[kjv] Thou shalt not eat any abominable2 thing.
[bbe] No disgusting thing may be your food.
14:4 [hgb] 可 吃 的 牲 畜 就 是 牛 , 绵 羊 , 山 羊 ,
[kjv] These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,
[bbe] These are the beasts which you may have for food: the ox, the sheep, and the goat;
14:5 [hgb] 鹿 , 羚 羊 , 狍 子 , 野 山 羊 , 麋 鹿 , 黄 羊 , 青 羊 。
[kjv] The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.
[bbe] The hart, the gazelle, and the roe3, the mountain goat and the pygarg and the antelope4 and the mountain sheep.
14:6 [hgb] 凡 分 蹄 成 为 两 瓣 又 倒 嚼 的 走 兽 , 你 们 都 可 以 吃 。
[kjv] And every beast that parteth the hoof5, and cleaveth the cleft6 into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.
[bbe] Any beast which has a division in the horn of its foot and whose food comes back into its mouth to be crushed again, may be used for food.
14:7 [hgb] 但 那 些 倒 嚼 或 是 分 蹄 之 中 不 可 吃 的 乃 是 骆 驼 , 兔 子 , 沙 番 因 为 是 倒 嚼 不 分 蹄 , 就 与 你 们 不 洁 净 。
[kjv] Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.
[bbe] But even among these, there are some which may not be used for food: such as the camel, the hare, and the coney, which are unclean to you, because, though their food comes back, the horn of their feet is not parted in two.
14:8 [hgb] 猪 因 为 是 分 蹄 却 不 倒 嚼 , 就 与 你 们 不 洁 净 。 这 些 兽 的 肉 , 你 们 不 可 吃 , 死 的 也 不 可 摸 。
[kjv] And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
[bbe] And the pig is unclean to you, because though it has a division in the horn of its foot, its food does not come back; their flesh may not be used for food or their dead bodies touched by you.
14:9 [hgb] 水 中 可 吃 的 乃 是 这 些 , 凡 有 翅 有 鳞 的 都 可 以 吃 。
[kjv] These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins7 and scales shall ye eat:
[bbe] And of the things living in the waters, you may take all those who have wings for swimming with and skins formed of thin plates.
14:10 [hgb] 凡 无 翅 无 鳞 的 都 不 可 吃 , 是 与 你 们 不 洁 净 。
[kjv] And whatsoever8 hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
[bbe] But any which have no skin-plates or wings for swimming, you may not take; they are unclean for you.
14:11 [hgb] 凡 洁 净 的 鸟 , 你 们 都 可 以 吃 。
[kjv] Of all clean birds ye shall eat.
[bbe] All clean birds may be used for food.

[bbe] And the pelican and the vulture and the cormorant;

[bbe] The stork and the heron and birds of that sort, and the hoopoe and the bat.
14:19 [hgb] 凡 有 翅 膀 爬 行 的 物 是 与 你 们 不 洁 净 , 都 不 可 吃 。
[kjv] And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.
[bbe] Every winged thing which goes flat on the earth is unclean to you and may not be used as food.
14:20 [hgb] 凡 洁 净 的 鸟 , 你 们 都 可 以 吃 。
[kjv] But of all clean fowls17 ye may eat.
[bbe] But all clean birds you may take.
14:21 [hgb] 凡 自 死 的 , 你 们 都 不 可 吃 , 可 以 给 你 城 里 寄 居 的 吃 , 或 卖 与 外 人 吃 , 因 为 你 是 归 耶 和 华 你 神 为 圣 洁 的 民 。 不 可 用 山 羊 羔 母 的 奶 煮 山 羊 羔 。

[bbe] You may not have as food anything which has come to a natural death; the man from another country who is living with you may take it for food, or you may get a price for it from one of another nation; for you are a holy people to the Lord your God. The young goat is not to be cooked in its mother's milk.
14:22 [hgb] 你 要 把 你 撒 种 所 产 的 , 就 是 你 田 地 每 年 所 出 的 , 十 分 取 一 分 。
[kjv] Thou shalt truly tithe19 all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth20 year by year.
[bbe] Put on one side a tenth of all the increase of your seed, produced year by year.
14:23 [hgb] 又 要 把 你 的 五 谷 , 新 酒 , 和 油 的 十 分 之 一 , 并 牛 群 羊 群 中 头 生 的 , 吃 在 耶 和 华 你 神 面 前 , 就 是 他 所 选 择 要 立 为 他 名 的 居 所 。 这 样 , 你 可 以 学 习 时 常 敬 畏 耶 和 华 你 的 神 。
[kjv] And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds21 and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
[bbe] And make a feast before the Lord your God, in the place which is to be marked out, where his name will be for ever, of the tenth part of your grain and your wine and your oil, and the first births of your herds and your flocks; so that you may have the fear of the Lord your God in your hearts at all times.
14:24 [hgb] 当 耶 和 华 你 神 赐 福 与 你 的 时 候 , 耶 和 华 你 神 所 选 择 要 立 为 他 名 的 地 方 若 离 你 太 远 , 那 路 也 太 长 , 使 你 不 能 把 这 物 带 到 那 里 去 ,
[kjv] And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
[bbe] And if the way is so long that you are not able to take these things to the place marked out by the Lord your God for his name, when he has given you his blessing22, because it is far away from you;
14:25 [hgb] 你 就 可 以 换 成 银 子 , 将 银 子 包 起 来 , 拿 在 手 中 , 往 耶 和 华 你 神 所 要 选 择 的 地 方 去 。
[kjv] Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind23 up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:
[bbe] Then let these things be exchanged for money, and, taking the money in your hand, go to the place marked out by the Lord your God for himself;
14:26 [hgb] 你 用 这 银 子 , 随 心 所 欲 , 或 买 牛 羊 , 或 买 清 酒 浓 酒 , 凡 你 心 所 想 的 都 可 以 买 。 你 和 你 的 家 属 在 耶 和 华 你 神 的 面 前 吃 喝 快 乐 。
[kjv] And thou shalt bestow24 that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,
[bbe] And with the money get whatever you have a desire for, oxen or sheep or wine or strong drink, whatever your soul's desire may be: and make a feast there before the Lord your God, and be glad, you and all your house;
14:27 [hgb] 住 在 你 城 里 的 利 未 人 , 你 不 可 丢 弃 他 , 因 为 他 在 你 们 中 间 无 分 无 业 。
[kjv] And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake25 him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.
[bbe] And give a thought to the Levite who is living among you, for he has no part or heritage in the land.
14:28 [hgb] 每 逢 三 年 的 末 一 年 , 你 要 将 本 年 的 土 产 十 分 之 一 都 取 出 来 , 积 存 在 你 的 城 中 。
[kjv] At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:
[bbe] At the end of every three years take a tenth part of all your increase for that year, and put it in store inside your walls:
14:29 [hgb] 在 你 城 里 无 分 无 业 的 利 未 人 , 和 你 城 里 寄 居 的 , 并 孤 儿 寡 妇 , 都 可 以 来 , 吃 得 饱 足 。 这 样 , 耶 和 华 你 的 神 必 在 你 手 里 所 办 的 一 切 事 上 赐 福 与 你 。
[kjv] And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
[bbe] And the Levite, because he has no part or heritage in the land, and the man from a strange country, and the child who has no father, and the widow, who are living among you, will come and take food and have enough; and so the blessing of the Lord your God will be on you in everything you do.
