23:1 [hgb]  有 人 告 诉 大 卫 说 , 非 利 士 人 攻 击 基 伊 拉 , 抢 夺 禾 场 。 
    [kjv]  Then they told David, saying, Behold1, the Philistines2 fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshingfloors.
    [bbe]  And they sent word to David, saying, The Philistines are fighting against Keilah and taking the grain from the grain-floors.
23:2 [hgb]  所 以 大 卫 求 问 耶 和 华 说 , 我 去 攻 打 那 些 非 利 士 人 可 以 不 可 以 。 耶 和 华 对 大 卫 说 , 你 可 以 去 攻 打 非 利 士 人 , 拯 救 基 伊 拉 。 
    [kjv]  Therefore David enquired3 of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite4 these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.
    [bbe]  So David, questioning the Lord, said, Am I to go and make an attack on these Philistines? And the Lord said to David, Go and make an attack on the Philistines so that Keilah may be kept from falling into their hands.
23:3 [hgb]  跟 随 大 卫 的 人 对 他 说 , 我 们 在 犹 大 地 这 里 尚 且 惧 怕 , 何 况 往 基 伊 拉 去 攻 打 非 利 士 人 的 军 旅 呢 ? 
    [kjv]  And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?
    [bbe]  And David's men said to him, Even here in Judah we are full of fear: how much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?
23:4 [hgb]  大 卫 又 求 问 耶 和 华 。 耶 和 华 回 答 说 , 你 起 身 下 基 伊 拉 去 , 我 必 将 非 利 士 人 交 在 你 手 里 。 
    [kjv]  Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
    [bbe]  Then David put the question to the Lord again, and the Lord answering said, Up! go down to Keilah; for I will give the Philistines into your hands.
23:5 [hgb]  大 卫 和 跟 随 他 的 人 往 基 伊 拉 去 , 与 非 利 士 人 打 仗 , 大 大 杀 败 他 们 , 又 夺 获 他 们 的 牲 畜 。 这 样 , 大 卫 救 了 基 伊 拉 的 居 民 。 
    [kjv]  So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and smote5 them with a great slaughter6. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
    [bbe]  So David and his men went to Keilah, and had a fight with the Philistines, and took away their cattle, and put them to the sword with great destruction. So David was the saviour7 of the people of Keilah.
23:6 [hgb]  亚 希 米 勒 的 儿 子 亚 比 亚 他 逃 到 基 伊 拉 见 大 卫 的 时 候 , 手 里 拿 着 以 弗 得 。 
    [kjv]  And it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand.
    [bbe]  Now when Abiathar, the son of Ahimelech, went in flight to David, he came down to Keilah with the ephod in his hand.
23:7 [hgb]  有 人 告 诉 扫 罗 说 , 大 卫 到 了 基 伊 拉 。 扫 罗 说 , 他 进 了 有 门 有 闩 的 城 , 困 闭 在 里 头 。 这 是 神 将 他 交 在 我 手 里 了 。 
    [kjv]  And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.
    [bbe]  And news was given to Saul that David had come to Keilah. And Saul said, Now God has given him into my hands; for by going into a walled town with locked doors, he has let himself be shut in.
23:8 [hgb]  于 是 扫 罗 招 聚 众 民 , 要 下 去 攻 打 基 伊 拉 城 , 围 困 大 卫 和 跟 随 他 的 人 。 
    [kjv]  And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege8 David and his men.
    [bbe]  And Saul sent for all the people to come to the fight, and go down to Keilah to make an attack on David and his men.
23:9 [hgb]  大 卫 知 道 扫 罗 设 计 谋 害 他 , 就 对 祭 司 亚 比 亚 他 说 , 将 以 弗 得 拿 过 来 。 
    [kjv]  And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief9 against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.
    [bbe]  And it was clear to David that Saul had evil designs against him, and he said to Abiathar the priest, Come here with the ephod.
23:10 [hgb]  大 卫 祷 告 说 , 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 阿 , 你 仆 人 听 真 了 扫 罗 要 往 基 伊 拉 来 , 为 我 的 缘 故 灭 城 。 
    [kjv]  Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.
    [bbe]  Then David said, O Lord, the God of Israel, news has been given to your servant that it is Saul's purpose to come to Keilah and send destruction on the town because of me.
23:11 [hgb]  基 伊 拉 人 将 我 交 在 扫 罗 手 里 不 交 。 扫 罗 照 着 你 仆 人 所 听 的 话 下 来 不 下 来 。 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 阿 , 求 你 指 示 仆 人 。 耶 和 华 说 , 扫 罗 必 下 来 。 
    [kjv]  Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech10 thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
    [bbe]  And now, is it true, as they have said to me, that Saul is coming? O Lord, the God of Israel, give ear to your servant, and say if these things are so. And the Lord said, He is coming down.
23:12 [hgb]  大 卫 又 说 , 基 伊 拉 人 将 我 和 跟 随 我 的 人 交 在 扫 罗 手 里 不 交 。 耶 和 华 说 , 必 交 出 来 。 
    [kjv]  Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver thee up.
    [bbe]  Then David said, Will the men of Keilah give me and my men up to Saul? and the Lord said, They will give you up.
23:13 [hgb]  大 卫 和 跟 随 他 的 约 有 六 百 人 , 就 起 身 出 了 基 伊 拉 , 往 他 们 所 能 往 的 地 方 去 。 有 人 告 诉 扫 罗 , 大 卫 离 开 基 伊 拉 逃 走 。 于 是 扫 罗 不 出 来 了 。 
    [kjv]  Then David and his men, which were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went whithersoever they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he forbare to go forth11.
    [bbe]  Then David and his men, about six hundred of them, went out of Keilah, and got away wherever they were able to go. And Saul, hearing that David had got away from Keilah, did not go there.
23:14 [hgb]  大 卫 住 在 旷 野 的 山 寨 里 , 常 在 西 弗 旷 野 的 山 地 。 扫 罗 天 天 寻 索 大 卫 , 神 却 不 将 大 卫 交 在 他 手 里 。 
    [kjv]  And David abode12 in the wilderness13 in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.
    [bbe]  And David kept in the waste land, in safe places, waiting in the hill-country in the waste land of Ziph. And Saul was searching for him every day, but God did not give him up into his hands.
23:15 [hgb]  大 卫 知 道 扫 罗 出 来 寻 索 他 的 命 。 那 时 , 他 住 在 西 弗 旷 野 的 树 林 里 。 
    [kjv]  And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.
    [bbe]  And David was full of fear, in the knowledge that Saul had come out to take his life; and David was in the waste land of Ziph, in Horesh.
23:16 [hgb]  扫 罗 的 儿 子 约 拿 单 起 身 , 往 那 树 林 里 去 见 大 卫 , 使 他 倚 靠 神 得 以 坚 固 , 
    [kjv]  And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.
    [bbe]  And Saul's son Jonathan went to David in Horesh, and made his hands strong in God;
23:17 [hgb]  对 他 说 , 不 要 惧 怕 。 我 父 扫 罗 的 手 必 不 加 害 于 你 。 你 必 作 以 色 列 的 王 , 我 也 作 你 的 宰 相 。 这 事 我 父 扫 罗 知 道 了 。 
    [kjv]  And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.
    [bbe]  And said to him, Have no fear, for Saul my father will not get you into his power; and you will be king of Israel, and I will be by your side, and my father Saul is certain of this.
23:18 [hgb]  于 是 二 人 在 耶 和 华 面 前 立 约 。 大 卫 仍 住 在 树 林 里 , 约 拿 单 回 家 去 了 。 
    [kjv]  And they two made a covenant14 before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.
    [bbe]  And the two of them made an agreement before the Lord: and David went on living in Horesh, and Jonathan went back to his house.
23:19 [hgb]  西 弗 人 上 到 基 比 亚 见 扫 罗 , 说 , 大 卫 不 是 在 我 们 那 里 的 树 林 里 山 寨 中 , 旷 野 南 边 的 哈 基 拉 山 藏 着 吗 ? 
    [kjv]  Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon?
    [bbe]  Then the Ziphites came up to Gibeah to see Saul, and said, Is not David living secretly among us in the strong places in Horesh, in the hill of Hachilah to the south of the waste land?
23:20 [hgb]  王 阿 , 请 你 随 你 的 心 愿 下 来 , 我 们 必 亲 自 将 他 交 在 王 的 手 里 。 
    [kjv]  Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of thy soul to come down; and our part shall be to deliver him into the king's hand.
    [bbe]  So now, O king, have your soul's desire and come down, and we, for our part, will give him up into the king's hands.
23:21 [hgb]  扫 罗 说 , 愿 耶 和 华 赐 福 与 你 们 , 因 你 们 顾 恤 我 。 
    [kjv]  And Saul said, Blessed be ye of the LORD; for ye have compassion15 on me.
    [bbe]  And Saul said, The Lord's blessing16 will be yours, for you have had pity on me.
23:22 [hgb]  请 你 们 回 去 , 再 确 实 查 明 他 的 住 处 和 行 踪 , 是 谁 看 见 他 在 那 里 , 因 为 我 听 见 人 说 他 甚 狡 猾 。 
    [kjv]  Go, I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who hath seen him there: for it is told me that he dealeth very subtilly.
    [bbe]  Go now, and take more steps, and see where he is living: for they say that he is expert in deceit.
23:23 [hgb]  所 以 要 看 准 他 藏 匿 的 地 方 , 回 来 据 实 地 告 诉 我 , 我 就 与 你 们 同 去 。 他 若 在 犹 大 的 境 内 , 我 必 从 千 门 万 户 中 搜 出 他 来 。 
    [kjv]  See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking17 places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.
    [bbe]  So take care to get knowledge of all the secret places where he is taking cover, and be certain to come back to me, and I will go with you: and without doubt, if he is anywhere in the land, I will get him, among all the families of Judah.
23:24 [hgb]  西 弗 人 就 起 身 , 在 扫 罗 以 先 往 西 弗 去 。 大 卫 和 跟 随 他 的 人 却 在 玛 云 旷 野 南 边 的 亚 拉 巴 。 
    [kjv]  And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon.
    [bbe]  And they went back and came to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the waste land of Maon, in the dry land south of the waste land.
23:25 [hgb]  扫 罗 和 跟 随 他 的 人 去 寻 找 大 卫 。 有 人 告 诉 大 卫 , 他 就 下 到 磐 石 , 住 在 玛 云 的 旷 野 。 扫 罗 听 见 , 便 在 玛 云 的 旷 野 追 赶 大 卫 。 
    [kjv]  Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they told David: wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon.
    [bbe]  And Saul and his men went in search of him. And David had word of it, so he came down to the rock in the waste land of Maon. And Saul, hearing of this, went after David into the waste land of Maon.
23:26 [hgb]  扫 罗 在 山 这 边 走 , 大 卫 和 跟 随 他 的 人 在 山 那 边 走 。 大 卫 急 忙 躲 避 扫 罗 。 因 为 扫 罗 和 跟 随 他 的 人 , 四 面 围 住 大 卫 和 跟 随 他 的 人 , 要 拿 获 他 们 。 
    [kjv]  And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take them.
    [bbe]  And Saul and his men went on one side of the mountain, and David and his men went on the other: and David's purpose was to get away as quickly as possible, for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men were making a circle round David and his men in order to take them.
23:27 [hgb]  忽 有 使 者 来 报 告 扫 罗 说 , 非 利 士 人 犯 境 抢 掠 , 请 王 快 快 回 去 。 
    [kjv]  But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste thee, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land.
    [bbe]  But a man came to Saul saying, Be quick and come; for the Philistines have made an attack on the land.
23:28 [hgb]  于 是 扫 罗 不 追 赶 大 卫 , 回 去 攻 打 非 利 士 人 。 因 此 那 地 方 名 叫 西 拉 哈 玛 希 罗 结 。 
    [kjv]  Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Selahammahlekoth.
    [bbe]  So turning back from going after David, Saul went against the Philistines: so that place was named Sela-hammah-lekoth.
23:29 [hgb]  大 卫 从 那 里 上 去 , 住 在 隐 基 底 的 山 寨 里 。 
    [kjv]  And David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong holds at Engedi.
    [bbe]  And from there, David went up and took cover in the safe place of En-gedi.
