[kjv] And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.
[bbe] Now it came about in the days of Ahaz, the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin, the king of Aram, and Pekah, the son of Remaliah, the king of Israel, came up to Jerusalem to make war against it, but were not able to overcome it.
7:2 [hgb] 有 人 告 诉 大 卫 家 说 ， 亚 兰 与 以 法 莲 已 经 同 盟 。 王 的 心 和 百 姓 的 心 就 都 跳 动 ， 好 像 林 中 的 树 被 风 吹 动 一 样 。
[kjv] And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.
[bbe] And word came to the family of David that Aram had put up its tents in Ephraim. And the king's heart, and the hearts of his people, were moved, like the trees of the wood shaking in the wind.
7:3 [hgb] 耶 和 华 对 以 赛 亚 说 ， 你 和 你 的 儿 子 施 亚 雅 述 出 去 ， 到 上 池 的 水 沟 头 ， 在 漂 布 地 的 大 路 上 ， 去 迎 接 亚 哈 斯 。
[kjv] Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth1 now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field;
[bbe] Then the Lord said to Isaiah, Go out now, you and Shear-jashub, your son, and you will come across Ahaz at the end of the stream flowing from the higher pool, in the highway of the washerman's field;
7:4 [hgb] 对 他 说 ， 你 要 谨 慎 安 静 。 不 要 因 亚 兰 王 利 汛 ， 和 利 玛 利 的 儿 子 ， 这 两 个 冒 烟 的 火 把 头 所 发 的 烈 怒 害 怕 ， 也 不 要 心 里 胆 怯 。
[kjv] And say unto him, Take heed2, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
[bbe] And say to him, Take care and be quiet; have no fear, and do not let your heart be feeble, because of these two ends of smoking fire-wood, because of the bitter wrath3 of Rezin and Aram, and of the son of Remaliah.
7:5 [hgb] 因 为 亚 兰 ， 和 以 法 莲 ， 并 利 玛 利 的 儿 子 ， 设 恶 谋 害 你 ，
[kjv] Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,
[bbe] Because Aram has made evil designs against you, saying,
7:6 [hgb] 说 ， 我 们 可 以 上 去 ， 攻 击 犹 大 ， 扰 乱 它 ， 攻 破 它 ， 在 其 中 立 他 比 勒 的 儿 子 为 王 。
[kjv] Let us go up against Judah, and vex4 it, and let us make a breach5 therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:
[bbe] Let us go up against Judah, troubling her, and forcing our way into her, and let us put up a king in her, even the son of Tabeel:
7:7 [hgb] 所 以 主 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 这 所 谋 的 必 立 不 住 ， 也 不 得 成 就 。
[kjv] Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.
[bbe] This is the word of the Lord God: This design will not come about or be effected.
7:8 [hgb] 原 来 亚 兰 的 首 城 是 大 马 色 ， 大 马 色 的 首 领 是 利 汛 。 六 十 五 年 之 内 ， 以 法 莲 必 然 破 坏 ， 不 再 成 为 国 民 。
[kjv] For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.
[bbe] For the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin (and in sixty-five years from now Ephraim will be broken, and will no longer be a people):
7:9 [hgb] 以 法 莲 的 首 城 是 撒 玛 利 亚 ， 撒 玛 利 亚 的 首 领 是 利 玛 利 的 儿 子 。 你 们 若 是 不 信 ， 定 然 不 得 立 稳 。
[kjv] And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.
[bbe] And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If you will not have faith, your kingdom will be broken.
7:10 [hgb] 耶 和 华 又 晓 谕 亚 哈 斯 说 ，
[kjv] Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
[bbe] And Isaiah said again to Ahaz,
7:11 [hgb] 你 向 耶 和 华 你 的 神 求 一 个 兆 头 。 或 求 显 在 深 处 ， 或 求 显 在 高 处 。
[kjv] Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
[bbe] Make a request to the Lord your God for a sign, a sign in the deep places of the underworld, or in the high heavens.
7:12 [hgb] 亚 哈 斯 说 ， 我 不 求 ， 我 不 试 探 耶 和 华 。
[kjv] But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt6 the LORD.
[bbe] But Ahaz said, I will not put the Lord to the test by making such a request.
7:13 [hgb] 以 赛 亚 说 ， 大 卫 家 阿 ， 你 们 当 听 。 你 们 使 人 厌 烦 岂 算 小 事 ， 还 要 使 我 的 神 厌 烦 吗 ？
[kjv] And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
[bbe] And he said, Give ear now, O family of David: is it not enough that you are driving men to disgust? will you do the same to my God?
7:14 [hgb] 因 此 ， 主 自 己 要 给 你 们 一 个 兆 头 ， 必 有 童 女 怀 孕 生 子 ， 给 他 起 名 叫 以 马 内 利 。 （ 就 是 神 与 我 们 同 在 的 意 思 ）
[kjv] Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold7, a virgin8 shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
[bbe] For this cause the Lord himself will give you a sign; a young woman is now with child, and she will give birth to a son, and she will give him the name Immanuel.
7:15 [hgb] 到 他 晓 得 弃 恶 择 善 的 时 候 ， 他 必 吃 奶 油 与 蜂 蜜 。
[kjv] Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
[bbe] Butter and honey will be his food, when he is old enough to make a decision between evil and good.
7:16 [hgb] 因 为 在 这 孩 子 还 不 晓 得 弃 恶 择 善 之 先 ， 你 所 憎 恶 的 那 二 王 之 地 ， 必 致 见 弃 。
[kjv] For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken9 of both her kings.
[bbe] For before the child is old enough to make a decision between evil and good, the land whose two kings you are now fearing will have become waste.
7:17 [hgb] 耶 和 华 必 使 亚 述 王 攻 击 你 的 日 子 临 到 ， 你 和 你 的 百 姓 ， 并 你 的 父 家 ， 自 从 以 法 莲 离 开 犹 大 以 来 ， 未 曾 有 这 样 的 日 子 。
[kjv] The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.
[bbe] The Lord is about to send on you, and on your people, and on your father's house, such a time of trouble as there has not been from the days of the separating of Ephraim from Judah; even the coming of the king of Assyria.
7:18 [hgb] 那 时 ， 耶 和 华 要 发 丝 声 ， 使 埃 及 江 河 源 头 的 苍 蝇 ， 和 亚 述 地 的 蜂 子 飞 来 。
[kjv] And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss10 for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
[bbe] And it will be in that day that the Lord will make a piping sound for the fly which is in the end of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee which is in the land of Assyria.
7:19 [hgb] 都 必 飞 来 ， 落 在 荒 凉 的 谷 内 ， 磐 石 的 穴 里 ， 和 一 切 荆 棘 篱 笆 中 ， 并 一 切 的 草 场 上 。
[kjv] And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate11 valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
[bbe] And they will come, covering all the waste valleys, and the holes of the rocks, and the thorns, and all the watering-places.
7:20 [hgb] 那 时 ， 主 必 用 大 河 外 赁 的 剃 头 刀 ， 就 是 亚 述 王 ， 剃 去 头 发 ， 和 脚 上 的 毛 ， 并 要 剃 净 胡 须 。
[kjv] In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
[bbe] In that day will the Lord take away the hair of the head and of the feet, as well as the hair of the face, with a blade got for a price from the other side of the River; even with the king of Assyria.
7:21 [hgb] 那 时 ， 一 个 人 要 养 活 一 只 母 牛 犊 ， 两 只 母 绵 羊 。
[kjv] And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;
[bbe] And it will be in that day that a man will give food to a young cow and two sheep;
7:22 [hgb] 因 为 出 的 奶 多 ， 他 就 得 吃 奶 油 。 在 境 内 所 剩 的 人 ， 都 要 吃 奶 油 与 蜂 蜜 。
[kjv] And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.
[bbe] And they will give so much milk that he will be able to have butter for his food: for butter and honey will be the food of all who are still living in the land.
7:23 [hgb] 从 前 凡 种 一 千 棵 葡 萄 树 ， 值 银 一 千 舍 客 勒 的 地 方 ， 到 那 时 ， 必 长 荆 棘 和 蒺 藜 。
[kjv] And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.
[bbe] And it will be in that day that in every place where before there were a thousand vines valued at a thousand shekels of silver, there will be nothing but blackberries and thorns.
7:24 [hgb] 人 上 那 里 去 ， 必 带 弓 箭 ， 因 为 遍 地 满 了 荆 棘 和 蒺 藜 。
[kjv] With arrows and with bows shall men come thither12; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.
[bbe] Men will come there with bows and arrows, because all the land will be full of blackberries and thorns.
7:25 [hgb] 所 有 用 锄 刨 挖 的 山 地 ， 你 因 怕 荆 棘 和 蒺 藜 ， 不 敢 上 那 里 去 。 只 可 成 了 放 牛 之 处 ， 为 羊 践 踏 之 地 。
[kjv] And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser13 cattle.
[bbe] And they will send out the oxen and the sheep on all the hills which before were worked with the spade, ... fear of blackberries and thorns.
