6:1 [hgb]  耶 利 哥 的 城 门 因 以 色 列 人 就 关 得 严 紧 , 无 人 出 入 。 
    [kjv]  Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.
    [bbe]  (Now Jericho was all shut up because of the children of Israel: there was no going out or coming in.)
6:2 [hgb]  耶 和 华 晓 谕 约 书 亚 说 , 看 哪 , 我 已 经 把 耶 利 哥 和 耶 利 哥 的 王 , 并 大 能 的 勇 士 , 都 交 在 你 手 中 。 
    [kjv]  And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty1 men of valour.
    [bbe]  And the Lord said to Joshua, See, I have given into your hands Jericho with its king and all its men of war.
6:3 [hgb]  你 们 的 一 切 兵 丁 要 围 绕 这 城 , 一 日 围 绕 一 次 , 六 日 都 要 这 样 行 。 
    [kjv]  And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.
    [bbe]  Now let all your fighting-men make a circle round the town, going all round it once. Do this for six days.
6:4 [hgb]  七 个 祭 司 要 拿 七 个 羊 角 走 在 约 柜 前 。 到 第 七 日 , 你 们 要 绕 城 七 次 , 祭 司 也 要 吹 角 。 
    [kjv]  And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets3 of rams5' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
    [bbe]  And let seven priests go before the ark with seven loud-sounding horns in their hands: on the seventh day you are to go round the town seven times, the priests blowing their horns.
6:5 [hgb]  他 们 吹 的 角 声 拖 长 , 你 们 听 见 角 声 , 众 百 姓 要 大 声 呼 喊 , 城 墙 就 必 塌 陷 , 各 人 都 要 往 前 直 上 。 
    [kjv]  And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet4, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend6 up every man straight before him.
    [bbe]  And at the sound of a long note on the horns, let all the people give a loud cry; and the wall of the town will come down flat, and all the people are to go straight forward.
6:6 [hgb]  嫩 的 儿 子 约 书 亚 召 了 祭 司 来 , 吩 咐 他 们 说 , 你 们 抬 起 约 柜 来 , 要 有 七 个 祭 司 拿 七 个 羊 角 走 在 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 前 。 
    [kjv]  And Joshua the son of Nun7 called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant8, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD.
    [bbe]  Then Joshua, the son of Nun, sent for the priests and said to them, Take up the ark of the agreement, and let seven priests take seven horns in their hands and go before the ark of the Lord.
6:7 [hgb]  又 对 百 姓 说 , 你 们 前 去 绕 城 , 带 兵 器 的 要 走 在 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 前 。 
    [kjv]  And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the LORD.
    [bbe]  And he said to the people, Go forward, circling the town, and let the armed men go before the ark of the Lord.
6:8 [hgb]  约 书 亚 对 百 姓 说 完 了 话 , 七 个 祭 司 拿 七 个 羊 角 走 在 耶 和 华 面 前 吹 角 。 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 在 他 们 后 面 跟 随 。 
    [kjv]  And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.
    [bbe]  So after Joshua had said this to the people, the seven priests with their seven horns went forward before the Lord, blowing on their horns: and the ark of the Lord's agreement went after them.
6:9 [hgb]  带 兵 器 的 走 在 吹 角 的 祭 司 前 面 , 后 队 随 着 约 柜 行 。 祭 司 一 面 走 一 面 吹 。 
    [kjv]  And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
    [bbe]  And the armed men went before the priests who were blowing the horns, and the mass of the people went after the ark, blowing their horns.
6:10 [hgb]  约 书 亚 吩 咐 百 姓 说 , 你 们 不 可 呼 喊 , 不 可 出 声 , 连 一 句 话 也 不 可 出 你 们 的 口 , 等 到 我 吩 咐 你 们 呼 喊 的 日 子 , 那 时 才 可 以 呼 喊 。 
    [kjv]  And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.
    [bbe]  And to the people Joshua gave an order, saying, You will give no cry, and make no sound, and let no word go out of your mouth till the day when I say, Give a loud cry; then give a loud cry.
6:11 [hgb]  这 样 , 他 使 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 绕 城 , 把 城 绕 了 一 次 。 众 人 回 到 营 里 , 就 在 营 里 住 宿 。 
    [kjv]  So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged9 in the camp.
    [bbe]  So he made the ark of the Lord go all round the town once: then they went back to the tents for the night.
6:12 [hgb]  约 书 亚 清 早 起 来 , 祭 司 又 抬 起 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 。 
    [kjv]  And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.
    [bbe]  And early in the morning Joshua got up, and the priests took up the ark of the Lord.
6:13 [hgb]  七 个 祭 司 拿 七 个 羊 角 在 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 前 , 时 常 行 走 吹 角 。 带 兵 器 的 在 他 们 前 面 走 , 后 队 随 着 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 行 。 祭 司 一 面 走 一 面 吹 。 
    [kjv]  And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
    [bbe]  And the seven priests with their seven horns went on before the ark of the Lord, blowing their horns: the armed men went before them, and the mass of the people went after the ark of the Lord, blowing their horns.
6:14 [hgb]  第 二 日 , 众 人 把 城 绕 了 一 次 , 就 回 营 里 去 。 六 日 都 是 这 样 行 。 
    [kjv]  And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.
    [bbe]  The second day they went all round the town once, and then went back to their tents: and so they did for six days.
6:15 [hgb]  第 七 日 清 早 , 黎 明 的 时 候 , 他 们 起 来 , 照 样 绕 城 七 次 。 惟 独 这 日 把 城 绕 了 七 次 。 
    [kjv]  And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.
    [bbe]  Then on the seventh day they got up early, at the dawn of the day, and went round the town in the same way, but that day they went round it seven times.
6:16 [hgb]  到 了 第 七 次 , 祭 司 吹 角 的 时 候 , 约 书 亚 吩 咐 百 姓 说 , 呼 喊 吧 , 因 为 耶 和 华 已 经 把 城 交 给 你 们 了 。 
    [kjv]  And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.
    [bbe]  And the seventh time, at the sound of the priests' horns, Joshua said to the people, Now give a loud cry; for the Lord has given you the town.
6:17 [hgb]  这 城 和 其 中 所 有 的 都 要 在 耶 和 华 面 前 毁 灭 。 只 有 妓 女 喇 合 与 她 家 中 所 有 的 可 以 存 活 , 因 为 她 隐 藏 了 我 们 所 打 发 的 使 者 。 
    [kjv]  And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
    [bbe]  And the town will be put to the curse, and everything in it will be given to the Lord: only Rahab, the loose woman, and all who are in the house with her, will be kept safe, because she kept secret the men we sent.
6:18 [hgb]  至 于 你 们 , 务 要 谨 慎 , 不 可 取 那 当 灭 的 物 , 恐 怕 你 们 取 了 那 当 灭 的 物 就 连 累 以 色 列 的 全 营 , 使 全 营 受 咒 诅 。 
    [kjv]  And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
    [bbe]  And as for you, keep yourselves from the cursed thing, for fear that you may get a desire for it and take some of it for yourselves, and so be the cause of a curse and great trouble on the tents of Israel.
6:19 [hgb]  惟 有 金 子 , 银 子 , 和 铜 铁 的 器 皿 都 要 归 耶 和 华 为 圣 , 必 入 耶 和 华 的 库 中 。 
    [kjv]  But all the silver, and gold, and vessels10 of brass11 and iron, are consecrated12 unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury13 of the LORD.
    [bbe]  But all the silver and gold and the vessels of brass and iron are holy to the Lord: they are to come into the store-house of the Lord.
6:20 [hgb]  于 是 百 姓 呼 喊 , 祭 司 也 吹 角 。 百 姓 听 见 角 声 , 便 大 声 呼 喊 , 城 墙 就 塌 陷 , 百 姓 便 上 去 进 城 , 各 人 往 前 直 上 , 将 城 夺 取 。 
    [kjv]  So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
    [bbe]  So the people gave a loud cry, and the horns were sounded; and on hearing the horns the people gave a loud cry, and the wall came down flat, so that the people went up into the town, every man going straight before him, and they took the town.
6:21 [hgb]  又 将 城 中 所 有 的 , 不 拘 男 女 老 少 , 牛 羊 和 驴 , 都 用 刀 杀 尽 。 
    [kjv]  And they utterly14 destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass2, with the edge of the sword.
    [bbe]  And they put everything in the town to the curse; men and women, young and old, ox and sheep and ass, they put to death without mercy.
6:22 [hgb]  约 书 亚 吩 咐 窥 探 地 的 两 个 人 说 , 你 们 进 那 妓 女 的 家 , 照 着 你 们 向 她 所 起 的 誓 , 将 那 女 人 和 她 所 有 的 都 从 那 里 带 出 来 。 
    [kjv]  But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her.
    [bbe]  Then Joshua said to the two men who had been sent to make a search through the land, Go into the house of the loose woman, and get her out, and all who are with her, as you gave her your oath.
6:23 [hgb]  当 探 子 的 两 个 少 年 人 就 进 去 , 将 喇 合 与 她 的 父 母 , 弟 兄 , 和 她 所 有 的 , 并 她 一 切 的 亲 眷 , 都 带 出 来 , 安 置 在 以 色 列 的 营 外 。 
    [kjv]  And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.
    [bbe]  So the searchers went in and got out Rahab and her father and mother and her brothers and all she had, and they got out all her family; and they took them outside the tents of Israel.
6:24 [hgb]  众 人 就 用 火 将 城 和 其 中 所 有 的 焚 烧 了 。 惟 有 金 子 , 银 子 , 和 铜 铁 的 器 皿 都 放 在 耶 和 华 殿 的 库 中 。 
    [kjv]  And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.
    [bbe]  Then, after burning up the town and everything in it, they put the silver and gold and the vessels of brass and iron into the store-house of the Lord's house.
6:25 [hgb]  约 书 亚 却 把 妓 女 喇 合 与 她 父 家 , 并 她 所 有 的 , 都 救 活 了 。 因 为 她 隐 藏 了 约 书 亚 所 打 发 窥 探 耶 利 哥 的 使 者 , 她 就 住 在 以 色 列 中 , 直 到 今 日 。 
    [kjv]  And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
    [bbe]  But Joshua kept Rahab, the loose woman, and her father's family and all she had, from death, and so she got a living-place among the children of Israel to this day; because she kept safe the men whom Joshua had sent to make a search through the land.
6:26 [hgb]  当 时 , 约 书 亚 叫 众 人 起 誓 说 , 有 兴 起 重 修 这 耶 利 哥 城 的 人 , 当 在 耶 和 华 面 前 受 咒 诅 。 他 立 根 基 的 时 候 , 必 丧 长 子 , 安 门 的 时 候 , 必 丧 幼 子 。 
    [kjv]  And Joshua adjured15 them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.
    [bbe]  Then Joshua gave the people orders with an oath, saying, Let that man be cursed before the Lord who puts his hand to the building up of this town: with the loss of his first son will he put the first stone of it in place, and with the loss of his youngest son he will put up its doors.
6:27 [hgb]  耶 和 华 与 约 书 亚 同 在 , 约 书 亚 的 声 名 传 扬 遍 地 。 
    [kjv]  So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.
    [bbe]  So the Lord was with Joshua; and news of him went through all the land.
