[kjv] And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
[bbe] And make holy robes for Aaron your brother, so that he may be clothed with glory and honour.
28:3 [hgb] 又 要 吩 咐 一 切 心 中 有 智 慧 的 ， 就 是 我 用 智 慧 的 灵 所 充 满 的 ， 给 亚 伦 作 衣 服 ， 使 他 分 别 为 圣 ， 可 以 给 我 供 祭 司 的 职 分 。
[kjv] And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate1 him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
[bbe] Give orders to all the wise-hearted workmen, whom I have made full of the spirit of wisdom, to make robes for Aaron, so that he may be made holy as my priest.
28:4 [hgb] 所 要 作 的 就 是 胸 牌 ， 以 弗 得 ， 外 袍 ， 杂 色 的 内 袍 ， 冠 冕 ， 腰 带 ， 使 你 哥 哥 亚 伦 和 他 儿 子 穿 这 圣 服 ， 可 以 给 我 供 祭 司 的 职 分 。
[kjv] And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
[bbe] This is what they are to make: a priest's bag, an ephod, and a robe, and a coat of coloured needlework, a head-dress, and a linen2 band; they are to make holy robes for Aaron your brother and for his sons, so that they may do the work of priests for me.
28:5 [hgb] 要 用 金 线 和 蓝 色 ， 紫 色 ， 朱 红 色 线 ， 并 细 麻 去 作 。
[kjv] And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet3, and fine linen.
[bbe] They are to take the gold and blue and purple and red and the best linen,

[kjv] It shall have the two shoulderpieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and so it shall be joined together.
[bbe] It is to have two bands stitched to it at the top of the arms, joining it together.

[kjv] And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

[bbe] With the work of a jeweller, like the cutting of a stamp, the names of the children of Israel are to be cut on them, and they are to be fixed7 in twisted frames of gold.

[bbe] And the two stones are to be placed on the ephod, over the arm-holes, to be stones of memory for the children of Israel: Aaron will have their names on his arms when he goes in before the Lord, to keep the Lord in mind of them.

[bbe] And you are to make twisted frames of gold;
28:14 [hgb] 又 拿 精 金 ， 用 拧 工 仿 佛 拧 绳 子 ， 作 两 条 链 子 ， 把 这 拧 成 的 链 子 搭 在 二 槽 上 。

[kjv] And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings.
[bbe] The fourth, a topaz, a beryl, and a jasper; they are to be fixed in twisted frames of gold.
28:21 [hgb] 这 些 宝 石 都 要 按 着 以 色 列 十 二 个 儿 子 的 名 字 ， 仿 佛 刻 图 书 ， 刻 十 二 个 支 派 的 名 字 。
[kjv] And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.
[bbe] The jewels are to be twelve in number, for the names of the children of Israel; every jewel having the name of one of the twelve tribes cut on it as on a stamp.

[kjv] And thou shalt put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings which are on the ends of the breastplate.
[bbe] Put the two gold chains on the two rings at the ends of the bag;

[kjv] And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of the breastplate in the border thereof, which is in the side of the ephod inward.
[bbe] Then make two gold rings and put them on the lower ends of the bag, at the edge of it on the inner side nearest to the ephod.
28:27 [hgb] 又 要 作 两 个 金 环 ， 安 在 以 弗 得 前 面 两 条 肩 带 的 下 边 ， 挨 近 相 接 之 处 ， 在 以 弗 得 巧 工 织 的 带 子 以 上 。
[kjv] And two other rings of gold thou shalt make, and shalt put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath13, toward the forepart thereof, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
[bbe] And make two more gold rings and put them on the front of the ephod at the top of the arms, at the join, over the worked band:
28:28 [hgb] 要 用 蓝 细 带 子 把 胸 牌 的 环 子 与 以 弗 得 的 环 子 系 住 ， 使 胸 牌 贴 在 以 弗 得 巧 工 织 的 带 子 上 ， 不 可 与 以 弗 得 离 缝 。
[kjv] And they shall bind14 the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.
[bbe] So that the rings on the bag may be fixed to the rings of the ephod by a blue cord and on to the band of the ephod, so that the bag may not come loose from the ephod.
28:29 [hgb] 亚 伦 进 圣 所 的 时 候 ， 要 将 决 断 胸 牌 ， 就 是 刻 着 以 色 列 儿 子 名 字 的 ， 带 在 胸 前 ， 在 耶 和 华 面 前 常 作 纪 念 。
[kjv] And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.
[bbe] And so Aaron will have the names of the children of Israel on the priest's bag over his heart whenever he goes into the holy place, to keep the memory of them before the Lord.
28:30 [hgb] 又 要 将 乌 陵 和 土 明 放 在 决 断 的 胸 牌 里 ， 亚 伦 进 到 耶 和 华 面 前 的 时 候 ， 要 带 在 胸 前 ， 在 耶 和 华 面 前 常 将 以 色 列 人 的 决 断 牌 带 在 胸 前 。
[kjv] And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.
[bbe] And in the bag you are to put the Urim and Thummim, so that they may be on Aaron's heart whenever he goes in before the Lord; and Aaron may have the power of making decisions for the children of Israel before the Lord at all times.
28:31 [hgb] 你 要 作 以 弗 得 的 外 袍 ， 颜 色 全 是 蓝 的 。
[kjv] And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
[bbe] The robe which goes with the ephod is to be made all of blue;
28:32 [hgb] 袍 上 要 为 头 留 一 领 口 ， 口 的 周 围 织 出 领 边 来 ， 仿 佛 铠 甲 的 领 口 ， 免 得 破 裂 。
[kjv] And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding15 of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.
[bbe] With a hole at the top, in the middle of it; the hole is to be edged with a band to make it strong like the hole in the coat of a fighting-man, so that it may not be broken open.

28:39 [hgb] 要 用 杂 色 细 麻 线 织 内 袍 ， 用 细 麻 布 作 冠 冕 ， 又 用 绣 花 的 手 工 作 腰 带 。
[kjv] And thou shalt embroider17 the coat of fine linen, and thou shalt make the mitre of fine linen, and thou shalt make the girdle of needlework.
[bbe] The coat is to be made of the best linen, worked in squares; and you are to make a head-dress of linen, and a linen band worked in needlework.
28:40 [hgb] 你 要 为 亚 伦 的 儿 子 作 内 袍 ， 腰 带 ， 裹 头 巾 ， 为 荣 耀 ， 为 华 美 。
[kjv] And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets18 shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
[bbe] And for Aaron's sons you are to make coats, and bands, and head-dresses, so that they may be clothed with glory and honour.

[kjv] And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs19 they shall reach:
[bbe] And you are to make them linen trousers, covering their bodies from the middle to the knee;
28:43 [hgb] 亚 伦 和 他 儿 子 进 入 会 幕 ， 或 就 近 坛 ， 在 圣 所 供 职 的 时 候 必 穿 上 ， 免 得 担 罪 而 死 。 这 要 为 亚 伦 和 他 的 后 裔 作 永 远 的 定 例 。

[bbe] Aaron and his sons are to put these on whenever they go into the Tent of meeting or come near the altar, when they are doing the work of the holy place, so that they may be free from any sin causing death: this is to be an order for him and his seed after him for ever.
