30:3 [hgb] 他 们 因 穷 乏 饥 饿 , 身 体 枯 瘦 , 在 荒 废 凄 凉 的 幽 暗 中 啃 干 燥 之 地 。
[kjv] For want and famine they were solitary2; fleeing into the wilderness3 in former time desolate4 and waste.
[bbe] They are wasted for need of food, biting the dry earth; their only hope of life is in the waste land.
30:4 [hgb] 在 草 丛 之 中 采 咸 草 , 罗 腾 的 根 为 他 们 的 食 物 ( 罗 腾 小 树 名 松 类 ) 。
[kjv] Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat.
[bbe] They are pulling off the salt leaves from the brushwood, and making a meal of roots.

[kjv] They were driven forth5 from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)
[bbe] They are sent out from among their townsmen, men are crying after them as thieves

[kjv] To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.

[kjv] Among the bushes they brayed6; under the nettles7 they were gathered together.

[kjv] They abhor10 me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.
[bbe] I am disgusting to them; they keep away from me, and put marks of shame on me.

[kjv] Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted12 me, they have also let loose the bridle13 before me.

[kjv] By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.
