hgb]  西 西 拉 对 雅 亿 说 ， 我 渴 了 ， 求 你 给 我 一 点 水 喝 。 雅 亿 就 打 开 皮 袋 ， 给 他 奶 子 喝 ， 仍 旧 把 他 遮 盖 。 
    [kjv]  And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.
    [bbe]  Then he said to her, Give me now a little water, for I have need of a drink. And opening a skin of milk, she gave him drink, and put the cover over him again.
4:20 [hgb]  西 西 拉 又 对 雅 亿 说 ， 请 你 站 在 帐 棚 门 口 ， 若 有 人 来 问 你 说 ， 有 人 在 这 里 没 有 。 你 就 说 ， 没 有 。 
    [kjv]  Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire⁹ of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.
    [bbe]  And he said to her, Take your place at the door of the tent, and if anyone comes and says to you, Is there any man here, say, No.
4:21 [hgb]  西 西 拉 疲 乏 沉 睡 。 希 百 的 妻 雅 亿 取 了 帐 棚 的 橛 子 ， 手 里 拿 着 锤 子 ， 轻 悄 悄 地 到 他 旁 边 ， 将 橛 子 从 他 鬓 边 钉 进 去 ， 钉 入 地 里 。 西 西 拉 就 死 了 。 
    [kjv]  Then Jael Heber's wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote¹⁰ the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.
    [bbe]  Then Jael, Heber's wife, took a tent-pin and a hammer and went up to him quietly, driving the pin into his head, and it went through his head into the earth, for he was in a deep sleep from weariness; and so he came to his end.
4:22 [hgb]  巴 拉 追 赶 西 西 拉 的 时 候 ， 雅 亿 出 来 迎 接 他 说 ， 来 吧 ， 我 将 你 所 寻 找 的 人 给 你 看 。 他 就 进 入 帐 棚 ， 看 见 西 西 拉 已 经 死 了 ， 倒 在 地 上 ， 橛 子 还 在 他 鬓 中 。 
    [kjv]  And, behold¹¹, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples.
    [bbe]  Then Jael went out, and meeting Barak going after Sisera, said to him, Come, and I will let you see the man you are searching for. So he came into her tent and saw, and there was Sisera stretched out dead with the tent-pin in his head.
4:23 [hgb]  这 样 ， 神 使 迦 南 王 耶 宾 被 以 色 列 人 制 伏 了 。 
    [kjv]  So God subdued¹² on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel.
    [bbe]  So that day God overcame Jabin, king of Canaan, before the children of Israel.
4:24 [hgb]  从 此 以 色 列 人 的 手 越 发 有 力 ， 胜 了 迦 南 王 耶 宾 ， 直 到 将 他 灭 绝 了 。 
    [kjv]  And the hand of the children of Israel prospered¹³, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
    [bbe]  And the power of the children of Israel went on increasing against Jabin, king of Canaan, till he was cut off.
